Christ In You

Hallelujah! I like that. Brother Thomas says hallelujah. You know, I was thinking about Brother Thomas earlier today before I came to church. I was thinking about him and I really wondered if he was going to be at church this morning, and I was just thinking about him and his little wife and I was just thinking. I was thinking, Lord, how courageous Brother Thomas is. My! he's so courageous. He has fought the battle for many years. He's traveled and traveled and at the age of about ninety, or ninety-two, whatever it is, he still was going right on. He still was driving his car and going right on and preaching. And still had engagement in Florida and different places. And finally they got a little troubled about him and I think something happened and they took his license or something. I don't know what it was, but anyway, I just thought it was so outstanding. It is so marvelous. It reminds me of Caleb and of Moses. Moses a hundred and twenty; his eyes had not waxed dim. The natural sources of his body had not abated. And Caleb, he went out to fight a battle and he was getting up into age but when they ask about somebody fighting it for him, or whatever, he said, Oh, no. No. I feel just like I did when we crossed the Jordan years ago. And he went out and fought his own battle. Abraham of old, he climb astride his camel and went right out and fought the battle and won the war. And that's how wonderful it is to be a Christian, you know. They that wait upon the Lord they renew their strength. Hallelujah! So then, it's wonderful to be a Christian. Let's give the Lord a hand. I think that's good, don't you? Just to give the Lord a hand. Hallelujah! I'm always reminded of the Scripture where he says clap your hands all ye people. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Well, anyway, we're back tonight to talk to you just a little bit about the good things of God. And I want to say again I always appreciate so much whoever remembers me in this cold water. I don't know why I drink a lot of water but I do. It isn't just when I come here behind the Sacred Desk that I want water. A minister has a habit of drinking a little water when they're preaching to keep their throats damp, but I just get thirsty and I enjoy the water. At home I'm always drinking water and every since I've been a boy I've liked a lot of water. But, anyway, I'm glad to be here tonight and I'm glad to see you here. I was talking to some of my Brethren just a few minutes before service. We had gathered down there at the little bridge. I had stepped out for a few minutes and I really needed to discuss some things with some brethren and some of them wasn't there. I did discuss a few things that was tonight. Brother Cartrette and some of them were saying they would work with me and discussed something with the brethren that I didn't get to discuss. So Men will carry on a little business that needs to be carried on. I like to be about the Father's business. There's one thing that Jesus was noted for. He was always about the Father's business. And I know a lot of people, Brother Thomas, that is about the business of the world and I understand that they have things that they have to do. But then, on the other hand I like to see people that are concerned about God's business and that puts God's business first and then makes their business secondary. And that kind of business always prospers. Every man that puts God's business first always prospers in his business. It's like a picture they had years ago when I was a boy. They had a film called God is My Co-Pilot. You might remember that. The man went out during the war and didn't lose his life. He said it was because God was his co-pilot. Well, I found out in my life that God is the pilot and I do the co-ing. So I find out it works a whole lot better for me that way. He knows where He wants to go and what He wants to do and as long as He does it I just follow along and I feel comfortable over that. Otherwise, I don't feel too comfortable. If I start calling the shots and making the decisions I always wind up in problems, and I mean that for sure. I've never found it to fail but what I wind up in problems. No matter how smart I try to be or how intelligent I try to be, or it doesn't matter how much I try to figure that thing out I always wind up in problems. But if I acknowledge Him in all my ways he directs my path and I never wind up in problems. He always helps me out of it, so that keeps me. Tonight we're back to discuss the Word of the Lord and talk about the good things of God. And this is what it's all about. You know, Jesus on one occasion, He had seventy men to leave Him. And they came to Him rejoicing just before they left Him, and they said, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us in Your name. He said, Don't rejoice because of that but rather because your names are written in the Lamb's book of life. The main thing is, do you know that your names are written in the Lamb's book of life? Paul said, greet my women workers whose name are in the book of life. Do you know that you're name is written in the Lamb's book of life? Make sure. The Bible says examine yourselves; see if you are in the faith. And see if your names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Rejoice if your names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Why? Because you will not have to spend an eternity in the flames of the fire begging for a drop of water, or pleading for release from pain and misery that will never leave you if your names are in the Lamb's book of life. Jesus knew He was going to wade through the flames of Hell and He knew the terror of the flames of hell. And He knew the thing to rejoice over was the fact that you are not going into the flames of hell. If you're not going through the flames of hell you can rejoice. But, folks, let me tell you. You can't rejoice over anything. It doesn't matter what it is, riches, education, even the demonstration, as to cast out devils, or anything else that you might have in your life unless your name is written in the Lamb's book of life and unless you are going to escape the Lake of Fire. You don't have nothing to rejoice over because the thoughts of going into eternal flames is something that is inexpressible. Somebody would say, Well, Brother Pike, I think they will burn awhile and burn out. It doesn't say that. It says, And these are eternal flames. So then, that means that we need to rejoice over the fact that our names are in the Lamb's book of life. And if it isn't in the Lamb's book of life then shake like a leaf in a windstorm because you are in trouble. You are in trouble. It doesn't matter if you live to be a hundred years old. It doesn't matter if you live to be fifty years old or three hundred years old, even as Enoch did. It doesn't make any difference. If your name is not written in the Lamb's book of life you will spend an eternity in the flames. So then, here we are all coming together, trying to get this word of life. This is the words of spirit and this is the words of life. Seventy went their way. And when the seventy left Jesus it proved that though they had done all these great things, yet still their names were not in the Lamb's book of life. And the Bible says, In that day they'll say, Lord, didn't we prophesy? Didn't we do all these great things in your name? But He will say, Depart from me, ye that work iniquity. I never knew you. And then there will be weeping and there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. So then, be sure to examine yourselves and see that you are in the faith lest you be reprobates. Make sure that God's Spirit is in you, Paul said, lest you be a reprobate. Just believing isn't enough. Someone would say, But, Brother Pike, I believe. So does the devil. If you believe there is one God, so does the devil. He trembles when he thinks about it. So does the devils. They tremble. But do you have faith in God? Do you have faith? God has dwelt unto everyone a measure of faith, as when it comes to believing. Every man has to believe. Even in his natural he has to believe, to rise up, to sit down, to go, to come. But that does not mean he has faith. His human senses, that's gendered on the brain by the human senses and his human thoughts but that won't bring salvation. That's not good enough. But when you condition the heart and do the things that please God then the heart believes because you persuade the heart. And in convincing the heart then God hears you. And the Bible says we know that if God hears us we have the desire of our hearts, or we have the petition we desire of him because we have done the things that please God. Or we are doing the things that please God. So then, it is faith in the heart that sanctifies you so that the Spirit of God can come into your heart. And if you don't have faith the Spirit of God will not come into your heart and the Spirit of God will not get near you because God cannot look on you because you are a creature of iniquity. You were born in iniquity and in iniquity did your mother conceive you and you are formed and shaped in iniquity in your first birth. And that means because of that God can't even look at you except that He hath placed the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ on the mercy seat. During the church ages it might give you a chance to find this wonderful light through the expression of God from the ministry. So then, God expresses Himself to you from the ministry while the church ages are here to bring the grace of God that allows you to enter into His presence, even as in the days of Job because the blood was put on the mercy seat from the foundation of the world in the foreknowledge of God. Satan was able to enter into the presence of God and so today Satan can still come into the presence of God by living in a human being and that human being having a right to the grace of God that's given through that mercy of the blood that's on the seat of atonement. And so then, Satan boasts himself and he comes into the presence of God in these people as these people come together. And when the Sons of God come together to present themselves so comes Satan. Even the image of Satan comes, and so comes Satan and he practices his lasciviousness. He turns the days of grace and the grace of God into lasciviousness, sporting his money, his pearls, his face, his form in his lascivious way, lavishly sporting these things. But someday the blood will come off of the seat of atonement. This same Jesus that sets there as the bloody Lamb that came from Calvary by the way of hell and the grave, and resurrected to the right hand of the Father, that sets there as the blood dipped vesture in your behalf; some day that Savior will not be a Savior anymore for He will arise from the seat of mercy and He thus will be the judge of all the world. And the Bible says God has left all the judgment unto the Son, that God will not judge you but the Son will judge you, even the Word, the Son of God, the Word which I speak. That is, the Son of God. He is the Word. And by the Word shall man be justified and by the Word shall man be condemned. Therefore, when we come to the house of God we come to preach the Word and to tell you to give the more earnest heed to the Word, or the things that you have heard lest at anytime you should let them slip and to take heed how that you hear this Word so that you can be sure that you can have faith in the Word and not in heresy, or in some fanaticism. So then, when we preach this Word we try to stress to you that it is necessary for Christ to be in your heart for you to have your names written in the Lamb's book of life. I tell you a lot of times that it is Christ in you that is the hope of glory. I have no hope of that world of glory except it be Christ on the inside, because the Bible says Christ alone was made heir to the glory of God. Therefore, I've not been made heir to the glory of God. You've not been made heir to the glory to God. Only Christ was made heir to the glory of God. But, through Christ I've become an heir to the glory of God. And through Christ you have become an heir to the glory of God. And Christ on the inside of me, and Christ on the inside of you makes you heir to the glory of God. So Christ is that hope of glory. And this glory that works on the inside of us, as the revealing of the Daystar dawning within us is transformating our minds from glory to glory unto the full measure of the full stature of the full reward of the perfect man Christ Jesus. So, this wonderful glory that is to be made manifest in our mortal genes is now come to light. The mystery that was hid in God from the foundation of the world now is made known. Calvary is unveiled as the veil is rent in twain. And because of the dark veil being moved immortality has come to light, or understanding, and today we're being taught immortality, that there are people that will never see the grave but be changed and continue to live on because death is conquered and that they're going to come to the understanding of God to where it's not necessary to go by the way of the grave. So then, Paul said, Behold I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep but be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye. So, this means that because this has come to light, this wonderful teachings of immortality, this light is present with you. This wonderful understanding is now present. And the Bible says now is come light. Now is come understanding. Now the veil has been rent in twain. And now great light, or understanding, has sprang up unto them that sit in the regions of the shadow of death. Or that is, under the shadow of the law which brought the letter, as to the letter of death. And now then, this great light has sprang up and freed those people from that and God has heard the groaning of the prisoners. Said He look down and heard the groaning of the prisoners and have loosed them that were appointed unto death, and in a day accepted He has succored them. So then, he hath broken the appointment with death and He's taken us out from under the bondage of death, out from under the law of the letter that killeth. And this great light has been shining ever since Calvary. And since it has come to pass God said, now light has come. Great light is now in the world and this is the condemnation that has come into the world that men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. So then, we've got to realize one thing and that is, if our deeds are of the world, if our deeds are in the flesh, if our deeds are of a carnal source we can never please God for they that are in the flesh and carnality can never please God, because the carnal mind is death. And it's enmity with God. It is of the tree of knowledge and it is the thief and the robber. It is Satan's mind and it takes into captivity. And if I project the mind of Lucifer, or the things of Lucifer, I lead into captivity and I don't free. I don't free the people. Jesus said the Spirit of the Lord is upon me for He hath anointed me to preach the Gospel and to preach this to the poor. Let whosoever will come. They without money, let them come. And loose the prisoners, to break the bonds, to open the doors of the prisoners, to let them go free. But there are people that bring people into bondage to the beggarly elements of the world and are always projecting something, as to the natural ambition of trying to get them to take part in the world, or be part of the world, or process them to those bondages in the world, leading them into captivity. And the Bible says, they that lead into captivity shall go into captivity. When you lead people into captivity like that God will let the devil take you into captivity and bind you hand and feet and you'll be cast into outer darkness and there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. So, when we think about this then we realize that this thing is a lot deeper than we think. To comprehend the heights, the depths and the width of this wonderful thing concerning God. To always give the earnest heed to the Word. Always the Word. No matter what's said, no matter where it's said, if it is the Word take heed how that you hear it, and give the more earnest heed to make sure that you hear every word of it for not one jot nor tittle of it shall pass until all be fulfilled. You know, the beautiful part of this Gospel is that we could not perform the Word. We could not perform the law. The law of the letter, as to the Word came and we found out that we couldn't perform it, though it was good, though it was spiritual, yet sin got its strength by the law. Not because the law wasn't good for the Bible says the law is spiritual but we are carnal, sold unto sin. And this that we do we do not allow for but we're taken into bondage by Satan through the threat of the broken letter or the broken law. So Jesus, knowing this through the precious Holy Ghost, or Christ's Spirit, has come into the world. He has fulfilled every jot and tittle of the letter and of the law and then went to Calvary and gave His body an atonement for our past sins. And then said, Now you can fulfill the letter. Though you stumble and though there be a breech, and though maybe you don't live up to it like you ought to, is you are trying your best then I have made up the missing link. And now you don't have a broken chain. Now you don't have a missing link because with all of your stumblings and all of your staggerings all you have to do is look to Calvary and your perfection is there. For I have perfected you forever, once and for all. By the offering up of my body I have fulfilled every jot and tittle. I've lived the perfect life and now I accredit this to you. And I ask you to do your best and have faith in me and everything will be just right and be kosher, as they say over in Israel. So it's so wonderful to know that God loves you that much and that He hath done this great thing for you to make it possible that you may have the benefits because you are His children. You know, I said this morning that it is an invisible work. This is an invisible work; Christ in you the hope of that glory. I said to some brethren the other day, I said, brethren, I said, when you have Christ in your heart you already have heaven. You already have heaven. One would say, Well, Brother Pike, that is a good expression but let's be realistic. You know that we're not in heaven, and we must wait until we go to heaven, for we cannot have heaven until we get to heaven. But, see? This is where we have a misunderstanding. God is a spirit. What is heaven? Someone said, Well, heaven is a place. There are streets and there are buildings. And it is a place and I'm going there. But, you know, we over look the fact that heaven is spirit and that God is a spirit and that Jesus Christ became a quickening spirit. And that we're going to be a quickening spirit, that we've been born again to be a quickening spirit. And what would we do with natural buildings as a quickening spirit? Being a quickening spirit you would go right through the top of this building. Being a quickening a spirit Jesus walked right through the wall, right through the door and it not open, as we say. Right through the wall. So then, to be a quickening spirit what are you going to do with buildings and places. It's all a misinterpretation and a misunderstanding. Someone would say, Well, Brother Pike, you just killed my desire to go. If there isn't going to be anything up there to see I don't care about going. And so that's the way it is. That shows how much that we're living in the world and living in the flesh and that our eyes are natural rather than eyes of understanding being enlightened to comprehend this height, depth, and width of the great thing of God. And so we find ourselves completely alienated from the commonwealth of God and shut out. So this is why we stress the point the way we do trying to get you to be spiritual and understand that God is a spirit and let us speak to you as unto spirituals and go after the spiritual things. And the Bible says the Spirit of God within you searches out the things of God, yea, the deep things. This is why that I say when you have Christ in your heart you already have heaven. God is a spirit. Where did the world come from? Did it not emanate from God? Was there a world without God? Or was there a God and then a world came to be as it emanated from God? Now. If it emanated from God then that must mean that it all was in God to start with. If that be true then where did heaven come from? Was there a heaven and then came forth a God? Or was there a God and then came forth heaven? Heaven emanated from God. Then that would mean that God is everything. God is everything and Jesus was the fullness of the Godhead. So then, God in His fullness was in Christ as He is in you and I, but it was in the fullness in Christ Jesus. So that means that heaven was in Him and that He is heaven. And when He came down to earth and when He came into Christ, that was Christ as He came into the body of Jesus and that was heaven. That was the kingdom of heaven and when Jesus preached the gospel He taught the law and the prophets were until John. Since then the kingdom of God is here, brethren. And He was saying, Now the kingdom of God is come. I want you to pray this prayer, He said to His disciples. Pray, Father, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on the earth as it is in heaven. Thy kingdom come. The law and the prophets until John and now Thy kingdom is come. Or He was saying, I am the kingdom. I'm going to rend the veil and when I rend this veil, Christ, the kingdom of God, will be here with you, and in the body of humanity in its measure. And when this kingdom comes, after I rend the veil I'm fixing to go to Calvary. Pray now, Father, thy kingdom come, now let thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven for the one thing that Jesus said, Father, not my will but Thy will be done. All right. So then, we say, Christ Jesus the kingdom. Little flock, I want you to have the kingdom. The law and the prophets until John and now the kingdom has come. Men press their way into the kingdom. So He said, they shall come from the east and they shall come from the west and they shall sit down in the place of the children of the kingdom and the children of the kingdom shall be cast into the outer darkness and there shall be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. And so it came to pass. The Gentiles came in from the East. The strangers came in from the West and then they were translated into the marvelous kingdom of God. But the Jews which belonged to the kingdom of David and of Solomon, and the kingdom of God in that age under David, all of a sudden was rejected and God rejected the Jews and they went out into the holocaust and into the dark ages and there was terror and weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth as they've literally been slaughtered because the kingdom came and people came into the kingdom. And today the kingdom of God that He was going to give the little flock, He gave it to the little flock and now they have it on the inside of them. And because it is on the inside of them it the kingdom of God. Now. Not only that but you, as your innermost angelic being, has been translated into the Spirit of Christ, which is the kingdom of God on the inside of you and you are interwoven with Christ's Spirit and His Spirit with your spirit, which is the kingdom of God. Somebody would say, Yeah and amen. But, you see, brethren, not only it is the kingdom of God, it is the kingdom of heaven. They are one and the same. It is the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom means the place of all the goodies. The power, the riches, the splendor, the glory, the magnificence. Where is it at? It's in Christ. All things are in Christ. God will not look at us except through Christ. He cannot reach us except through Christ. He cannot give us anything except through Christ. All things belong to Christ and He alone is heir to that glory of the riches of the majesty of the kingdom. And so then the kingdom of heaven is within you and when you have Christ you already have heaven. You already have heaven because this is an invisible work. It is to an invisible, angelic people that dwell in little houses of clay. God has so done that to hide it from the eyes of the wise and prudent, and from the world that the tree of knowledge cannot take control of this and that the ecclesiastics cannot monopolize off of it; cannot charge for it. So then, this kingdom is within you. When you have Christ you have everything. If you don't have Christ you don't have anything. So, when you are born again by the translation of your spirit into His Spirit. Your body is baptized for the dead. Because in going out of the Jews and smiting the body indicated the blood covering over all the world until the day that God could let the days of grace pass by after the church ages and bring the Jews back in to the change and bring the church to their change that He might bring judgment upon all because the Jews will not be the scapegoat for the Gentiles anymore. And the Gentiles will be accounted for as their own sin. (Begin side two.) Then when we realize this know that Christ is on the inside. That means that when you are born again you are born again in this world. It means that there isn't going to be an after awhile. There isn't going to be a judgment after awhile. You don't have to go in somewhere to be judged to see if you're going to heaven. You're not going somewhere to be judged to see if you're going to hell. The Bible says the rich men died and in hell he lifted up his eyes. It said that the angels carried Lazarus to Abraham's bosom because he didn't have to die. But the rich man died for to be separated from the spirit of God is to die. To go into hell is death. It's called the second death, the only real death. For the other death is a sleep. Where the spirit departs from the body is not death; that is a sleep. He said, Lazarus sleepeth; I go to awake him. And so then, the angel of Lazarus was carried into Abraham's bosom which means into Abraham's faith which came from Abraham's bosom. All of these went out or died in the faith. And it is today that we are not in Abraham's bosom, nor or we in the faith of Abraham. For all of these died in the faith of Abraham looking forward to the wonderful coming of that which was perfect even the Son of God that He might bring us to perfection. For the Bible says, they without us could not be perfect, but these died in the faith, confessing that they were pilgrims and strangers and embracing the Word of faith that there would come a day when they would be brought into the wonderful righteousness of God, saying, And when He has come unto whom the promise is made, even He that is perfect. When that which is perfect has come, even the Lord who hath perfected forever them that are sanctified and those that were under the law now can be made perfect because we have come and they can be made perfect with us. But without us they could not be made perfect. So when Jesus die then He went into the heart of the earth. He perfected them. He brought them all together and then the resurrection took place and many of the saints of God got up and walked about the city. So then, we see that now we are transferred from the faith of Abraham, as to that which was the resting place, as to where Christ went in His Spirit to preach to them. And we've been transferred to the Spirit of Christ, which is the faith of Christ which is not the faith in Abraham's bosom, but the Bible says, The Son of God, alone, dwells in this light and that He is in the bosom of the Father. So it is the faith of Christ, which is called the righteousness of God that we've been translated into. And now by faith, as Enoch, we are now in the faith, or righteousness, of the Son of God which means the paradise of God. And we are resting fully in this wonderful paradise of God and this kingdom of God within us. So then, the kingdom of heaven is here. If you have this then judgment beginning at the house of God, remission of sin being taught in His name and being baptized for the remission to whomsoever ye remit their sins, or retain their sins, so it is. And so then, when you come to this and you are born again, you go into the kingdom of God. That's all of it. It's all over. You judgment is past. You offenses are now gone for He was delivered for your offenses and raised again for your justification. And because you offended in Adam He was delivered. And because Christ was raised again you are now justified from death and from sorrow. As the proof He is at the right hand of the Father waiting for you because you offenses are now gone. Old things have passed away. You are now a new creature and you are now in a new world and old things shall never be remembered against you again. You body is not the same. The old former body is passed away and you are now the bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. And though it does not yet appear what ye shall be like, just as soon as the church ages are over and the transformation of mind is finished through the tutoring of the Word of God, then you will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye to that body which will appear as the very Christ of which you really are as His body. So, everyone that hath this hope within himself purifies himself even as He is pure, loving His appearing. So when you settle this through new birth you are saved. You are saved once and for all, sealed by the great Spirit of God, once and for all and you keep yourself and the evil one touches you not. Your body is now dead and nothing is profited by the body, so Satan cannot do anything to it though he harasses the mind, though he harasses the body, though he prods at the spirit and he does everything he can as an injurious thing to you or causing you problems or heartaches, or keeping you under pressures; yet it has nothing to do with your spirit. It is just the temporal body that he's aggravating and the dispute is over the body. And though the dispute is settled at Calvary and Jesus went won out over the body, yet it's not settled as to the church world to the extent that there are still those that are coming in and we're still having a continual warfare as to the dispute over the body until we can finish this and everyone comes in that are preordained. Or the last generation being born will bring in the last ones into this kingdom of God and the dispute will be settled and then the body will be changed. As the Jews come in, collectively speaking, there'll be a change. So, when we see this we realize that if Christ in you then you already are in the kingdom. You are already in paradise. And if Christ is not in you, and you've come to the knowledge of God, you are already with darkness on the inside of you and the flames of hell are already there and you are already in them. And the only thing that is keeping you from feeling those flames is the fact that the blood is still on the seat of atonement. Just like your body not being changed is keeping you from enjoying the paradise of God in your human senses, so is the blood on the mercy seat keeping those people in the same grace that you're in and keeping them from feeling the flames of hell until the blood comes off of the mercy seat. So then, whatever you are in this world, whatever you are when you lay down, that's the way you'll be when you wake up. What you are on this side that's what you'll be on the other side. So make sure that Christ is in you lest you be a reprobate. Make sure that you have it before you cross over. Don't take any chances of some judgment that you're going to come to and God is going to evaluate and decide whether you are, or are not, or whether you are good enough, or are not good enough. He said what I say to one I say to all. There is none good but God. And the only goodness you have is God and the only goodness that you could attain unto is through faith of Jesus Christ, which is the righteousness of God by which you are sanctified so that the Christ spirit can come into your heart to give you eternal life by sealing your angelic being on the inside, for this is an angelic world, an angelic battle. It's a angelic journey and the whole thing is angelic and has nothing to do with the body. He hath literally killed the body of all humanity to where He doesn't even have to look at it. He looks at the blood until the days of the grace is over to give everybody a chance to come to this wonderful Gospel. And then after that when He moves the blood the wrath of God will be upon all of those people that do not have this wonderful Christ on the inside. Well, anyway, the kingdom of the beast will be filled with darkness and they will gnaw their tongues for pain. Make sure that Christ is in you. If you have Christ you have heaven. You have everything. You have eternal life. You can do all things through Him that strengthens you and all you've got to do is look to Him, pray to Him, talk to Him, ask Him to help you and strengthen you and Satan is no match for Him and can never, at any time of your life, contaminate you, or can never at any time overthrow you. Paul said, I am persuaded to believe that God is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that great day. He is able to keep you from falling. Don't be afraid. Let not your heart be troubled. God is well able to keep you. Just you don't do anything wrong. You just don't go contrary. You don't be habitual. You don't be foolish. You don't be light hearted. You just stay in there and be sober and do the best you can. And when you do stumble and stagger, knowing that you didn't mean to and didn't allow for that, don't condemn yourself. For the Bible says, Happy is he that doth not condemn himself over that which thing which he allowed. Just say, Lord, I still believe. I didn't mean to do that. And, O God! I know that's under the blood and I'm not going to let the devil tear my faith down and take my shield of faith away to come and prod at me and hinder me in my work for God. I'm not going to do it. And everything will be all right. So then, it's such a beautiful thing that God has done for you. We are the saints of God and all we're doing is transformating in mind, moving toward the full measure of the full stature of the full reward. We have to go through this before the change, but the translation of your angelic inner being has already come to pass as being translated into the kingdom and the body is already the purchased possession at the right hand of the Father so you don't have to worry about it whether it be good or bad. It's already at the right hand of the Father, perfected forever, and is waiting for you as to the new body change. You just do what I tell you and let the wonderful Spirit of God into your heart and your spirit, seal it and keep it until the day of redemption. Grieve not the great mighty Holy Ghost or Spirit of Christ by which you are sealed in your spirit until the day of the redemption of the body, or the change. That is the acknowledgement of that of which you are. Well, let's stand together. Just a few little words tonight to exhort you and to make you stop and think. I know you are probably tired. When a day comes forth it doesn't matter whether you work or don't work, doesn't matter what you do, there's just something about it that you will use up your strength. The ordination of God is it shows the battle and Satan wears the saints of God out. So, it means that we have to start praying and waiting on the Lord. This means that you are tired at the end of the day but God is with you. He is with you and when you have Christ don't fret. Don't worry. What you are in your born again experience, Christ in your heart; that's what you will always be. That's what you are. Don't worry about crossing over. Death is but a sleep. That's all it is. There is no such thing as death. He conquered it. He destroyed it. When He said the gates of hell shall not prevail against you that means death for the second death is called the Lake of Fire. It's called the flames of the fire. And there is no death, as to the first, it's only a separation of your spirit from your body, just going away from the prodding of the devil and the world where Satan is the god that prods at your spirit through the body. You're just pulling off the old dirty garment and you're spirit is fixing to go right into what you call the presence of God, though it's been in the presence of God all the time. But to you, you have so many problems in the flesh until you have to get rid of the flesh to feel that you're in the presence of God. But Paul said, whether in the flesh or out of the flesh we still I don't know one that's caught up to the third heaven, but we still strive to be in His presence, whether in the body or out of the body. See? And we are in His presence all the time. Brother Taylor sings He's here. He's here and He's everywhere and He has been here all the time. For in the latter days, saith God, as to the prophet speaking, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh. God is above you, in you and through you, Paul said to the people that worshipped the unknown God at Mars Hill. If you have Christ on the inside, the new birth, then that means you've passed from death unto life. You shall never come into condemnation. And all you'll do, as Peter said, God has shown me shortly I must put off this my tabernacle. That's all you'll do is take off the garment, but He's also shown me that if I put off this tabernacle I have another one eternal in the heavens, a temple not made with hands. That is, if I have born the tabernacle of the earthy, as to Adam, this body as to journey through the wilderness of intellectual problems, now, if I lay it aside I've cross the Jordan of intellect of the old carnal mind of death, of the tree of knowledge. I now enter into the lovely mind of Christ, which we already have by faith, by the tutoring, leaving the world behind. But I now enter into that. Entering into that I now put on my temple for the body of the Lord Jesus, the resurrected, is not a tabernacle in the wilderness. He passed from that when He was resurrected in the new form and He is now the beautiful temple. And now you are the temples, the beautiful temples of the mighty Holy Ghost. It doeth not yet appear but ye are already the temples in His foreknowledge. And that means that you will put on that beautiful temple as your new body. Let's sing a little chorus together. Always take these things to heart. Take them with you. We sing the song take the name of Jesus with you, child of sorrow and of woe. Take the name of Jesus with you. Take it wherever you may go. Let's sing this little chorus together. (Singing) Sing it with me. (Singing) Can you sing that with me again? (Singing) Do you believe that? God is good. God is good. (Singing) Sing it again. (Singing) God is so good. He's so wonderful. Can you say hallelujah? Can you say hallelujah? (Singing) Do you love the Lord? How sweet and how wonderful and how comforting it is to believe in the Lord, trust Him, just to take Him at His word. We sing these little choruses together that our hearts might blend in together in song and worship because God inhabits the praise of His people. And coming together in these little songs, the word of the Lord, and all of these things of worship, it gives us a new strength, a new vision and it fills us up for this coming week when we'll all go out by ourselves into the world of darkness. I remember Brother Richard the Jews was telling me yesterday, he said, I just have to break in the middle of the week, sometimes leave off with my work, Brother Pike, and come back to Bethlehem. He said, It's just getting too dark out there. And you know, I made the statement that all the different ones will start coming back in that left years ago, and they're doing that. I said the children will start coming in when the darkness starts falling. All around the children are doing that. Your children and my children and other children, they're beginning to see that it's too dark. It was all right as long as there was twilight. They could drink their wine and bubble in their beer. They could dance and sing and they could frolic and it was quite a thing. But now they've become Sodomites, killers, ravishing people. Hatred, murder, malice, envy, strife. All of these things are becoming abased. It's horrible and it's a dark, dark night. And now they're not finding the entertainment that they one time did and the darkness is closing in to where there will be total darkness in the beast's regime and kingdom. Now they're looking for the light. Ye are the light of the world. I said to some of the brethren the other day, I said, My brethren, a light is not given, a light us not given to light up and put under a bushel, but rather to set on a place to where everybody can see it. And this light can give light to everybody and ye are the light of the world. So let your light shine that men may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. I look at Brother Thomas and Sister Thomas and I see a light. And I see a light that's been there a long time. And I think, This light has radiated around the world. And here it is beaming at Little Bethlehem. And how beautiful it is. My! How lovely it is. Such a wonderful radiance of light. The Bible says put on your beautiful garments, O Zion. What are your beautiful garments? Be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission sin, for he that is baptized into Christ has put on Christ. Put on this wonderful body that's waded through the flames of fire and come into my presence with thanksgiving and praise. And come into my presence with this beautiful garment as the garment that's been tried in the fire. Not a moth eaten garment, or that that has been reject, which is sinful. And He said, Your light has come, O Zion. Let your beautiful light shine. Now Calvary has come, the veil is rent. The light is shining and now has come the light, Jesus said. Let your light so shine that men may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Can you give the Lord a hand? Somebody say hallelujah! Hallelujah! (Singing) Brother Thomas has been preaching that old time religion for many years. And other great ministers down through the years have preached this old time religion. It's still shining. Her light is still shining. (Singing) Can you lift your hands up and close your eyes as we sing? (Singing)
