The World Of Words

...tonight because we were ministering right on until about six thirty and I just stepped over to the house for a few minutes and I had a few little things that we had to discuss with somebody and then hurried along to try to come on up to the church so that we could come and minister. And my life is a minister's life. Some people talk about ministering but my life is a minister's life all day long and all night long. And just continually I'm ministering at one time or another, or praying or trying to do something. And I love to do it because I love the Lord and I do it because of God. And I don't have any other reason to want to do it. He struck me down, turned me around, sent me on my way and taught me to minister the lovely word of God and to love the word of God and to love His people. And that's why that we preach and do what we do. You can be seated. Now tonight over in the book of John, the first chapter, I just want to use one little topic of thought here and that is, it's found there, "In the beginning." "In the beginning." Now the reason I do this is because I have been ministering, ministering right on up to about six thirty and we have been talking about some things in the last day or two, quite awhile now, about the coming of the Lord and the end of the world being here. We've been doing this for a little while. And off and on for a number years now we have been kind of leading up these subjects to talk about them because everything according to what we understood, as to the weigh points of life, was leading to the coming of the Lord. And we have said so many things to you about this and some of you have not been able to get a hold of it. Even now many of you cannot grasp this. You cannot understand it, but we still are saying many things concerning this, the little things here and there and you are beginning to get some bits and pieces of it. Your eyes are beginning to come open. Great is the mystery. Great is the mystery. You don't know unless you have come into the revelation of Jesus Christ how great the mystery is. It is so great. The mystery is so great that it swallows up heaven and earth. And it is so great that with all the scientific learning, as to all the many years of their study, as to the many thousands and hundreds of thousands of things that they study in searching out a species, or the constitution as to one thing or the composition, as to a body, or whatever it might be even down to the grains of sand and down into the earth, down through the mantle of the earth and into the heavens among the galaxies and the stars. And the revelation of Jesus Christ is so far greater that when they get through with all of that they have have barely scratched the service. So you can understand how great and mighty it is. And a lot of times I'm talking and I say, Well, you need to know hundreds of thousands things more than that and we do and I'd like to know them. I want to know them. I want to know. Somebody said, Well, Brother Pike, you know, isn't that a lot? Or could you ever learn that? Well, I think about it. Somebody would say, But do you really believe you could ever learn that, Brother Pike? I'm really not learning this. This is something that's revealed to me. And as to containing this in my little ole brain work, you know, it doesn't have to do with that. Christ Jesus within my heart is my memory bank and He knows all things because He's God. And He knows from everlasting to everlasting, and before the world was He is. So I don't have to learn what happened in the past, what is going to happen in the future, to try to figure it out, or what happens right now at the present. All I've got to do is believe and when I believe it's all there. Whenever I get ready I just open my mouth; it's all there. And the spirit of God searcheth out the things of God; yea the deep things. So we go out through the deep waters and God tells us all about these wonderful great mysteries of God. Thousands of thousands of things. And I'm not saying that we have to know all of that to know the revelation in the sense that there is an end to the things of God as to what He has set forth for us to understand, as to the translation of the church, but the mysteries of God shall be finished. And as concerning this then we know that we're going to comprehend the heights, the depths, the width and length, as to whatever measure we allow ourselves to comprehend in that we give ourself to that. It's like mass energy. If you're going to turn potential energy, as to mass energy, into kinetic energy you've got to mix the formula, go through the formula just right and mix the energy with that potentiality that you might turn it into a kinetic energy, which means a motion or a power. See? So we'd have to go through this and we'd have to understand that. And we have to understand, even as in school, that there is first power, second power, third power if we're coming to the revelation of knowing exactly what God is doing because all of those things are forerunners. All of those things are types and they have to come. There has to be a shadowy format of all things. There has to be a natural type of all things. We spoke of this the other night. We took our time and broke down just a few little things as to an allegoric approach as to a shadow. A type and a shadow of that that is to come as to what God has done before He presents the great spirit world, that for us to come into this that we have to have all of these things. Well, anyway, as I say so many times, I don't have time to do anything up here as to get into the revelation. I just__ Occasionally things will be right and the spirit will be right and we'll talk maybe a few minutes and out of that we'll get over a little bit of revelation. Now. The truth, before the living God I tell the truth. I lie not. My conscience would bear me witness in the Holy Ghost this is the truth. That to get the revelation over to you it would be like you would have to come in the morning time, say around eight o'clock, and then stay all day long. And you need to do that everyday. See? But even on Sunday, or through the week or whenever, take maybe five hours, three hours, and I know a lot of people say, Brother Pike, that's pathetic. But do you realize that people that work on the job for the wife and for the husband and for the children, whoever is working for the family that they work eight hours a day to feed that belly? and to look after the gullible desires of that which the human being wants? And you think that's normal. And you don't think that is an act of insanity. And you don't think that's being foolish. And they spend the rest of the time talking about the belly and the things that they've got and the things they want and all the things of the world. Why is it so incredible that we should think that this should be in reverse and that it should be about God and about heaven? and about the things of heaven? and the food of heaven? and feeding and drinking from heaven? and our conversation and desire in heaven all the time? And that if we ever speak of anything concerning the flesh we just back off and say, Lord, it's an error. I didn't mean to do that. Forgive me. Help me. Because all of that is vanity. All of that will pass away. All of the labor is for the belly because the belly craves it of you. See? So you are in reverse and yet it is because you are perverted. Through the fall man is perverted because he wasn't made that way. He wasn't made to be like that. See? And now he's in a condition of perversion because of his mind and this is where the problem is. So when we go to talk to you this is where we run into a problem. I try my best to approach it the best way that I know how to approach it to share with you on the basis of what I understand and try to do what little I can to perfect your faith because that's what the ministry is for. And it's very necessary that your faith be perfected. We wish this, even the perfection of the faith, as to the saints of God. God has set the minister there for the perfecting of the saints. And the Bible teaches that is the perfecting of the faith. Because the only thing that can save you, that can change you, the thing that can preserve you is faith. There is nothing else, not anything else, from everlasting to everlasting that's given that can do that. I know you say, Well, the Word does all of this, Brother Pike. And you're right. It does. But see? The only thing that contacts the Word to put that in motion in your life in the world of existence is faith. We understand that God framed the worlds by faith. He upholds all things by the Word through faith and all that He does is by His Word by the act of faith. He sent His Word and healed them. He cast out the unclean spirits by His Word. Through His Word He spoke everything into existence. There is nothing here that did not come by means of the Word. And today we were just speaking just a little bit concerning a word. Not THE WORD, a word. But if we go back as THE WORD, in the beginning. In the beginning was THE WORD and right there is a world filled, not just a statement. Somebody said, Well, that's a great exaggeration and, Brother Pike, you say that and that's a good expression and we accept it. But that's not what it is. See? You just don't understand. It is exactly like I say. It is a world. A world. That one word. That one word is a world. A world and worlds, in the plural; that one word. See? And somebody says, Well, I don't get that. Well, I understand that you don't understand but nevertheless the Bible said God wants us to understand. And what keeps us from understanding? The Bible said this that is within you, even the ignorance that is within you. Paul said, I would not have you ignorant. The ignorance and the blindness of heart of that ignorance that is within you it robs you of this wonderful understanding of God. Somebody would say, Well, what is this understanding of God? It is the mind of God. It is the understanding. It is the understanding of Almighty God. Someone would say, Well, going to college and all these things haven't we come into that? No, we've never even infringed upon it. We've never even scratched the surface to it. With all of our learning we've never done it. It's higher above our thinking than the heavens is the earth. It cannot be learned. You cannot search it out. There is no way you can find it. You cannot fast. You cannot pray. You cannot repent. You cannot give. You cannot be religious. You cannot go to church. Anything you do you cannot do it and come unto this Word. It has to be revealed to you. Oh, I know that goes over a lot of folk's heads. They say, Well, I don't see that. I don't believe that. But both hands be raised to heaven. So help me God, that is absolutely the truth to a tee with no exaggerations whatsoever. Not making a lot of sayings of words as to etc, whatever. It's not that at all. I'm telling you facts, profound facts to the tee. See? To the letter, to the hairline. This is the way it is. The only problem we have is this frustration of this conglomeration of what we understand to be sanity and civilization and what we understand to be life, and the communication of life. See? But, anyway, it's like I was saying to a few of the Brethren last night along this line. And I'm always so reluctant to get started into something because it's like the forty-five minutes that I have, or whatever it would be, thirty minutes or if I'm late, you know, maybe not that much. And sometimes infringing upon things maybe an hour or an hour and twenty minutes. Which does pretty fair. But I'm reluctant because I cannot hardly even get started with a few spiritual expressions in that period of time. So it makes it so difficult and an impossibility to really minister to you like that. Then a gain I say once more to you that we have all levels of life here in the church. People come with all kind of thoughts and all kinds of worlds, as to thoughts, because minds are worlds and each one has got their own idea and their own feeling and I feel them. You think I don't know about it but I can feel them. I can feel their spirit. I can feel exactly where it goes, what happens, the very feeling of it, the expression of it, the way it effects. See? Like when I turn. I turned this way and I felt something from a woman over here just that quick. See? It wasn't no ugly thing to try to do whatever, but because of a carnality of hers it just shooish. Like that. And as this evening there was a number of spirits we were feeling as we were talking to different people. Now. If I spent my time in discernment just going by spirits, and whatever, how many people would I have to deal with tonight? I could preach a sermon, tell a Bible story, I could work the organ up, I could get to singing, work the people up, clap their hands, have a jubilee and in a minute do some discerning and man! we would have ourself a service. But, folks, when we got through with that, though that is the move of God, as to discern those things, what would we know about God, and what would we know about the spirit. The Bible said we are suppose to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of God. And what is that going to do to translate the church? Or bring them into the place that we're headed for? How is that ever going to take them Egypt into Canaan? Do you understand what I'm saying? That's why that I try to stick, principally, to the Word and these things trying to get over to you. I could pray for the sick and pray for the sick and there would be things that would happen. God would do things. If I practiced that__ Like Oral Roberts said one time, I've related this to you before. I believe in the law of averages and if I pray for enough people something is going to happen to somebody. Because this is the day of grace and the Spirit of God is poured out upon all flesh. He's above you, in you and through you. Naturally you're going to keep on stirring somebody until something happens and all of a sudden there it's going to be. Like he made the statement one night, said, I prayed for so many people and I couldn't get nothing to happen and he said, I said, I know if I keep praying I'm bound to strike something somewhere. And said after awhile he did and then thing broke. But see? That's not what we're here for either. That's not what we're here for. Even though this comes to my mind while we're talking that's great. That's wonderful because these signs do follow people and it does follow them that believe. And I hadn't thought about it until I just said that then but it just came to my mind, we just a woman to call in. A Mrs. Sandra. I never met her. She's a cousin. Sister Betty's fifth cousin or something. And Betty, I don't whether she's ever met her. I don't think she has. But, anyway, I never met her. And she's had some kind of dream about going to Jerusalem and in going to Jerusalem she was healed in Jerusalem, in that she had cancer. And when I was home yesterday talking to Betty a little bit and the telephone rang and a call came in. This woman had had communication with Betty's sister Brenda, Brenda having been blessed of the Lord, and she said, What you need to do is call up there to get prayer. Or contact them people there for prayer. Which she proceeded to do, maybe in a letter or whatever, or either it was conveyed on over to Betty through Brenda. I don't know how it was but I prayed for the woman and I told Betty, I said, What it is Betty, I said, the Lord is showing her Jerusalem which is Bethlehem. The Bible said the true Israelite is, of course, the spiritual one, that the true Israelite, the true Jew. And I said if she makes the contact here, like in the days of Solomon and everyone that looked toward the temple was healed. And I said the woman will be healed. So then, sure enough she did. She made the contact and when she did, she called yesterday and she was just filled with joy because her healing was taking place. She said, I've been going to the doctors for months and said, I never had any change. And she was so depressed, as to going. The thing was just going death, death, death. And finally when she went after this prayer she told the nurse, she said, It's just got to be different. It's just got to be different. It's got to be different. And sure enough when the nurse said, real excited like, It is different and the thing has started on the decline and started to healing. Said, she couldn't help but just grab the nurse. She grabbed the nurse and began to hug the nurse and she called Betty and said, You've just got to rejoice with me. She said, I've just got to tell you. And of course, when we prayed for her over the phone she was in tears. And I only said that to say this as a substantiation, that it is true that all these things are wonderful but we've got to get in the Word. Folks, the end of the world is here. The translation is taking place and we have got to get into the Word. The most beautiful, the most wonderful, the most lovely thing there is is the Word because the Word is God and He is everything. He's my everything. He's my all. So then, we get into the Word. And so when I come here I want to do that but because of the levels of different ones, because of these needing milk and these over here they've just barely got their eyes open and they have to be cared for. And then there's others that want meat over here and then altogether it's just__ And then you've got natural babes as well as spiritual babes. And you've got women that are natural women as well as feminine people that are not really masculine even though they are men in appearance they are feminine. And then you've got masculine, you know, both ways. And you're trying to work with everything that you can in every way and that makes it just about impossible. And about the time that you do coordinate people to get them into one mind and God does begin to speak, then about that time somebody comes in, somebody goes out, somebody gets up or things get all fuddled up out there, or whatever. Something will happen. And then, just as you're getting down to the real thing, as to the basics, time. And people begin to drop out on you, drop out on you. Spiritually go to sleep or they get hungry, or they want to go home, or they think it's long enough and whatever, and swoop! the carnal mind enmity with God stops just like that. Somebody would say, Well, I don't believe that. Well, it does. See? Now I've only exhorted you just a little, tiny bit here and look at the time it's took. And I haven't even got started yet. See? So what is it? It's like somebody was telling me today. They said, Brother Pike, I'm so sorry. Said, I've been the kind of person that always something important, something important, and I just run in and out, or leave, and said, Now, I'm so sorry of it. And I said, Well, the Lord forgives. And He does. And when you come here like you do He forgives. You know, but the thing is, the detriment of it is, as I told this brother, I said, You missed it. All of those times you missed it. That's the detriment. And I said, You can never go regain it, never. And I said, And that much of the treasure of God and mind of God you missed. Every time I come here filled up and overflowing with this wonderful thing of God and you didn't get into the stream you missed it. You missed that much. See? Well, that doesn't mean anything to some folks and the reason is because some folks they don't understand. They don't know. And you know, what you don't see, what you don't know you never really miss because you don't understand it. That is to miss it as to being sorry that you didn't get it. So you missed it as far as being partakers of it. Any way, some of them that's going on with God, that's getting a few things here and there you can talk to them and they'll tell you it's real. Some are already hating themselves because of what they missed. Now we've been talking about some things, especially last night and a little bit today, that's got some of them that's able to see really stirred up. They're really stirred up because in these few little bits and pieces they're beginning to realize that God Almighty from heaven is actually visiting them and talking with them. And that irregardless to all the resentment, all of the discrepancies, all of the fault finding, or whatever, that the Gentiles are getting a visitation, and that here at Little Bethlehem there is even a visitation to the people of Little Bethlehem. And that things are closing out, that it is the end of the world and it is different from what they thought it was and it's altogether different from what some of them thought it was. But it is happening the same way that we said. Well, here we are again, in the beginning. So far I have felt anything take much to where I can find the Spirit. Or that is to say that the Spirit of God can find a spirit, as to come in to where He can He can start talking. So during that time I talked to you then I wind up preaching to you. I wind up saying things to you. Still God inspired. God above us, in us and through us. But as to when He contacts a spirit that believes, as to hunger and thirst, it's like a gift that works. When it starts, somebody starts believing then the contact is made. And then another and another is inspired as things begin to happen and after awhile we get an audience. Then somebody says, Well, don't you have an audience, Brother Pike? I have an audience as to natural minds. I have an audience as to natural human bodies. But see? That has nothing to do with it. I need an audience that is a spiritual people with spiritual thoughts and hunger and thirst. And that thing of interest that comes to God's house with thanksgiving and with praise, entering into His gates and His courts with praise and thanksgiving and that's got into the spirit that's not in the natural mind. See? I'm exhorting you and kind of preaching to you a little bit and by the time I get around to where we could get into the spirit it would be too late, the way it's going. It usually always is. So then, when I talk to you like this to try to correlate to get you into the spirit__ Let me remind you of something. You are, within your body, just like Siamese twins. Like that as to the rending the other day and one of them had to die, yield up life that the other one might have life. See? And because of that than that means there is a parasite part of you and Jesus died at Calvary to kill that parasite part of you. And the parasite part of you is that visible part that you love so much that you pamper it's face so much, and buy clothes for and shoes, and just love it and just revel around with it, and passions and eating and drinking and buying and selling and whatever. See? That's the parasite part and that's the perverted one with all the thinking and with all the reasoning, with all the zip and with all the zeal as to whatever you do in the world and he, or she, has to pass away. God doesn't want it. He hates it. He hates the image. He has killed it at Calvary and unless you follow through as to with the Christ to completely put your foot on it's head and stamp out every thought of that parasite that it be dead, in that God has killed it, not to let it have any part in your life, then that means you missed it. So then, we understand that this is why He died. This is why He made in Himself twain so that He could kill that one side, as that that decreases while the other increases. And when you say this, as to twain, you're saying the inner man and the outer man. And the outer man is the one that you just play around with so much and he is the culprit. And he is the one that has to die. And he is the one that has to come up missing. And the inner man, the invisible one that you cannot see, you don't place any emphasis upon that as to anything that's necessitated toward him or life because you don't understand. But, nevertheless, you do understand as to your intellectual reasoning in full strength in that parasite, that outer one, the image of the devil that has to be destroyed. That's where your problem is. And that means that you are in prison. You are imprisoned to that beast in that creature, because that's what he is. He came from Adam. He was born of Adam and it was the beast nature that brought him about. And the reproduction was unto the end, as to Calvary, to be killed, the image that God hates. Well, when we go to preaching and tutoring and start instructing a little bit, see? we don't ever get around to the revelation to explain these things to where you can conceive of this wonderful understanding that shows that to be exactly that way and proves that to be exactly that way. So you live in the world of question and reasoning. And you're always reasoning in your mind because you don't come to those things so you look at me naturally, I look at you naturally, we communicate naturally so there is always the natural reasoning. Well, is there anything thing? What is he talking about? I don't understand what he said and beside that this doesn't add up to me. And on and on we go. So, the final results or the final analysis of that, it means that you are the beast. And it means that you are lost with the exception that there are babes that have come in and they are just now getting around to understanding a little or just hasn't got to the place to where they can conceive yet of this wonderful thing that we're speaking of. And so then, God just gives them a little bit of the milk of the Word. But, folks, remember, you're not important. I'm not important. He's important. Do you love the Lord? He is important. And until we can come to that place then that means that every time you consider yourself important, every time you consider yourself to be something, every time you consider your body and your face and your feelings and your passions and your appetite, and every time you consider your cause and your way of life, as even to confront somebody or have a little cross with somebody, then that is the devil. Because he is that that savors the things of the flesh. He's always making the provisions and the Bible said make no provisions for the flesh to fulfill the lust thereof. The lust, I say, is desire swelled out of proportion. So when we see this where are we? What have we done? What is the church world doing? All of the indoctrinations, or religious things, as to claim the grace of God, which you do have even now, as to the blood of Jesus on the Seat of Atonement, and grace on everybody, including the devil himself, in this sense, that he is hid away in your body. And that measure of grace that's given to you as through a dispensational time of the Gentiles until the church can get perfected, that dispensational period where they turn the grace of God into lasciviousness by lavishly doing their evil, the devil himself is enjoying it through the individual that is not yet come to the knowledge of the truth and will remain that way until the day that that individual comes to the knowledge of the truth and God cuts it off and takes the grace away by taking the blood off of the Seat of Atonement. So that is__ Of course, that takes a lot of explaining and some of you are familiar with it. So, what am I saying? I am saying that is why I like to stay with the Word. That's why I like to talk about the Word. And that's why I like to confront you because you're going to stand at the judgment. And already, beloved friend, you don't realize that you are standing before the judgment. You don't realize that. But, nevertheless, this is the way that we have to bring it to you, to try to explain so that you don't get alarmed over something you don't understand and make your faith shipwrecked. So, I say again, as to one little thought here, coming back to the originality of our introduction, in the beginning. We'll just kind of talk a little bit there. And there might be one or two little things that might come out that might be of interest to you that you can feed on, or think on or enlarge upon. See? In the beginning. I promised the Brethren tonight that if I could I would continue to talk just a little bit because we started this with the Brethren and time ran out down there. And having started with the Brethren then they had gotten interested because some things began to be revealed and they were wanting to go on with it. And, of course, there was a lot of interruptions, different ones coming in, different ones coming in at different times. And, of course, sometimes one will come in and go straight back out and that interrupts and insults the Spirit of God while He's talking unless it is just one on a childish level. And of course, that is a spirit to interrupt. That's why that it was like. And I said, Well, tonight maybe. And I can see that's what it is: maybe. But I'm going to say one or two little things. All ready we've probably done took at least half of our time of the sermonette and if we get in even a thought here we'll be doing real good, especially being a little bit late. (Begin tape one, side two.)..a little bit late to give you time, most of the time to give you time to where you can shout, sing, do whatever you want to to kind of get your hearts prepared a little if you do sing in the spirit to where when the Spirit of God comes I won't have to go through all of this, as to carnality. But if the singing is just like routine, as to whatever, then I come here and I find you carnal, though you're precious, though you clap for me, though you receive me and you're very courteous toward me but still just as natural and carnal as can be and the Spirit of God can't get to your spirit. And so then, there's no way He can talk with you. So all I can do is just bring a little bit of the milk of the Word, or a little bit of exhortation, maybe preach or reprove a little bit and help you to shape up a little bit toward holiness, or whatever these things might be. But, beloved, there is a world of difference as to that and God Himself speaking directly to your spirit, a world of difference. So, we say in the beginning. In the beginning. As I was saying to the Brethren, In the beginning. In the beginning what? In the beginning God. And I want to explain this to you now. Just kind of break it down. I may not get to say but a very few things that will be very elementary to some of you that's heard a little more. And some of you that have never come this far it will be great to you. But it will just be kind of like a forerunner like it was the other night when we were talking about the format that comes before that that God is going to do. Which we only scratched the surface just a little bit there and never did get to enlarge on that. It would take days just to say anything much about that for you to even understand what we were saying. But in the beginning God. In the beginning God. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word came forth, put on flesh, dwelt among us and we beheld that body, that human body of that of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Now, I want to say this again. Jesus was not born of the will of men. It was not human ego, nor human reproduction. It was not the exhilaration of human senses. It was not out of passion and these kind of things. He didn't come that way by means of the stem, nor as of the matrix, if you use the terms of back to the beast and the tree. See? He didn't come like that. The exhilaration, the stimulation, the quickening. This quickening, as we would say, as to the cosmic energy quickening, He never came from that, as to that of the loins and the vagina. He came directly from God. And to substantiate that when He started to leave He said, I come from heaven; I go back to heaven. He said, You came from the dust; you go back to the dust. Or that is to say, you were born in Adam. All of you were born in Adam and Adam was made out of the dust. You belong to the dust. You come from the dust. You come through those transitional changes of human relation and you belong to the dust and you go back to the dust. I never had anything to do with that, not a thing to do with your blood stream, in that your life is in the blood. I don't have anything to do with that at all. I came from heaven and I go back to heaven because when the illumination, as to Mary, came it was as to the overshadowing of the illumination, even as Adam was illuminated in the beginning and that with the Shekinah glory of God to a divine conception by the stimulation that was a quickening, a God quickening. The Holy Spirit quickened. The Holy Spirit quickened as to the act of creation of a blood cell within the womb of Mary and it had nothing to do with feeling nor passion, nor nerves, nor sensation, or exhilaration, or anything else. It was a holy state of divine conception and it was light Itself coming forth, presenting Itself in the quickening form. Not as to a cosmic energy of a quickening from a vibration, or vibrations to stimulate, as it would be, the loins or anything else. So this came, and when this came it was the divine act of God. God is a quickening spirit. The last man Adam was made a quickening spirit. And so then, this came directly and then this wonderful, holy thing of God came and matured in the womb of Mary. As Paul said, I travailed until Christ be formed within you. If you are a virgin to God without spot, then you will received this virginity. You will receive this wonderful virtue, this virtue that heals people, that opens blind eyes, that unstops deaf ears. The problem with the church today, on a real elementary approach here, the trouble with the church today is not that they don't go to church and that they don't have great numbers and not that they don't give tithes and that they don't do a lot of religious ritualistics, or even pray, or even fast. But the problem is there is no virtue. There is hardly any virtue at all in the church. And yet we're commanded of God, if anything have any virtue in them think on these. And we're told that the five virgins, as to the five virgins that was wise was the ones that had the oil, and five were foolish, that all of them were virgins, as to religiously set aside for the purpose of God. So we're told that the tables of God are filled with vomit because people are non-virtuous. See? And we're told that they are neither hot nor cold. As to being cold, as not to know the grace prevails or being hot the Spirit of God blesses them in the fervency of the Spirit with all preservation unto an eternal source. But being lukewarm He spews them out of His mouth. So then, we know for sure. Know for sure, as to the Laodicean church age of our day as to the condition of it. We see then that there is a problem. Where is the virtue? Where is the miracles? If God be with us then, Gideon said, where are the miracles? Because when the angel said, Oh, God is with you. He said, If God be with us where is the miracles? Because he knew that wherever God was there was miracles. Wherever God is there is healing. Wherever God is there is deliverance. Wherever God is all these great wonderful things take place. It's just a daily thing of the stride of the Spirit and the stride of mankind to receive healing, to receive joy unspeakable and full of glory. Why the depression? Why the famine? Why the problem? It's because of the baseness of mankind, trying to mix darkness with light. And trying to bring together these things of religion and these things of the world when darkness has no fellowship with light. And when you speak of the things of the world you're speaking of intellectual reasoning and going back to Lucifer that's called the Son of the Morning, which was nothing but a reflector which is the rule of the darkness, or that is the god of intellectual reasoning because intellectual reasoning is darkness. So when we go back to this we see that the church is playing a game and that the church is going through natural symbols and ritualistics. And no more than the Jews, see? And they are the same. And they've never got their eyes open. They've never had a real genuine born again experience as a whole. See? And the Holy Spirit, though He's there in mercy poured out upon them and there's prophesying and visions and different things at different times, depending on the gathering and the working up, as to a little bit of faith. But altogether, as a whole, they don't have the moving of the Spirit in them. You have a big mass meeting and somebody holds a divine healing meeting and we have all kind of rejoicing and shouting and praising and hollering and screaming and all kind of testimonies, but they've run it back and they've checked it out. I told them years ago. I said, Miracles are not happening like bunches in bananas. I said, Somebody is all out of their mind. They are all beside themselves. And they went back and checked it out and they found out when they re-run the films and a lot of the television shows that they didn't get healed. The things didn't happen, or the people didn't get what they were looking for, though a few of them did. They, as a whole, don't get healed. And they, as a whole, don't get miracles. And they, as a whole don't get the infilling of the Holy Ghost and they, as a whole, don't get salvation. So then, it's a very, very few, as to a minority, as to them people and yet they continue and thirty million and sixty million and a hundred million. And as it was with Falwell a few days ago, he was pulling, I believe, for forty million dollars. And using the boy that was crippled, as to try to get money for his college. Now. What am I saying? I'm saying to begin with, God condescends to men of low estate and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And the rich already have their reward. And see? What we need to do is come back to the old time Holy Ghost way of life. Because if Christ Jesus lives in you then you're going to be common. You're going to be down to earth. You're not going to seek after riches. You're going to seek after Christ because this is heavenly riches. That makes rich and adds no sorrow. And you're going to follow after the things that make for holiness. Holiness in body, in soul and in spirit. So, getting off on a little exhortation here then we turn back again as to say, And in the beginning. So we say, In the beginning. In the beginning was God, or in the beginning was the Word. Now in the beginning was the Word. And if I took just the Word word, if I used just the terms word and I took the word word just to use to approach that tonight it would be absolute astounding as to them that could conceive and understand what the Spirit would say. Somebody would say, But, Brother Pike, do you believe God is speaking to us? The Bible said, And they shall all be taught of God. All be taught of God and it shall not be the minister speaking but it shall be God. When I stumble and stagger that's me and that's because of interference, and whatever as to the tiredness of my mind, whatever it might be. See? And because I don't get your spirits to where I can take my time and just let the Spirit speak. See? And I'm searching and fighting and struggling among you just to get a little bit over to you here and a little bit over to you here. Like feeding babies baby food. So when we say in the beginning, in the beginning God, the Word. The Word. Now, I wish we had time to get into that. I keep backing off every time I get to that because I know that I won't even get started and it will be time to stop. See? But if we had time to get into that. The beginning God. Did God have a beginning? I'll say. Did God have a beginning? Or does God have a beginning? Is there a beginning with God? In the beginning. I remind you one more time of some things you're familiar with. Beginning means in the time of the creation, or act of God as to you and me, or when the world was created. That is the beginning. So let us say in the beginning. In the beginning when shadows fell and when shadows come. In the beginning when God looked and darkness was upon the face of the deep and at the time when God said let there be light and there was light. And when God divided the light from the darkness and when God said let there be a light in the heavens, a great light for the day. And let there be a light in the night, a lesser light to rule the night. See? And He divided the light from the darkness. And this has great revelation in it. Deep understanding in it. So when we look at that, I say again to you as I've said in the past, that when God came forth He looked at you and me and we were in darkness, intellectual ignorance. And we were void, void of understanding, as to anything concerning God or His power, His ability, any knowledge of God. They worshipped all kind of things, from stones to stars. And then we were without form for it was dark, void, without form and darkness upon the face of the deep. So when God came we had no form, as to the image of Jesus Christ, or the likeness of God. So I just applied that to bring you to a thought here that you might consider just a little bit. Now. If I say in the beginning and then I speak of the darkness and the light and then I speak of the shadows then I'm saying that time has come to be. Then I'm saying that now existence is. Whereas, before existence was not. But I'm saying now, And thus there is existence. Now the next thing is, if God is light, going back beyond the beginning, someone would again say, How can you go beyond the beginning, Brother Pike? Because there had to be a God to start a beginning and God hath no beginning and God hath no end. God is from everlasting to everlasting and before the world was He said I AM. So then, go back beyond the beginning. What was there before the beginning? It was there that we used the term, God dwelt. But then when we come to God, again I say, that we are taking an intellectual approach to God by terms of man. An intellectual terminology that says God. That is a man's application. But when we use the intellectual term God that's only a word. And when we use that then where is God? That still doesn't tell us anything. That doesn't bring us anywhere. That's just a word, that's all. God meaning object of worship. We're only giving a description of something to our understanding, as through our vocabulary, by means of communication to keep us in a way of being established, or keeping our balance, because we don't know anything else. So, we've got us a word and we say God but that doesn't tell us anything. But then when we look back beyond the beginning, what is the beginning? It's another word. What is in? It's another word. And we could go on and go on and it would get a little bit deep here for you if we did that. As a matter-of-fact, talking to some of them this evening just before we came here, some of them, as the Brother said, fell off of the wagon. They got lost about that time and we had to kind of stop off. But, anyway, as to try to give you some idea, before the beginning, as to the act of creation__ Let's say it like that. That will make you understand better as to a formulated thought pattern. See? Wasn't there angels? Wasn't there angels? Wasn't there such as Michael? Gabriel? Wasn't there such as Lucifer? Beelzebub? All of those; both good and bad angels? Wasn't they there? See? And then I say again as to angels, what are angels? Angels are quickening spirits. I make my angels spirits. And isn't that what it's all about? As to you within this little house of clay, what are you? Aren't you a quickening spirit? Now, on the inside. And didn't you emanate from God? And didn't angels emanate from God? And when we look back there aren't they lights? Lights. Or when we look at it the Day Star, the Day Star, isn't it a great fire? Doesn't it come down as to a heat? And then doesn't it come down as a light? And isn't God the great consuming fire as to the heat, and then to the light? Or isn't it that from that up there comes all forms of life and aren't we taught that the world would freeze over if the Day Star refused to shine? If the sun, which is called the Day Star, should go out that ice would cover the earth? Now. When we talk about these things and we go back beyond the beginning and we see, as it would be, life, now what is God doing? Is God a light? I just wish we had time to go through some of the allegories so we could give you the right kind of thought pattern. That way we could work our way back in and out to where you could stay with us and understand what we're saying. But if we try to by-pass the allegory then it's like trying to find the answer without a formula and then you get lost. So then, back before the beginning that's light. But then if I say to you on a real simple term here, I say, tell me something. If we're going to talk about this let's talk about the world. Don't we have to include the world? Because the beginning means the beginning of the creation, as to the world and all that's in the world. And yet the Bible said the world and all that's in the world is the lust of the flesh, the pride of life, the lust of the eyes. It's but vanity of vanities and all of them will pass away. And when we say vanity, I say again, as to a mirror, you're looking in there and you see that of you that is not there. And it's only there because there is a light, but if the light is turned out then that you is not there. So, when I say beyond the beginning and I talk about God then I say, Well, what is God? You say, Well, God is the object of worship. That is the terms that we use. We approach unto that. But, now if that doesn't tell us anything so I say, Well, that's great. God. You give me a word. You give me an expression. I've heard a vocal sound. Vibrations of your vocal cords here and air has caused a little wop, wop, wop, like that. Whether it be in Chinese, it would sound the way it sounds if I say God, but it would still be bla, bla, bla or something, as to German or whatever it might be. It would still be something, or whatever it might be but it would mean God. God. We all get together on agreement that it does mean God whatever the sound is. Translating and all the intermingling, but really it's nothing but a noise. It's just a disturbance of the little atomic particles in that God has created the spheres around you and they are composed of the little atomic particles and there is vibration in that. Like scientist say. Scientist make the statement that if a tree should fall and there is no ear there to record it then that means there is no sound. well, that's true, as to the approach as to where they are coming from but that's altogether wrong. It doesn't matter whether there is an ear to record it or not, God made the spheres and the spheres are a composition of those electronic parts and electronic flows. And with that that means that if anything moves it it is just whoosh, like that. It disturbed those parts and that is the same reason why we have the vibrations as you know that's called wave lengths in the air and all these other things, whether it be as to a picturesque, or that is, of vibrations as of sound, a vibration of what we call visional parts. See? And these things are transmitted as from one pick-up unit to another projecting unit all by a flow and they have to come together according to the mechanism that's able to be worked, whatever, to bring them into focus. And the same way as to seeing a vision. I can here, I can get a revelation, I can do what I want to. It's the same identical thing as seeing a vision because it is a vision, but my mechanism has to be so as to whatever, whether born to be a seer or whatever it is, as to my ability, as to the Word and discernment, to work the knobs, as we say, to bring this in as to those vibrations and make it a picture. Make it a picture. And I've been fortunate to have the experience of both. And many of you have, too. So__ You say, Well, I don't believe that. Well, the Bible your young men would see visions. So then, I'm saying that when we say recorded, the ear does record by vibration. It does record the vibration, and therefore that is sound because we go back to words. And when we go back to words we're using the word sound. So then, we have to say there is no sound, or there is a sound. Then we have to understand that what we're having reference to is a word. That sound has a descriptive projecting of the mind which is word form so we say word sound. The word sound. So if there is no word sound then there is no sound because that's what we're talking about as to the word sound. And if there isn't__ Somebody said, Well, that don't make no sense. It makes a lot of sense. See? I say the word light. If you don't use the word light then how are you going to know anything about light? And yet if I say the word light, then I say, But now, I said the word light but is that light? Oh, yes, somebody would say. I would say, Oh, no. But, Brother Pike, I very definitely heard you say the word light. That is light. I'd say, No, I said light, that is a word. That has nothing to do with light. That is only an intellectual approach to light. I would say darkness and I'd get the same respond. See? But that's only an intellectual approach unto darkness. Now, somebody would say, Well, my God! My God! What are you talking about? You know, you must be eccentric, or what is all this needful for of salvation? It's not needful. If you are ritualistic, if you are out there in formalities, if you are just going to church, as to sing and happy and praise the Lord and all, that's necessary. All these things are not necessary. See? That's true. But I'm talking about the translation of the church. I'm talking about the mysteries of God. I'm talking about what's going to make His Bride and what's going to take His Bride, and all these other things. If you just have the milk of the Word, if you don't understand that's all right. Don't let anybody beguile you from the simplicity which is in Christ to be born again. Just repent of your sins, be baptized in the lovely name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Which we could say a whole lot about that, even having said a little bit about it this evening. See? How wonderful it is just to know. But if it is a matter of the translation, as to the transformation of the mind, or going on to the full measure of the full stature as Paul speaking of the mysteries of the Bride of Christ, then it's a different approach altogether. The meat is for the strong, they who by reasoning exercise their senses to be able to discern between good and evil. That is to say, their thoughts being the means while accusing, or else excusing one another. And of course, we've done about run out of time here and I haven't even scratched the surface hardly. So what am I saying? I'm saying, in the beginning was the Word. In the beginning was the Word. Now if what I'm saying is so far out, and if what I'm saying is so unreal, or un-needful, why then does God use the terms, in the Beginning was the Word? I don't understand that naturally. I don't see nothing in that naturally. Why would He use such as would be ignorant expression? It's not ignorant at all. It's only ignorant to them that cannot understand. In the beginning was the Word. I say, So what, the Word. In the beginning was the Word. What do I know about that? I don't care anything about just in the beginning was the Word. But I do because I understand. So then, we're back to word again and in this particular instance THE WORD. THE WORD of God, or the word that is God. And someone said, But, Brother Pike, don't you know the Word is God? I say, Man, don't be funny. What do you mean? My God a word or the word my God? Wouldn't that be absurd? But it's not when you understand. And why did God use that approach? Because that's the way it is, folks. If you go back to the origin of it you'll find out what I'm telling you about people not understanding what the world is. I would say to you, and I would say, Now, folks, the world is a word. Oh, no, someone would say, oh, no. Oh, yes. The world is a word. Now we're really confused, somebody said. The world is a word. Well, I wish we had time to get into it. But nevertheless, someone would say, Well, here's the world. Here's a tree and here's a bird and here's a stump and here's a wall, here's the building, here's lights and here and on and on and on and here's bodies and here's animals and on and on and cars, automobiles, ships and planes. There's the world. I'd say, Well, (?). Can you deny that, Brother Pike? No, I can't deny that as to your concept of what the world is. See? Because that's all you know because you don't understand. But now on the other hand if I looked at it just a little bit different I'd say, Well, if that's true I'm am a Bible teacher. I must teach the Word. He that God sendeth will speak the Word and I'm right back to the Word. And I say, if this is true then I would ask you one question. Jesus was always asking them questions because they said thus and thus and thus in their human terminology, and I would ask you one question. Explain to me how that God took all the ships and all the planes and all the horses and all the cattle and all the desert and all the galaxies and all, everything and all of this, how He compacted that in such a way to put in down into my heart. Now, how are we going to answer then? And somebody would say, Well, my God! There must be more to the word thing that I thought. Do you mean the world is in a persons heart? That's what the Bible says. And he placed the world within their hearts. And then not only that, but if we went to the other side of the picture and we took a good look at the other side of the picture__ And we might not get to say many more things here. But we took another good look and I'd say, Well, folks, tell me about heaven. Heaven, gates of pearl, streets of gold, great and mighty things, Brother Pike, and on and on and on and on and on. And I'd say, Well, that's wonderful. That's wonderful. And I say, And that's heaven. Brother Pike, that is the heaven that God spoke of. That is the Kingdom of God. I'd say, Well then, tell me one thing. How did He take all of that, as to the gates of pearl and the streets of gold and all of them things and put it in my heart? And someone would say, Well, do you mean to tell me that that's in the heart? The Bible says that the Kingdom of God is within you. And it says, some trying to differentiate, Well, that don't mean heaven. But it also uses the term the Kingdom of Heaven within you. And it also uses the terms Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And it also uses the terms that the law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom has come. The kingdom is here. And the Kingdom of God has been preached and men press their way into it. Now, where are the streets of gold? Someone would say, Now, wait a minute, Brother Pike, wait a minute. This is confusing to me. No, it's not confusing. (Begin tape two, side one.) Paul didn't fill the city with confusion, though it was filled with confusion. But it was confusion of them that didn't understand, that fought Paul, that came against Paul. Because Paul had been caught up to the third heaven. He had the revelation. He understood. And then another thing. God__ If God is so great, as to the one sitting on the throne, and ABC, 123, God the Father, Holy Ghost, Son. See? Why is it? Why is it that if that be true that when we speak of God that He is spoken of as a spirit? And that God is in our heart? Is all three of them in our heart? How is it that God is in my heart when the Bible says when they wanted to build God a house He said, How can you build Me a house? as to Solomon and David. He said, The heavens of heavens can't contain Me. But see? Now, here I am and I'm saying that God is in me. Now what do we do about that? Somebody said, Well, there is a little tiny tab. A little tiny touch of God in You. A little tiny touch? How big is God? Where did God get His start? When was He born? How far reaching is He? Like I said to somebody the other night, I said, Now, explain something to me. If it be true, as to this approach__ We're still elementary in some things as to what we were going to say. But then I said, even as to my wife, I said, Betty, if you had a light, whether it be a flashlight or whether you had a big searchlight, as to the circumference of it. I could said, Betty, wait. 123, ABC. I'll show you. I'll show you my intellectual brilliance so I can get me a means of rules, in that we go by means of rules and regulations as to our means and measurements in the world for our stability of mind. They have to do that. That's where time comes in and the time pieces come in. Now I said, Let me show you. See? Betty, over here that light reaches you. Just like you're looking at it right here, audience; right here. I said, Now, it reaches over to where that darkness is and I said, You hold this over here now. And I hold it over here. Now, there it is, three feet, see? Ten feet. Two feet. Three inches. Now. We say God is light. I'd say, Now, there you are. But it's__ Sister Betty says, All right. And that is the extent and the circumference of light. Say, why sure. See? So she takes about two steps over here with here searchlight, or her flashlight or her lamp, or whatever she's got and all of a sudden now here it is over here. So now I've got to add some more to my ABC and 123. And I say, Well. Well. Well, maybe it is. Maybe I__ Maybe. And I'm all mixed up. And then she turns the searchlight on and it hits down the trail and goes down about a quarter of a mile and I say, Wait a minute now. Then I say, Well, now wait a minute. God is light. How far reaching is God? because we're using symbols to approach that, as to an allegoric approach as to human intelligence as to the only way that they can comprehend God, because our communication means and measurements is the same as angels because they don't have any. Because they don't have any bodies and they don't have any conformity as to natural image. Therefore, whatever it is according to this, as to light projecting, as to that which is human forms, that's what it is in heaven. Now, so then, I'd say, Well, the Bible said God came forth and everything was void and dark. And all of a sudden when it came forth He said let there be light and there was light. Then I said, How far reaching was that light, Betty, when He did that? Well, our little finite minds can bring it down to the earth. We know that the little ball here__ We're surprised that the earth is a little ball coming that far. But there is was. But if that's all, as to as far as it went, how is it that they go up into the heavens? How do they go up to the moon? See? And when the Day Star comes, as to shining, why does it reach to where we can't measure and we can't find the ends of it and we can't find the beginning of it. Why is that? Why is it that when they go out into space they can't find the heights of heaven and they can't find the depths of the deep and they can't find the ends of that as to, Paul said the width, the height, the depth, whatever. Extensively speaking why can't they find that? How far is heaven? Now. We say, Now, wait a minute; how far is heaven? See? How deep is this thing? Or how long has God been here? Where did He come from? I say, 123, ABC. I say a hundred years old, a thousand years old, ten thousand years old, five million years old, five billion years old, a trillion, then I get all mixed up and I say, Einstein himself couldn't figure that out. Then I'm all fuddled up in my mind. See? Why am I fuddled up? Because I cannot comprehend God? No. That's not why I am fuddled up but because I am making an approach and this approach is the wrong approach. Like somebody tying to land on the field and they're making the wrong approach and they're not listening to the orders that are coming from the tower and they don't know what they're doing and they're going to crash up. Somebody is going to crash up, see? When it's all figured out as to the levels, and whatever, as to the plane, as to the size of it, even as to the astronauts. So__ And I wish we had a little more time. But, anyway, there it is. So I say, Betty, it appears to me after considering this, that God must be from everlasting to everlasting. And everlasting to everlasting has no beginning or end and before the world was He is and He shall ever be. And that time, then, must be just a little expansion of a thing that is instigated over here by a moon that projects shadows, as to a reflection and there must be a shadowy world of symbols and types. And God must be so great that He cannot even approach the angels unless He has something to reflect Himself to them that they might look at Him through the reflector, and that we, Betty, in this condition must have to look at God through a veil. And so people do. And there is a lot of explaining there, as to the children of God, differentiating as between them and the people of the world, as to the Jews, showing them. So when we consider these things could this be right? Say, Well, when we look at the millennium and at the end of the millennium when God the great light comes there's no more sea, there's no more heaven, there's no more stars, there's no more mountains, there's no more you and I unless we've been born again, as to be transfigured into that light, as the body of Jesus Christ who alone dwells in that light, who has made the declaration as to declare God. God is a declaration. This brings us into the picture as individuals. And I know that you're about ready to go and I know it's taking too much time. But hold on just for a few moments. So then I would say, Well, Betty, the only thing I can figure out is there is no neither here nor there. See? There's no here nor there, neither here nor there. So I would say, Now that means nowhere is somewhere but what is somewhere and where is somewhere? And the only thing I could say was when the light comes, as to the light, then we discover that nowhere is somewhere and we discover that wherever light goes then it is a place for the act of creation and forms to come forth and that light has started. Because that light that came at the beginning, the Bible said, is the light of men. It's the life of men and this light is life and wherever that goes all of a sudden things come to be and existence comes. So then we realize that there is no such thing as boundaries. There is no such thing as when we get to the end of everlasting to everlasting out there that's somewhere, there's got to be an end to it, or where God started, or whatever. And then we suddenly realize it's just a matter of God, whatever He wants to do. Anytime, as we use the terms anywhere because we don't have any other vocabulary understanding or expression to express ourself. So, we're at a total loss. We're lose our balance. We get out of the realms of human beings. This is the difference between sons of God and human beings. And, anyway, it goes back to the word, back to the trees. And maybe we can enlarge on this a little bit more some other time. But, I simply saying that God will create worlds throughout eternity. If we say, as to where, what. I would say, What about this of science that says our galaxy has billions of things in it? And then it said, What about the billions of things that have billions of things in each one of them? And how far? Pluto, all these kind of things? We get mixed up again because we say and it's X amount of miles from here to the moon, and X amount of miles from here to the sun and 123 ABC. The same old thing of aging or numbering, or whatever. What is that? It is a conglomeration of a mess. It is an act of confusion. It is that which has destroyed the world and it's nothing but sounds. It's nothing but words and I wish we had time to break it down tonight because we're just getting far enough along now to get your interest and get your spirit to where you could feed and understand. See? It's just a bunch of garble that nobody understands anybody. It's a babble and all of our terms is nothing. It's absolutely nothing, no more than them that's in the insane asylum or them that has a different kind of language, as to the variety of languages throughout the world. It's nothing. See? When we go back to it and I say a loaf of bread and somebody says, He don't know that I'm talking about. And then somebody says, La, la, la. ba, ba, ba. I say, Well, now what is he talking about? And somebody that understands both says, He's talking about a loaf of bread. Then I say, Now, wait a minute. What is this garble? All of us throughout the world is in some kind of a garble because of communication, as to our communication. But when we communicate and we get it all translated and put it all together and we know that we've got it all of us is like a bunch of turkeys, as gobble, gobble, gobble. It's a big babylonian and nobody knows where they came from, where they're going, or what's going on or anything else. It's just a big old gobble, gobble that we've learned; like two birds chirping, to communicate as to our level of what we call life. Which is nothing but vanity and every bit of it to pass away. And we realize then that we're nothing but a little tiny speck in the universe and we begin to understand how great and mighty God is. Folks, I wish we could go on but I'm just trying to tell you that this is where we get mixed up when we try to think of how long God has been here. What has God been doing back through the years. Somebody says, A thousand years ago what was God doing? Somebody says, Oh, no. A billion years ago what was God doing? and what has He done down through all these billions of years? See? That's gobble, gobble. What is a billion years? Oh, somebody says, well, don't you know? Oh, no. I don't know. Well, what is the thousand years? Don't you know? Oh, no. I don't know. Now, as to natural instinct and understanding I can say, as to knowledge, I know. But in all reality when we come to our sense and understanding to know that we've always been, as it was before time, sons of God and daughters of God, and these people in the world are a bunch of beast, as to gobble, gobble. You know, I say, no. I don't know. Then I say, Wait. I can tell you; the Lord has told me. What is the billion years? I'd say it's gobble, gobble. Somebody would say, Oh, you're crazy, Brother Pike. You're eccentric. Oh, no. I'd say, Now you tell me something. What is a billion years? Someone would try to explain it. I'd say, Listen real close. A billion years is the world A and a billion years is the word billion, and a billion years is the word year. So you've got three words; there's your billion years. Come on, folks. Tell me anything else. See? So, what do we go back to? We go back to a word. And we're not even getting into the subject good here tonight. But we're just trying to lay a little format here of something to make you realize how far we are out of step with God. And how far that even the geniuses, like Einstein, are out of step with God. They've never seen, they've never heard, it's never entered into their ears at anytime, never been revealed to them the things that God have given unto us. But He hath made them revelation unto us through Christ by His Spirit. Are you understanding these things at all? See? Going back beyond the beginning. Beyond the beginning. And we're going to have to stop here because if we go any farther we're going to have to say more things that are deep and maybe deeper, to the extent that we're going to have to explain our way out of this now that we've got ourself into it. But, nevertheless, this is what I'm saying. Are we playing church? Do we understand? Are we insulted because the preacher says you don't understand? And then we get into things and say, Well, my God! Maybe there is something we don't understand here. If we do understand tell me about the billion years. If we do understand show me light, show me darkness. If we do understand show me sound. Isn't all of those things but a word. And isn't that something that emanated as from a light. And that light became a mind, as to thought? And that thought became a word, as to expression. And that word became something, as to a means of communication to give many words; to a description to bring about form. And isn't everything a composition of a word? Oh, no, somebody would say. Why I can define a word. I can give you the root of it. I can go through all of these intellectual phases and say, But do you understand when you get through? No, they don't. Scientist, falsely so-called, ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. So then, as I said today to the Brethren, someone would say, Well, Brother Pike, I have to admit I don't altogether understand how this world got into my heart. But the Bible does say God put it there. Neither do I understand how heaven got into my heart but the Bible said God put it there. Whereas, sometimes we'll get into these things. But I do know a tree when I see a tree. So, twenty-two conductive nerves from the eye to the brain tells you that's a tree. Then my eyes say, Well, there's the wall. There's the wall. My eyes tell me there is a wall there and you run into it and you're going to get hurt. And somebody else says, Oh, no, let me show you something, and they walk right through the wall. And I say, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. There's something I don't understand here. And somebody says, Well, I can tell you. They say, What is it? They say, It's a spirit. He said, Oh, no. Feel of me. A spirit hath not flesh and bone as you see me have. Now, do you mean to tell me that flesh and bones can go through that wall. Yes. So when it's a tree somebody says, There's a tree. I say, Tree is a word. A word? Yes, it's a word. What is a word? He sent His Word and healed me. He cast out the unclean spirits by His Word. He spoke the world into existence by His Word. Existence comes from a word? Yes. See? And a word, as to a thought, as to a word, as to an expression, as to a vibration, and having created us as to the spheres around us. And of course, what is sphere? A word. See? and I say that tree. So then, somebody comes and breaks down the molecular structure, as to one item at a time. And he says and mass. And mass is a composition, that of molecules. And molecules is a composition of atoms and atoms is a composition of electrons and protons and neutrons. And electrons and neutrons and protons are a compositions of betas. Or this is a composition, as to electrical sparks. Or this is packets of light. And on and on we go. And then I say, Well, there you are. Electrons, that's a word. Mass, that's a word. And then I say, Put all of those words together and what have you got? Another word called tree. Come on, folks. And that's all it is. Somebody says, Well, I don't believe that. Well, blow it apart and see if it goes back to the original elements. See? And we define it as to the elements. Somebody says, Well, what are you talking about? I'm talking about speaking the world out of existence with the brightness, with that Word that came that spoke it into existence because it took a word to do that. And that word came from the tree of knowledge. And that word, as to that knowledge, that was Satan and that is within your heart as the world. And he has programmed your thoughts. And Paul said the thoughts being the means while accusing or else excusing one another. That is, projecting itself through this, as to thoughts as to words. The mind, as to that light, even Satan, the lesser light, as to that thing that's a reflector of light by the blood on the Seat of Atonement through the days of grace that man had and is partaking of that blessing of God through mankind. And as I said, a lot of times we miss God because we cannot relate to the humiliating form of a man, but He always came that way. See? And my! what we could say concerning glory, as to the man. But, anyway, I feel a little drawing up when I even get near that so I know we aren't quite ready for that. So, when we come to this what are we saying? That the world was spoke into existence. So, the world could be spoken out of existence. So God spoke the world into existence and God is a spirit. And he did that by means of the Word, as to Jesus, and that Word was made flesh. And sure enough there was a Word body. There was a body of Word, which means the vibrations, as to the sounds, as to the quickening, as to which He came from, as to the body that was likened to you and I. And we'd have to break that down some right there. But, anyway, there was a world that got started through the fall. And then there was something that came as the Word body and it done it's work and then it replaced that. And away went that and the world went out. And when the world went out__ This has to do with the love and the lust. And when the world went out all of a sudden there was something that came in, even the Kingdom of God within you. And the Jews being blinded, intellectual scholars, not understanding and they missed the whole thing, even the Messiah Himself. He stood in their midst and said, You've never heard His voice, you've never seen His shape. Having ears you hear not, having eyes you see not. Well, anyway, when we say this it makes us to understand that if this is the temple of God, and if God is speaking and all the world has to keep silent, that if He spoke it into existence there must be a place in time, even at Little Bethlehem, that it has to be spoken out of existence. And where is the existence of the world? And if we go down the line enough to bring this together to explain it where is this great world that means so much? that all the brilliance of the world, like a bunch of buzzards they gather around this world. Like it was said of Jackie Kennedy and the president, that spirit of Kennedy, as to what the president said he had and then up comes Jackie. And all of a sudden they have a meal and it was said to me today, Do you know where they ate? I said, No. He said, They ate at Buzzard Bay. That sounds fitting for corruption, doesn't it? that they all should get together? Now, that's just a little bit off, you know, off to the side here, but I just thought we'd bring that in, as to substantiate a few things, when we do bring some things out. Which really is fantastic. So then, you say, Well, is this what it's about? This is what it's about. Say, Well, do you understand? Yeah, I understand. Do you understand? Let's stand together. Just be thankful that you even heard it. Just be thankful that you are privileged to even hear what's being said. And as we go on to say a few things and explain a few things maybe you'll realize that we're not eccentric and that maybe some things do fit together. And maybe this does make sense and maybe we are majoring on minors. And maybe all of this stuff that we look at and thing about and all this garble, garble and all this other thing, that maybe this is as to a Babylonian world with nothing, to where nobody understands anybody and even with their terminology, as to medium of exchange by voice or vocabulary expression that even that is running out to where they can't communicate with each other, that maybe there is something going on, as to a confusion where there is evil, every evil work. But, otherwise, just desire the sincere milk of the Word that you might grow thereby and be thankful. Just be thankful. Somebody would say, Well, you don't know how smart I am, Brother Pike, of getting all of these things. I know how smart you are because the very fact that that emanates from you proves that you are ignorant, that you didn't get anything, that that is still the mind of Lucifer that's got control of you. So, the soul that get's anything cries out, My God! How great Thou art? Oh, somebody said, Well, not all that great. That shows that you are ignorant and ignorance is emanating from you, as from self-esteem, that you didn't get nothing. You never did even get your eyes open. All right. So, the awesomeness of God. Let's just sing a little chorus here. As to the utterance of these few elementary things that we were talking about. (Singing.) Now remember, all the way back from the beginning of the world, as to what we refer to as the stone age, all the way back, there has been a transformating, as to a transfiguration of things. And things have gradually become more modern, more perfected, more developed. But where did that come from? Where did that originate from in every time era, or every weigh point of life?. It was from the transformation of a human mind. Even the devil can transform his mind. See? And be ye therefore transformed by the renewing of your minds, Paul said. So from the stone age, as through learning, through searching, through seeking out, through trying to find, and God allowing you to find it, to bring about that of the format of the intellectual that had the forerunner as a shadow of darkness and death, that which was to come as to the world of light. And so then, all the invisible things of God from the creation of the world clearly understood by the things which do appear, even to the eternal Godhead so that we are without excuse. So then, we find out it has made it's run. It's reached its ultimatum. Its come down to the grand finale. So when we stand here we look back and we say, Well, back in the days of the T model, back in the days before they had a T model, as to the buggy, and then on up there in nice little cars. And then all of a sudden a little plane came in. And now we have as to the super liners and the great streamline trains, and now we have the lights that increase from candle power to candle power. And now we have the modernism and all of these things. And on and on, and the appearance of the physique and the development and people working with women and men and their coming to where they look good enough just to eat. Spray them a little bit with spray to where they smell good and you feel like taking a bit. Like I said, the man riding down the road hitch hiking, they picked him up, when he got hungry he pulled out his food and he was gnawing, and when they looked he was eating the flesh off of a man's hand. He had picked up his dinner somewhere. Of course, that's a beast. So, what is it? How did it get down this far? It's because God used Satan and when He shut him out of the light and He started him in the shadowy world as the ruler of darkness, as to this transitional stride, back to the world of light. He pulled and he tugged at man until he developed his mind, as to the man hungering and thirsting after those natural things to educate, to pull man through this, as to the house of prostitution to get him over here to the other side, over the intellectual wilderness and the corruption, the slime pits and whatever, over to the other side, that when it got that far God would use something, as to your Moses and Joshua revelational pattern, God would use something that would bring a light to where there would be no more shadows and no more night. And that calls for many hundreds of thousands of things, as to word explanations. So, sure enough they got an idea. They got some kind of a thought and they came up with some kind of a constituted thing with numbers of thoughts that became word expression, as to papers and diagrams and all these kind of things. And suddenly there came out of there an image more perfected, and some to a greater power of utilization as to be able to make things even more perfect and develop more skill, even as the angel said, I come, Daniel, to give you skill. And on and on and look at our world today and we know that that happened. And the educational system; why do we go to school? To learn all those words, all those thoughts because all of those words and all of those thoughts, that's what your surroundings are. That's what your images are. That's the constitution of what you call the world when the world is in you. But, anyway, that's the manifested, as to the manifested. That's the projection. That's what you call existent. And God, of course, had to become existent and maybe we'll get into that sometimes. But, anyway, I'm just saying this because to some people He is non-existent. But to you and I He is existent. Now, to some people there is no God because where can you find God? See? But, anyway, I'm just saying in closing here that if all of this happened through the transitional periods of time because of the ego of man and this thing, as to called Satan, as to revel, to revel and to bring and to make himself a heaven that's called the world and that by means of the sacrifice of the Son of God allowing grace through that reflection and you're in that world today. You're in that heaven today. If that be so then what is that life, as to Christ the great mind, as to the world and the Word of God and of this great wonderful phenomenal thing that we call streets of gold and gates of pearl. Somebody said, Well, swoosh, God's going to take it all away. No, that's where you're wrong. But, nevertheless, let's think on these things and remember that these things coincide and if that's the way it is, as to your modern civilization of today, the origin from Egypt, then that's the way it is when the origin comes from the world of God, as to the great wonderful Spirit of God, coming to the Jews, the salvation of the Jews as to Jesus the Word in the beginning. Let's just sing another chorus or two together and we're going to let you go. (Singing.) The world has come to an end. The world is at an end. The world must pass away and all that is in the world must pass away. And with the brightness of His coming, which is the revelated God as to the light of that understanding who came as a shadow and veiled Himself in darkness as to the form of a word, as to that intellect, Satan being the ruler of the darkness, even the intellectual, as to that of the world. And all of a sudden, this light as to expanding and becoming seven times as to the candle of the Lord within you and breaking greater and greater until after awhile the expose and there it will be and corruption shall be swallowed up by incorruption. And the terrestrial shall be swallowed up by the Celestial. And the mortal shall be swallowed up by immortality. So then, there is something that is taking place and it is taking place as to the intellectual stride, as to mankind from within, as to say the flesh and to those that are of the world, the children of the world. And it will take place the same way as God suddenly appears within His temple. And my! the things that we could say right there. But as we go on singing another chorus or two the altars are open and you're welcome to come. (Singing. Beginning tape two, side two.) Do you love the Lord? You know it's strange, but even on the platform if someone doesn't agree with me, as to the intellect, they don't give me any support with their music, real cunning like, as though I don't know it but we're not judging music; we're judging spirits. This is the house of God. Isn't that strange? Let's give the Lord a hand. That means that you find Satan everywhere. So, let's sing another little chorus, can we? This is a little chorus we sing so often. (Singing.) Now, you just don't know how much He is here. You don't know how much He is here until you're eyes come open. And Satan said, When your eyes come open ye shall be as gods and he had a partial truth. But, folks, let me tell you something as to the reverse. When you find God and realize the mistake Adam and Eve made by their eyes coming open, as Satan said, you'll find a world of paradise and you'll find a world of purity. And you'll find a world of power and virtue and you'll find joy unspeakable and full of glory. My! What it would have been like if they could have been heir to the wonderful light of the tree of life, going back to the Word. And My Word is spirit and it is life and that is why that it comes to you through the medium of preaching. And that's why it comes to you through a simple vocabulary expression that's called words. Now. In this we are way down the trail now. Getting nearer home. The son writer said, I'm nearer home now than I was yesterday. And with these words, even to writing a song, nothing but words and a word and a group of words and sentences of words, and all of a sudden they begin to make sense and then you just visualize this in your mind because it has a spiritual depth. And all of a sudden there you are carried away and a warm feeling and a refreshing feeling, and you find yourself in a world, a beautiful world of satisfaction. Why? All because of some words and a grouping of words and the sounds of vibrations, and these few little things, all of it came from the Word. All of it. And it goes back to the Word. The ark of Noah and all that was in the ark. And the ark being symbolic of Jesus, all things were gathered into Jesus. In the fullness of time God sent forth the ark, His Son, made under the law and made of a woman. And the Bible said, And He gathered all things into Christ. Someone would say, Then, Brother Pike, can He get all things into the body of Jesus? Yes and no. It depends on how you understand. He gathered all things into Christ. Christ is a spirit, the life that was in Jesus. And that life of the spirit expands from everlasting to everlasting and we're translated into the marvelous Spirit of God, as to your spirit, and hid with Christ, as the interwoven, in God, who filleth all and all, until the time of the restoring, as to the change, or make that was to be manifest of the millennium and on to the Celestial light. On to the Celestial light. So then, we're here tonight. Let's lift up hands. Let's close our eyes. As we sing this little chorus think over these things because the translation is taking place. The translation. Oh, someone would say, What do you mean? I mean that Enoch was translated by faith. And when you go to translate, as to one language to another language, it's ironic to think that you're going to translate a language to another language when you don't have a language to translate. And it is the same way, if you think you're going to translate when there is nothing to translate you, as to that great light of that word tree of life, as to the light of spirit, that Word, even God the great light who became a word and a form. See? Even that light, if that light was lost, as through the fall, by the perversion as men transformed in the reverse, as to a translation to darkness, then if that darkness is within you, how great is that darkness. And if you're within the confines, and if you are imprisoned by that darkness, as to your conceit and your vain thoughts, how great is that imprisonment. And if you're to escape that imprisonment, if you're to have that transformation of mind, or to the translation then that means you're going to have to hear something, know something, find something, discover something, to make the comparison and to bring those things as to war continually, as to the thoughts being the means and as to something as to a strength, and to get that to work it's going to take faith. Faith is the keynote. And the world was framed by faith and faith is a shield which is sanctification. Faith is sanctification. That is believing in something you've come to know. And by faith He sanctifies our heart. And by faith it quenches all the fiery darts of the wicked because faith is sanctification and evil spirits of darkness cannot get past faith and cannot penetrate faith. And they're swallowed up, like dipping a hot coal in water. And thus are you sanctified once and for all by the offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus at Calvary, but then there comes a sanctification daily as to your body for the power of utilization that God might change your body into a potentiality. Not as to that to the solids of life but that as to a kinetic energy, as to a release to power, to the third power, as to that that can become like a gassy form in the symbol, that you can just become one with the light, one with the power, the great mighty everlasting that can be manifested, not only in the form of a human being, but it can be in a flower. It can be in a bird, it can be in anything. But one thing about it, it is God, as to an angelic form, as to whatever the natural is, God has desired it and it came forth. It took on the form according to it's nature and thus it is, as to the act of creation, and the act of creation is preserved forever by God so loving the world He gave His only Son to redeem it that it might be forever. And scientist has learned that they can't destroy not one tiny little part. It goes back to it's originality and it is thus the same as always. And if you die and if you go back to the dust, you go back to your original composites. When the spirit of God moves, as upon the waters, it will all come back to the image. Well, there is a lot to say there that would really be beneficial to us. But, let's sing this little chorus. (Singing.) Remember now, if that body is not preserved and that soul is not preserved and that life is not preserved, there is something called the Lake of Fire. And there are the dry places and there is an eternal damnation of being cut off from the great eternal spirit of light and life. And your spirit will be in the dry places of torment and torture throughout eternity and your body will literally be cast into a lake of fire, as to those parts that cannot be consumed, to be tortured and tormented, as to that sensual way of life forever. You're going to find as you go down the trail that your body is a prison and that image that you admired and that old conceit of your face and trying to draw people to you was the image of the devil, and the devil had dwelt there and has indoctrinated you with that intellectual fad of ever learning that is nothing but lying vanities and that you have been a tool and used to draw and allure men after your human form and fashion and to your own ignorant thoughts, as to what you call knowledge, that has vainly puffed you up. See? And then it will become a prison and all those things that you enjoyed, as through the human senses as to the exhilaration, as to the stimulation of your spirit, the angel dwelling inside, it will suddenly change and pain and misery and gnawing the tongue and all these other things, gnashing on one another with your teeth. There'll be tongues and teeth. See? And gnashing. And it will be there as to an imprisonment and torture that you never dreamed of, never in your wildest thoughts as to imagination and all because you're misused. And it didn't come back to the originality and you left the wrong thing in it, as to the infiltration. Can you sing that chorus again? Some folks are beginning to experience this already with all the epidemics, and all the things that are coming, and with insanity, with pain and with misery, with aches and with sorrow and with heartaches. And it will be enlarged the more because the knowledge will increase the more and the more you'll be able to see with your eyes of knowledge and the more you'll be in that world and the more weird it will be. Just like it will be as to the opposite and you'll know the depths of hell and you'll know the depths of Satan and the depths of suffering and deeper and deeper and deeper into that bottomless pit, as we would say. And as to God, you will go higher and higher with the greater and the more exhilaration. More than you ever dreamed could ever exist, as to the thrills and the satisfaction and the refreshing of Almighty God to life abundantly, filled up and overflowing. The world is slipping away from you. Heaven has come in. While your hands are up let's sing this little chorus. (Singing.) Remember now, to get rid of time you have to get rid of the moon. When God laid the cornerstone of the earth what was it? It was the moon. Somebody said, But, you said it was Jesus. It was Jesus. It was the Word. See? But the Word__ Jesus came in the form of a servant and the servant means as to that of the darkness and the shadow and the sin. And God veiled Himself on the inside of that veil, as to that cloak. Which we have much to say but you are dull of hearing. And so then, that goes back to the moon realm, so the moon, as to the vanity of vanities, as to Satan's world and the shadow to the reflection, there was the cornerstone. And even as the angel that flew through the air and a great millstone was cast into the bottom of the sea. So it is that the sea is the bottomless pit. They have never fathomed it. And there won't be any sea in the great Celestial world. So, deep, deep, deep into the waters and the deeper you go the more weird the things are as to the deep weirdness of the creatures of darkness, even down to the domains of Leviathan, the piercing serpent which requires the double bridle. See? (Singing.) Where does time come from? What is time? How do we understand? This is why we need to know, to go beyond the veil, beyond the beginning, to understand, to know. Be spiritual. I'd like to speak unto you as unto spirituals. Pray that God will grant unto you the spirit of revelation and get rid of that intellectual death, or the carnal mind that's resistance against the Holy Spirit, that takes the glory from God, to your intellectual brilliance and admiration of your form and your youth and your strength. And remember thy creator in the days of your youth before the evil days of detriment comes, when the devastation comes from head to feet and you'll sigh and regret and say, I wish it could be different because you are sowing and you're going to reap a harvest. And you don't listen to the minister. It's obvious that you are not one with the spirit of the minister so you're not one with God, in that you don't hear what the minister is saying. And he that receiveth a minister, as to him that God has sent, also receiveth Him that sent him. And he that doth not receive him that God sent he doth not receive God. So there isn't any sidelines. There isn't any second best. There isn't any new revelation. It's like I told the Brethren last night when we were talking, whether you have a dream or whether you don't have a dream, the Bible said dream, dream, you dream and you seek to turn my people away from me. whether you have a dream or you don't have a dream the thing is, the revelation remains the revelation. And God's plan remains the plan of God. Everlasting. Always. Yesterday, the same, forever, to all generations. And when one man gets a revelation, as to a God revelation, another man gets a revelation it's going to be identically the same revelation and it might be another part of the revelation but it's going to fit to the same part. And if you try to run off with your part then that means that you are foolish, you've had hallucination, not revelation. And when revelation comes, as in your heart, your spirit will draw you to your brother and to revelation to revelation and the puzzle will come together and you'll rejoice and give God the glory. We'll give God the glory. We'll rise up and shine and give God the glory. So, all of it will be the same and it won't be strange people, it won't be people seeking preeminence and it won't be educated facts. It won't be the old tree of death and knowledge, the polished ethics of life. It won't matter whether it's youth or whether it's age or whether it's middle age. It won't matter if it's male or female; it will be Christ and it will all come together beautifully in one mind. When I bring Zion again it will be one mind and one accord and the head will be returning for it's membership and all of it will walk in the light as He is in the light and it will bring fellowship one with another. So, remember that when preachers come to you and people come to you have got all king of things, you be wise in God. I don't care whether it's relative or friends, or whether it's mother or daddy or son or daughter, or whether it's the preacher. Whoever it is, you remember what I'm telling you. Somebody would say, But, Brother Pike, you don't know God's doing a new thing and I'm that head in the earth. I know on thing. I know you're ignorant. And I know you're having strong delusions and believing a lie to be damned. And God sent them to you. There is only one head and that's Jesus Christ, as to the natural form, and He's waiting to come back and right now it's only Christ, as to that head, as to that revelation which was Christ, and not Paul, that He might bring everybody together, as to the spiritual man because God is a spirit, that then it might be made manifest as to light. And that to the eradication of darkness of you having that intellectual darkness that God might become existent, or be made manifest as through the format of your own intellectual means through that which God uses as a tool, even Lucifer, the son of the morning. So, with you hands up and your eyes closed I'm going to ask the Brother Jew to come up. While he's coming we're going to sing this one more time, now. (Singing)
