Rejecting Your Covering

We've dealt with a lot of things in the Bible and still there's hundreds and thousands of things that needs to be told. I've said so often like the song we wrote that the Queen of Sheba came from came from afar to hear the wisdom of Solomon. Solomon was just a man, but nevertheless, she came from afar to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And when she heard the wisdom, she said, the half has never been told. Reading from the book of Galatians let's read together. Paul is having a little difference with the Jews. He encountered something with Peter. And here in the book of Galatians he begins to preach a sermon and to explain something. Whereas people read these books of the Bible, they don't understand too much about to much about them because they're not spiritual; and they can't fit it altogether because they're not asking God to show them. And that's why that it's hard for them to understand. The Bible says that there is no Scripture that is of a private interpretation. I've said this before, some people say, I don't have to go to church to serve God. The first thing you know when you hear that is the devil's talking. And that's a fleshly carnal mind that's at enmity with God. Because to be saved, the way that you are saved is by believing in the Word of God. And faith by the Word of God is recognized by them that do the Word. Not being hearers only, but doers of the Word. These shall be justified. So then you know that the first thing they done is prove that they don't have salvation. Because salvation comes by faith in the Word. And to hear the Word, to honor the Word is to prove your faith in the Word. That's the proof of your faith in the Word. So when you do not do what the Bible tells you to do, it's very evident that you are not a believer. Now let's just examine it for a few minutes. For instance someone might dispute that and say, Well, I just don't see that. It just says believe it. Well if that's true then the whole world one way or another should be Christians and should be saved because I don't think that I have ever met a person in my life in traveling around the world that didn't believe that there was a God. Now you might have met somebody who foolishly said they didn't, but so far all I've ever read about it as to infidels when they got ready to die, they changed their conviction altogether. And I've never met anyone that didn't believe there was a God. As a matter of fact when I met the devil, I found out that he believed there was a God. So even he teaches his people there's a god to the extent that he wants them to believe that he is that god. But the Bible said if you believe there's one God, you do well, the devils they believe too, or Satan believes and trembles. So if that's true then if people believe there's a God then they believe in the Bible whether it's your collection of sixty-six books that called the Bible, or whether it's their collection that they call the Bible as to whatever it might be of a translated version or a new version or a revised version, or whether it be the Koran or whatever it might be as to around the world. See, so if all there is to that you have to do to get to heaven is just merely believe, then that means all of us are on our way because everybody believes something. Some believes in the Masons, some believes in other societies of life, whereas the Masons are devout believers in the Word of God you know, to their way of doing it. And that makes me to know there must be some definite distinction of difference that shows somewhere or that God has given somewhere to let us know the difference. Because the Bible said it would deceive the very elect if it was possible, and we know that's not possible. If there is something somewhere that makes a difference and tells us the difference or shows us the difference, then what would it be? Well, I would base my thoughts on this: and that is the Bible said, the child is known by his doings. Now I think to me that would explain it. He that doeth righteousness is righteous even as He is righteous. And he that doeth not righteousness is not righteous. Whatever man does, that's what he believes, that's what he is. So not the hearers of the Word shall be justified, but the doers. And of course let me say if you believe there's a God, you know the devil does too. So just mere believing isn't going to save you. And then of course we move on to another avenue of thought and that avenue is: Well Brother Pike, I'm determined to believe that I'm saved by faith and that's great because that's true. But on the other hand that's not true as to your concept of being saved. People write tracts and they write books and they pick out the Scriptures of the Bible and they catalog them and categorize them and they slip you a little tract and it's by faith, by faith, by faith, by faith, and by grace and by grace and by grace. And then they post a few things over here somewhere to let you know that all of this concerns works and none of that's no good to you. Well, that's a cunning trick of the devil, because the writer asks this question. He spoke of faith and works, and then he magnified faith like this, he said, And since we're speaking of faith we'll examine it first as we would say, Can faith alone save you? So I ask you the same question that he asked. If you believe that you are saved by faith then can faith alone save you? Of course not. That's why the writer said, Faith without works is dead. Do you know oh vain man that faith without works is dead? And if you take the other outlook as the Jews did as to work your way unto God you have a zeal without knowledge and going about to establish your on righteousness you stumble at the righteousness of God which is by faith. So then the writer said, And your works without faith is also dead. So then what do we constitute as to a lesson out of that kind of teaching. It's takes faith and it takes works. And the writer magnified it like this: as to Abraham when he had faith in God, what saved Abraham? Wasn't it leaving the land of his kindred, honoring the Lord, offering his son up as a sacrifice before God? And wasn't it as in the days of Noah when God wanted to save Noah and the people that He said you're going to have to have a little works Noah and build a boat or an ark? And wasn't it as to Rahab the harlot the Bible said, When the spies went in that she took them and hid them from the enemy and she took care of them. So then the writer in conclusion said, you see then how that by works faith is made perfect. So he said, show me your faith without your works. In other words, what proof do you have that you believe? Show it to me. That's a good question you know. I say, Brother Taylor, I'd like for you to show me your faith without doing anything. Now what would you show me, Brother Taylor? How would you go about it? How would you go about it? Could somebody tell me how you would go about it? If I just singled you out tonight and I said, Well now you say you got faith, now I want, I want to have faith. Now, show me the faith. Show me, you know show me this thing. What would you do? You couldn't. You couldn't. I said, You couldn't. If you can don't you think you ought to stand up and say, Now wait a minute Brother Pike, you're a liar. Because if you can I'd be misleading the people if I said that they, I'd either be ignorant and didn't know or I'd just be plain lying because you can't if you haven't got anything. Is that right? I say, Brother Taylor, I'm going fishing. And I'm going hunting after that. And he says, Well, what are you going to hunt with? You don't have a gun and you don't have a fishing pole and you don't have a hook and you don't have anything at all, not anything to fish with. Well that ain't got nothing to do with it, I'm going fishing. It sound like the little thing about simple Simon, is that what they call him. See, you can't. That's why the writer did that. He contested the protest of those that were saying those things because you are just a foolish person. You don't realize some of the don't realize that they're that foolish, but that's just how foolish you are. You know a man says he's a millionaire and he ain't got a penny. And somebody said, Well, put your money where your mouth is. That's what they use to say, and of course he can't. So then is he a millionaire? Of course not. He doesn't have anything. He doesn't have good common sense going around boasting he's a millionaire. All right so then you show me your faith without your works. You can't. You don't have any way to demonstrate it, anyway to project it, anyway to reveal it, any, there's no possible way. But now I can show you my faith by my works. I show you my faith toward God when you look at these buildings, when you look at the grounds, when you look at the fact that God has kept me in His way down through the years and my wife. And you are my proof and testimony in Christ of my faith. Paul said, an epistle that's known and read of all men, and just not you, but people around the world, of the different people that we've ministered too and won to God, or we've helped indoctrinate. See, and I could go on and on and on showing you my faith. Now if you have done something for God then you can show me your faith. But if you haven't you can't. That's why I was telling somebody just recently. Something was said about some certain brother. And he said he just don't seem to take part in the work. He comes to church regular, pretty regular, fairly regular we'll say. And he you know he fellowships a little around talking in and out church, not much. But you don't get him to men's meeting. When it comes to men's meeting he isn't going to come to men's meeting because the one thing that I've known of him ever since I've ever known him he and his companion is to hoard money. Very religious, but they always had a love for money and they don't seem to want to share. And I said, another thing is when you see people who don't want to do anything for God, then they don't have any faith. And if they don't have any faith they don't have any salvation. I said, You want me to give you a proof of it, I said the Bible said that we have passed from death unto life because we love the brethren. Is that right? Have you ever read in the Bible anywhere where there's any other scriptures from Genesis to Revelation that states that there is a proof of your eternal life other than loving the brethren. And you never come around the brethren and you never fellowship the brethren, and you never help the brethren, and you say you love the brethren, the Bible said, Lie not against the truth. You don't have salvation, neither do you have eternal life. Let's give the Lord a hand. Now, we're suppose to love the truth, isn't that right? Do you love the truth? Some, well I don't believe it like that. Well, that's all right. God's got something you can believe. He said, If you don't believe the truth then I'll give you something else. I'll turn you over to a reprobate mind and let you believe a lie and be damned. And some of you believe a lie. I can say something here and get a repercussion out of them and I can tell that you believe a lie. You don't believe the truth. Like I was telling some men just in the last day or two, we was having a little chat. One of the great keys to faith, there is keys to everything. There is a key to Jesus spoke of a key to hell. He spoke of a key to death, and he spoke of a key to the kingdom. And he spoke of a key to knowledge, and of course he said that the preachers or the leaders as to the scribes and the pharisees, the doctors of the law of that day, the lawyers of that day, he said, they've taken away the key of knowledge. And they really have. They've replaced it with that old intellectual thing. You know I felt my congregation go a little sour on me when I said that about the lie. They didn't like that too much, but that's part of preaching. Let's give the Lord a hand. See, that's the part you got to like. You got to digest that. That's the little pill, that's that little bitter pill that goes in that sweet coated honey taste. That don't set well. Well I got some here I can start feeling something. When I start preaching, as long as I just kind of rub the kitty this way you know, everythings just fine. But if I ever cross your mind your carnal mind that's enmity with God, then the flax begins to fly, and I begin to feel and I begin to see just where you're living. You come in here you sing, you're just like Saul of old you know. Everything's just fine as long as you're playing music and singing, but just as quick as that singing goes and we say something about the Word and your carnality, living in the flesh all day long, and being just half in and half out, not talking about God, not praying, not seeking God, not studying the Word, just going around all day thinking that you're a Christian, not having any works with your faith, and you come in here and you get sour as a lemon. Let's give the Lord another hand. But you know what, the Bible said, Taste and see if the Lord is good. He said in your mouth it would be sweet like honey but when it hits that old flesh as to the belly, it'll be bitter. All right so then there is a key to knowledge. You know this is the amusing thing, let me say this. This is the amusing thing. I have people here with me that's been here ten years, fifteen years maybe longer, and they profess Christianity. They even live on the campground, and all of a sudden they fly up and you see what's in their hearts and in their minds and that's the way it's been with them down through their life. But see they cover it up. They keep it covered up so well that you rub elbows with them, you see them in church, you greet them, you talk to them, they're real exuberant about their expressions and whatever and they don't have nothing from God. They're just as carnal as they can be. They're just a reflector. They're just here out of fear, and they're just here encouraging themselves to think that they're part of the people and that they're going with God, but I tell you in Jesus name they're not, they're not. Like Paul said one time, these are Jews he said, all of these are Jews, yet that's what you call them. He said, But all of these are not the children of God because they're Jews. God isn't going to save all the Jews just because somebody calls them a Jew. He isn't going to do that. The Bible said, three million people that he brought out of Egypt, but with many of them he was not well pleased, though they had the healing, not one of them was sick, not one of them as to their feet swelled. He fed everyone of them. Over to Canaan land, He took care of them for forty long years. And when they thought they were going into glory, he just opened the earth up and every last one of them fell into it. Because you can see a vision once in a while like Balaam, that don't mean you are god, godly or that you have eternal life. He loved the wages of unrighteousness. Because the Spirit will come on you and you'll prophesy like some people do. In the world that don't mean you're godly. Saul prophesied. The Spirit of the Lord came upon him and he prophesied so much they thought he was among the prophets, but bitterness in his heart he wanted to kill David. See, and went to witches because he had lost contact with God. Whereas in this reading of Galtaions it says, Oh foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you that ye should not obey the truth? You people have been bewitched, many of you and you do not obey the truth. And you're stubbornness and you're rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and as idolatry. You are the same. You are numbered with the idol worshippers. Over in India and wherever and in America, and you are numbered with the witch worshippers because that's what you are because that is a devil, your mind, your thoughts bewitching. Now that's something isn't it? Just in here just a few minutes over to my right a man in the balcony he's just still as carnal as ever. That old carnal mind it's enmity with God, a young fellow over in the left in the balcony just still just as carnal and wretched as ever. Yet religious, coming to church, but devils working around people. You know bringing them into the church, though you preach to them, see they cannot believe that someday God will drop them when they least expect it. It's like a sister over to my right God just dealt with her in the last few days because she rose up in her spirit against me. And tonight she's not as lenient as she should be as to mellowrise her spirit. She takes on too much authority and she's too strong in her spirit. That's not for a woman. See in the Old Testament there's one thing that God warned of. And that is a woman cannot have authority over the man. She cannot do that. This is the one reason that I emphacize that a woman cannot preach. Someone said, But you're talking about the flesh. That's the woman I'm talking about. That's the woman I'm talking about. And when I come in here and I feel that kind of attitude then I know the woman is not in her place. So it was said that you, a woman cannot wear anything that pertaineth unto a man, not anything, because that represents authority. The Old Testament as to natural things represented spiritual things in the New Testament as to taking spiritual authority. And so then she was not allowed to do that. Now if someone would say, Well, I don't like it. I think God's unfair. You know why did he make me a woman and make me like this and thus and thus and thus? Well to begin with the woman was part of Adam. She was the one that chose the world on her own. And the man was not in the transgression. And the Bible said, Because of this it's carried on to the New Testament, and because of this she is under the jurisdictional power of her husband. Let her honor him in all things and obey him. God said that. So then if you step outside of that, do you have salvation? No. Can you get to heaven? No. God is the head of Christ. And Christ is the head of man. And man is the head of the woman. Can Christ do anything outside of His Father? He said, I can do nothing of myself, for my Father is greater than I. It is my Father that doeth the work. He is the head. He is the one that's in control. He's the one that's making the decisions. Can we then do anything without Christ? Oh no. No because it is Christ that maketh decisions. It is Christ that is our strength because we are weaker than He. And He hath delivered us from Satan who was stronger than we, taking us from the powers of darkness and delivering us into the marvellous kingdom of light, translating us in. Then can the woman do anything without the man? Of course not. He's the head. What makes you think that if Christ cannot do nothing, or cannot do anything about his head, and if you cannot do anything without your head as the man, what makes you think that the woman can do anything without her head? Somebody said, Well, what do you mean? Well, like over there in Jamaica, a case down there where we preached, the man just walked up, he took his machete and he said shoo and there wasn't any head left. And the fellow that the head belonged too, he stopped doing things immediately. All right now what are we trying to say here before we read just a word or too? Maybe I'll just talk with you. I don't know. There's a lot of things I need to talk to you about. When a woman cuts her hair and she won't listen at you, now somebody said, Brother Pike, you're not one of them kind of preachers. I'm afraid I am. I guess I am. And if a woman cuts her hair, she goes to bobbing her hair off, does that make any difference? Somebody says, Brother Pike, do you think God cares for hair? No more than he does for flesh. All flesh has corrupted it's way before God. He's rejected it all. And your hair went with it. All right so then we look at it a little closer. Does it matter if she bobs her hair off? It certainly does. The Bible said, She is as though she was shaven. I've got some of you that's messing around with your hair, clip hair and you think that I don't know anything about it. But I was just talking to somebody the other day about different ones that come up, you know we was talking about them that come up to play the music, them that come up to stand behind the sacred desk, them that come up to sing. We have little discussion ever once in a while. Longsuffering, not willing that any should perish. But anyway, does it make a difference? Yes it makes a difference. The Bible said when she does that it is as though she was shaven, that she didn't have any hair at all. You know in the world you go into the different places and they strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. Like the Catholics they strain at a gnat and they swallow a camel. The nuns shave all their hair off which is their covering. For the Bible said, a woman's hair is given to her for her covering. I don't have time to preach on the covering tonight, but ah the loss of the covering was what caused the problem to begin with. When as the Lord said, You cover with a covering but not of me. And Paul said as to the covering cherubs this I cannot speak particular of as of now as even in his day. So then Paul said, you know if a woman does this we don't have any such customs, not the church of God. That is we don't permit those kind of things. We don't permit the woman to have authority, to take authority. The man first born and then the woman, and the woman was found in the transgression and not the man, therefore let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. For she is not permitted to speak as also saith the law, but let her learn in silence. And if she would learn anything that she don't understand, let her ask her husband at home for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. All right that is the New Testament. As also saith the law you can go back and check the life of a great woman there Anna. She came into the temple. She spoke. She prophesied. She spoke of Jesus and of the wonderful things there and the man came and prophesied that is, but she spoke of him. Now it's very obvious that Paul was speaking of taking authority and of being the speaker, because to be a preacher a woman has to take authority. And it isn't wrong for her to quote the scripture. It isn't wrong for her to do a missionary work. It isn't wrong for her to testify of the Gospel. It isn't wrong for her to fast and pray. It isn't wrong for her to be active and a real testimony, but it is wrong for her to be active and be a busy body. The Bible speaks of some mouths that ought to be stopped. Said, And these go about from house to house, subverting whole households whose mouths ought to be stopped and especially widows, having cast off their first faith, said now they receive of themselves damnation because they've done it. So I command he said, that the woman marry, let the young widows marry. Don't even receive them into the church. Because when they wax wanting they'll sin against God. Some have done this already and brought damnation to their soul. So he said, I say that they should marry, guide the house, raise children, and give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. Even in the Old Testament, the priest, when they married they could not even marry a widow unless it was the widow of, a widow that is of a priest, where the priest had died. Well anyway we don't have time to get into all those things especially as a spiritual application, but just dropping a few things in because I now your mind is going to run and wonder about that. So the woman hath her hair for a covering. She has her hair for a covering. If she cuts her hair, what does it represent? When she cuts her hair short, it represents that she has the spirit of rebellion. It is the same as an idol worshipper or she's been bewitched. And you remember the vision I told you of the woman that had the rebellion. Brother Taylor, Sister Taylor knows this very well. They know for sure she had the spirit. She's still got it. And we spoke of it and she lost out with God. She's never come back. I saw her in a vision, and in the vision as I told you I saw her before a big open fire, like you laid logs on the fire on what they called the firedogs. She had her back to the fire. I saw a witch ease in back of her, between her and the fire. I saw the witch cut her hair off and take her hair and throw it into the fire. And then I knew according to the vision her glory was gone. For a woman's hair represents the glory of the church. And when a woman cuts her hair it represents a rebellious church, and not only that, but it also shows that she hath rebelled against her husband because the Bible said, and the government shall be upon the shoulders. And when you cut the hair, it takes it off of the shoulders. And when you do that you run into the same thing that Samson did when Samson let Delilah cut his locks off which was representative of the seven church ages. And so then he lost...didn't receive any strength until his hair grew out. Whereas that doesn't justify long hair as to Samson, because there is a different ordinance, whereas the Bible said, A man that hath long hair it is a shame for men to have long hair. So the church doesn't have any custom as to allowing long hair and having women to bob their hair. I remember when bobbed hair first got started and I was just a boy. And I remember so well, and it was women that had to go on jobs and work and didn't want to comb their hair and didn't want to take time to comb it. And they'd be aggravated and they'd snort. Sometimes I was around when some of them would you know relatives that snatch and pull, and they didn't have the convenience you have for your hair today. And they'd pull about oh a little bit of it out you know every time they'd comb it because it was so kinky, messed up because they had to work for a living. They didn't have the sprays to hold it in space, place, in place. But anyway it was really an amazing thing and they were really haughty, contrary wives, or women that was bossy type women. Of course they're no different today. But anyway that was the beginning of it there. And when the woman cuts off her hair, what does it mean? It means that she is in rebellion to her husband. Her hair represents his control over her. Now when she does that it's all as if she were shaven, because the Bible said she should have a covering over her head because of the angels. So in foreign countries or people that practice strange religions, not knowing they put a little old hat or bandana or something over their head. They would dare go into the sanctuary without it. A lot of them are innocent. They just don't know. They're fine folks. But anyway, the nuns shave theirs off and then they put a covering over it. But if you knew the evil, low down practices and debauchery of the nuns, you'd know that it really does spell something bad and that they lost their glory. Though a lot of them got, young girls got tied up in it in an innocency, see, and their coming out and they're testifying of it and writing books of it of what of things it's like of being in hell. But it represents that the woman is in rebellion against her husband. She hath rebelled against him and he doesn't have any control over her. His government of control is gone. And I challenge you to find any woman that does it, unless it's some young girl that's come up in a home like that and don't know any better, and even then you'll find her in rebellion. But find any woman that does it and won't listen and I'll guarantee you she'll be a rebellious woman. She might look good, she might act good, she might try to be fine, but when you narrow it down and you get down to her life and check her life out, she will be a strong spirited rebellious woman. No doubt about it, it's got to be a devil because it's contrary to the scriptures. All right so then the world is caught in it. And I don't say a whole lot about it because I'm trying to reach people and get them out of those kind of things and try to do it with the love of God. But if I'm to have a church I have to hit these things ever once in a while. God wants these things brought out. So then what does Paul mean that the woman is all as if she was shaven or naked he said? God said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Or that is to say, You had a covering. That covering was a pure heart, a pure mind, that to the pure all things are pure. But to the defiled and unbelieving is there nothing pure. What did you do with my covering? Who told you that you was in this kind of condition? Have you eat of the tree of knowledge that I told you not to eat of? And that was it. See, I said, it wasn't because of the garments. They didn't have any garments in the beginning and they were not ashamed. But when they got that kind of mind that's where the filth came from, that's where the debauchery came from, that's where death came from, and that's what it is today. You still think that way even about the decent things, even as of the married when the Bible said, It's undefiled in all. But the adulterer and whoremonger God will judge. So then what does he mean? It's all as if she was naked. Why does he say that? Because her hair represents the glory of her husband which is his government, his control. It represents her glory to the extent that it represents his strength as it with did Samson. And that is his strength. That is his power of control represented in their life. Somebody said, Well I got long hair. That makes me good. No you could have a devil and have it down to your ankles. That doesn't have nothing to do with hair. God don't care for hair and he don't care for flesh either. All right now but it does, it is symbolic, it was given for a great meaning. And it does have a great meaning and he does care for his glory. There is the glory of the woman. There is the glory of the man. There is the glory of the moon. There is the glory of the stars. And each star differeth in glory. And God hath called us to virtue and to glory. And the beautiful part of it is that God hath called us to his own glory and hath given us his own glory. Having called us to a glory, the greatest glory of all. So then there is a terrestrial glory. There is a celestial glory. And you that are of the world and the riches and the splendor and the magnificence of the college and all of these things, degrees and doctors and money and prestige, dignitaries, celebrities, you have the terrestrial glory. So God has put it that the rich have their consolation. Then he hath put it that the gospel is sent unto the poor. And then he says, I'll make the last first and the first last by reversing as when the celestial glory comes in. For he said there is a glory of the terrestrial body and then there is a glory of the celestial body. We have left the terrestrial. We've nailed that to the tree by the body of Jesus which is a sinful body. And now we are the body and bone of the Lord Jesus Christ, this tabernacle in the mind of God having been dissolved we have another one now eternal in the heavens, not made with hands which is the body of the Lord Jesus; and at his appearing we will change into that glorious body. But in God's sight we're already that body with spot without wrinkle, without blemish. All right if it was just the world as to the world's glory. That reminds me of something Billy Sunday said. You know Billy Sunday was one of the all time greats as to the Baptist preachers. Billy was a hard preacher. He'd preach about Pentecost and say, the world needs a Pentecost. That's what they need. But anyway he said, I'll tell you folks, he said, if the church, he had a little difference with a man about the millionaires being in the church, because some man had said this church over here the Presbyterian is the greatest church in this town. He wanted to know why? Well they got three millionaires in it. It's the only one that's got three millionaires. And he said when he strarted preaching he said, I'll tell you folks, he said, if the church was just made up of millionaires and of college students, he said it would rot and go forty-nine fathoms in hell. And I don't, my preaching don't quite follow that line of thought but there's one thing about it, I can't say he was wrong. I don't know about the forty-nine fathoms. But I do say this, that we do have rules and regulations, scriptural ordinances; and as Billy said, We need to quite fiddling around with religion was his terms, and get back in line with God and do what's right. And then we will have power in the church as he said. I just happen to notice that, picked up a book and just read a few lines there and I agree with it. I agree with it. And he said you're chief women and leaders is usually those that's in society. And those that's mixed up and he went on with about every worldly fashion that could be. And then he said, and you call that your church. And then he spoke of three women that he knew of in a town over in Ohio that was three praying women. One of these was a black woman, and he said this was the cleanest little town that he ever went into. And said them was the prayingest people that he ever seen in his life. And said they had more faith than anybody he had ever met and talked like they got more results. And he was speaking of the people that needed to live right. He said, When I was a ball player as a professional ball player, pitcher, I believe it was. He said, I went to every movie house I could go too. He said, And when I become a preacher, he said, I've never darkened the door of one of them again. Folks, we're talking about Baptist. Wouldn't you like to join a Baptist church so you could get saved? Let's give the Lord a hand. I'm talking about an old time Baptist church. Somebody said, Well, you couldn't do that. Well, I was saved in a Baptist church. Let's give the Lord another hand. It does work. See wherever Christ is, wherever holiness is, he doesn't care whether you're called John the Baptist or whether you're called Paul the Apostle. All right, so then we say, What do you mean then brother about the covering? The said you cover with a covering but not mine. You've already left mine and he put them on skins to hide their nakedness one from another. And when you say the covering, it indicates that the covering is gone. The glory of God has departed and ichibalb is wrote across the door. See, and why should she have this covering because of the angels? Because the angels doesn't need to look upon her nakedness. Someone would say, Well, what's that got to do with angels? Because the angels cohabit with women. And through, through this thing they mate with women. And they have affairs with women. Someone would say, Oh no, Brother Pike, oh yes. Oh yes. I've run into numbers of them. Somebody would say, You mean to tell me a spirit could do that? Oh yes, a spirit can do that. Not the way you're thinking. The spirit has to do it through your heart to create lust. And it's the same thing, fornication if you look and desire. You've committed fornication with that angel. But on the other hand the thing I'm referring to is that he gets into a body of a male, and then he entices, and then it's out of wedlock or it's out of stride with the Lord, and the angel has committed his evil fornication. There's a natural fornication. There's a spiritual fornication. And even in the New Testament, though the law was done away with as to being folded up and laid away and fulfilled in Christ, it was still said to the Gentile church, go tell them to abstain from blood and fornication. If they do these things that's well. That's one thing that God is hard on, this sinful, adulterous, fornicating age of these people, these young people and these women and men and boys and girls that's throwed their lives away, they don't have no idea how strong God's going to be and how hard he's going to be on them. The Bible speaks of those that were to receive the greater damnation. All right there's more gospel, more understanding and they're worse than they've ever been in their whole life, won't listen, rebellious, idolatry, witchcraft. Anytime you are evasive to the Word, and won't listen to the Word, then that means as Paul said, Who hath bewitched you, oh you foolish people he said, or foolish Galatians. All right, so when I say, a covering, she needs a covering. What hath she done? She has cut her hair. The government as to her protection which is her head is now gone. She doesn't have any covering; and now she can't be saved, because she's lost her head, for her salvation is in Christ through her head. He is the savior of the body as to that which she must. Someone would say, Oh no Brother Pike. Oh yes. Oh yes. Can my arm be saved if it doesn't abide in the body? Didn't Jesus say, it would be cut off? It would wither. It would be no more. My arm can only be saved as long as the life flows through it and then it doesn't corrupt. If it's cut off, what happens to it? Jesus said, If the vine, if the branches abide within the vine, then they will be saved, otherwise they're cut off and they wither and men gather them and throw them into the fire. So then can a woman be saved when she is bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh? As long as she abides as that Adam, just one Adam and it was feminine and masculine. And when God took the feminine part and made a separate individual, it did not change the fact that that was Mrs. Adam, and that's what a woman will say, I am Mrs. as to whatever the man is, because that's right. See, and it didn't change it. Distance, whether Adam was over here in this corner of the garden and she was over there, it was still Adam. And when the children came as to a reproduction, not a drop of the mother's blood was in the children as we say. It was still Adam. And the woman was then altogether a reflector of the life of Adam, and she was only in the original creation as she remained in the mind of Adam. That so long as the mind of Adam had control of her then she was the original creation that was not in the transgression. But the minute that she went off on her own, she took on another mind because she could not have done that by herself. She took on another mind and when she did it put a breach between her and the body of Adam. And it put a breach between her mind and the mind of Adam. And when you cut off the hair, it's represented by that. And from that moment on you know what was wrong with her? She was naked. Somebody said, Well, her and Adam both. No. Adam wasn't. She was. Adam wasn't naked because he was not in the transgression. Neither did he see her shame because he was not in the transgression. But the very minute that God allowed her to give to Adam so that Adam would go out in the expulsion to take care of his wife, that very minute Adam lost the sonship because he was called the son of God, and the image in which he was made, our image as to the image of Christ, then in the image in which he was made, that image was lost. The sonship was lost, and then he become the flesh which was the woman because he become one with the woman. He that is joined to a harlot they are one flesh. And so then he became that one that is responsible for death, the sins of one man Adam in all die, though they had not sinned after the similitude of Adam. So it was the flesh. It was the weakness of the woman, and Satan had took over and then that was his body, the head of the old serpent and the generation of the vipers; and everyone that's born into the world today they are in that kind of condition. They are dying. The spirit of foolishness is bound in their heart from childhood and they are born into shame, and unless they die by accepting the death of Jesus, while they are yet alive as to a natural concept of life, unless they die by the body of the Lord Jesus and then accept the resurrection of the Christ that arose in another form as to be his body and his life, then they are dead in God's sight, dead while he lives, they're cut off and they will wither up and corrupt in the corruption of this world and go to hell. All right so that's where the world is standing. That's why I have the difference in reproducing after your kind. That's why God hath a difference that Christians reproduce after their kind. As it was in the beginning it is not so in the beginning as to these things. That's why when they said, Moses, give us a writing of divorcement. He said I know Moses did for the hardness of your heart, but said, he only suffered that. He was trying to keep peace we would say, keep you from fighting with one another and you wouldn't get along, he had to do something. Said, But that wasn't so from the beginning. He that made a male and female made them one. That's his body and for this cause a man shall forsake mother and daddy, forsake the family and cleave to this wife. And love her as his own body and love her as the church. And folks, let me tell you whether you're a man or whether you're a woman whatever, when you get inbetween the couples God will take your head off. When you undermine a home he'll turn your belly into corruption and you'll rot with cancer or whatever, because the Bible says, Don't deal treachorously against the wife of your youth, because God hateth putting away. And you give honor unto her as unto the weaker vessel. When she get's nervous and tense and tore up, you don't compromise and let her scream and slam doors and knock the windows out because your the head of the house. God will require it of you. But don't you go in there man handling her and beating her around and cursing and snorting and trying to handle her with your own ill temper. And even if you see your brother in a fault the Bible said, ye that are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourselves lest you be tempted also. All right so we know then that we are to abide within our calling. And as I said to the men at the men's meeting, I said, there's probably not any of us but what we ain't mixed up with something one way of another like Brother Baxter was telling me today, he's got Dutch in him and he named about three things or more that he had in him. And then the natural reasoning will always go to this end of it. We'll say, Well, Brother Pike, if everything is already muddled up and mixed up, what are you trying to do as to straighten it out? Why don't you leave it along? The thing to do is to get people saved. I agree that the thing to do is to get people saved. I agree that we should not fight as to racial strife or always be disputing with one another. The Bible said, Receive the weaker brother but not to doubtful disputation or to be doubtful of him or to dispute with him, one you know believes that they can't eat anything but herbs and another believes he can eat all things. And one man esteems one day above another by saying this is the sabbath sunday. Which of course he just doesn't understand. He's a weak brother. Because that was only symbolic of the millennium that was to come as to the type of the Old Testament. And he said another doesn't do that. Another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind, because he that regardeth a day as setting one aside, if he's sincere and he's convicted, he does that as unto the Lord. And don't bother, you'll make his faith shipwreck. Now as long as he's got God he's all right. You can tutor him on down the road maybe. Or win his favor, he might even listen to you. If he doesn't he hasn't done any harm. See, and he that does not regard the day as to a special day, as to a sabbath day here, maybe he has to work on Sunday to make a living. Not just taking Sunday to work on you know to fill the belly as to a gullible desire or to make a little extra money, you know, but maybe he has to work on Sunday to make his living, and he would like to be off on Sunday to go to church. But in that he doesn't esteem it as a sabbath day, he esteems every day as God's day. Like you and I, this is the day that the Lord hath made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. So we say the millennium, the millennium takes in a lot of sabbath days according to our calculation. How many weeks would there be in a thousand years? So how many Sundays would there be in a thousand years? How many sabbaths would there be in a thousand years, but yet it's one day. And a thousand years is as one day with God. So there's just one sabbath. And that has to do with the millenium rest which is a spiritual thing to the spiritual Jew that will go through there, enjoy that and pass right on until the great new world, and that is the sabbath of the Jews that they were taught to keep as to that sabbath where they strained at a gnat and swallow a camel. Because in that day God will bring them into their rest, for the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath. Man wasn't made so that the sabbath would harness him and control him and maneuver him and make him do, but the sabbath was made so man could rest. God worked six days, rested on the seventh. And it was made for him to do the things he wanted to do on the sabbath to enjoy the right kind of life. Someone said, You mean to tell me that them folks can do whatever they want to out there. Them folks do what they want to because they don't even know God, let alone the sabbath. Sin is sin. I have people to come to me about double marriages. And they say, Well, I'd like to know whether I'm mixed up in you know adultery, whatever. Said, Well you've been married before? Well two or three times. But I don't know. I say, Well, are you a Christian? Oh no. You planning to serve the Lord? Well, now I'm not ready. What difference does it make you know whether you're mixed up in one, two or ten or whatever, an adulterous generation? It don't make no difference if you got a half a dozen wives. What do you care? You're going to hell anyway. Sin is sin, whether you sin that way or any other way. I'm not the God of the dead, they that are dead in trespasses and sin. I'm not the God of the dead Jesus said, but of the living. Now if you're going to serve God and you are a child of God, you come and we'll straighten this thing out and proportion it out right, and we'll show you the right way here, and we'll get the thing straightened out for you. I'm not going to waste my time with a bunch of beast. Beast don't know nothing about sabbaths or God or anything else. There ain't no need of me being as the Bible said corrupt men and corrupt minds disputing with one another, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. And everything they do is out of vain glory and strife, trying to prove their point. Same way this old racial strife thing is, trying to prove their point and who's their hero. You know whether he's a white hero or whether he's a black hero you know. There's one thing about it, take him like George Washington, I spoke of him the other day and Martin Luther King. We say heros, but the thing is, whether heros or not they're dead. See, what can they do? They can't do nothing for you. And you know what, when you stand before God, they're going to be standing there just like you are as two men, and they're going to answer to God for the corruptible life they lived, or whether they lived the right kind of life, or whether they sought God or did not seek God, or whether they led people into problems and troubles and bloodshed, or whether they lead people into the church for God Almighty and into life. One thing to defend justice and shed blood, to save lives, another thing to be a trouble maker and rise up and cause people to be killed, just because of foolishness, or looking for preeminence or wanting to be something great, and the world is filled with people like that, even with preachers. All right I can't get too far off of my thought because I ain't going to hold you long here. Now, I know I haven't read anything but you can read me. The Bible said, I'm an epistle known and read of all men. All right now so what am I saying? There is a definite difference, a definite distinction between tribes, between races, between Christians, between sinners. I know that ripples the water when I say anything about black and white and races you know, it ripples the water. It goes everywhere. Why does he talk about that? Why don't we talk about something else? Because I'm a preacher. That's my job. Not only talking about today, I may be talking about it tomorrow, and I maybe talking about the next day and the next year and the next year and the next year. Some of you don't like that. But I'll still be talking about it whether you like it or not. See, it is my job. That's where the problem is now. The preacher ain't got enough backbone to stand up and do what he's suppose to do, because people have muddled up things up so. Just that brings to my mind another thought that Billy Sunday said there. The Lord must have been pleased with it as I read that little article. See, he said, you have the people that run the saloons and the people that are out in the world, and the people that are doing all these things in your congregation, and they are the ones that support your congregation and you won't let them go, and you don't say anything because you know they will go. And he said in general you've made a mess out of the church. See, and that's the same way with this racial thing. See, people don't have enough backbone to speak up, because when they speak up they the blacks going to bristle up or the whites going to bristle up, or the Japanese or the Chinese or the whoever's going to bristle up or the Germans or the Spanish is going to bristle up, see, and they don't have enough backbone to preach. And they don't have enough backbone to preach against sin because they're afraid that somebody is guilty of what they say, so they just say God is love, and God wants you to prosper and you put your offering in and we're going to pray for the sick and Glory to God. Let's have a good time. And so you go on and slide down the water slide into hell. So, but the preacher, the Bible said, Now if these men had have stood in my counsel and in my presence they would have caused my people to turn from their sins. Said, now when you go preach you lift up your voice like a trumpet. Don't be afraid of their faces. I'll make your face like as hard as an adamant stone. And you just scream out. You lift up your voice like a trumpet. And you tell my people of their sins. See, if I say something there's a woman over here that's got the wrong kind of outlook, too much authority, is hard and resists me and finds fault in the reasoning of her mind, it's the carnal mind that is enmity with God. I have a man over here and I feel his old fleshly mind and somebody over here and I go to doing this. I grit and grind, and then a little babies they get all out of sorts you know because some of the others get out of sorts that shouldn't get out of sorts that should join me with great strength and stand with me in the spirit in that it's a spiritual battle and then you turn trader and the first news you know, instead of marching with your commander and going on and slaying this thing and getting those devils from out from among us, you know here you are cuddling it, here you are giving place to the devil, and like I say so often when brethren withdraw and those brethren are false brethren and we don't have any company with them, because they want to dabble in the world and we withdraw from them because they're withdrawn from them because they've withdrawn from God and righteousness, then...like an old whorish woman or an old dog you know on the prow as they say. And cause problem because that devil has got you and you're in agreement with them. Two can't walk together unless they be agreed. And when you rise up with one another out there it is because you are in agreement. And then if that just leaves a preacher by himself, what should the preacher do? Close the book, leave and go home, No. Praise God! He needs to preach. He needs to preach. God said, Israel, you're my battle-axe. And when we go to battle I want to use you because you're my battle-axe. And he said, you kill everything that gets in front of you including the women and the children. Said, Don't you leave nothing. And said, Don't you bother their contaminated gold and silver and whatever. I'm not a thief. I'm not a robber. I'm not killing nations to take their little old peanuttyest life as to what they call a treasure. I own all the gold and silver, the diamonds. And I don't want the nations to say, I raised up a bunch of robbers. I'll take care of you. But nevertheless the preachers constantly saying, put in the ten, put in the fifty. I got to have this. I got to have that. You know, but let me tell you something, folks. If you don't have faith to do you don't need to preach. Because that's what preaching is all about. All right we're just about to get too far off our main theme of thought here, so much to say. Now, what am I saying? I said that there was a difference. There was a difference. I had to bring this out anyway. It needed to be on tape. I privately had to tell the men at the meeting the other night, I needed about five or six hours, could have used five hours more and I didn't. I didn't get to use it. I didn't think I was going to get into it tonight. But since we're on this line, I might as well come down the line. Do I believe in integration? Oh yes. One hundred per cent. The birds as I said the other day, they set in the same tree. They fly together. They eat together. They're integrated because they're all birds. Do I believe in integration in marriage? Absolutely not. Somebody said, you just don't believe in the black and white marrying. I absolutely do not. Just as plain as I can be about it. But neither do I believe any other tribe should inter-marry. It's just the same with any other tribe. Well Brother Pike, they're all muddled up. You yourself said they're all mixed up. Why don't you leave it along and not mess with it? Because God sent me to straighten it out. God doesn't want that. It wasn't that way in the beginning when Jesus came. It was adultery, adultery. But he said it wasn't right in the beginning. Now, I'm going to tell you something he said. This writing of divorcement, he said, I'm going to tell you something, if you put away your wife for any other reason saving for the cause of fornication, you commit adultery, and whosoever marryeth her that's put away committeth adultery. And folks, that's the same gospel today. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever, that's the kind of gospel Brother Pike preaches. The same God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that's my God. The God that was in the original, that said, let everything reproduce after it's own kind. That's my God. That's my gospel. That's the same thing. The same yesterday, to every generation, unaltered, unchanged. I will not change the thing or alter the thing that's gone out of my mouth. I will watch over my Word to perform it. I will hasten to perform my work. I send my Word to heal you, to deliver you of all these things. So then the question is: Why don't you leave it along? Then I said like this to as to some brethren, I said, Well, if because it's all muddled up, though God isn't pleased with it, and though God doesn't like it, and God did not make it that way, and the devil has muddled it all up to us all into one unite, to where in this natural world he can have control as one man over all of us and not have numbers of kings, but have a centralized government to where he can run it down to the number 666, control it under a numerical order, because he doesn't have enough sense to do it any other way. God's robbed him like the ostrich of his understanding and wisdom. So then why should I try to straighten it out? Because he wants to come back and get what he planted as the harvest. He doesn't want it muddled up with wheat. He wants to reap the kind of harvest he planted. Somebody said, Well, I can see better than that. I can see farther than that. I said, All right. Go your way. Go with your crowd. Do whatever you want too. There is a preacher for you somewhere. There is an assembly for you somewhere. There is a place in the world for you somewhere. Certainly there's no place in God for you, but there is something for you and that's the reprobate mind to believe a lie and be damned, because you did not love the truth in that judgment begins at the house of God. So then I do not believe in mixing things up. I try to straighten it out for this reason. All flesh has corrupted it's way before God. And they're all mixed up and they're all muddled up. And there's none that doeth good, no not one. Why not just leave them alone and not mess with it? Why bother with it? Because I'm here to straighten it out. God is looking to reap what he planted, and he doesn't want the tares and the briars. He's going to cut them down and weed them out. He said, pluck out the old leaven and be ye a new lump. The leaven will leaven the whole lump. Save the church. Get fornication out of the church. Paul said, You should have moarned before God and got this mess out from among you. It shouldn't be among you. And you shouldn't even talk about it, think about it, not even talk of it one time as becoming saints because I've called you to virtue. And that's your whole conversation. You young girls and boys, men and women, even people that come down at my house you know, they come there, and they want to talk about it, talk about it, talk about it, talk. That's where all their minds are. It's a degraded, debauchery. It's a filthy mess. Why? Because it is a sinful, adulterous generation. They eat it. They drink it. They live it from television and magazines and books and schools and everything else. It started in the garden when they lost the covering it's still going on. I said in cases God has made allowance and he certainly has allowance throughout the world. It's a wonder if he hadn't took our heads off like he almost did Balaam. Joseph when Joseph was down in Egypt, Joseph married an Egyptian. An Egyptian is from the African continent. Joseph is one of the most outstanding, pictorial people in the Bible. And some person that's prejudice would say, Well now there you are Brother Pike, that proves it. Yes, because you're looking for something, that carnal mind of yours that's rebellious and full of resistance is looking for a way out. A weasel tries to get out somewhere. See, but that has nothing to do with it. First of all, God had used Joseph, took him away from his family, his tribe. He had no one to love him or care for him. He had no fellowship. He had no nothing. The Egyptians is different from the Africans as to the profile. They're different in appearance. And they relate somewhat to the Jew in their appearance, just like the Arab does. But nevertheless God had used him and left him down there for a great purpose to show Christ and to show Jesus rejected by the brethren. And to show that Christ would leave the Jews and go get himself a Gentile bride and so then he went down there. And this is how Asenath got into the picture. So then God allowed that because he had become familiar with their ways. He was going to live among them and spend his life among them. His children were going to be raised among them. And in the way that God did it there was no confusion to be caused. Even when his brethren came down, now even though the Egyptian was an abomination in the sight of God, the Bible said, said, An Egyptian he's an abomination to the Jewish people as to the sight of God because they were cattlemen or whatever and the others were sheepherders. It had great significance. But anyway this went on and Joseph became great. Moses, the Lord did the same thing to the extent he was driven out. God had let him kill one of the Egyptians which wasn't any bad situation except the way we look at it, because you kill people all the time. Send them to the electric chair, put them in prison, let them die there, rot there, whatever. And these people some brute beasts, made to be taken and burned, Moses saw and they were molesting his folks, and being cruel to his folks, and he was in the rich side of it with Pharoah, and he just up and killed him, hid him in the sand, and just got him out of the way just like Bush had some of them to kill over yonder, and some of them killed some of your American people over yonder. So it was a time of it, and God did that to get Moses out of Egypt, the land of Egypt, so that he could get him away from Pharoah and the riches and tutor him and raise him up with a great, wonderful understanding as to an educational side of it for his people. Schooling him among the Egyptians, to know their ways, taking him out into the wilderness, and schooling him in the wilderness so he would know the way through the wilderness to get around the slim-pits. And then taking him and sending him back down there as not to be offensive as to those laws and to bring those people out. And God gave him forty years down there to train him and forty years in the wilderness to train him and forty years in the ministry. Because God usually works in forties. There's forty years to Solomon and forty years to David and forty years to Saul as to their administration as kings. Okay, just bear with me a few more minutes and we're going to let you go. I'm just teaching you a little bit tonight. Paul said, I'm a preacher and a teacher. All right now, so there it was supposedly, there is Moses exiled. Lonely, doesn't have any fellowship, anybody. He meets the priest of Median as to the Median daughter, and there he gets to talking with her. And then it's not a matter of color or whatever, it's not a matter of races or whatever, it's a matter of male and female that God has made them to reproduce. And he has that within his body and the woman has that within her body, whether she's at home or whether she's exiled or whatever. And as the Bible said, Even as the young widows wax wanting and will sin against God through the violation of the Word. And he supposedly married a dark woman, no real proof of that. But as would be an Ethiopian so that you would think. But whether true or whether not, he married, and obviously out of his tribe. So then again we say, Well glory to God, that proves it right there. Now that proves it. All right so you got your proof now. Now I want to take a look on the other side. Now here is Moses and finally the law came. Finally the Word of God came. Finally sin was revealed by the law in that he knew that the sins of Adam had killed them. Finally the Lord secular, segregated. And he said, Now Moses irregardless to the fact that he was married to whatever, he said, Moses this is my people. And they will not intermarry, no not with anybody. They won't intermarry with anybody. And he said to Israel, if you do you'll suffer the wrath of God and they did with Baal-peor. History gives it and God killed thousands of them, because they took those women. And then a little further over as I said in my service the other day, there came the time when they inter-married about the time they were down in Babylon with the Babylonian people, and when Nehemiah called for the record to bring them back into a unite as to the tribes they couldn't come in. They didn't understand. He said, You'll have to get rid of your wife, get rid of your children. And when Sanbalot who had got mixed up as to a half-breed, he wouldn't let him in at all. So that was the only way that they could get back. And Moses having married the woman, nothing is said about it as to displease God whatsoever, but it worked it's typical thing as to down to a tee because the earth opened up and swallowed all of them that mumbled and grumbled against Moses even though they did not marry out of their tribe because they would not listen at Moses and they murmured. And then when time came to go into the Canaan land, Moses didn't get to go in. Why? One of the things is because it had a symbolic meaning that he had married into darkness and darkness and light hath not fellowship. And though it was said, he was faithful in all of his house, but the same with Jesus. Did Jesus actually go into the presence of the Father as to his death? Absolutely not, why, because it was as to a marriage into darkness. He become your sin as that woman in the body, and did not go into Canaan. And Moses was a type of that, because Jesus died and God gave his only son, rejecting him because he come in the form of sin that he might receive you as it was with Moses when Moses said, Blot my name out. And God said, I'll blot out the man's name that does the wrong. But anyway he worked it just perfectly. And so then Joshua as to the Christ that came forth in the new form as to light as to Caleb, picked up the children, the body of darkness was left. And the aged died in the wilderness and all of them died there for their murmuring; and God to show the new birth, to be born again, picked up the children, went over the Jordan of the intellectual mind of this old racial strife as we would say in this day, this old gossiping, this old back-biting, this old thing of having it your way and whatever, and just went right on over into the mind of Christ and the mind of peace, and of course it would take hours to go into what we need to go into or even again. But then we see that God delivered them. There was a reason as the song we wrote: there is a reason for every time and every season. There is a reason why men die. So when we consider it we know everything is right in stride. Everything is working just right. You may not understand because you've never given yourself a chance to understand. We are so prone to be uncomfortable because of luxuries. We can't do like Jesus did in praying all night long until the sweat becomes as blood, or being in inconvenience as to dwell in a cave or whatever. We can't stand to be without food or to fast and to pray. We can't stand to set still for an hour or two and listen or to get down on our knees and get in a room of solitude and just weep and wail before God. We can't stand that. We're just, we're just a bunch of sissys. But anyway not all. So getting on here because I want to get back to the original thought there and close. But I want to clarify this first because there is a lot of problems going on across the entire world with this situation, and the thing needs to be cleared up, that people can know once and for all that these people that are forcing these things to try to force these things over people, they don't know and they don't want to hurt anybody and they don't want to cause any trouble whether they're black or whether they're yellow or whether they're red. I've been into all kind of countries and they don't want to hurt nobody. But and they don't know. They say well this man he preaches a good story you know. He persuaded me. And of course then the Bible said, They that were completely free from these things are lead into captivity by these strong, forceful spirit. And then they're in trouble, and everything is a conglomeration of a mess. Well anyway, here when we look at it and we consider these things then we see what God is doing. And we see what God has done. See, that's why I say as to these things that we're speaking of. Even in the thought, is there a difference? Does God make a difference? I say in the spirit, he integrates, so then someone would say, Well, in the spirit Brother Pike, you said, there's neither male nor female. You said, in the spirit there's neither Greek nor Jew, Black nor White, Spanish, Caucasion, whatever it might be, English. I said that, and that is true. So then somebody said, Well, we're not of the world, Brother Pike. We are the body of the Lord Jesus Christ and we are in the spirit. How is it then that you teach this thing? I teach this because Paul said, there is a glory of the celestial, there is a glory of the terrestrial. And Paul said as to the spirit on the inside which are sons of God, in that God is a spirit. For now beloved are ye the sons of God. It does not yet appear as the son. You cannot see him with your natural eye. He is an indwelling angelic being of a spirit that's become interwoven with Christ as to the spirit of Christ crying: Abba Father. See, this spirit, this angelic force, that is what Paul said, Being in the spirit. Your spirit is no longer in the flesh, but Christ came into your heart and your spirit left the flesh because Jesus killed the flesh by his body, took you out of the flesh, and he hid your spirit in his spirit as to hide in Christ, taken away to that heavenly world, and that is your life as to the life being in the spirit, no life in the flesh, that is hide with Christ. And when he your life appears, your body will be changed. And these vile wretched bodies as to the bastard child image shall be changed into the glorious image of the Son of God. And therefore the bodies as called the creature shall enjoy the liberty of these sons of God. But beloved friend right now, you are still a natural body of your own natural race, of your own natural people, and of your own natural color, your own natural traits and characteristics which are altogether different, and you're just now coming together to try to put them together. And what you're doing you're making a mess. Someone would say, Well I don't understand how you say that? I say that because all people have a different God, and that's the thing that overthrowed Solomon. All people have a different God. And now we've invited these people in and now their gods are here and they are practicing their gods. I've been there when they would excuse themselves and step away and I took a peak. And I'd think well he's a business man I'm talking too. I wonder why he would do that? And I'd see him go in there and kneel down before his god and whatever you know. And now the whole land is full of gods burning all kind of incense, going to some of the Indian places where they have these motels and you smells like incense. See, so then I say that in the spirit there's neither male nor female, which means in heaven or as to your spiritual being, they're not male and female. They are as the angels. Angels are spirits. He said, I make my angels spirits in the spirit, the spiritual part, pardon me, the spiritual part of you. But if God was talking about the body, somebody said, But I'm bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh, Brother Pike. I know that. We say, potentially, potentially, more than potentially. But you are only in the foreknowledge of God. And you are actually bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh because all of God's works are known to Him from the beginning. This was given you in Christ before the world ever was as to a completeness in Christ, body, soul, and spirit, Paul said. I'll present you blameless. But you've not made your change. You are waiting for your change and you've not made your change. Job said, I'll wait for my change; and you've not made your change which means you're still male and female in the body. And it's, you are still reproducing. And it says that you being in the body, the spirit has gone back to God who gave it and the body is dead. It knoweth not anything. So you're numbered with them that are dead. Even those that are dead in trespasses and sin, only in that you died in the faith or went to sleep, not dead as they are, but asleep and shall be awakened. But to the world dead. All right so then you are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. And someday it shall appear for you shall be changed. And it's already a finished product in God, nothing can change it. Now I said this to some of the brethren. If it doesn't make any difference, if there is no difference now that we're in the spirit, then I can tell that you should be in agreement with the woman that said she was a preacher with 28,000 perverts, which she married man to man and woman to woman. Because if there's no difference in the spirit as to male and female and you say that's the body, the woman can get up and preach, and there's no difference, why is it that you couldn't just marry a man as well as a woman? You're just going to have to go along with the perverted side of life as to the gays and say hey, you know, what can I say, they're right? You know they ain't right. God burned Sodom and Gomorrah because of it. See, why not marry you a man instead of a woman, and you women why not marry you a woman instead of a man? You're so determined to marry a man, why? And you're so determined to marry a woman, why, if there's no difference? Somebody said, Well, there is a difference. Well, why do you put a woman up to preach if there's a difference? Paul said, I suffer not the woman to do that. He was a Gentile overseer. I don't suffer the woman to do that. I don't suffer the woman to have authority. You understand what I'm saying? If there's no difference as to these things, then why not get you a half a dozen wives. Solomon had wives and concubines. So did David. What's the difference? Somebody said, Well, I'd never do that. Or we'd never do that in this age. Why? I know of numbers of them, married one time, two times, three times. I believe they said, one had married maybe a hundred times and they caught him. And there is men like a woman, I won't call the name because it would reflect a preacher that's a very devout man. But as to his daughter, been married three times, raised up as one of the finest homes and preachers that, even today, mothers or whatever, married three times. And when somebody quized her of why she left her husband, she said, I must have shared my husband with a thousand women, my first husband. See, married to a harlot then are you a harlot. You can put away your wife. But for no reason except fornication. You can put away your husband. Somebody said, Well, the woman can't do that. The Bible said she can, but only for fornication. All right let's hurry along now. We just got just a few more things here to say. We're just going to round it off. So why not do like that if there's no difference? Why not just take you a whole slew of them? All right, so then there must be a difference. You are the one that's making it. You decided there is a difference. You are the one that sinned. You are the one that brought death. And as death come by man, so came life by the man Christ Jesus, for a man had to bring it back. All these virtues was lost because of man, and God has called us back to these virtues and to these glories. As it was so in the beginning to reproduce after their kind, we're not to cause confusion. All these things cause confusion. Let us abide in our callings wherein we were called. So getting back to the original thought of all of the problems started because of the nakedness of a woman, the nakedness of a woman. And when Adam took that on as to that mind, his mind became naked, because the Shekinah glory that was over their minds and over their bodies lifted and that pure, sweet, loving thing that covered them, and it left and the devil was there, and the terrors and fears and frustrations, death, sickness, sorrow, intermingling, interwoven, the violation of the segregated way of God, and has been nothing but death and horror and sorrows ever since. So let her be covered unless she's shorn as to just be naked. Now let the government be on the shoulders. And remember she needs her covering because of the angels. Because if she cuts her hair short, it's the same as if she was shaven. And demon spirits can then get to her spirit, because when she cut her hair, she took her covering of. She became like as a topless or these things of today that are in such shape that they're in, she gave herself to every ill thought and every devil, just like the people are in letting their children dress out in shorts, that shows you how much sense that they've got. And I don't mean this wrong, the whole world, somebody says, but Brother Pike this is the modern generation. They've got to have preachers of today that understand them. And preachers actually get caught in that. Young preachers get swept away. This is the day when you got to move in and understand them people and work with them and you know be part of them. Just like in the other generation. Folks, Jesus said, this generation, he didn't say nothing about it being modern and enlightening. He said it is a sinful, adulterous generation that he would burn with fire. I don't want to move in and learn about them and live like a bunch of animals and don't even marry or anything else. I don't want to be part of their parading around as to the nakedness. Like Brother Branham said one time, it comes to my mind when he saw what was suppose to be the church, he said, I looked and these people coming up in the arrear that was marching, he spoke of them being half-naked, all this streaking and all these kind of things to show that the covering of God is gone in the last days as God found them in the evening time of life. So then I don't want to be part of it. I want to preach against it. I want to hold the standards. Ask for the old paths. Walk therein and you'll find rest to your soul. Don't look for modern paths. See, you're not looking for that. You're looking for God's Word. Satan is trying to modernize you and get you away from God. Just like Billy Sunday said, If you're going to have money and people that's choking off of knowledge, then you're going to rot. All right just give me a few more minutes and I am closing. Now, what then am I saying? I am saying that because she has rejected her husband's government as to constraint and control, she rejected his spirit, she severed the tie. See, we get married. We say, Well, God made us one. Doesn't matter if the preacher marries us or the judge marries us, it don't matter if we just make an agreement to live together like dogs, we're one. And of course the law has got so upset with this and the system because they're getting robbed of their pennies and their dollars until they've decided now if you stay with each other x amount of months, they count you man and wife and make you go through all of it and pay your taxes and all the other things, just like they would otherwise pay them. See, because they're going to get their money. They don't care whether you live like hogs or whatever. As a matter of fact, a lot of them is your kinfolks. So what is it then when the woman is in that kind of condition? Did God tie them together? Of course not, he don't joint a temple of Belial to a temple of God. He doesn't join darkness to light. He doesn't do that. That's confusing. He doesn't do that. Then how do we get married? There's only one way. God is love. He is the spirit of charity, the spirit of sacrificial love. And when God is in your heart, and God is in this man's heart, or to the woman to the man, the man to the woman, then they're drawn together with this unit of love, their spirits, because God is the God of spirit. The flesh profiteth nothing. It's a little house to live in. And when they're joined together, love.... And let not man set asunder or meddle with what I have joined together. So then them people out there are like dogs. They have an philia love which is a lust. They are joined together. They are joined together in lust. That's why they don't live together. That's why they always just marry anybody, anything, anyway and they'll continue to do it until the fire is dropped on their head, or until they're dropped into the fire. But you that love God have a chance to be joined together. The Word itself as to the ministry as God joined Adam and Eve together as the first marriage. He said this is your wife and this is your flesh. And through us as God speaks, it's the same thing. You know and when it's love, it'll stay together, folks. And the church is built with this mortar of love as to charity, it will hold them together. But the denominational things of the world and the ritualistics of the world and teachings and all these things of the world are bonded together with the intellectual mortar of foolishness and of greed and selfishness and ideology and the foundation is sand. Because who is a rock but our God? And our house is built on the rock and theirs on the sand and it will wash away. When the storm comes, and that's why every wind of doctrine moves them about from place to place. So then what are we saying as to the ultimate thought as here as to Eve? I am saying that when you reject your husband's spirit, once you reject it you are naked because he's your head. He's your covering. And when you reject it, that means the angel's, the fallen angels are looking on you, and the fallen angels can enter into you, because your spirit has no covering and protection as to strength, in that the woman is the weaker vessel. And the woman showing that indicates that you that are in the flesh, that are not the body of Christ, that is not the church, when you hear this gospel and you have a chance with this and you turn and won't follow the head which is Christ Jesus, as to the membership of this great God body, that you are not that body. You've rejected that and the devils will enter into you whether it be seven devils as in Mary Magdeline, or the devil that comes back to make eight devils, when one's cast out of you, when you're cleaned up by sanctification, or whether it be a legion of devils that went into the man in the tomb that gave him enough strength to break chains, just like the spirit of God gave Samson enough strength to rend the lion. So we could go on and go on commenting on this, but if you would take what few things we say from time to time, put them together in your mind, think these things over, then God would open up great avenues of thoughts that would take you into the revelation of Christ Jesus. And you would be called the repairer of the breach. You will be called the repairer of the breach. And your health will return unto you speedily. And your reward shall be the Lord, and your light shall break forth as the morning, and shall go before you, and it shall come to pass that before you call He's already wrought a work for you, as the predestinated he hears before you call. It was given to you in Christ before the world ever was to be perfect, and the fullness of you in Christ Jesus and being a part of the wonderful body of Almighty God. Let's stand together. Just a few little thoughts there tonight to help clear up things and still the waters. He will calm the troubled waters of your soul. He will get the ripples out the water and He will lead you beside the still waters. Waters had to do with people. Which means if you follow God, He will lead you to people that are calm, that have the tranquility of peace in their hearts and that love one another. He won't let you go out where the raging waves are as to foaming out their shame. And as to those billows of destruction as to those that are wild and rentless, as the song said, I'll sail the wild seas no more. All right let's sing this little chorus. (Sings: Without Him I Can Do Nothing) Sing that with me. (Sings) Sing that with me now. (Sings) One more time together now, sing it with me. (Sings) You see why I preach against women wearing pants. You understand. It's taking on authority. She not only bobs her hair like a man, but the next thing you know she's wearing pants, even in the churches of today. In the Old Testament, it was said, thou shalt not mingle thy garment. You shall not mingle wool and linen. You see why I teach a segregated strictness with God. It was said that when they come into the santuary, as to the innermost as to the holy place, don't let them wear wool. Don't let them wear anything that will create sweat while they're in my presence because sweat has a derogative thing as to understanding or definition as to corruption and that which is of the beast. Let them have on linen clothes that they will not cause them to sweat. And when they go back out let them take them off and put them in the holy place. So we know that God is a great God. Do we then, are we then a segregatinalist? Absolutely to the tee. Are we then an integrationalist? Absolutely to the tee. Are we a Christian? Absolutely to the tee. What are thenwe? What are we then in Christ? We are a Christian. Is there integration then in Christ? No. Is there segregation in Christ? Oh no. Even as in the heavens there will be segregated things. There are cherubs. There are seraphims, and there are the regular angelic beings like Gabriel. And then there is the angelic being as to the woman and as to the man that lived in this earth. See, so then, what is integration and segregation? We're only that in the Word as to what the Word teaches, as to use the Word rightfully as to integrate the right way, to love one another and not to have respect of person or to show difference between one another. See, isn't what the white man wants respect and the black man wants respect and the yellow man and the red man they want respect? Isn't that right? It's like me and Johnny was talking, I said, Johnny, would you want to come over and live in the house with me for now on with your family? Oh no. He felt like it would be crowded. I said, I wouldn't want to come over here and live with you either. Somebody said, Well, you know just the white thing. Oh no. My wife and I when we were in Jamaica, that's what we did. We lived in a black home. We preached to black people. In Africa, those people are the government. They run everything, the banks, the stores, that's their country. You do what they say do or you don't do at all. If they want to put you in jail, whether you're white or yellow or whatever you are, they do it. The same way over here in the white man's country. See, and God is allowing each country to open their country to the other people that they might be brothers to come in and out, and some are doing it and some are taking advantage. But anyway, we can see that God hath made a difference, and not a difference as a respect of person, just to have respect. Two or three families don't need to live in the same house whether they're black or white, because it is symbolic of devils that crowd into one body as it was eight devils coming into you when you're clean and sanctified. God doesn't like it. And where you find it it's no good. You start letting the son come and stay home after he's done married off, and him just living any old way, unless it's a matter of a mother by herself and he's going to try to do right, you are in violation of God's Word and you got a mess. I know, I say this, a lot of people say, Well, I got to look after my son. When he gets so old you know, he's out there among them people. I got to look after him. You sure have. Somebody said, Well, I got to keep him out of these problems. You call keeping him out of problems, he lives out there with the pigs all day. He runs with them all night long. He is at leisure to do what he wants too, he curses, he snorts, he does everything he wants too, and he doesn't listen to you or anybody else. He is dirty as a pig and then he comes in your house and you give him a place to live. And you say you're protecting him. Don't you have more sense than that to know he's just shaking the slop off in your house and wrecking you and forcing you to a compromise? And the only life that he would have he's putting out. And you don't have enough understanding to do anything about it, whether it's a girl or boy or whatever. See, and so you don't want to bunch up in houses. You don't want to do that. Let every person have their own house. Let every man make his own living. Don't let him leach and carry. Help him as even to the children to a point. See, and children are suppose to help parents. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees saying these children were suppose to help their parents. But today children are thine oppressors, and women do rule over thee as to the flesh, and they that leave thee do cause thee to error, the Bible said. So be a man, don't be a brute beast. So he said, well what do you mean by that, Brother Pike? I mean, let's love one another. You just want respect. I respect your wife. I respect your children. I respect you as a human being. I think of you, not as to color, not as to the Caucasian or as to the Negro or not as to the Spanish or not as to the English or the German or any other thing. I think of you as a human being. No matter what you are, there's neither Greek nor German nor Japanese nor White man or Black man, whatever it might be. If you would check back, you'd find out that Martin Luther King realized that some people were so ignorant, that having been prejudice that they did not recognize the Black man as a human being, but as some kind of animal. So he done away with the word Negro, which is the proper terms. Just like Caucasian is for the others. See, and he said, Black man because he wanted to put the word man with the Black so that when they looked at him they would know that they was looking at a man just like they're a man or the black woman. She's a human being. See, it was foolish to begin with but God suffered it all because it had to do with darkness and light. It had to do with the typical things as to the spiritual world, and God used us all. Why should we grumble and complain? It was God using us. If we submit to it and come into the right way, then we have been an example to the world, we've been a tool for God, and we're staying in our calling, and we will be rewarded accordingly. Even the woman shall be saved in childbearing if she continue in holiness and be sober as to sobriety. See, so you want respect. I want you to have it. I don't look at you any other way but as a man and a woman. When people look at you another way, they are ignorant. They just don't have good understanding. Those folks are to be pitied, not to be criticized, whether it's Black or White that gets into this rut of racial strife. See, and when I look at you, I see the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, members in particular, because I'm looking beyond the veil as to color and these things. And I'm looking into a world of spirit, not to know you after the flesh, but after the spirit. For the Bible says that we're not to know any man after the flesh. Somebody says, but that white man he's better than I am and he thinks he's better than I am. And I just feel this way. Well what caused that wasn't black or white. It was the lack of education. Because I happen to know that when you are white born and you don't have an education you feel the same way toward them that do have an education, you have the inferiority about you that creates the complex. So you're just ignorant and don't understand. See, but the thing is it's not that way now. You have your freedom of rights. Today you have your legislative rights. Today you have education. Some of the most intelligent people in the world are of all colors. You have money, riches, millions and billions of dollars. You are in control of law and everything else. Somebody said, But we don't have enough. I know. You definitely don't have enough, because it isn't that you want them in there so that you can have the decency of respect. It's your one desire and pace in life to take over so you can rule, and it will come to pass as gross darkness covers the people. But those people won't be rewarded of God. Antichrist will take them and slay them and their blood will run to the horse's bridle, because they're devils, brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed. And the white is idenitically the same way. There are Whites that despise Black and though they're slick and cunning with the tongue like silver or like oil, but they'll cut your throat if they have to do it by philosophy with education to invite you over, to be part of their operations and to lift you up and make them look like something and give you some kind of office over here and make you a slave to tribute with a little prestige and fellowship you, because they're the ones with the money and the leisure and you're the one that's doing the work; and you'll be so blind and guilible, you'll never do, you'll never know any difference, and they'll swallow you up as to the Black with the White and the Whites with the Black and the Yellow and the Red and all until all of you die and go to hell and fall into the grave and come before God, and suddenly God will let you know how ignorant that you've been. But folks, in God you're free. You have your proclamation immancipation of all nations in God, in God. God gave it. And that's the way it is. This is that divine proclamation emancipation of your freedom and you're in bondage no more to the law or the beggarly elements of this world. You are now children of grace and children of God and heirs as children, joint-heirs, partakers of the benefit because you are children. So let us stand steadfast in our liberty and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage as to the beggarly elements of this world, because Paul said, I'm persuaded to believe that this heavenly treasure that's to be revealed in you that you already have that, it is not to be compared as to the beggarly elements of this world that has drug you down. Or the beggarly elements of the terrestrial glory is not to be compared with this life of Christ as to the celestial glory on the inside, it's no comparison. See, so let's love the Lord, let's serve the Lord, let's give respect to one another, because when I look at you I don't see you as a Black woman and a Black man. I don't know you after the flesh. And when you look at me if you see me as a white man, you are a power of evil and you are wretched as to a discriminating thing. You're very eyes discriminate and you are evil and you are wretched. If you look at me like that as a Black man there's one thing I told the brethren, I said, Don't come into my presence as a Black man or as to my wife's presence as a Black woman. You come in as a child of God. And I'll know you as a child of God because you're my brother and my sister. And you don't take a bow to me because you're Black, or you don't get that old prejudice feeling, Bless God. I know he thinks I'm Black. That right there puts a boundary between us because that's the mind of the devil. And don't come in being haughty, just because white folks around somewhere, and you want to follow this old prejudice thing, and you're just, and I'm not mocking, I'm just illustrating. You know and you're just one of them, you're a loud mouth everywhere you go, white and black alike, saw some white the other day up here, the same way in the court house, and you come in with a ha, ha, ha, ha, you know, and you come in and hey John and Jack and come over and smack you know and hug, knowing that your're just full of the devil and the flesh. You be a lady. You be a gentlemen. You conduct yourself that way. You know, hugging your neck I think is wonderful for the opportunity. Someone would say, why? Because I'm not stupid enough as the world uses the terms to look at you and not realize that you're the body of Almighty God. You are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. You and I are knitted together, and that as to the arms and the legs, and we are one and we're unionized in Christ where there's no confusion as to an integration, and that you're the very temple of Almighty God, and that God lives in you and God talks in you and I could not be more stupid as to the word used again than to disfellowship you and know you after the flesh to the extent, that I would disdain you in my eyes and to be something less than I am, when I'm commanded, whether it's yellow, white, red or whatever to esteem my brother better than myself, to look on my brother, and to seek the welfare of my brother, for I am my brother's keeper. This crazy thing of trying to make God white or black or yellow or red, that's again stupid. I can't think of a stronger word. That's why I started to using that word like that. I feel like the word stupidity, that must have been awarded to the devil. That must be something, that's about the hardest thing I can think to say and still meet it according to a diplomatic approach. So let's not be ignorant as Paul said. You're my brother. These people that think any other way other than I'm thinking and what I'm telling you, they are ignorant and they are blinded by this ignorance that's on the inside of them. And it's they're carnal mind of enmity. They are troublemakers. I don't know Jesus after the flesh because he was made sin. So I'm not going to know him as sin. I know him as the resurrected Christ. I know no man after the flesh, but to love one another. We are spirits. He was a quickening spirit. We're born of the spirit and as He is so are we in Him. Now, if you can fathom that, if you can receive that, that's of God. If you can do that, we can have a good time in the Lord, we can work together. We can be people, and you can have your due respect out of that, my due respect, and we'll all love one another and walk along together. I'll tell you one thing, if you was on the battlefield and two men had a gun black and white and another was yellow and another was red, and the enemy was coming over the hill, I'll guarantee you wouldn't want to get rid of the red man nor the black man nor the white man or the yellow man either, you'd want all that you could get. When they go to have war, they try to have all that they can get. And when you take the black man out of the picture, it's a horrible situation. Betty and I lived in Nebraska, I'll tell this right hurriedly, it was a rule that a black man could not be there, could not even pass through the city I believe it was. And you don't think you'd miss the black man. You say, Well, I wouldn't miss it. I wouldn't miss the Red man. Oh yes, you just don't know. You just don't understand. You just don't understand. All of them have more than a significance of just being there. First of all if you didn't have the Black man there would be no possible way that you could receive the Revelation of Jesus Christ, no way. Because he represents a certain part of it. How can you get an education if you don't have a book on chemistry? How can you if you got a book on geography, or the geographic locations as we say, but as to chemistry as to the chemicals, as to the blood and the body, if you had one and didn't have the other, or what could you do? What could you do? As to the books of algebra, and the different kinds of books as to the numerical system, see as to the one, two, three. What would you do? You couldn't get an education. You could learn about one thing, but that wouldn't be a balanced education. All right so then we need every bit of it. You can't do without the white man. The world is going to do without God because He's cutting them off. They're all mixing and mingling. And in doing that they're do away with their opportunity to get to heaven. At the same time they're doing away with the Word, with their translations and revised versions. Turning them over to reprobate mind because they don't honor this book. They do not like to retain Christ in their heart. So God's given them over to a reprobate mind. So then we're walking together. We know that we all have a purpose. But anyway as to what I was telling about Nebraska. Betty and I finally left Nebraska and coming down the road, we'd often swamp about the Black man and whatever because as a boy coming up with them like I said, and coming down the road when we got down in the southern part, this place, I looked and I could see the fields of grain and I could see the trees and the sunshine, and then I could see the different people, and all of a sudden I saw a little Black boy, and he was setting out under a tree and he had him a watermellon. That watermellon was just as red as it could be on the inside, and he had him a rainbow slice of it, and his little old teeth shined you know like new money. It looks like Black people sometimes have the prettiest teeth there are in the world you know. And man he was digging in that thing, and I mean he was tearing it away. And my wife we just about had what they call a spell. I said that's about the prettiest sight I ever seen in my life. See, because I had been with the kids. We had busted into the watermellons when I was a boy and we'd chomp into them together you know. And when you don't have a place in your heart for the Black man or you don't have a place in your heart for the white man or the yellow man or the red man, how are you going to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature? You don't care about the creatures, but God loves them. Now I challenge you here at Bethlehem or any person in the entire world to prove to me scripturally or by means of any literature from the foundation of the world historically speaking as to his story, that is sound mind writings or teachings, prove to me that God loves a white man one tiny iota better than a Black man, or that he thinks one bit different. And when he speaks, he said, what I say to one I say to all. His plan is for all. But we do have to keep down confusion. Confusion's of the devil, and the Bible said, We are peacmakers and they that make peace shall be called the children of God. God is the one that segregated in color, character. Segregated them in the different parts of the world, and he is the one that gave them their color. He's the one that did it. See and he gave them their countries. And though he's allowed us to come back together, yet we're suppose to come back not in confusion as the old tower of babel as it's going to be, but we're suppose to come back in love to love one another. Because as to the natural birth, Eve is the mother of all living. All of us come from Eve. Folks, when we as to being a part of the world, we're not of mother Eve. That child died and was buried, and now we are of our mother New Jerusalem which is the holy city as to the lively stones which are you and I as to my mother and my brother and sister Jesus said, who is the mother of us all. So Jesus said, Love one another. Let's just sing another chorus or two together and we're going to let you go. The altars are open. I take quite a bit of time to be explicit and to detail these things even in close out, because as I say, you can come and ask questions. You can talk with brethren, but when these go into a foreign country or into another city or state or wherever, somebody will start listening at this and then they'll wonder, Well, why didn't he say that, or I don't understand this. And you know, and all of a sudden it's a confusion. That's why I fuss a little bit because you won't stay with me right down to the tee. Satan loves to muddle it up before I can clarify it. Let's sing: I Love Him. Altogether again now. (Sings) The altars are open. Do you love Him? How do I know that I love Him? The same way I know I've got faith. I do the things that please Him. That's my proof of love, for you're not going to love in word but in deed. How can I do that? As looking at the races, like I told you to love one another, to esteem others better than yourself, to seek the welfare of another. Not to look on the things of your own, not to have self esteem. This doctrine will bring peace. This doctrine will bring life. This doctrine will bring happiness. But the rebellious devils who have minds that's contrary to this will be trouble-makers and they will always cause problems in the world. And as the Bible said, From whence cometh wars? Is it not of the lust that wareth in your members? And people that will not follow this, watch these people in any phase of this that I've taught you, and watch and see if they're wandering stars. They will never do anything to help. They will never stand up with the right thing. They will never be tender and loving. They will never have a meek, humble spirit. They will never adapt themselves to anything, and they'll always be contrary. They'll never conform to the wonderful mind of Christ. Once again. (Sings) Someone would say, Well Brother Pike, what are you going to do about people whose hair don't grow long enough to get down on their shoulder? Well as a rule it does, Black, White, whatever. I know sometimes the Black say, Well mine won't do it. That's because they kink it off and burn it off and clip it off while they'll be another Black girl she's got long hair you know. They use that and they think I'm ignorant enough not to know what they're doing, but I know what they're doing. I'm just not upset with you. I'm not trying to hurt you. I love you. I want to help you, but God ain't interested in hair. He's interested in your soul. But we do need to remember the symbolics just like we do in everything else, because it causes us to if we don't gather with him we scatter abroad. Somebody said, Well you mean to tell me, you don't believe that anybody can cut their hair? I never said anything at all about not believing a person could cut their hair. I believe a person can trim their hair just like they trim their fingernails. I know people's hair that's done become a parasite. It's done growed so long until it's taken their strength away from them. I believe they can do that. Of course I do. You know you trim your toenails and your fingernails, your hair. You should care for your hair, you should think of your hair. Somebody said, Well it's my glory. I don't want to cut my glory off. You could make a mess out of your glory by not taking care of it. Look like rats lived in it, you know. Somebody would say, Well, how far does this thing go? Well, I wouldn't comb my hair because in combing your hair you're going to pull out a hair or two and lose your glory. Leave it up there. It'll be all right. Just don't lose none of it. That's, that's, I want use that word again. That's ignorance. I'll put it like that. All right let's just sing together, can we? Let's lift our hands up together. I'm not going to hold you at a long altar call because you was kind enough to listen. Let's be children of God and let's be a people of headship of leadership. And let's us be those that God uses to where we can leave an example for the others. And let them see as to our brothers and sisters, our black brothers and Spanish brothers and all of them loving one another and being together, with making no difference you know between them, and let's do the right thing and let's not be a trouble maker, and let's not cause confusion, folks. Let's don't do that. And let's don't bring sorrow and heartaches to little ones, you know. Let's don't do that. Okay, we'll sing together one more time. Close our eyes and lift our hands up. (Sings: I Will Praise Him) I'm going to ask Brother Billy Kirk to come up and dismiss us. (Sings) One other thing I'd like to say while you're worshipping the Lord. We get the wrong idea about a permissable will and a perfect will of God. Folks, don't ever try to get to heaven on a permissable will. You go on to perfection. Try to do that which is perfect. Because a permissable will is an allowance. That is to say, God says, Go to Nineva, if you don't want to ride the ship in His perfect will you can be carried over in the belly of hell as Jonah said. I cried from the belly of hell. See, it is something to catch you like a back up to get you where you're going. Don't do that. Follow the Word of the Lord. And as to the permissable will. Don't try to get over because if you try to get over with a permissable will, that means you don't get over at all. You have to try to get over with a perfect will. And then if you stumble and stagger and you get careless, you know God chastens them that he loves. Jonah went to Nineva. He done the perfect will of God to the extent that he represented the Lord Jesus Christ in the belly of hell. As Jonah was in the belly of the whale so shall the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth. He went to Nineva, though he headed for Tarshish. But see the perfectness of it was not in Jonah as to the blessing. Jonah lost the blessing and went through the terrors of night. God's going to have his way. It's going to work out right for him.
