The Book Was Open

You know, I'd like to say that when we speak of the Revelation of Jesus Christ there's really only one Revelation of Jesus Christ and that is written in the book of Revelation; and yet that is the Revelation of Jesus Christ that you don't add to and you don't take away from. But when we say the Revelation of Jesus Christ, Paul said the revelation that's been hid from the foundation of the world, the mystery that's made known to us by revelation. Which means the Word of God, or the revelated Word, or the unveiled Word of the living God that is given to us through the crucifixion of our Savior. Whereas, I said this morning in the Bible says when the disciples questioned Jesus as to why that He spoke to the people in parables, He said, It's not given unto them to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God but to you it is given. So then, a mystery is unveiled and when it's unveiled it is the revelation. So it is that which is beyond the veil and we discuss that which is beyond the veil because we live in the Spirit and we're children of the Spirit. Therefore, we walk in the Spirit. We understand the Spirit. We have an unction from the Holy One that we should know all things. Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. The Bible said, and all things were made known unto the Lord Jesus. Now. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, or the revealing of the coming of the Son of God, or the mysteries, the unveiled mysteries that Paul spoke of as given to the Gentile Church that they should know because they are to be translated as the true Israelite. Tonight I look at you, even as the congregation before me, and I know that you are not Israelites when I look at you naturally, but beyond the veil there is a spiritual man, there is a inner man, even the second man the Lord from heaven. That man is called a spiritual Israelite. That is to say, that is called the Lord from glory Who was born among the Israelites and were the head of the church of the Israelites. And today the true Israelites are those that are spiritual because Christ was the true Israelite. And the Bible said those that are true Israelites, as it refers to them in the days of Paul. Not all of them that came out of Egypt belonged to God. Or that is, was of Israel. But in Isaac shall the seed be called. Therefore, not all of the religious people of our day are Christians but those that are in Christ. For the Bible said He has chosen us in Christ. That is to say, in God's Isaac, as Isaac being an allegoric type of that Lord Jesus which was to come. And according to their deeds they are known for the child is known by his doings and when you're doings are according to the Word of God so are you in the Word, in that He was the Word. Therefore, you've been chosen in the Word, or chosen in Christ, or God's workmanship in the Word, or God's workmanship in Christ and abiding in the Word and the Word abiding in you, you ask what you will and it will be done to you. So then, it's a privilege always to come here to worship with you a few minutes and sing with you and to sing to the Lord and give Him praises, to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, as we so often say, as we come together. We sing that little chorus over and over because it seems so It seems like that's the thing to do is to come together to worship in song and in spirit and to sing those little songs of praise. Maybe we ought to sing that one since the thought came to my mind, Frank. (Singing) Sing it with me now. Can you sing with me? Has God made you glad? Does the spirit of the Lord make to you rejoice? Serving God is joy, peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. This we say over and over because we come together to praise Him and to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Singing) One more time. (Singing) Somebody say hallelujah! Let's sing this little chorus we sing, Frank, so often: He was wounded for my transgressions. A lot of times I stop and think as we sing this chorus, because this chorus tells a Biblical story in just a few words of expressing why we are and what we are today in Christ and how we got to be that. And it's a real form of acknowledgment in praise to Him of what He has done for us. (Singing) Sing that with me. (Singing) Sing it again now. (Singing) Just one more time together. (Singing) You can be seated. He was wounded for my transgressions, by His stripes I'm healed. I don't want to hold you long tonight but I'd like to say some things to you, a few little things. This morning I don't think I held you that long but I might have held you a little long. I don't know. I try not to. I try to be as reasonable as I can because I know that your patience kind of runs thin, you know. And we're living in a day of pressure when people are constantly under pressure but we do come to grow in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ to the full measure of that full stature. How beautiful it is. What an opportunity it is. I know that we, as people, don't realize that because we take, as the world uses the old terms, for granted, things, you know, and say, Well, coming to church, we're at church; it's just routine. We do this over and over and God loves us and we've got plenty of time to learn and we're just learning whatever we can. But, folks, those that are in hell wouldn't feel that way. And those that are cut off don't feel that way. And those that come to acknowledge the fact that they've gone too far and crossed the deadline don't feel that way. And as I say yesterday when the young fellow from the Carolina's called us feeling kind of cut off and didn't know what to do, he didn't feel that way. So then, it is such an opportunity to come to the house of God and sit there and listen to the Word of God, understand that we are children of God and we have this great wonderful opportunity to get this wonderful secret, this mystery that was hidden from the world. Now it's being revealed and we have now the opportunity to get this great wonderful mystery and to grow into it and develop into it to become the sons of God. To as many as believe, even to as many as believed on His name gave He power to become the sons of God. So now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. It does not yet appear what ye shall be but we know that when He does appear we shall be like Him, when we shall see Him as He is. And everyone that has this hope within him purifies himself even as He is pure because the purification is by faith and the fact that you believe that purifies your soul and purifies your heart and makes it to be so. Don't ever get to where you cannot believe that. Don't ever stray too far away to where you cannot believe that. Don't ever cast away your faith which hath great recompense of reward. Hold your faith fast until the end because it is by the grace of God through faith that you are saved and not of works. It's not of the things that you do lest any man should boast, but it is the gift of God and that given to us in Christ before the world ever was and brought to light at Calvary through the rent veil when Jesus rent the veil in twain, in that He made within Himself twain, as to two, or He was the temple and the temple was rent in twain, the veil from the top to the bottom as God separated the law and the prophets which Jesus made within His body as twain, fulfilling both and God rent that, as to the covering cherubs, to make an expose of the wonderful, wonderful throne of God called the mercy seat where the pure blood of the blood cell that was brought and created in Mary's womb, that it was in Christ as the veil was rent in twain, so it appeared there. And a lot of times to bring you into these thoughts we try to refer to it as the seventy weeks of Daniel, four hundred and eighty-three years to Calvary and then the rending of the veil and after that seven years that come in the end time of Jacob's time of trouble, or the tribulation period. And in between there it is the mercy seat or the seven candlesticks, or the seven church age messengers, as we say, where the blood of Christ is on the seat of mercy during the period of the church ages as given us chance for this wonderful dispensational grace. Whereby during this time, the spirit of Christ appearing us during the dispensational grace, the rain being on the tare as well the wheat, during that time the grace unto salvation appears unto us teaching the real elect. Or that is, coming to all men telling them that denying worldly lust they should live soberly and righteously in this present world but only the elect receiving it, so comes the grace unto salvation during the time of the dispensational grace. So then, we try to bring out then just a few little thoughts that you might understand what we are saying. Now, I'd like to make reference tonight to the sixth chapter of the book of Revelation. And a lot of times if you have your Bibles you want to read it. The sixth chapter of the book of Revelation and the 17th verse. "For the great day of His wrath has come and who shall be able to stand?' For the great day of His wrath has come and who shall be able to stand. And this is, of course, found right in the sixth seal in the sixth chapter of the book of Revelation at the later part of the sixth seal. The seals are opened and when the sixth seal is opened then all of a sudden this is said. Now, I'd like to slow down tonight. Sometimes I get a little bit fast in talking to you but I'd love to just slow down tonight and see if I could just expound a few things and explain to you just a few little things here. Paul said, I've a preacher and a teacher, and sometimes I like to just slow down when I'm not out in evangelistic work, just in the church trying to perfect the saints, the minister being set there for the perfecting of the saints, or the perfecting of your faith, that is. I'd like to just slow down and say a few things and see if we can expound something that might lodge within your heart and might remain there for the next few years, or months, whatever it might be, that God would tarry. If looks like that everything is right now on the horizon for the great coming of the Lord. As a matter of fact, when we come in I noticed Brother Taylor was singing a song that we had written quite a long while back and I don't know that I've ever heard him sing that song. Maybe one time before. But, anyway, ever once in a while Brother Taylor sings some of the songs that we wrote. I don't ever sing them. I just kind of sing over and over the little chorus, you know, that we know and hardly ever try to sing any of the songs, though we've written many hundreds of songs. Now. Notice this now. First of all, I'd like to say that if we have visitors tonight we certainly glad to have you. Occasionally we have visitors. As a matter-of-fact, with a regularity we have visitors. But having visitors tonight if this is your first time to be here we welcome you here. Little Bethlehem, the home of the soul, actively engaged in world evangelism, asking you to be a part of it, to come and help us hurl the gospel around the world. When the gospel has gone around the world for a witness then shall the end come. And you're welcome to come and whatever we say we trust that you will listen very closely. Give the more earnest heed to the things you've heard, the Bible said, lest at any time you should let them slip. And take heed how you hear them to make sure that you understand thoroughly what is being said. For when the minister is speaking it's not him speaking but God speaking from within him. Now, that doesn't mean that all the time the minister is up there talking it's God. Paul, on one occasion, or sometimes on occasion he would say, I say this and not the Lord, but I say this believing that I have the spirit of God. And so then, we say these things to you as the Word of God, and the Lord bringing them to us then we repeat them to you. And then there are times when God Himself is speaking to you directly, as to when he gets your attention, God being a spirit and you being a spiritual being, an angelic being, then God makes contact with your spirit and God is speaking directly to you and the revelation mysteries of the great wonderful things, as Paul said, that is revealed to you in this day which is called the wisdom of God that is in heavenly places that's now made known to the church the manifold wisdom of God. So then, in this we'd like to just take our time here and say a few little things, and those things as pertaining to this sixth chapter. First of all we go back to the fifth chapter and we go back to the first verse. And we go back to Him sitting on the throne. "And there was in the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a little book." And this book they sought for someone to open the little book and they could not find anybody in heaven nor in earth, nor under the earth and the great angel proclaimed, who is worth to open the book. And the search was on but there was no man found in heaven, or in earth, Nowhere under the earth. That is to say, when it says under the earth as to that that has passed. No one that had ever lived and no one present at that time, no one in heaven or earth, no one was found even in the future. No one was seen that could open the book and look thereon. But then I said the other night, all of a sudden as John wept much, the angel said, or the elder said, See that you weep not for there is One that has prevailed to open the book, even the Lion of the tribe of Judah. And then when he looked for the Lion of the tribe of Judah he saw a little lamb, as we would say, or he saw a gentle lamb. And he saw this lamb come forth and he took that book. And when he took that book then the elders fell down before Him and the crowns were put down and the angels began to praise Him. Ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of thousands, everything in heaven and everything in the earth, everything under the earth and they begin to praise Him. And it says, O, worthy art Thou, O Lamb of God. Thou art worth to open the book and look there on for Thou hast redeemed us with Thine own blood. And as He took that book He opened the book and there the book was opened that everyone could look upon it. Now. This sounds a little bit staggering but this is so. That book was opened at Calvary. That book was opened at Calvary because that book was the book of redemption. John crying and weeping, knowing that if no one could open that book then we could not be redeemed. No one could be redeemed. And this is why the elders was so thrilled. And this is why the angels were so thrilled. And this is why that all was so thrilled, because that was the book of redemption and now One had prevailed to open the book. That's why John cried. No one found to redeem humanity. But all of a sudden there came forth, as it would be, a bloody Lamb, dipped in a blood vesture, as the Bible gives it. And so this Lamb that came, that had been slain, that had washed us in His own blood, when they recognized that He could open the book they were screaming out, Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Glory and honor and praise be unto the Lamb for He hath redeemed us with His own blood. He hath prevailed to open the book and to look thereon. And so then, when this book He took this book and He opened the book and this is the way He did it. Once He took the book on the back side it was sealed with seven seals. Now, again I say here, this book was opened at Calvary. How can you say, Brother Pike, that this book was opened at Calvary? Because this book was the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why no one else could open the book and look thereon. It was the book. He was the book. Lo, I come in the volume of the book as it is written of me, O God, to do thy will. And the Bible says concerning you and I, that we are an epistle that's known and read of all men because we have to do with the pages of the great book. Or that is, we are considered the books. And the Bible said, And the book was opened and then the books were opened and the world was judged out of the books. And ye are the books. Ye are the epistles that is known and read of all men. For I will take out of you the heart of stone, as to say, that as to those of the Jews and that of Moses and that of the law that was engraven in stone. I will take out that, for harden not your heart as in the days of the provoking, or the provocation of the wilderness when three million people, supposedly, brought out of Egypt. These three million people continually caused God to be upset and murmured and complained against Moses until He let them be swallowed up in the wilderness and let their children go into Canaan. Let them wander around forty years and then took their children into Canaan. See? And the Bible said harden not your heart. Said, I'll take out the hardened heart, the stone, and I'll place within you My own heart, a heart of flesh. And I'll make you bone of My bone and flesh of My flesh. And I'll write upon the table of your heart My laws. That is, the laws of love. I'll let My spirit go into your heart and He will write My desire upon your heart and then it will be the mind of Christ within you and the desire that you have will be of Christ and that desire will come forth and it will do My will. It will manifest itself in My will. So then, we are an epistle that's known and read of all men. And the books were opened and the people were judged out of the books and the things that were written in the books, books, plural, collectively speaking. Books. Many members of the body because He was the book and we are the members of His body. We are part of the book. And yet He, because He is the headship of the church, then He's considered THE book, the mind of God it it's fullness. God giveth the Spirit unto Him, not by measure but in it's fullness. And so then, it said, And the book was opened. Now, whosoever names were not found written in the book. That is, in that book, that body of His that was not found within the blood atoning body, or the blood dipped vesture. Those that were not written in blood in that then they were not in the book. Those that were not predestinated in Christ, that was not God's workmen ship in Christ, those that are not found walking according to the order of this book, those that are not living within the Scriptures and the confines of the Scriptures and the boundaries of the Scriptures, those that are not trying to have the mind of the Scriptures and listening to the Word of the writings of God's book, those that are not trying to conform to the way of the life of God, they are not in the book. They are not found in the book. If this Spirit of truth, as to the spirit of the Word, in that He was the Word of truth and said, I came to bear witness of the truth. If the Spirit is within you that was in Christ Jesus it will quicken your mortal body and bear witness with your spirit that now, beloved, ye are the Sons of God. It doth not yet appear what ye shall be but when He appears ye shall be life Him for ye shall see Him as He is. Now. The books were opened. The books being opened then the people were judged out of the books. So, I see Him as the great book. And there He is. Paul said, Greet my women workers whose names are written in the book of life. He was the book of life. For He said, I am the Prince of Life; I've come that you may have life and that you may have it more abundant, which means filled up and overflowing. So then, within that book of life my women workers names are already there even while they work with me, Paul said. And ye are God's elect according to foreknowledge. And before the children ever being born into the world, as Jacob and Esau, he said, Jacob have I love and Esau have I hated, the children having done no good or evil that it might stand by the foreknowledge of God, elect according to foreknowledge in the predestination of God, the predetermined plan of God, there it was. And then the Bible said, God having saved you while you were yet in your sins, before you ever came to know God by foreknowledge He had already saved you. Before you were ever born into the world. And the man said, as a prophet, Before I was ever formed in the womb I was called to be a prophet. It was said of Judas before he ever came to be born it was said, Let another his Bishopric take. So, God working all things after the council of His own will said, For this cause have I raised Pharoah up that I might show My power through him. Or the world My power. So, when we think about the book, this great wonderful book, it was the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament the book was sprinkled with blood because as it was read, all things were purged by fire and by blood. And thus it was sprinkled with the blood. And as the dove sprinkled with the blood showing the Spirit as it went away. And those as to the scapegoat and the washing of regeneration, as to the typical thing of the Old Testament. Now, we see all of this. That was allegoric. That was the veil. Now we see beyond the veil. And I spoke of it this morning, as to the Jews, as the shell and that little chick within the shell going beyond the veil and going into that which is the secret, as to the inner most, inner most courts. Not as to the outer courts, not as to the inner courts, as to the holy place, but the inner most courts of the holies of holies, going into that. Into the very life cell itself. So the book was opened and the Bible speaks of this; that day the book will be opened. The book will be opened and whosoever's names are not found written in the book then they won't have eternal life. Folks, if you're not born again, if you're not within Christ you didn't make it. God saved the whole world through one man in the old times when the world passed away, as the days of Noah. Only Noah found grave in the eyes of God and thus God saved His family. I want to say this again, not as just a little saying but as to bring to your understanding this one thing: that in that day eight people were saved. The next great thing that happened, as to Sodom and Gomorrah, half that many were saved. For Abraham's sake half of those were saved that were brought out of Sodom and Gomorrah and just four of those coming out and only three of those made it. (Begin tape one, side two.) ...great deluge and problem when they crossed coming out of Egypt into Canaan, there was only two of them that was saved, Caleb and Joshua. And then now it comes to the next great deluge, as to our day, as to Calvary, and only One is saved. So it come from eight down to one. In our day there is only one that can be saved and that's the Lord Jesus Christ. For all flesh has corrupted it's way before God and no one found favor in the sight of God except Jesus, the new blood cell, the new life. And the sentence of death was in every other blood cell. And, therefore, unless you are born of His blood, unless you are part of His family, in that those in the days of Noah were saved because of Noah, then you cannot be God's disciple. You cannot be His child. You must be bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. You must be born of the Spirit. You must drink His blood and eat His flesh or you don't have any life in you. That's why we have the Lord's supper. That's what this is; the feasting of the Lord's supper. And spots and blemishes are in your midst because they feast with eyes of adultery and fornication. And they're only spots and blemishes to spy out your liberty that they might bring you into bondage. But, you being the children of God, we feast. This is the feast. Come to my supper, He said, my lamb is prepared. My meal is prepared; go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, saith the Lord, that my house might be filled. And he sent out the invitations according to the little proverbial speech that Jesus gave, as the parable. But they did not come. They did not have time. One had married a wife. One had purchased a field. Others had purchased oxen, had to go prove them. All of these kind of foolish things as the Bible gave it to show how foolish it was in the sight of God. And they said, We cannot come. Therefore the king was angry that he'd prepared the meal. He said, Go out in the highways and the hedges and bring in the crippled and the halt and the blind. That is, let's have a divine deliverance ministry. Let's have a healing. Let's go to the sick and let's go to the poor. Let's go to the needy and I'll gather them in and I'll take them into my supper. And I'll translate them into My kingdom, Jesus was saying. And all the others that I gave an invitation to, I'll burn their cities with fire. I'll let the bombs come. I'll let the devastation come. I'll let the problems come. See? And I'll let all these things come because they didn't have time for me. I won't have time for them. They resisted me, I'll resist them. You draw nigh to me. I'll draw nigh to you. And so then, My supper shall be filled. My supper shall be plenished. So then, we see that the book will be opened. That is, it will be made an expose in the days of the Jews, as to the coming of the judgment. When does this happen? What does this have to do with? And it says the great day of his wrath is come and who shall be able to stand? And as He sat upon the mount talking to the disciples He said, Now, according to a certain day, He said, and it shall come to pass as thus and thus, and He told all about it. And then you run over to the book of Revelation and you look and you think, My God! what He's saying is the same thing that's happening right here the book of Revelation in the sixth seal. For it said all of a sudden there was an earthquake and the sun became as black as sackcloth of hair and the moon became as blood and the stars fell from heaven as a fig tree being shaken as an untimely tree casting it's fruit by a mighty wind. Being shaken the stars came down. All of this happens right at the beginning of Daniel's last week. It's the first of the week that this thing takes place. We're right now at the end of the church ages. The church ages are coming to an end. The Laodicean church age is upon us and we're right down at the end of it, it appears right now. The governments are all in a turmoil around the world. Nothing but devastation. Wicked men growing worse and worse. Perilous times already set in. The beginning of sorrows already here. The great day of the hour of temptation is already here. And the Bible said in that time there will be a great falling away before the man of perdition be revealed. So then, right there at the beginning of the week, the great day of His wrath is come and who shall be able to stand. And the rich men and the great men and the captains and all the men and people of the world ran for the mountains and cried for the mountains to fall upon them, looking for the caves, seeking a hiding place saying, Fall upon us and hide us from the face of them that sitteth upon the throne for the great day of His wrath has come and who shall be able to stand. This Jesus spoke of as he sat upon the Mount of Olives and told the disciples these things. What is that? Referring back to Calvary again and there it is for the Bible says concerning Calvary, it speaks of it in Malachi, And behold, I send my messenger before my face and he shall prepare My way and the Lord of host whom ye seek he shall suddenly come into his temple. And Jesus was that great temple and ye are that great temple. And the great spirit has come into your temple, the second man, the Lord from heaven, even the inner man, he hath come into his temple and the Lord of host shall come into his temple. And the Bible said the day shall burn as an oven and it shall continue until ye tread the ashes of the wicked under your feet, God bringing in the great millennium as the restored earth that is to come before the great new earth comes, as to the translation, after a thousand years, as to the transfiguration of the new earth for that Celestial world. So then, I will restore, saith the Lord, that which the cankerworm got and the caterpillar has got and the years the locust has consumed, speaking of the intellectuals that have devoured through their religious fervor and their ego in this world. I will restore that for thou art a worm, Jacob, He said, for I have placed the serpent upon his belly and all of his labor is for his belly because his mouth craves it of him and his belly craves it of him. And under his tongue is the poison of asps and in his tongue is deceit and his feet are swift to shed blood and the ways of peace he's never known. Destruction and misery is before him. The Bible speaks of this as being the old serpent, as to the generation of vipers that's on their belly and the love of the world in them and the love of the Father not in them at all. And so then, looking at this book, looking at this great wrath of God, looking at the thing, as to when God overthrows the serpent again we see Calvary and the same serpent that was lifted up in the wilderness to show an end of the biting of the fiery serpents that bit Israel, here we see Jesus lifted up as that serpent coming in the form of sin, or likeness of the sinful generation, being made sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ. Or Him being made our sin God hung Him up at Calvary and He smote Him with all of His fury so that He could eradicate and end the serpent and the powers of Lucifer. And we see the fulfillment of the Scripture where it said, And the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent. And we see the Christ which was the seed of the woman that came in and that wonderful Christ that lived so holy and so pure, so mighty and so great, that opened the blind eyes, that unstopped the deaf ears and that spiritual One, the second man Adam. We see Him as He lived the perfect life and then stepped down to become sin, being made in the likeness of sinful flesh to show the serpent. And we see the Christ of the woman that came to the womb of the woman. We see the Christ. We see the Lord lift up the body of that One that had been made sin and lift It up and nail it to Calvary and bruise it's head with the thorns to make an end of sin and die out of the presence of the Father as He cried, My God! My God! why hast thou forsaken me? Knowing that God forsook Him when He had no sins. Forsook Him because He took my sins and sin had to be paid for. And knowing that as Paul said, the sentence of death that was in the flesh that I could not get rid of, that had wrought all matter of concupiscence within me, that that which I could not perform now He hath performed it in my behalf that I might have Him, as I brought out in the message this morning, Him being my performance at the right hand of the heavenly Father. Then all of a sudden I see Him become my sin. Once He completes His course and steps between those covering cherubs to reveal again, again as we said this morning, the tree of life, walking past the law and the prophets. Moses and Elijah, those covering cherubs going in to the tree of life and making the way for the church, even His body, which ye are members in particular. All of a sudden He steps down and goes into darkness to become our sins and to be smitten. And the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness and thus the brazen serpent that sin could not penetrate, or the vipers, or the evil fallen ones, or fallen angles would not penetrate. And as it was with Paul, being the Christ, when he walked over to the fire and the viper bit him and they thought he would die and he shook it off into the fire, and saying unto them that follow, though you take up serpents they shall not harm you. You tread upon serpents they shall not harm you. If you drink anything deadly it shall not harm you. And these signs shall follow them that believe. All of these things showing us that God had become the conqueror through the body of the Lord Jesus and there we see this great wonderful thing. We brought it out in detail on the tape this morning concerning Jesus going into the heart of the earth for the souls that were in prison. And here we are tonight speaking of the book. So he took the book and on the backside being sealed with seven seals, he loosed those seals. And we see down at the sixth seal the day of His wrath had come. It indicated that the day of His wrath had come. Now, when we look at this book and we see this book then we know that those whose names that are not written in the book, the lamb's book of life, then they don't have eternal life. If you're not found as a record by foreknowledge then you don't belong to God, as to eternal life. When it comes to the books, which books ye are, then you are open individually. That is to say, your veil is also rent in twain for you are body and spirit, even as He was, both Lord and Christ He was made. And the separation of the Lord and the Christ, as to the body and the spirit. And the Lord died for our sins to do away with Satan and defeat Satan and now then you are in that same death chamber. Your body is thus being put down and it's a time of self denial and you're doing away with your fashions of this world for the Bible said the fashions of this world shall pass away. And you don't conform to the things of this world but you come out from the world to be a separate people, to touch not those unclean things that God might receive you and to touch not, taste not and handle not that whereby the soul is to perish after the using of the commandments and doctrines of men. Nor do you bid them Godspeed or receive them into your home. And so then, we be not partakers of their evil because we do not entertain them. Two cannot walk together lest they be agreed. We come out of the world. We separate ourselves as a people of God. That is, to that (?) of the thing whereof Christ says in Paul, I travailed until I be formed within you. Or Paul said, I travail until Christ be formed within you, as to the conception of this divine seed, or that wonderful Word. As it was in Mary's womb so it is in our heart to bring forth this wonderful God child through the virginity of those ten wise virgins of which we have spoken of on tape in detailing this and bringing out who they are and what they are and how they came to be virgins and how that five lost their virginity and five retained their virginity. So then, we see this and we see the books being opened. And when your veil is rent in twain, then as Paul said, Oh, wretched man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death. Inwardly I desire the things of God and to do good. Outwardly I see another law warring against the law of my mind, as in my members. I see this evil thing for when I would do good I find a law that evil is present with me and a continual warfare. Who shall deliver me from the body of this death for the day thou eatest thereof thou shall surely die, the Lord has said to Adam. Being born of the first man Adam, as to the body, the sentence of death being there, thus it's appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. And everyone is on death row until they meet the Lord to get eternal life. So then, we see here in this that our veil is rent in twain and now our body is separated from our spirit and our body is now dead by the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is now buried within a watery grave in the name of the Lord Jesus and thus everyone that's been baptized into Christ has put on Christ now it's not us living but Christ living and we are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh and old things have passed away and there is no more remembrance of former things of our life and God never sees us a the first man again, that which is unbecoming to Him as the bastard child image through the fall of the beast but He sees us now as His own blessed body, as His own bone, as His own flesh. He sees us in a completion for we are complete in Christ. And He sees us at His right hand. He sees our performance, that we fail to perform, we see completed in Christ at His right hand. And now, through that He has made us to set in the heavenly places. And now, as we brought this out this morning, you're also those that can rejoice forever more, ye that dwell in heaven. And when we look at this we realize great is the mystery of godliness for God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles and then caught up into heaven. So then, we see that God has brought all of these things for us, crucified us by the body of Jesus Christ, now resurrected us by the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, buried us in His death by the body of the Lord Jesus Christ through baptism in the name and now we are in another world and the old world has passed away. Peter saying ye are the people upon whom the ends of the world has come. And even as the old world passed away with water so the next world passed away with blood. And now you are on this side because you are spiritual beings and the world, that is of today, that is a blood world got no farther than Calvary and the judgments is upon it and the declarations of the judgment's are upon it and the book was opened. And whosoever names were found written in the Lamb's book of life when the veil was rent in twain and the book was opened, then that's what it is today. For lo, I come in the volume of the book, as it is written of Me, O God, to do Thy will. And thus God being the Word, or God being made the Word, the Word being made flesh, we see that Christ made in Himself twain and the veil of the temple was rent in twain. And when those natural people looked at a natural temple to see the rending of the natural veil, or the natural temple they were not spiritual. And they did not realize that when Jesus said destroy this temple and I'll raise it up in three days they did not realize He spoke of His body, that He was the true temple of God and God has given himself to Christ without measure and the fullness of God dwelt within the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. But, anyway, we see the resurrection. Being buried with Him in baptism we thus live with Him through the resurrection, and found in His likeness in the resurrection, Paul said. So today we are a new creature. We are in a new world. Old things have passed away and behold, all things have become new. You are now the beloved children of God. Walk circumspectively, have the nature of Christ and let this nature with you, let it speak, let it act, let it do as it was in the days of Christ, having a will have a performance. Therefore, if we have the nature of that new one, even the second man Adam, the quickening spirit, so then are we made quickening spirits and we're brought from the realms of the living soul. Therefore, we cannot die because we are sealed in by the Spirit of God and our soul sealed forever, that we've passed from death unto life and shall never come into condemnation. For the Bible said there is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who walked not after the flesh but after the spirit. So then, we that have been born of the Spirit we can't walk after the flesh because we walk after the Spirit because our body is dead by the body of the Lord Jesus and David of old in his prophetical utterance saw this long before it came to pass and said, Blessed is the man unto whom God will not impute sin. And blessed is the man unto whom God imputed faith for righteousness, even the faith of Jesus Christ which is the righteousness of God by which we are sanctified. The offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ has sanctified us once and for all and the Bible teaches them that He foreknew He also did predestinate to be justified, to be sanctified, He hath also glorified them. And what can we say? If God be for us then who can be against us, or who can lay anything to the charge of God's elect. So, we can see that by this we are the books to be opened, as to the rent veil, just as His veil was rent. Now. They rent that veil by pouncing on Him, from the top to the bottom they rent it with the nails in the hands. They rent it with these, as to thorns into His brow and with the spear in His side. And with these as to stripes that plowed His back like a field. Cast not thy pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn and rend you. And this veil was thus divided in twain as to the body from the spirit and the body was laid down in the grave, the soul went into hell. And the Bible said God suffered not His Holy One's soul to remain in hell but went into hell for our sake. And once it passed through it was fulfilled when her said, And upon this rock, speaking of Jesus Christ, I build My church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And today you have the blessing that the gates of hell cannot prevail against you. You have overcome hell. You've overcome death. Not only that but you've overcome the grave for Paul said, Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep. It's not God's plan for you to die. But we shall not all sleep. You cannot die; you've passed from death unto life. For death is the separation of your spirit from God's Spirit. But you can have the separation of your spirit from your body; God's spirit interwoven with your spirit to never leave your spirit. See? That is sleep. And when we say these things then that means that you are an open book and you judge the world. Know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? So the world should be judged by those things that are written within you. That is, in as-much-as you did it unto to the least of these you've done it unto Me. In that you fail to do it to the least of these, as to good, you've failed to do it unto Me. And in that day then we'll stand there and God will judge the world by what they've done unto you and me according to that that's in the memory bank of God, as to remembering the days when we were persecuted and taken advantage of for they who have lived godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. For the world hates you because you're not of the world. If you are of the world the world loveth it's own. So then, we see this and we realize that even as the Jews have been mistreated down through the years and someday will be the head of the nations and all of the nations must come before them to be judged, that they'll be judged accordingly as to the ways they mistreated the Jews while they were out of their homeland and wandering around, for then it won't be America, as to the head of the nation but it will be the Jews. And there won't be anybody over the Jews. All nations will be under them and the only ones that will rule and reign over the Jews will be the Christians, as to the sonship, as to the sons of God and those that are sitting upon the throne as the twelve spiritual sons and the Son of God, Himself, as to the spiritual Son. So we see this great book and this book was opened. Much we could say about the seals. And we have said a few little things thus, here and there, about the seals but just sticking with these one or two things, or staying with these few things here as to expound the opening of the book, we see the book open. Thus the book is open. Now, within this there is a mystery. This mystery within the book is given to you to understand but it's not given unto the world to understand. Peter looked beyond the veil. Jesus said, Who do men say that I am? And one said as to this and another said as to that, as to the prophet or whatever. He said, But who do you say that I am? Peter said, Thou art the Son of the living God, the Christ. He said, Peter, that's a revelation. That's a spiritual revelation. That is, flesh and blood didn't give you that. Diplomacies didn't give you that. The world of academics and the world of technology didn't give you that, He could have said. In our day it's the same. See? He said, But you've looked beyond the veil. Peter, you've rent the veil. You've looked beyond the veil, now it's an open door. I give unto you the keys, open it both to the Jews and to the Gentiles. But now the veil is rent; the door is open and now you've seeing beyond the veil and seeing that I'm the Christ. And now that the Christ has come into the world I go to Calvary now to rend this veil to bring this to pass, even the open door that Peter opened at Calvary and that extended through the church ages, down to the end of the church ages where John looks and sees the seven candlesticks and Jesus standing in the midst and where suddenly the door is opened up into heaven and John goes in through that door. Being that of love as to the bond of charity or the bond of perfection, showing the church going out at the time of the tribulation coming in. The tribulation to us called the last week of Daniel, but to the book it is written, or given as a title, The Revelation of Jesus Christ. So then, we see that the book was opened. And we see the books were opened. And, folks, if we went into it spiritually tonight We did the other night go into a few spiritual things, as to the change, how that it is changing from grace to judgment and brought it out in detail on tape. I forget what Brother Cartrette called that. But, anyway, it is a change and we kind of detailed it, took our time, maybe a couple of hours ministering. Not meaning to go that long and wasn't aware of it. But, anyway, as to bring out some of the things to show how that it changes and that you're not aware of the change because your minds are caught away in the things of the world. But here we are. The book was opened and the books were opened and so then we see that we could go on and go on in this great wonderful mystery of God talking about these wonderful things of God and growing in the grace and knowledge for it's given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God but to the world it isn't given. All right. I'll ask them to come back to the musical instruments up here. I wasn't going to hold you long tonight. I don't know how long I've held you. I trust I haven't held you long. I appreciate your listening and your interest. It gives me a chance to come up here and say the few things that we have to say and not prolong it so that we can get this over to you and get it on film and get it on tape for others around the world and in to the booklets as it goes in to just about every major language of the world. We're asking you to work with us and help us and strengthen us because it is you that is hurling the gospel around the world to whatever measure we're able to take it to the people because of your patience and endurance in listening and concern and efforts. All right. Let's stand together if you will. I want to welcome you again to the church. We're planning to do some remodeling in the church. There's quit a bit of changes that are to be made and some remodeling. They had started and kind of backed off because a few other things were involved and they're kind of pressing the issue to get to this. And we trust that you will bear with us and work with us until we can kind of get this done. Help us get the gospel out. The time is near at hand. I remember the few words we said tonight concerning the book. The introduction was: for the great day of His wrath is at hand and is come, and who shall be able to stand. (Singing) Sing that with me. (Singing) The altars are open. (Singing. Begin tape two, side one. Singing) While we sing these little choruses it gives you opportunity to come and worship God and to search your hearts. The Bible said examine yourself and see if you be in the faith. Faith cometh by the hearing of the Word. In the later times they'll depart from the Word, or the Bible said the faith that's of the Word and they'll give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, having their conscience seared with a hot iron, getting past feeling, being able to do any thing, live any ole way. The real life of holiness will be gone. The Spirit of holiness will not be in their life. The Prince of holiness will not be in their life, neither will the end thereof be everlasting life. So then, search your hearts and see if you be in the Word. See is you have the faith of the Word. See if you believe the Word for to believe is to do for the writer said show me your faith without your works and I'll show you my faith with my works. And the child is known by his doings. So then, it is what a child does that proves what he is and it is what he does that proves his nature. And when you do the right thing thus you have the right nature. If you do worldly things then you have a worldly nature. If you go after the world then you have the love of the world and the love of the Father isn't in you. But if you love the things of God and you want to grow in the grace and spirit of God and you have your mind on world evangelism and helping the poor and the needy and giving your life a living sacrifice for God, which is your reasonable service, then you are children of God and you shall live forever. But if you go after money and businesses, all the things of the world it proves you love the world and that's where your mind is and that's what you reward is. And in the day of the judgment that is what you have. You don't have God. But when you follow God, God adds all things unto you and he gives you all things, for He said, I would above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers, but you never go after those things. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world for all that is of the world is the pride of life and the lust of the flesh. And the world and the lust thereof passes away but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. And when you go after the things of the world you've got your mind on the world. But if you'll go after God all of these things will be added unto you and He won't withhold anything from you naturally or physically or spiritually. He will give you the very best because he made it all for you. He just don't want you messing with those things that are of the curse. I said this a lot of times: You can have the carnal things. Paul said, If I;ve ministered unto you spiritual things shall I not reap of you carnal. If others are partakers of these, am I not the more. He said, But don't be carnally minded. Don't be carnally minded. You can have carnal things. You can use carnal things. A wise man's substance is precious in his sight. He won't misuse them; he won't abuse them. But the thing is you never bother to get your mind on those things. You always serve God with the mind and you take care of God's business. And you seek God first, and you seek the kingdom first and then all of these things are added. His blessings maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. He maketh thee to ride upon the high places of the earth. He feedeth thee with the heritage of Jacob. He makes you to be like a tree that's planted by the rivers of living water, to bring forth your fruit in your season, that your leaves should not wither and whatsoever you do shall prosper. And He said unto us if we'll confess our sins, and not only confess our sin but if we will forsake our sins then whatever we do would prosper. And this is of course what we want to do; to honor, to obey, to love the Lord. Let's sing this little chorus. We sing the little chorus, Jesus gave her water and it didn't come from the well. He met a woman at the well and she gave Him water from the well. Offered Him water from the well. And He said, I'll give you water. This water He spoke of in the Scriptures as being a well of water springing up within you into everlasting life. From out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. And said, Ye being wells of salvation, the deep calling unto the deep at the waterspout of God, whose waterspout you are, then this water you'll bring forth with joy. For the joy of the Lord is your strength. And He gave her some water. And we sing that little chorus so often, Jesus gave her water that wasn't from the well. (Singing) Can you sing it one more time. (Singing) Can you say amen? He gives us water and that water don't come from the well. Let's sing this little chorus, Brother Taylor. (Singing) Can you sing that with me? (Singing) Sing it again. (Singing) You know, this spirit that we spoke of this morning, this wonderful spirit, the dove like spirit. The Bible said, And upon whomsoever ye see this spirit coming and remaining upon him then that is He. That is He that shall baptize with the Holy Ghost and with fire. And this wonderful Holy Ghost of God, as He came down in the form of a dove, He came upon the Lord Jesus and John said, This is He. This is He of whom I'm not worthy to loose the shoe latches. This is He. I baptize you with water unto repentance but He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire for His fan is in His hand and He shall thoroughly purge His floor and gather His wheat into the garners. So then, the great day of the wrath being here then that means that the Lord is at hand. (Singing) Isn't that right? Christ is my everything and I'd rather have Him than all of the things of the world. The world is going after things but I'm going after life. You know, things are no good without life. You get life and you've got all things. You get things but you can loose life and then they are no good to you at all. So then, we need to go after the things of God. Let's sing this little chorus, everybody ought to know. If you believe in world evangelism then let's sing this little chorus together. (Singing) Let's just lift our hands together and close our eyes. It's our pleasure to be here with you tonight and say these few little things and sing a chorus or two. We could have held you a long time talking about the things of God but this morning you were real patient with me. We could hold you a long time tonight preaching and singing for a minister of God is filled with the great wonderful revelational truths of Christ. That is his life. But knowing that you have other things to do, being pressed with the necessities of life then we try to make an allowance, as to all the wisdom and understanding that we have, to work with you, not to pressure you nor to cause you problems. While you've got your hands up search your hearts and see if everything is well with you tonight. If all is well with you, as we sing another little chorus or to, to let you go. And while you've got your hands up let's sing this little chorus together that we sing so often. (Singing) Sing it with me, now. (Singing) One more time together. (Singing) Search your hearts now. (Singing)
