The Rent Veil

... man Christ Jesus. Let us go on, the Bible said, on to perfection. Not turning again to lay the foundation that of dead works and repentance toward God, but let us go on to be perfect. And the minister is set here, the Bible said, for the perfecting of your faith. So, let us go on to the full measure and to the full reward. Let us go on to be perfect, for the Bible said every one that be perfect shall be as his master. I've over come and I've set down in the throne with my Father. And he that overcometh shall set down in the throne with me. And I say so often, heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool, which means a lot of room up there to where we can set down with the Father. All right. I see Susie, she's here this morning, her and Dale. They were able to come and be with us out of the Carolinas, and also Myron and Gracie. They were able to come and from over in the Bahamas and be with us. And then Ricky and Becky coming from up in Alaska, they're here with us. And then I saw Cynthia and Wayne come in with Sammy and Suzanne, and I think Georgie and Fabian and Misty. There's just quite a number of them here this morning. I think Danny and Joe is here, and I know David is here. I saw him come in just a few minutes ago. So with all of them, as to Susie, Gracie, Dale and Cindy. Where is Dale? Okay, Dale. I didn't see Dale come in. She come in with Cindy. But maybe all of these are going to help me. How many of you would like to see that? I really appreciate that toward my children. We'll be here tonight, the good Lord willing, for the baptismal service. Rob is in now. He had to go help them get some chairs, I think, and some things for the afternoon gathering. We'll have the baptismal service tonight, Brother Taylor, so far as I know. I want to correct this, because I had announced it for 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon; which we usually have it about that time, but in that it's going to be in the church it will be tonight. It will be kind of unusual to have a baptismal service during the service, but God does unusual things. Here we don't follow any ritualistics; we just follow the Spirit. The Bible said, As many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the Sons of God. When I say that I don't mean that I believe in just going in and setting down and saying, whoever has the message preach. I think that's a bunch of foolishness. Somebody said, You shouldn't have said that, Brother Pike, there's a lot of that going on. I know. I've been mixed up in some of it. I never will forget when I was the pastor of a little church over in the state of Nebraska. Somebody said, Come and go with me to this special service. This was a special people; a special service, and I'm sure there must have been some lovely people there, people that loved the Lord that just didn't understand. Didn't have any system; didn't have anything. You know, God has got a system, even as to the Sun coming up and going down, and the stars and whatever. Scientists say that you can't hardly find a flaw in it, it is so accurate and it's so consistent as a system. Daylight and dark, go to sleep and wake up, eat and drink, work, whatever. But anyway, I've told this before, when I went there to this service, I set there, we all set there waiting to see who had the message. Well, consequently nobody seemed to have it at that time so the lady that was setting out there with her little baby, her little baby had a dirty diaper, so she took the liberty, you know, and the time and went up and laid him on the altar and changed his dirty diaper. Folks, now, you say, Why do you think that happened? Because God wanted to show them how foolish they were not having some kind of system. That don't sound to good, does it? But they say tell it like it is. That's the way it happened. Let's give the Lord a hand. You know what needed to have been done? The pastor, the Bible said, Pastor, evangelists, teachers and whatever. The pastor should have been up there and when that lady started up he should have said, Wait a minute, Lady, you don't do those things in the house of God. The Bible said that you ought to know how to behave yourself in the house of God. You don't just go in in the midst of a bunch of people and just set there and say, When the Lord moves, you know. They might all be backslid. The Lord might not move at all. He might have had a pastor there that might not have been backslid that could have brought a message. So we believe in system. We believe in doing it like Paul said when he spoke of Timothy and the others. He said, And I'll send to you whosoever you approve by your letter. And when I say that I don't mean as these letters where they pass them around, you know, sending them from church to church. But it is true that they've got Bible for that. And as it was with Paul when he said, I desired that a certain one come unto you but it was not his pleasure at this time. He wanted to do other things. Paul did not encroach upon his sovereignty even though he was the overseer of the Gentile church, but he left it to his sovereignty. So, as many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the Sons of God. But folks, let me tell you. You remember this all the days of your life, being led by the Spirit of God don't mean that we don't have any system, we don't have any means of organization, or whatever. Somebody said, Why, I don't believe in organization. Well, that's all right. That's your business. I do believe in organization. Everything that I know of with God is organized, even including the angels. When Gabriel gets ready to move the angels follow, and when Michael gets ready for war he sounds a trumpet and the angels follow just like our armies do. I believe in being organized. I don't believe in denominational rules and constraint, as to numerical order, because when David numbered his strength it upset God and he got in trouble. So we don't number our strength because God is the majority, even if it's by one. The Bible teaches that as it was in the days of Noah, he condemned the whole world. And as to one man, David, he won the battle when all the army was afraid to fight the giant. But I believe that we should be organized in our strength, in our understanding and that we should be people of understanding. The Bible said in malice be children, as to be quick to forgive, but howbeit, in understanding be men. And I believe in being in the leadership of the Lord and following the Spirit, because, as I say, following the Spirit don't mean that you just set down and do nothing. It don't mean that you just say, Well, I'm trusting God. Let's get this off of the front seat here. Let's do away with that spirit. The carnal mind is interfering with me, and we don't want that this morning. All right. You're doing real good. But don't go back to that, please. The Bible said, The sow back to her wallowing in the mire and the dog back to his vomit. Don't get that old vomit mind. He said, All my benches are full of vomit and we don't need no lukewarmness this morning, because that's what He spews out of His mouth. That's what He calls vomit. All right. I just wanted to clear that up, because I don't feel it nowhere except in that one person, and I don't want it. All right. Now. So, following the Spirit__ See? They resent what I say. What causes it is their carnal reasoning resents what I say, and when they resent that what they ought to do is come straight forward, fall down on their face and say, My God, Brother Pike, my God, my God, this thing has bothered me long enough and I want to make it public. You know, that is if you just go on and go on and the preacher reproves and reproves and reproves. It's like I was telling my David Paul yesterday. We were up at a certain place getting a sandwich. We were eating a sandwich and some people come in and all of a sudden I felt the carnal mind. Everything was just rosy and I felt the carnal mind and then I felt Satan and I begin to give a little reproof, as to Jesus parabolically speaking, indirectly I begin to say something. I'm always doing it to try to protect the individual. And when I did it went to the individual that needed it, but it also went to another individual that did not need it; and yet we all need it, but to the extent that he wasn't guilty of anything. And when I left I said, David, when I gave the reproof, I said, I watched as the Spirit moved, and I said in the Spirit I saw this go to another man and it became very grievous to him, very grievous. It went to the man it should have gone to, but he didn't get grieved. He just rebelled the more. But anyway, it went to this certain man, and when it went to this certain man I said, When I see him, David Paul, I'm going to tell him. And I said, When I tell him the thoughts of his heart, I said, he'll just outright acknowledge it, because he has the spirit of truth. And later on I met him by himself and I told him and he lost his composure. He broke down and wept, wept, wept. It was so pitiful. He just completely lost his composure, and he said, That's right. Said, That is exactly right, Brother Pike. And he was really tore up and he said, That's the thing that scares me, is that I know that this is God. And of course, if it is the Spirit of truth, then what you tell will be true. And if it's truth when you tell it then it has to be the Spirit of truth. God has not given unto us the spirit of error. Now, see? God is very sensitive. This man has done away with that. He done away with it that quick, even though he isn't free from it. But he done away with it. He doesn't want me to just outright call him out. And he really doesn't want to be like that, but he disciplines himself in such a self-willed way that he has become an enemy of God many times with his carnal mind. And the reason is he's never received the gift of the Holy Ghost. If he had the gift of the Holy Ghost he wouldn't have that problem. See? He's a believer and he's trying to receive the Holy Ghost, but he never has received the Holy Ghost. And when you have the Holy Ghost you won't do like that. The Bible said God gives the Holy Ghost to them that obey Him. I have people a lot of time to say, Well, what is the proof of having the Holy Ghost? Speaking in tongues? Prophesying? I say, No. Obeying the Lord. God gives the Holy Ghost to them that obey Him. All right. I also have a woman over to my right, which is a very fine woman. I would say she is probably as fine a woman as you would ever want to know, but she has become very carnal. In her lifetime she has become very carnal, because she has reasoned so much in her lifetime. And I don't know her back ground; I've never been around her. I don't know nothing about her, where she's been, what's she's been, whatever, other than what the Lord let's me know. But she has been very carnal in her reasoning and she's been very critical, as to find fault with different people, and even though she's here with us as one of us, a very find woman; yet she still has that problem, because she hath molded her nature to this point of finding a thing as to discrepancies instead of having trust and confidence and having a resistance in her against the Holy Spirit as it moves rather than melting and flowing with the Holy Spirit. And of course, it makes it bad. She controls herself. She has learned to control herself so she doesn't get gaudy and just step out, you know. But it's there and it really is a bad situation. Not for me, because I see it and it's like a snag in the water. I just go around it in my boat. I've done that many times in the boat. But the thing is, it's bad for her. And this man is in the same condition. You know a lot of people feel like you've got to be a murderer, you've got to be a liar, you've got to be a whoremonger, you've got to be a cheat, you've got to be a robber before you interfere with God, but that's not right. Just to be carnally minded means you are the enemy of God, for the Bible said the carnal mind is enmity with God. Anytime you've got houses and lands and cars and education, prestige and the values of the world, whatever it might be, you are automatically the enemy of God, because God is a spirit and all of those things that is a mind of vanity. I say this so often to you. You'll never be spiritual, you'll never have the moving of the spirit. This has done gone to another man now since I'm talking. When I start this I have to watch because it's like a flea that's hopping from one to another. And this man is scrutinizing me this morning. Whereas, I make allowance for that, you know. I make allowance. If somebody is new, or somebody come in that hasn't been but a few times I make allowance for them to scrutinize me because they don't know. But they don't have to get into a bad spirit over it. They don't have to get self esteemed and self-willed. All right. So then, I said that to say this. You can have all the cars you want, all the gold you want, all the silver you want, all the houses you want, all the land you want. God made all of these things for you and made you for them. Now, to the extent that these things emanated from God and all things are yours, and you can have all these carnal things. Paul said, If I've sown unto you spiritual things shall I not reap of you carnal. If other men are partakers of these am I not the more? Which means there is nothing wrong with carnal things, but there is on thing I tell you again; that you cannot be carnally minded. To be carnally minded is death. If you are television minded, as to the non-virtuous things, and radio minded as to the non-virtuous things, and carnal minded as to the natural things of life in the world, then you are the enemy of God and you are going to reason naturally and the Bible said the spiritual things are foolishness to a natural, carnal mind. And the natural man cannot receive them for they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual, the Bible said he searches out the things of God, yea, the deep things. So then, always remember that. Now, the atmosphere is clearing up of all three of them. That's fine, because I caught their thoughts and they started following me to listen to my thoughts and when they did that spirit that had a hold of their minds it couldn't hold on. See? The Bible said, And God cast out the spirits by his Word. When the Word begins to come there is a forcefulness, as to strength behind the speaker. Whereas, it's not him but God speaking. And as the Bible said, the anointing breaks the yoke. You'll just have to pardon me if I bark a little bit this morning. All right. I'm going to read just a little bit to you and try to talk to you about the things of God if I can. I think most of you will agree that we're down at the end of the world. I think you'll agree to that. Sometimes we refer back to the Scripture, as to reference. We go through the book of Revelation quite often and we break down the things of Revelation all the way through. We've been blessed to understand it, for which I'm very grateful. And not as to any merit of our own, but as to the goodness of God. And we're going to read, as we have a number of times, from the book of Revelation, as to chapter 10. If you've got your Bibles let's start at the first verse there. (Brother Pike reads all of chapter 10.) All right. Let's go back to verse that we refer to quite often. It says, "And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets." All right. Now, there is just so much here that we couldn't even get started if we stayed here all night talking on this. But let's look at this. It says, And the mysteries of God, or not mysteries plural but mystery, singular. The mystery of God should be finished when this last angel sounds. First of all, who is this last angel? He is the last one of the seven angels that started sounding in Revelation 8, that sounded through Revelation 8, Revelation 9 and Revelation 10, and goes on over to Revelation 11. Now, the last three of these soundings, being trumpets, whereas, the Bible said lift up thy voice like a trumpet, show my people of their sins, which indicates that these, even as the thunders is a voice, and the last three of these seven angles are called the three woes. Woe, woe, woe. And this voice that I speak of here as the last angel, it is the third woe, which is the seventh angel. And in this there is a breach in between the seventh angel and the sixth angel. And during this time a great angel from heaven, so great and mighty is he, that he is so tall his head goes up into the heavens and there is a rainbow about his head and he has one foot on the land and one foot on the sea, and he raises his hand to heaven and swears by him that liveth for even and ever that time shall be no more. I'm going to say something here, and you're probably going to disagree with me, but it's okay. That's okay. Now, I just want you to listen real close. This angel has to do with Jesus. First of all he's called the great angel. The reason for this is because this is in the middle of Daniel's last week, which is the last seven years of the four hundred and ninety years that the angle told Daniel would be determined upon his people, even the Jews being his people. So this is the last week. This is the seventh year, which is called the time of Jacob's trouble. And it's in the middle of this week that this angel does this. All right, now. In that this angel stands here doing this we see the Lord Jesus at Calvary. Now. Four hundred and eighty-three years from the time of being away in Babylon, as to the angel appearing to Daniel, and Messiah comes, for the angel said four hundred and ninety years determined upon thy people which are the Jews. And I tell you again, as to the four hundred and eighty-three to Calvary Messiah came and was cut off, not for himself but for the people. And that from that four-eighty three there was a gap, for seven years was taken away from the four ninety leaving four eighty-three at Calvary. And then in the end time after the church ages the seven years was to come back in. Now, during the time from the four eighty-three all the way through the church ages as to the time of the Gentiles over to the end of the world time was not accounted for. Now remember that. Time is accounted for as to people who inhabit the earth, as to__ See? I have to take my time here. I usually just run like a race horse to get through this, but I'm not going to do that. I might not get to say very much, but I'm just going to slow down a little bit here. You need all night long, as I say so often, to preach this, like Paul preached all night long. But anyway, from Calvary there is a gap. Seven years is taken away from the four hundred and ninety years, which leaves a gap. This is called, in what I understand of God as to what He showed me, the rent veil. The rending of the veil. So, four hundred and ninety years was all the time that God allotted from the time of Daniel to the end of the world, as to time. Where time element is involved that was all the time. When he said four hundred and ninety years, which was seventy weeks, Daniel likening this to a day as to a year. Looking at the scrolls of the prophets he found the prophetical utterance. Now, during that time, as from the four eighty-three to the seven this is what you'll find in the spirit to be the open door when Jesus said, I give unto thee, Peter, the keys to the kingdom. And when you check after the church ages and you find John seeing a door open in heaven being caught up, this was the door that he saw. Now, time stopped. Four eighty-three and time stopped. Someone would say, You mean there hasn't been any time since? Oh, no. There hasn't been any time. Somebody would say, Well, Brother Pike, you know, if there hasn't been any time that means that everything just whoosh, it's gone. Well, if you have to have time as to have existence, then let me take my time here to try to explain something. When we say existence, when I say time, when I say God, when I use these words, I do the best I can with these words, because there is no heavenly utterance, as to vocabulary utterance as in the spirit world. It's all by a divine discernment of a divine perception. So, the only means of expression, as to utterance of heavenly things, is by earthly expression. So, when I give you earthly expression to try to express heavenly things I do it because the Bible said that the measurements of God are as in heaven so in earth. As to whatever the means and measures of expression is, or whatever it might be, the Lord has to give it to us the same, that we might understand it. Everything in the earth, the Bible said, all of the invisible things of God, spiritual things, that is, from the creation of the world being clearly understood by the things that do appear, even the eternal Godhead, so that we are without excuse. All right, now. Here Peter gets the keys to the kingdom, he sees the rent veil. When I say rent veil remember the natural people, they thought of the rent veil as being the holies of holies. The outer courts within the fence and then into the little tabernacle that was two parts, as to the first part like a ten by twenty as to a holy place, and then into the others about a ten by ten, as to the holy of holies, which the little holy of holies was where the Ark of the Covenant was, the cherubs and the little Ark with the beaten gold that represented Jesus being beaten, that whole tabernacle represented His body. And in the Ark, as to the Ark that saved Noah, as to the little bulrush that saved Moses, and an ark, as to the covenant, the rainbow. The arc of the rainbow. The Ark of the Covenant. Or salvation by the Ark. So they took this as a memorial, and in this these covering cherubs with their beautiful wings showed the rainbow. And then the Mercy Seat, as to the Seat of Atonement, which showed that as to Noah being up here as to where the one window was in the Ark, then the beaten work, as to the gold, as Jesus being beaten. Then inside of this little Ark there was several things, as to the censor being inside of the tabernacle. Inside of this little Ark was the pot with golden manna, and the rod of Aaron that budded, and the stones in which God engraved the commandments. Whereas, when they find it, and they will find it someday, it will be just that way. Now, someone would say, Well, why was it taken away. It was taken away because Jesus went away. The Jews did not accept their Messiah. Their eyes were blinded, for the sake of the Gentiles, in part. And when we say in part, I remind you again, from Calvary back is the hinder part of God, and Moses wrote about that. And from Calvary over is not the hinder part, but we're seeing, not through the veil as Calvary, through a glass darkly, but we are seeing face to face as to behold the light, the glory of God, as in Jesus' face and we're changed into the glorious image as from glory to glory. All right. So then, we see that in this holy place, before you got into the holies of holies, that is, you went in, here was the candlesticks, as to the seven candlesticks, and over here is a table of shewbread of six little cakes. And the candlesticks in Revelation represents the church ages, the seven church ages, the oil as to the Spirit. Over here the little table, as to preparing a table before you, as to God's table. Six cakes, and six cakes represent the twelve apostolic leaders, as to the twelve apostles, and this light falling on that teaching, as to the Bread of Life down through the church ages. Now. It would take hours and hours to go into this and detail it and bring it up, as to the many things that we need to know about this as to understand. And when you start understanding this thing as it was said, they said, And why do you speak to these people in parables seeing that they understand not what you say. And he said, It's not given unto them to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but unto you it's given. So, when the Spirit takes us away he begins to expound. He opens up. He gives up ministers that we might have the mind of God, which is that understanding of the invisible world. Because the Baptist don't have it, and the Methodist don't have it, and the Church of God don't have it. And the UPC don't have it, and all the rest of the churches in the world, Catholics don't have it. It is not given to any of them. It's not given to any of those people that are without. It's only given to the elect. He that overcometh I will give to you to eat of the hidden manna. And this is the only ones that can get this. All right. Now. In looking at this out in the outer courts, as to the fence, there's a big brazen altar, there's a laver. And we can't detail these things, or go into them. We just drop these in as kind of a format, or give you some formulated understanding that when we express these things you might be able to grasp them. When we look at Calvary__ I've done said too many things already. I can tell already it's kind of boggy. Some of you are kind of bogged down already. But just listen. You'll understand it, just listen. All right. Four hundred and eighty-three years from Calvary over to the end of the world, down through the church ages and then seven years come in. This is the theme I want to stay with anyway; the rent veil. All right. Now. You see seven hears taken away from the four hundred and ninety. Four hundred and ninety years was all that there is concerning time. Now I have used the word existence, because we don't have any other word to use as to a spiritual expression. But if doing away with time is the end of mankind, as to his existence, then how are we going to continue to exist throughout eternity. Do you understand what I'm saying? You know, we get the erroneous idea that when we say, Time no more! Woosh! Everybody is gone. Time has nothing to do with life. Time has to do with death. I wish we had time to prove that. See? Time has nothing to do with life, but with death. So then, that means that doing away with time doesn't do away with life. It doesn't effect life. It does away with death. For where there is no time, there is no death. I am not a time creature, so I do not have to die. I never have to die. There will never come a day that I'll die, because I am not a time creature. Now. I know we'd have to go into that again to explain. Over and over we have (Begin tape one, side two.)....as to what I mean, because people go to sleep and they put them in caskets and whatever, you know. But nevertheless, we don't have time to explain it. Some of it's on tape; you can get the tapes. So then, we see a gap. A gap that has opened up within four hundred and ninety years that has separated seven years from the four ninety leaving four eighty-three to Calvary, the cutting off of Messiah, the casting away of the Jews, being the reconciling of the world as the coming in of the church ages, the Gentiles. And then down at the end of the church ages all of a sudden when the days of the Gentiles are over, the seven years come back in, and time starts again. Now, this is why that John, you'll find that John over here in the seventh chapter, he speaks of this. And you'll find out this is why John was looking in heaven. He was in heaven. And he saw the great multitude that no man could number, being the church, of all nations, kindred and tongues. And then with this he looked, and then he looked into the earth and he saw a hundred and forty-four thousand that was being sealed. As to the hundred and forty-four thousand they were in the earth. As to the great multitude that no man could number they were in heaven. Now. Here when this gap comes in this is the rent veil. What is meant by the rent veil? As I said concerning the holy of holies, the cherubim curtains, it meant the opening of the curtains. Did you know that no one could look at the Ark of the Covenant. No one could look at God and live and they were afraid to look at the Ark of the Covenant. Even when they moved this tent, as to the Ark of the Covenant, they would have to take the curtains like this. They would have to back up like this when the tent was up, take them on their shoulders, take them down and back and lay them over the Ark of the Covenant. They couldn't look at it. And when they went to hang those curtains they'd have to back up, pick them up off of the Ark of the Covenant and hang them up. Never looking at them. Nobody could go there except the High Priest, which represented the Holy Ghost, as to Christ entering in within the veil. And my! It could be so beautiful if you could go into the revelation of it. But anyway, this is to the natural things that I'm telling you about. See? No one could go in there until Calvary. Calvary, the veil was rent in twain. Now the Bible says that these things were given to us in Christ before the world ever was, our names written down in the Lamb's book of life. Paul said, Salute my people, those who's name are in the Lamb's book of life. And they were given to us in Christ before the world ever was by foreknowledge. Elect according to foreknowledge, Peter said, Being the predestinated of God. But these things that were given to us wasn't brought to light to any of the Jewish people during the whole transitional changes of their life all the way to Calvary. But when Calvary came the Bible said, And these things were brought to light, and when you say darkness you are speaking of intellectual ignorance and the tree of knowledge. And when you say light you are speaking of understanding, as to the tree of life, whereas the Bible uses the terms, And the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may be able to comprehend the height, the depth, the width and the length. Whereas, the Bible said, And they that are not living for God, that don't love the truth, they shall not see when good cometh, for Lucifer, Satan, the god of this world has blinded their eyes, even their eyes of understanding, that they should not see, for the Bible said, And this light shined in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not, for unto them that sat in the regions of the shadow of death great light has sprang up unto them but they comprehended it not. But your eyes being enlightened you comprehend the height, the depth, the width and the length of this great light. Thus eradicating, or moving the shadow of death, which is our intellectual ignorance. And this is why the Bible tells us not to lean to our own understanding, but trust in the Lord with all of our heart, because we are born with this infiltration in our natural mind, as to the gullible desire of the world and Satan, as the infiltration that loves the things of the world, and if we follow our own natural mind we're going to go after it. We'll be just as religious as Cain was and just as lost as Cain was, or as Esau, not being able to get the birthright. I meet people around the world and they are so religious until it's a sickening sort of a thing. It's no wonder that Jesus rebuked the Jews for more holier than thou. These people are so religious, and I check their spirit and they don't know nothing about God, never received the Holy Ghost. He's no where within the neighborhood, as we say. All right. I'm not going to get to say much this morning, but I'll say these few little things anyway. So when it was brought to light at Calvary and the veil was rent in twain, just before Jesus went to Calvary He said, Destroy this temple and I'll raise it up in three days. And the Bible said they knew not that he spake of his body, because they were natural minded. They belonged to the natural world. They had a natural frame of mind and they thought about natural things. That is, what they could see, or what their human senses were relative to. So He said, Destroy this temple and they knew not that He spoke of His body until after His resurrection. And the Bible said, And the veil of the temple was rent in twain. Now the veil of the temple, I said again, was these curtains that were over the Ark of the Covenant. But remember that the veil, the true veil, that was a natural. There is a physical, there's a spiritual. There is a first dimension, second dimension, third dimension. There is a first heaven, a second heaven, and a third heaven. So then, the real veil was the body of Jesus' flesh, which veil was rent in twain. Like it says, Don't cast your pearls before swine lest they trample them under their feet and then turn and rend you. Jesus was rent. For the veil of the temple was rent from top to bottom as to the thorns, as to the nails, as to the side, as to the feet, as to the back plowed like a field. See? And they rent Him and then the veil in twain. That is, the Bible said He made in Himself two, or twain, both Lord and Christ. And when the veil was rent in twain then that means that the body separated from the Spirit, or the Lord from the Christ, which meant that from that time on your bodily image, as the bastard child image of iniquity was now dead by the body of the Lord Jesus and crucified with Christ and buried with Him in the lovely name of His Son in baptism and resurrected and raised again as Christ, delivered for our offenses and again in a new form for our justification. And thus we are the new form as to the second man Adam, being made a quickening spirit and today we've passed from death unto life, because it's appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. Whereas, the Bible said God looked down, saw the prisoners, heard the groaning of the prisoners that was appointed unto death, and loosed them that was appointed unto death. And in a time accepted He succored them. So then, that means that you and I have been secured by the wonderfulness of God by making an image of sin. What the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, as to my weakness to perform it, so then God, making His Son, or God the great Spirit making Himself a bodily image, tabernacling within that veil to wit that God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world back to Himself, and not imputing their trespasses unto them. He came, He brought this veil that was hid off from man's view, and He rent that veil and then came forth. As Peter said, I look beyond the veil and I see that you are the Christ. Jesus said you've got the keys to the kingdom, because flesh and blood didn't give this to you, diplomacy of life didn't give this unto you. You've got a revelation and upon this revelation I build my church. As to God, who is a spirit, who is a rock but our God, upon this rock and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. As to them that are in the world, gates of hell, as to you, the Bible said you are the gates of heaven. As to them the world is in their hearts, the Bible said, as to Satan and the bottomless pit of ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. As to you, the kingdom of God within you as the gates of heaven, as to the voice, not of your own but God speaking as to the membership of His own body. The life you now live, living by the Son of God, as to the life of Christ, even eternal life, which is within you. All right. So then, we see that the veil was rent in twain. Now, in that it was I say again today, Paul said, reckon yourselves, as to your body, to be dead in deed as to the body of this death, buried with the Lord Jesus, which means that you can never sin again. I go over his and go over this so that I can get this into your mind and make you to understand that you cannot sin as a saint of God and the reason you cannot sin. I know with this people that are just mere believers, that really don't have the Holy Ghost, and really not going on with God, just a bunch of religious folks, whatever denominational walk of life they're in, they'll take this and run with it, you know, and it will be to their own destruction. The Bible said the wrest these things, as they do other things, to their own destruction. But at the same time you can do nothing about that. There are always counterfeits that come out of everything, but to you who are the God children that's the one He's concerned about. Somebody said, Well, God loves everybody. I tell you again the Bible said, God is angry with the wicked everyday and will pursue them until they perish from off of the face of the earth. And the only reason that they get the love of God is merely because the blood is on the Seat of Atonement to take away the sins of the world to this momentary thing as to the dispensational grace until the church can be developed and perfected. And as it was when Lot went out of Sodom and Gomorrah, the very day he went out the fire and brimstone was rained upon them. You'll see how much God loves the wicked when the church goes out. The very day that they go out God smites the wicked. All right. So then, we realize that your spirit at death, your inner man, as the Bible calls it, at death went back to God who gave it. And today you are hid with Christ in God whom the heavens have received until the time of the restoring of all things, which is the change, redemption of your body, or the millennium coming in. So then, you are no more as a fleshly man, and for me to know you after the flesh is an error, and God has not given us the spirit of error. But I know you as the second man Christ Jesus. I do not know you as a living soul. Though we've come into the world as a living soul, but the second man Adam was made a quickening spirit, and the soul that sinneth shall surely die. And folks, we're dead to sin by the body of the Lord Jesus, and we're now born again. And he that is born of spirit is spirit. We are now quickening spirits and there is no way that we can die the death of the soul, because we have been changed completely, as to the inner spiritual being having been translated into the Spirit of Christ, and now are we one with Christ. And that is to say, Christ's Spirit is the kingdom of God and the fullness of God, and all the treasures of heaven are within Christ. He doesn't look at the world except through Jesus, and you can't get to the Holy Spirit except through the Son, as to the blood, for the life is in the blood. All right. So we see then that we are special people. We are God's. We cannot die. We are made to live eternally. We are people of another world and we are, as it was passing through the land of Esau. We don't bother that because we are headed for Canaan. This world belongs to Esau and they've lost their birthright. Though they are the first born, as to the natural, they lost it to the second born. And the Bible said the elder shall serve the younger. So, it's very evident that in that world we are the first born. And these that are first born here this is to pass away as it was down in Egypt and the angel smote the first born, every one that was not under the blood. Under the blood. But we are under the blood, for what can wash away your sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. All right. So then, we see that we are the children of God. We are already the sons and daughters of God. Not going to be, but we already are. We are not going to get eternal life, we already have eternal life. We are not going to pass from death unto life, we've already passed from death unto life and we are waiting for just one thing. We've already in our inner man been translated into the kingdom of God. The law and the prophets until John, and since that time the kingdom of God has come and men have pressed their way into it. And that is a continual warfare between the body and the spirit and the inner man has pressed over the outer pressures of Lucifer and those things that try to trample down the mind of humanity, going into the Spirit of Christ, as to the kingdom of God within you, which is the Spirit of Christ. So then, it's very evident that the natural man is now dead. Reckon yourselves, as to your natural man, to be dead indeed unto the world and unto the things of this world and unto sin, and as to your inner man, alive unto God. And that's why you've passed from death unto life, because death is the lake of fire, and your Spirit can never go into the lake of fire. Death is the separation of your spirit from God's Spirit and separation of your spirit from you body is only a sleep. It's only a sleep, because life is not in the body it is in the Spirit. And if life leaves the spirit then are you dead, eternally dead. But if the life doesn't leave the spirit then you are eternally alive, even though your spirit depart your tabernacle. Peter said, As long as I'm in this tabernacle, and yet God showed me I'm must soon put off this tabernacle. All right. I hope you understand me. I'm just taking my time and saying a few things, because I'm not going to get to say much. Great is the mystery of godliness. Paul said, I'm made a steward of the mysteries. So then, it's very evident then that the veil has been rent in twain, and this thing brought to light as to say preaching down through the church ages and all through the church ages we go on preaching this down to the end of the church ages, as to the seven-fold light. And we've said a lot about this on tape and could say more, but we're just trying to evade a few of these things to get over to some principal thoughts. So, we've got an open door in heaven. So now that means that, where are we? as I would ask the question. Where are we? An I then in the earth, or am I in heaven? Let's look at this for just a moment. Jesus talking to Nicodemus, He said, Nicodemus, no man has ascended up to heaven except the Son of Man that came down from heaven, and who is in heaven, while he talked to Nicodemus. Now, if He was in heaven do we have any part of His body here today? If we've got any part of His body, as to bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh, as to being the body of Christ, members in particular would you raise your hand? Where could you then be? Where? You say, why do you have to do that, Brother Pike? Because this is the only way I can eliminate doubt. Otherwise, I'd just say it and go on. That would be it. This is why it takes so long for the mysteries. You have to prove that to somebodies mind, because the devil is cunning and he's setting right there. All right, now. Somebody says, Well, I prove you wrong. Okay, now I've give my strong reason, now you give your strong reason. Now, you prove me wrong. I proved I was right. Now you prove me wrong. The Bible said, He that God sendeth will speak God's Word. This is why those carnal minds resent. They look at me as a man, and say, Bless God, he thinks he know it all, lifted up. You've so pitiful. You're just a little baby that's messed up your diaper. You need somebody to change it. All right. So then, what am I talking about? Not me speaking, but God, the Heavenly Father. This doesn't come from college. Brother Taylor, how many years of seminary did you have? And how many other years of college? All these put together, did you ever find this? No way. All right. See? It's not in college, it's God giving it. It's not somebody that's smart. It's not somebody that's fasts, not somebody that's prayed a long time. The Bible said God gives this unto babes such as are willing to learn, that this is higher above your head, as to your understanding than the heavens are of your head. So, it is something that He gives; He revelates. He said pray that you might have the spirit of revelation, that you may receive these things. And that's why you resent it. It's because you know you don't have them and you don't can't get them and you resent somebody else because you won't to be up there with the preeminence, as to Lord over God's heritage. And doing all of this talking to draw vain admiration to your person. You know what's wrong with you? Jesus said you are of your father the devil. That's why you have the carnal mind. And those were religious folks He was talking to. They didn't understand the revelation. All right. So then, we know then beyond the shadow of a doubt that the carnal mind is of the devil and it's enmity to God. And when you have the carnal mind then Jesus said, Get behind me Satan, or I've chosen twelve of you and one of you is a devil. Or as He said to those men, You are of your father, the devil. All right. But we are children of God, for Satan, the enemy sowed the tares. God sowed the good wheat. We're the children of God, Jesus said, as to the parable, but they are of the devil and the devil sowed them. And they are born of the devil, and his will will they do. And they love the things of the world and the things of the flesh, because he's the prince of this world. He savors the things of this world, as to prestige and pride and monetary valves and all of these things, as to celebrities and dignitaries, and whatever it might be as to the admiration of men. All right. So, we kill the flesh. We humble the flesh, even to the washing of our brothers feet. We look on the things of another. We esteem others better than ourselves. We seek the welfare of another. Jesus, coming down from heaven washed their feet. This is why many mighty are not called. They are out there in the world of pride, and they are praised. And the Bible said, Having praise and diplomacy of men, measuring themselves one by another, as with diplomacies or whatever. How can you have the praise of God? And when they come into this, you don't esteem them. They're just like anybody else. And because they are not esteemed it grinds at them, because they esteem themselves to be something, as to self esteem. And the world esteems them to be something and they try to switch over from that over to this and it won't work. But when the Master, Himself, came down from the throne and humbled Himself to washed their feet, as to give you an example, this is the way to do it. If you are greater in the world then become nothing. If you know something in the world, the Bible said, then become as a fool as to know nothing of the world. Count it all as dung and loss come and bow down at the feet of Jesus and start all over, and then you'll get to be something. Otherwise, if you try to bring that fleshly pride in, that fleshly esteem in, you are the enemy of God because God won't have it. There is only one esteem of God and that is labor of them in the Lord. All right. So then, not hardly getting to first base, as we say, this morning. So then, in finishing just a little bit of our thought here, this door is open in heaven and there is no such thing as time. I don't have time to get into this. It might be better I didn't even mention it, but on tape we've got a little of it and you can kind of get a follow up. Or maybe as we go on we'll say something from service to service. The end of the world. What does that mean when this angel stands here? See? In the Old Testament Jesus was called the angel of the Lord, and the Jews knew Him in an earthly thing as the angel of the Lord. They did not know Him as the Messiah, and won't until they see the nail prints. So here He is in an earthly perspective the middle of the seven weeks, which a time period and He's called the angel of the Lord. But when you go back to Calvary as the way we knew Him, or know Him today, He is the Messiah. And when the Jews were cut off from the four eighty-three, as to over to the seventh before they would come back in as to this great church age, not being in the presence of God, and time not being in the presence of God, and the world not being in the presence of God. Did you know when Jesus died to take away the sins of the church He took away the sins of the world. And I tell you this again. It's hard for you to understand but just like you are in heaven, those people in the world are in heaven. Try to understand what I'm saying now when I repeat these things. Those peoples sins are gone. God does not see their sins. The murderer, the harlot, all of those, He does not see their sins. If He saw their sins one time He would tear them into pieces. He said, Beware ye that forget God lest I tear you into pieces. I will pursue you until you perish from off of the face of the earth. He can't see it because of the blood. He's looking on the world through the blood, and the dispensation of grace that He has given now is so that the church can get ready. Because that grace is not given to the world, it's given to the church, because your body has not yet been changed, but you inner man has been changed, translated into the kingdom. Your inner man hath no need for grace. It's already born of the Spirit of God, but the outer man has to have grace until the time of the change. Though it's already purchased as to a purchased redemption, but you have never wit it. That is, come to understand, come to grasp that you might believe it, as to Enoch changing, as to Elijah, as to Moses, as to Paul being caught up into the third heaven. Whether in the body or out of the body, said, I can't tell. But anyway, I'm just saying this to you that while the church is in it's state of infancy, as to it's growth from a childhood of the manger on to sonship, as to growing up, there has to be grace that God will not see your faults and your failures and your unbecomingness as to that bastard child image which is dead by the Lord Jesus and buried in baptism. See? So then, this grace is there and the very day that the church goes out, as Lot out of Sodom and Gomorrah, that moment God will destroy things because he cannot look on iniquity. He cannot look on iniquity. He said, In the morning I will hate that bastard child image. I'll despise your image in the morning unless you are born again as to a new image. So then, we see that God, as with the Jews going out at Calvary, He has also put the world out of his sight at Calvary. And the Jews being dead represent the world, as to the body. See? The Jew being the body, as to your body to be changed, but right now they are out of the presence of God. When the Lord withdrew at Calvary, as to say the great Holy Spirit, the heavens became as dark as sackcloth of hair, and Jesus cried out, Father, why hast Thou forsaken me? which meant the Jews were gone. And then when Jesus returned with the nails in His hands, as to the Christ returning to the spiritual Jew, the church, Jesus the natural, to the natural Jew to show them the nail prints and the Jew will come out of death and they will come back to life. And at that time all of a sudden the church will be gone out. All of a sudden out here in the world then grace will be lifted and those people will be in total ignorance and darkness until they can't even perfect one little bit of healing medicine. I know you go to the doctors, you go to the hospitals, you go to all of these kind of things and you praise them, and whatever. And that's fine; you know, that's your business and God has got some real people, you know, in every walk of life. But folks, let me tell you. It's foolishness. Healing is of God and God has allowed that in the world out there until you can come into your strength as to faith, or as to you changing from this weakness of fleshly infirmities over to a heavenly source, because the Bible teaches that when the church has gone out that there will be no healing medicines. And all of them people, as to the kingdom of intellectual darkness will gnaw their tongues for pain and won't be able to even have death to relieve them of this terrible ordeal. So you see, healing is from God. If it is of them, and of medicine, why don't the doctors continue when the church goes out? when the light goes out, as to the understanding, as medicine and all these things that God is going to take out with the church in that they are just reflecting us, and that's why they are able to do these things, walking in our light. If they are able to do them of their own why can't they do them when the church goes out? All right. Looking for a place to close here now. So then, we understand that we're the light of the world. We're the salt of the earth and we understand that this gap in here, it means that the angel in the middle of the last week is actually Jesus at Calvary and has come back in to the time perspective for the Jews, because over here is for the Gentiles. And when this goes together as to the seven to the four hundred and eighty-three it's just as though it has never had any lapse in between, because there is no time element involved, and even with the Jews being out of the home land. But there is no time. There is no time. It is a heavenly perspective and the door is open in heaven and all of this a heavenly perspective. That's why Peter said__ He said at Calvary, And ye are the people. At Calvary, Ye are the people upon whom the ends of the world have come. And he said, And in the fullness of time at Calvary, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman and made under the law to gather them into the body of Christ, even as into the Ark of Noah. And he said at Calvary, This is the fullness of time. Whereas, Jesus said, Not one jot nor tittle shall pass from the law until all be fulfilled. Think not that I have come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. And so then, he fulfilled every jot and every tittle of the law, and then He lifted His hands to heaven and sware by Him that liveth for ever that time would be no more. Or He said, It is finished. It is finished. So, today the law has been fulfilled. There is not one jot, there is not one tittle of the law that I have to worry about, or try to fulfill. God, as to the righteousness of the law has fulfilled that within me. And today, in that the law is spiritual, I'm carnal, sold unto sin, I bypassed that carnality that was a resistance to the Spirit, as to God the great law. I bypassed that through Christ and the body is now buried, the middle wall of partition, as to my bodily offenses, as to the woman, the weak part, the feminine part is forever gone and my spirit, as Jesus said, My Father and I are one. So then, we are waiting for the change of this body, which is going to come just prior to the seven years. At the beginning of the seven years the change that we who are heavenly and in this heavenly perspective will fade away from the earth, as to the change when the earthly perspective come back in to count time again as to these Jews. And that's why we sing that little song, Time shall be no more, no more, no more, and time shall be no more, for the angel shall stand on the sea and the land and time shall be no more. So, we see that in just these few little things of exhortation this morning what God has done for us. You cannot sin. You cannot die. Now beloved are ye the Sons of God, and all these wonderful things are given to you in Christ if you have the Holy Ghost. If you do not have the Holy Ghost, though you be a believer, if you are not elect as to fore-ordination unto the Holy Ghost you will never make it into the kingdom of God, because the kingdom of God is not somebody standing here that one day the Lord will come with a shout and you are going into the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God came at Calvary and at Calvary from that time on it's been preached, as to the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus as the door and entrance, that you, as the spiritual angelic man, as in heaven you are as the angels. You are translated into the marvelous kingdom of your God, and you are either in, or you are not in when you go to close your eyes and sleep. You cannot close your eyes and sleep if you are not in, or if you are not in you die, because when the spirit leaves it doesn't leave the body. It's God's Spirit leaving your spirit. And that's death. But if you are in the kingdom it's just your spirit. Having fulfilled it's course it has moved out of the little house and it has moved over into the glory world as a place of Paradise and rest until this body is resurrected and changed as to the new house, as to the temple, and not the old tabernacle that's in the intellectual (Begin tape two, side one.) wilderness wandering, but the temple of God which is in the mind of Christ, even heaven, as to the Word of spirit and life. Well, let's stand together. There's so many things that we need to say and I know that many of us are dull of hearing and cannot hear them. Jesus said, I have many things to say unto you but you are dull of hearing and cannot hear, and eyes you cannot see, ears you cannot hear, heart you cannot perceive. Forty years, Israel, I've lead you through the wilderness and today you cannot see, hear, or perceive. And I know then, that these things are given to the elect and the world will never know them for it's not given to them that are without, but rather them that are within. And I know that you get inspired and you hear things and you feel the Spirit, and you cry and shed tears and lift your hands and praise the Lord, which is wonderful. That's good. Just go ahead and do that; desire the sincere milk of the Word, but the meat is for the strong, they who have by reasoning exercised their senses to be able to discern between good and evil and he said let there be meat in my house as well as the milk. So then, these things are as parents laying up for the children. Like scientists, people don't understand science. They just go along with their fishing and hunting and riding and they never really get anywhere. But scientists are the ones that provides the electric lights, provides the medical cures and all these other things, as to research, as to the natural. And the children, they don't know; they just go on enjoying themselves. But if you are one of the elect, as to the ordination of the meat as to the strong__ Someone would say, Well, what is the profit then, Brother Pike, of being a parent rather than being a child? Well, there's a lot in being a child. When you have your childhood you don't have a lot of pressure and worries, you just ride your bicycle, and shoot your marbles, and jump rope, you know, and skip to my lou, and that's it. But at the same time you don't have the understanding to make a million and you don't have the understanding to drive the car, and you don't understand the many other things that parents are exposed to, and that which they are relative to, as to a lot of the great things of the world. So six of one and half a dozen of another;. it depends on what you want to do. As to first heaven, second heaven, third heaven as to going on to the full measure, or to a full reward of the full stature of Jesus Christ, you know, that's up to you. Whatever you want to do you can have it. You can dwarf yourself by being so over confident that you know, so moved about being on T.V. and showing your face, lording over God's heritage, having what you call your ministry, or your way of life, or doing your thing, and being completely dwarfed and never getting any bigger in your whole life. And every time you go somewhere and get a little something you grab that and off you go, because you want to tell it to somebody. And that's all right. That's all right. There is nothing wrong with it, but I'm just saying, folks, you know, it would be good is we could quit being wandering stars and settle down and not just a reflector and get this wonderful new birth and get Christ on the inside as to the Day Star dawning within our heart and this wonderful, more sure word of prophecy, as to be a steady light around the world, to let your light so shine that men may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven, that you, yourself, that the Gentiles may come to your light of this wonderful raisings, to you the spiritual Jew. And as Paul said, Set me to be a light to the ends of the earth that this understanding, which is a light, may go around the world as the angel that flew through the heaven, and the Bible said, light so great it will light the earth. Light, as to understanding. What is the measure of your light? Have you applied yourself? Let's sing this little chorus. It's sad that we give all of our life to the natural. And all we ever have is the natural mind. All we ever learn about is the natural things, whether it's scientifically, or whatever. To break them down we understand natural things and we never get born again. We never get in the mind of Christ. We never see the things of God. Do you realize that they that are not born of God during the transition of life will never see the city of New Jerusalem though her light is most precious like a jasper stone? And did you know that they will never see God? Somebody said, Well, we'll all stand there and God will say yea and nay. No, there won't be anything like that. You will never see God. He is too wonderful for you to look upon. Only the pure in heart, the Bible said, shall see God. You'll never see the beautiful city, and you'll never see the beautiful new earth. You'll never get to see these wonderful things. See? You can't see those things. This is your world, this is your frolic ground, this is what you are, this is what you wanted, this is what you chose by your own sovereignty. This is what you chose. Think on this as we close. When you look at the stars you are looking at God, the thunder, you are listening to God, the lightning that flashes, you are seeing God, the billows of the ocean, you are looking at God. When man moves you are looking at God. Do you understand what I'm saying? When a little baby kicks it's feet in the cradle you are looking at God. When the tender love and caressing of mother comes that's God, and the concern and care of the father that labors in the cold, the ice and whatever particulars, that's God. When the wife embraces you with a tender kiss of real sincerity, that's God. And when the husband embraces her with all sincerity, that's God. Because God is a spirit and everything is lifeless without God. When you see the little poppies put forth their faces, or spring time and the birds chirping and the flowers blooming, that's God. See? And without God there is nothing. It is God the great eternal life, the Spirit, that has manifested Himself in many forms and ways of life. And that is to your adoration, that is to your blessings to satisfy your appetite, to give you an appetite for all these wonderful things, to see, to eat, to taste, to feel and then give you all of these things to satisfy your appetite as to the fullness of life. And that is God. And when God withdraws that isn't there. Or when that mother gets perverted, that daddy gets perverted, or when the weather gets out of sorts, as to the little things dying out and all these other things, then you get a picture of Satan, of death, and of sorrow. And God does that in your life to bring you a winter time to get rid of the parasites, as I said concerning the church. And once the parasites are gone, got away from your life, then all of a sudden the sap comes back up, as to the spring time of resurrection. And when it comes back up your branches are full of blossoms again. And life is at it's fullness again. God, the great wonderfulness of life. Let's sing this little song together, can we?
