God Is A Spirit

Though you get tired in your body still I know that you are enthused over these things. I don't want to go to hell. Do you want to go to hell? Have you ever met anybody that wanted to go to hell? Has anybody here ever met anybody that wanted to go to hell? I've never met one person that ever confessed to me that they wanted to go to hell. Not one person have I ever met, drunkard, murdered, liar, cheat, whatever. I've never met one person, rich, poor, God hater, whatever. I've heard of infidels but when they came to their senses, as it has been recorded where some of them did, they were still afraid to go to hell. A lot of people, you know, they console themselves with the idea, Well, hell is some kind of spiritual thing. And of course, in hell, you know, the soul it's going to be burnt in there and I don't know what the soul is, anyway, you know, some kind of spiritual thing. But they do that because they are not familiar with the Scriptures. Jesus said, You do err not knowing the Scriptures. Jesus said if your arm offends you cut it off. Said, For it's better to enter into life, that is in this life, with one arm rather than having all of your members for your body to be cast into hell. For your body to be cast into hell. Have you ever read it? Read it. It says, Better than for your body to be cast into hell. Your body is going to be cast into hell. And you know what? Your body is never going to die, as to lose the feeling of being punished. For the Bible said where the worm dieth not and the fire is not going to go out. Somebody said, Well, it will eventually go out. The fire will never go out. The Bible said, Where the worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched. And the Bible said, And these shall have their parts in the eternal flames. Just like you speak of eternal life there are eternal flames. Someone would say, Well, that doesn't really mean eternal. Then that means that when you say eternal life that really doesn't mean eternal. It's eternal flames. We're glad to have you tonight. We're glad to have Dale and Susie here with us tonight. And also Don. He was here. He left. I saw him and Danny here tonight. He must have left. Glad to have Gerald with us. Glad to have all of you with us. I did see Brother Larry's sister here and she must have also left, or changed, moved around somewhere. No here she is back here. All right. We're glad to have her here with us tonight. Sister Lou Ann. Jim had to go back; a real fine person. Real fine person. Do you love the Lord? How many of you come so we could hurry and get away? Well, the Bible said be not in a hurry to go from His presence. This morning we talked about one side of life, as to the scavenger side of life and I tried to make it real clear and plain this morning as to what that side of life is. We spoke the other night on the house of horror and that's the house of horror. And then on the other side there is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the house of joy, peace and prosperity which is called the house of God. And the Bible said you are God's building. You are lively stones, you make up His building. He is a spirit and He dwells within you. So then, we are God's children. Tonight let's talk about the side of light. We talked about the side of darkness this morning now let's talk about the side of light. We talk about this ever once in a while. Let's turn over to the book of Saint John. Let's read from the third chapter. Notice this now. It said, "There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: For no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." Chapter four, the twentieth verse. "Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he." Now, let's just, let's just dwell on a thought or two here just for a moment. I was telling Sister Betty about the end time and what was to take place and how it was to come about, the nations that were to be involved and scripturely how that this thing would transpire. And beautifully, so beautifully, it's already coming together. Betty can tell you that with what we talked about you can see very easily by looking at the newspapers, the magazines, the television, listening to the radios, whatever, listening to the Word of God that it has come to pass. It's right at the door. And it will come just exactly that way. Now, I want you to notice something here. Jesus did confess that He was the Christ. Didn't He? Said, Messiah will come which is called Christ. Peter, when he was asked Jesus said, Who am I? Who do you think I am? He said, You're the Christ because it was prophesied that the Christ would come. So he said, You are the Christ. And Jesus said don't tell anybody but here He is telling the woman. She said, Christ is coming. He said, I am He. Said, The one that speaks to you, I'm He. Now. So it is no great mystery as to whether Jesus was God or not. He confessed it right here. And He said to Thomas Thomas said, Suffer us to see the Father. Jesus said, Thomas, have I been with you so long and you've not recognized me. I don't know why they have such a great dispute as to whether or not Jesus is God. And here He is, says, You're worshipping over here in the mountain, said, you say that in Jerusalem is the place to worship, the woman said. And, of course, it was because Judah; that's the land of Judah and that's how that they got in trouble when the ten tribes went off to Assyria. But He said, Woman, the hour cometh. Said, It's coming, and said, It now is. That is, I'll soon be going to Calvary. He said, The hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers, they won't go into a mountain to worship God and they won't go over to Jerusalem to worship God. I was over at Jerusalem a few days ago. I didn't go over there to worship God. He said, The hour is coming when the true worshippers shall worship God in spirit and in truth for God is a spirit. God is a spirit. It says that God is a spirit and they that worship God must worship Him in spirit. That's why Paul said, I would that you were spiritual. We come to church here at Little Bethlehem. A lot of us, we don't know that God is a spirit. We don't understand that God is a spirit. Though we say God is a spirit, we talk about God being a spirit but for it to dawn on us that God is a spirit, we don't know that God is a spirit. That is, we're so carnal in our seeking and searching for God, even in fasting and praying. God said, I've not chosen the fast where a man bows down his head like a bulrush. What's that got to do with spirit? He just gets a hungry tummy, as I say so often, though there is great value in fasting and praying. But what is praying all night to God? What's that got to do with the spirit? That's just as natural as it can be. You know, you just get sore knees and you get swollen eyes. That doesn't have anything to do with worshipping God, though there is great value in praying all night. God is a spirit. What can I do by works of righteousness, as to the things I would do? What does that have to do with God because I don't chew the cud and suck on a weed? What consolation is that to God? See? There's nothing spiritual about that. You say, Well, what has God got us doing all these things for? Why do we that? We do that as a conformity to His way, His Word, His command, because this a door, this is an entrance for your body and your spirit to enter into His presence. Enter into my courts with thanksgiving, or my gates with thanksgiving and my courts with praise. Enter into it. Somebody says, Well, that's being spiritual. No, that doesn't have anything to do with the spirit. Holler as loud as you want to. Say glory to God all you want to; it doesn't have anything to do with the spirit. God is a spirit. He's the untouchable. See? He is a spirit but all of these things are means and measures by which we approach the spirit. Self-denial is the way to approach the Spirit. When you do without your food and then you pray it is a form of surrender and submission that you might come in contact with the great eternal Spirit, which is invisible. But the whole thing centers around one thing and that is that God has taken the life of His Own Son from a human body and has taken the blood out of His veins, as crucifying, as killing, as giving up His Own Son to tear down the middle wall of partition that God, who is a spirit, can get to your spirit. God wants to get to your spirit. He isn't interested in your flesh. The flesh profiteth nothing. Paul said corruptible flesh. All flesh shall pass away. No flesh shall be justified by the law. So then, God is trying to get to your innermost being, your spiritual being. Because God is a spirit. And if God can ever get to your spirit He can have fellowship with your spirit. But there is a middle wall of partition, even your flesh. And Satan loves the things of the flesh because he has the power and preeminence over the flesh, over the world. And God cannot get to your spirit because thine iniquities, which is the spirit of Lucifer, is interwoven within your body and that infiltration has separated between your spirit and God's eternal spirit. And God is trying to get to your spirit. And your spirit is thirsting and hungering after the spirit of life, the fountain of life because your spirit, if you could get just one touch, one little sip of that heavenly presence of God it refreshes and it strengthens all over. See? And your spirit is trying to get to God's spirit but your spirit can't get to God's Spirit because of the middle wall of partition, even your flesh. And Satan is interwoven with your being. So then, God because of sin and He cannot fellowship iniquity, He has to take a human body and He has to kill that human body in your behalf. But that human body has to be without spot, without wrinkle, without blemish that it might yield up it's blood stream because the life is in the blood, which means the spirit, the quickening is in the blood. And God has to approach your spirit but he has to have a carrier of light because if you die then the spirit goeth back to God who gave it. So if you're going to live He's got to be able to get to your spirit. And the only way that He can do that is to have a carrier of life. The life is in the blood. And the life is the spirit because the Bible said the body without the spirit is dead. It doesn't say the life without the body Or the body without the blood is dead, but the body without the spirit is dead. Indicating that the spirit is life. Jesus said, My words are spirit and they are life. So there has to be a carrier and the carrier is blood and your blood is not fit to carry life anymore. You lost your life. Paul said, The life I now live is the life of the Son of God because I lost my life because of sin. And He said, My body is not fit for the occasion. I'm now bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh because my body is corruptible. So then, he said, I have now flowing through my veins royal blood because the spirit of Christ within the blood of Christ Jesus is our life line. The life is in the blood. Not only life, natural life in my natural blood but God's eternal spiritual life in the blood of Jesus Christ. The life is in the blood. So I've got to have royal blood flowing through my veins as a carrier of life. And I've got to have life in the blood veins. So then, God has made a life and He has placed your life in that blood stream. The Bible said in the fullness of time God sent forth His Son made of a woman, made under the law that He might gather all things into the body of Christ. That is, all life, all spiritual beings into the body of Jesus Christ, into the blood stream. Someone would say, Well, what about devil spirits? Surely He didn't gather them into the body of Christ. Jesus came in the image of sin that He might become my sins, that I might become His life. That he might take my blame in death that I might take His righteousness in life and His sinless life, as to eternal living. So then, God gathered all things, as into the ark. The dove came in but so did the crow. The creeping things came in so Jesus --God gathered all things into the body of Christ, even the powers of evil and whatever. He let that body be in the image of sin so He could reach out and take all of that, bind it up in a bundle and take it and put it down into the flames of hell. For the Bible said your body goes into the fire. And the Bible said he suffered not his soul to remain in hell, nor his holy one to see corruption. So then, I'm telling you that there is an hour of worship that has come to you and I where we worship God in spirit and in truth. And what God is wanting of me is for my spirit to be released. And the Bible said at death the spirit goeth back to God who gave it and I'm directing myself to be dead indeed unto the sin by the body of Jesus Christ and my spirit went back to God who gave it and today I'm not in the flesh. I'm in the spirit. I'm not in the world for He has chosen me out of the world. My spiritual being is not in this world. I'm in another world. I am in the spirit of God because I'm hide with Christ in God who is a spirit because God by Calvary, through the body of Jesus, took away the middle wall of partition and took away sin. And the Bible said he made a more sure way and gave a more sure word of prophecy and He made a way in the holies of holies by the rending of the veil. That is to say, the Bible said, of His Own flesh. And so then, that means as samson rent the lion and got the honey so the lion represented the body of Jesus. And here God smiting Jesus rent the veil. And then as we sing, there is honey in the rock, because the Bible said, Who is a rock but our God. And Samson found the honey. So then by killing Jesus that meant God had smote His enemy, you and I, the image of the devil, as to our first birth. He had smote it. He had done away with it. Samson had killed the lion and there wasn't anything left now but the New Testament, as we say, or the honey in the rock. And we're the new day. Whereas, the veil has been rent in twain, even His body. For the Bible said He made in Himself twain. And at Calvary He separated the one from the other, as to Christ and the Lord, twain. He separated the Lord from the Christ and now the veil is rent in twain and the body which is the Lord is buried. It's gone. The law is folded up and laid away. The law and the prophets until John. Jesus came, folded it up and laid it away. Now we're on the other side of Jordan. Now we're on the other side of death because we're on the other side of the law. And sin is the transgression of the law and the law is gone. We can't sin and if we can't sin we can't die because the sting of death is sin. So then, we're over the Jordan. We're on the other side. We've passed from death unto life and here we are on the other side and we are doing something for God by worshipping Him in spirit. There is no middle wall of partition between me and God anymore. It's gone. It's been broken down and I am not looking through a glass darkly, as to my intellectual reasoning, as to that veil of death that came over Adam's face through the fall. I am looking at God face to face. I am seeing Him face to face. I am not as Moses. I'm not looking at the hinder part, as it was when God put Moses in the cleft of the rock and said, You can't see My face because no man can see my face and live. And the Bible said the glory of God passed by Moses and Moses saw His hinder part. I'm not looking at His hinder part. The hinder part, I want to remind you again, means from Calvary back to Genesis, back to the garden. From Calvary, the law, that's the hinder part of God. But we've passed over that and we're looking at God face to face. That's why He was manifested as a man and said to Thomas, Have I been with you so long and yet you've not known me? See? We're looking at Him face to face for the Bible said, We shall see Him as He is. I've comprehended the heights. I've comprehended the depths. I've comprehended the width. I've comprehended the length. For God is a spirit. Jesus who is in the bosom of God dwelling in that light, which is called the bosom of God. Jesus, He alone dwells in that light. No man can approach unto that light. No man has seen God at anytime. He is a spirit. Paul, just seeing the light, it blinded it. No man can see God. No man has ever seen God at anytime. But Jesus, who dwells in the midst of the light, which is called the bosom of the Father, He hath made Him a declaration. He declared Him to us by words of expression and by deeds of expression. So, God has declared to us. The Bible speaks of the bosom of Abraham. You know, we sing that song, Rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham. In the bosom of Abraham. What is the bosom of Abraham? It's faith. Faith is from the heart; from the bosom. When you get into the faith of God, into the faith of Abraham, you're in the bosom of Abraham. We are in the bosom of Abraham. So then, Abraham the father of the faithful. Being spiritual. You that are natural you could never see this because you are natural, in the natural and the spiritual things of God are foolishness to the natural man. To you this doesn't even make sense. But he that is spiritual searcheth out all things, yeah, the deep things of God. And these things are made known unto Him because the law and the prophets were until John and now the kingdom is here. The spiritual kingdom of the living God. And they said, Will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? He said, The kingdom of God is not by observation. You Jews can't have the kingdom of God the way you're looking for it, a bunch of carnal minded Bible scholars. You'll never have the kingdom of God no more than the carnal minded denominational scholars of the world will ever have the kingdom of God. He said the kingdom of God is spirit. He said, Woman, God is a spirit. You don't worship God over here in a mountain. You don't worship God over here in some city called Jerusalem. What's that got to do with God? He said, God is a spirit and they that worship God must worship God by being spiritual and worship God in the spirit. This is why the church world today is so far away from God. The average church you go in and to them worshipping God in spirit is hallelujah, glory to God, hallelujah, shouting and going on. It doesn't have anything at all to do with the spirit. If a man is in the spirit and the spirit is worshipping God he may say hallelujah, glory to God. He may clap his hands. He may dance up and down because these things are a form of surrender toward the spirit. But, folks, God is a spirit. He is the spirit of truth, the spirit of love, the spirit of joy. He is the spirit of faith. He is the spirit of power. And we become spiritual. We die out to our flesh and we die out to our body. And our angelic being is released into the spirit of God because heaven is everywhere. Heaven is everywhere. Wherever God is that's heaven. Somebody says, I'm going up to heaven. Where is heaven up there? There is no heaven up there. When we say up that's just something that we use as dimensionally speaking because our intellectual thinks like that. That's not where heaven is. Somebody says, Well, prove to me it's anywhere else. Jesus said, The Son of Man is in heaven, Nicodemus. We're having a conversation but do you see me in heaven? Do you see me in heaven? Oh, somebody said, He didn't say that. I just read it to you. No man has ever entered into heaven except the Son of Man that came down from heaven, as to you up and down. And He said, The Son of Man which is in heaven. You see me, Nicodemus? I'm in heaven. I've told you about earthly things; you didn't understand that, it's for sure you're not going to understand about being in heaven if you can't understand spiritual things. Somebody would say, Well, where are you at, Brother Pike? I'm in heaven. Hallelujah. I'm in heaven. Somebody says, And this is like heaven to me. This is more than like heaven to me. This is heaven, folks. Somebody said, Well, if you'll be faithful you'll get there. I was faithful through the finished works of Jesus Christ before the world ever was in the foreknowledge of God and I got there before I was ever born into the world. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Somebody said, What do you mean? John was a man sent from heaven. He must have gotten there too. Somebody said, Well, I know he was born of his mother. But the Bible said he was a man sent from God. He was sent from heaven. Do you love the Lord. Spoke of him before he was ever born. Not only that, Judas was one that was sent from the bottomless pit. He was a devil from the very beginning. He entered into to a human body. So then, who are we? We are sons of the living God. We're daughters of the living God. Where are we at? We are in heaven. Someone says, How do you believe that, Brother Pike? The Bible said you are not in the flesh. If I'm not in the flesh, then if you think this is me standing here as to a human body, as to your observation of vanity, you're seeing lying vanities. You're having strong delusions. Somebody said, Well, I know that I see you. Well, there might be some here that's in heaven with me. I'm sure that you do. I see you, too. Somebody said, But I see George Pike. You couldn't. There ain't no way. I said, There ain't no way. Somebody said, You mean to tell me that ain't you? There ain't no way. There ain't no way. Somebody says, Well, who is that up there behind that Sacred Desk? The Bible said I'm bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. Said to the woman, I am He that speaks unto you. I am He that speaks unto you. It's not the minister speaking but Christ speaking unto you. And they shall all be taught of God. So then, they said, Jesus said, Who do men say that I am? Some said a prophet. Said, But who do you think I am? Let me tell you something, folks. We are in the hour when we worship God in spirit and in truth. You're going to have to get more than an intellectual comprehension of what the preacher is saying. You're going to have to get more than a shout and more than a brain storm of religious attire in your life. You're going to have to let your spirit get out of your body and there isn't but on way you can do that and that's by sacrifice and death unto that body. Let me tell you something...(Begin tape one, side two.) ...died in your behalf and your spirit is already released from your body and already in heaven if you are a Christian, but as a (?). See? You are free from sin and death by the body of Jesus. You don't have to do one thing. Not one thing. Somebody said, But, what do I have to do to get into heaven, Brother Pike? Let me ask you a question? What did you have to do to get into this world? Somebody stand up and tell me of all the works you done and all those things you had to do to get into this world. Will somebody stand up and tell me? See? That would be absurd, wouldn't it? to say I did something to get into this world. I didn't do nothing to get into this world. The travail was on my mother's part. She's the one that did whatever had to be done. I'm in the world. I didn't do nothing. Is that right? So then, if I didn't do anything to get into the first world then what did I do to get into the second world? Oh, somebody said, I repented and I cried and I begged and I fasted and all of them things. No, I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. Jesus travailed at Calvary and I was born into the world. Somebody said, But you weren't even alive, Brother Pike. But the Bible said God has given me this in Christ before the world ever was and He's just revealed it at Calvary, as to the rent veil, as to show me who I am and what I am. So then, I'm not of this world. Somebody said, You're just as much of this world as I am. No, I'm not of this world. If I was of this world then I'd do the same things you do. I'd go to the dances. I'd go to the frolics. I'd curse. I'd drink. I'd snort. I'd be part of the world. But I'm not of this world. That man that was born into this world died. He's gone. They that belong to Christ have mortified the flesh with the deeds thereof and that body is dead. Not dead to sin by the body of Jesus but I'm dead to the world by the body of Jesus. My spirit went back to God who gave it at death and now I'm dwelling in heaven. I'm enjoying heaven. I've sitting in heavenly places. My Father and I are one. We walk together. We talk together. We sing together, my Father and I. So then, I'm not of this world. Well, why do you say that? Because Jesus said, Ye are not of this world. I'm willing to take His Word for it. He ought to know; He is the one that said it. And if He told Nicodemus he was in heaven he was in heaven. For how can you prove that? The Bible said I'm hid with Christ in God whom the heavens have received until the time of restoration of all things. You know, I say this a lot of times. They forbade the little children to come to Jesus and He said, Forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of God. He said, And I say unto you, their angel doth always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. Which means that they'd never come to a place of accountability, that they are not in sin. Somebody said, Well, I just don't get nothing out of this, Brother Pike. I just don't understand that. That's because you're not of this world. You're not part of it. You couldn't get anything out of it. The Bible said when good comes you'll never see it. You're eyes of understanding are blind. Oh, somebody said, I'm right in there with you. No, you're not. You're lying. You don't understand a word I'm saying. Let's give the Lord a hand. The Bible said the wicked shall not understand when good comes. They won't understand nothing. But there are those that belong to God. There are those that are a part of this world and they are in this heavenly world. The church world is waiting out yonder for the rapture. They're waiting out yonder for the translation. The Bible doesn't speak of any rapture. There is no teaching on a rapture. There's no word called the rapture as concerning the Scripture. That's an intellectual man made application and it's been spread all through the world. But there is a translation and the Bible said we are translated into the marvelous kingdom of God. The law and the prophets were until John and that world passed away. It went away. Just like the world of the flood. Two thousand years and that world went away. Peter said, And that world passed away. And then when we came to Calvary there was another world that passed away. I'm not of that world. I'm of this other world. I'm of the third world. I'm of the third world. I wasn't in the first world when it passed away with water. I wasn't of the second world when it passed away with blood. I'm with this third world. For if the first passed away with water then a blood world started at the sacrificing of beasts. And as the water started with Adam and Eve and two thousand years it lasted and then at Calvary a great deluge of water, that world passed away. And if blood started with Noah right at the beginning of that age then moved on down to Calvary and now Jesus has been crucified, then that blood age passed away. I'm not of that blood age. You are, but I'm not. Jesus said, you are of the world but I'm not. He said, I came from heaven and I go back to heaven. See? You're of that blood world because that blood world is beasts. And that's why they slew the beasts. See? But I'm not of that world. See? You say, Well, you can't prove that. Jesus said you're not of the world. Come on, folks. He said you are not of the world. I'll take His word for it. See? That world passed away. I' m not of that world. There was another world that started at Calvary. Peter said ye are the people upon whom the ends of the world have come and here I am in a new world. I'm in this angelic world, in this spiritual world. And the Bible said Paul was caught up to the third heaven. And now is made known unto the church the manifold wisdom of God, even this heavenly treasure, this heavenly mind, even in the heavenly places. So then, I am in the angelic world. I am not flesh and blood. I am not flesh and blood. Oh, somebody said, I just think you're crazy, Brother Pike. Well, if I'm a fool, I said this morning I'm a fool for Christ. Do you mean to tell me you're not flesh and blood? I'm not flesh and blood. Somebody said, Well, give me Bible for it. The Bible said you are not in the flesh but in the spirit. Somebody said, Well, I was born flesh and blood and I'm flesh and blood. And I was born spirit and I'm spirit. The Bible said he that is born of spirit is spirit. Have we got anybody in here that's been born of the spirit? Let me see your hands. All right. So then, we are not of this world. God has chosen us out of this world. We're hid with Christ in God whom the heavens have received until the time of the resorting of all things. You're looking at lying vanities. See? And the Bible said he that observeth lying vanities forsaketh his own mercy. When you consider the problems of life, as to sickness and poverty and all these other things you forsake all of those things that are given to you in the spirit. You forsake all of the eternal life, the eternal wealth, all of that you have in the spirit you forsake it because your eyes are beholden and you cannot see. See? And you are looking at natural things and you are in a natural world and you're caught within a natural environment. You cannot see spiritual things. Paul was a master. He learned. Nicodemus was a master. Paul he thought he knew everything. He's studied. He'd done all kind of things. He'd made supplication unto God. He'd done all kind of things but he was as blind as he could be. When the light came it showed up his blindness. Do you understand what I'm saying? He had to go down to the street called straight and get somebody to show him the way; teach him about Jesus. He said, Who is this I'm persecuting? Jesus said, It's Me, Paul. It's Me. And the man said, Paul, be baptized, wash away your sins. His eyes came open. So then, it is no more I that liveth but Christ that liveth within me and the life I now live I live by the Son of God. It is His eternal life. Now you're not spiritual, many of you. Paul said, I'd like to speak unto you as unto spiritual but seeing that you're babes in Christ you'll just have to stay on the milk of the Word. And he said, in the meantime pray that God will grant unto you the spirit of revelation that your eyes might be opened, that you might comprehend the heights, the depths, and the width and the length of this great declaration, which is God declaring through Jesus Christ the revelation of Jesus Christ. So then, we see that we are free from the body and we are free from the flesh, as to the image of the beast, as to the blood life. And now we have the royal blood of Jesus. We are now spirit and there is a carrier of this new life. There is a new blood cell. And no conception, as to the human being, for Mary's conception was divine. And the Bible said the spirit of God overshadowed her and that Holy Thing that shall be conceived within thee shall be called the Son of God. And so then, the Son of God, a new blood stream that had nothing to do with Adam. Though Jesus said here, we know what salvation is. He numbered himself with the Jews. Said, For salvation is of the Jew. But in all truth He was not a Jew. Jesus was not a Jew. He did not have blood of the Jew. He did not have blood of the Gentile. I heard an Arab the other day One reason they are fighting against the Messiah, the Arabs, said that's the Jew's God, if you want to put it like that. He was a Jew. No, He's not a Jew. See? He's not a black man. He's not a white man. He's not a red man. He's not the yellow man. You know, they try to make Him The white man says, He's my man; He's white. And the black man, He was my man; He was black. And another man says He was this and another man says He was that. But, folks, let me tell you, He was neither black, nor white, nor yellow, nor red. He did not belong to the human family at all, not at all. It was a blood cell that came straight from the eternal spirit. The Holy Ghost was His Father. And though Mary, a body, a human body, was the mother, yet it was divine conception. There was not anything in the way of human stimulation or human relation. It was a divine act of God. Just as divine as it is when Christ came into my heart, and as Mary, through the virtue of my heart, I conceived of the Holy Ghost and Christ is in my life. And Paul said, I travailed until Christ be formed within you. Christ is being formed within me just like it was within Mary and it's the divine Son of God. So then, there is no person in the world that can claim Jesus Christ as Lord, or their people except through the new birth. If you're born again then He is your elderly brother. And if your born again He is. He is your heavenly Father because God the fullness is in it. And God the eternal Spirit also lives within me and it lives within you, and anybody else that is born of the Spirit. And today I'm looking at Him face to face. I don't see through a glass darkly because my sins are gone. My body, my human body is no more. It's done away with. It's dead. Somebody says, but I see it. I know because you're living in that world of vanity. All of it's lying vanities. It has to pass away. But God doesn't see it because God is in heaven and I'm in heaven and he doesn't see that body. He buried it down here in this world where you could see it. You say, Well, why is that, Brother Pike? Because Job said, Thou the skin worms devour my body. And God said, Jacob, thy worm. You're just a bunch of worms and you're looking for that old carcass. People that live it up in the flesh, that lust after one another, that does all these things, they're worms. They're working in That's the maggots working in the carrion. Do you understand what I'm saying? So God has put that out of His sight. He's put that down there. He's closed it out. That's gone. That was all buried. That's gone. See? But I'm in heaven and God doesn't see anything as pertaining to flesh in my life. He sees Christ in my life. Therefore, I am perfect before Him, without spot, without wrinkle, without blemish. Through Him I keep myself by faith, the faith by which He purifies my heart unto the sanctification of my soul. And I keep myself by faith in Him and the evil one toucheth me not, never at anytime. So then, I am a church without spot, without wrinkle, without blemish and He hath perfected me forever and sanctified me once and for all by the offering up of the body of Jesus Christ. And He hath justified me by faith and He hath glorified me and I have passed from death unto life. When I left the flesh, when I left the world I left death and all that behind me and I went into heaven and there's no death there. There's no sorrow there. There's no sin there. There is no wrong there. This is a world of joy and peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. And the Bible said they that keepeth their mind stayed upon Christ Jesus shall have perfect peace and all of His paths are peace. So then, this is a wonderful world. Do you love the Lord? Loving the Lord. Praising the Lord. Glorifying the Lord. Somebody says, Well, I feel tired. What's that got to do with it? What's that got to do with it? You're just feeling the vanities of the world and you're looking to the vanities of the world. You say, No, I'm just tired and weak. All vanity. All lying vanity and vexation. You say, How can you prove that? The Bible said let the weak say I'm strong and be strong in the power of My might. Moses didn't eat for many days. Eighty days. He was still strong and ready to go on. See? Our strength does not consist of what we eat; it consist of faith in God. So then, it's so wonderful to be a Christian and live eternally; live forever. Isn't that wonderful to think that one of these days you're going to push the old dish back and never do back to it again and still going to live without eating on and on and on? We're going to eat all right. Jesus said I've got manna to eat of. I've got food to eat of that you know not. So then, God is a spirit and we receive this great wonderful strength and power and magnificence of eternal strength and youth to go on and go on forever. Our substance, like the little widows meal barrel, it never gives out. The oil cruse never gives out because God is with us and He is a sufficiency. The all sufficiency. Let me say a few more words and I'm going to close; just exhorting you a little bit. Where is heaven then? Jesus was in heaven. Why? Because He never left the presence of the Spirit of God. He was in heaven. The only time that there was a reaction was at Calvary when He said, My God! My God! Why hast Thou forsaken Me? Because it showed Satan being cast out of heaven. And the sackcloth, the sun as black as sackcloth of hair. See? The middle wall of partition. That was the iniquity showing up. It had to be smitten to where it wouldn't be between me and the spirit when I go to change worlds, as you say as to your change, as to the Thessalonian change. There is nothing between me and God, not even the shadow of a pin. It's not between me and God. Not even that of a hair. Not between me and God. There is nothing between me and God for His seed remaineth within me and I cannot sin because I am born of God. He hath taken away my sins. All covered by the blood. Now let me say this in closing. Someone would say, Brother Pike, are you so ignorant that you stand there and tell me that you don't make any mistakes? No. It was said when I stood before Pilate, said, I find no fault in this just man. Somebody says, What are you talking about? I'm just telling you that when my flesh and blood, my flesh and bones stood there, couldn't find no fault in me. How many of you love the Lord? How many of you know that I'm the body of Christ, members in particular. Have we got anybody else? Got any body else? You must be confessing the same thing I'm confessing. So then, that means that God has taken away our sins and our iniquities. Now. Do you stumble? Do you stagger? Do you make mistakes? You know, you've got me under the guns, you know, you watch me. You're having strong delusions and a night mare and you'll wake up after awhile. But, as far as you're concerned you see all kind of wrongs. But you know what it is? It's not that I don't have faults and failures, as to my flesh, as to what you observe through the lying vanities, what God doesn't see. It isn't that. But what it is, the Bible said blessed is the man. I'm one of those blessed men. Blessed is the man unto whom God will not impute sin. He doesn't impute any sin unto me. When I stagger and stumble He doesn't impute any sin to me. Somebody said, But you tell me when I stagger and stumble I've sinned. I tell you you sinned because you're a sinner. You've never been born again. You ain't never been born again. That's why your staggerings and stumblings are sins, because you ain't never been born again. But, see? He doesn't impute sin unto me. And the Bible said, Blessed is the man whose sins are forgiven and whose iniquities are covered. That is, by the blood. See? God does not impute sin unto you. Did you know that when a little boy or girl stumbles and they're around Mama and Daddy and they stumble did you know that little boy and girl still belongs to Mama and Daddy? How many of you know that? Isn't that right? But did you know, another little boy and girl can come around and stumble and they don't belong to Mama and Daddy there. Isn't that strange? in the same house, standing before the same people. Little children stumbling around but it's not Mama and Daddy's little children that live in that house. Do you understand what I'm saying? That's the difference. That's the difference. See? I'm a son of God. I am a son of God. So then, those that are not of His household they're not sons of God. Though you come in and out, you know. This is called His house but you are not of His household; you are strangers. And them that He loves He chastens. Two kind of people, I say, that don't need any chastisement, two kind of children that I don't chastise. One of those children are the ones that don't belong to me. I don't chasten them because they don't belong to me. The Bible said if you are without chastisement then are ye bastards. And the one that honors me, as to my children, I don't chastise them. That is, speaking of them as being small. But the ones that belong to me that don't do right, do you know what I do? I chastise them. That's the way God does. So it's good to be a Christian. It's good to be free from sin and death. It's good to be free from sorrow but the Pentecostal world is still trying to figure out how they're going to get in on their righteousness. How that they're going to live and overcome. Let me tell you, folks, We should live an overcoming life, as to self-denial, as to fasting, as to prayer, the more the better. And we should live an overcoming life, as to conformity to the Word, studying and trying to understand It. To come into It in Its fullness. To know the Word of God that we might have faith in the Word of God, that we might have the benefits that come through faith by knowing the Word of God, because this is His promises to us. So then, we should do all of this to subdue this body to keep Satan from getting between us and our blessings. Not in the sense that God hasn't redeemed us, or that we're unclean, but in the sense that lying vanities through thoughts come up here and hinder us in having all of these great things that belong to us, that has been given to us in Christ and the devil comes up here with his lying vanities and his harassment of his old mind and talks us out of our blessings and out of our benefits and gets us under condemnation, causes us to dabble around with something that's unprofitable. Paul said, All things are clean unto me. All things are lawful unto me but all things are not expedient. All things don't edify. That's why, somebody says, I don't see anything wrong with hunting and fishing. I didn't say there was. You know, I'm just trying to explain to you. I don't want to dilly-dally with those things. I was a child once. When I was a child I acted like a child. When I became a man I put away childish things. I don't want to mess with those childish things. I don't want to be in bondage in my mind to the beggarly elements of this world. I don't care for those things. Let me say this: You're sitting on the river bank, you know, and you're sitting there, you know, like this and you're all excited and you stopper bobbling in the water. I've done that many times. Oooh, you're excited. Ain't that silly. And you're a son of God and you're trying to snatch his gills out. Here you are running around in the woods, you know, and you're big and strong and you've got a gun on your shoulder and after awhile you see him and you say, There he is, Frank. Bang! And Frank says, Oooh, you blowed his brains out. Don't you know that's silly? Don't you know that's childish? Don't you don't know that's just down right childish? When I was a child I did those things. But, folks, let me tell you. There is no place in the garden where God ever gave Adam a bow and arrow, or gave him a gun and said, When you feel all up tight go hunting. Do you understand what I'm saying, folks? We are sons and daughters of God. You know, I made the statement, I had a vision where at Bethlehem it was a paradise. Oh, it was so beautiful with the rivers and the streams and the birds, and just beautiful; a paradise. But we had one problem. We had to watch the hunters and the fishermen. That was the problem. All right. So, I love you and I'm just exhorting you a little bit tonight to let you know just how great and mighty we are. And that we're not sitting around waiting for some kind of a rapture, or these kind of things. We're changed from glory to glory, as to the inner revealing, as to the revelation of this great wonderful knowledge which is the mind of Jesus Christ, even the fullness of God. And so then heaven is where? Heaven is where? Heaven is My throne, earth is My footstool. God fills everything. Paul said He's above you. He's in you. He's through you. He's everywhere. You translate, as to a spirit, into that great eternal spirit. That is heaven. The kingdom of heaven, it is where? It is at hand. What can I do? The Bible said you can be translated into it and it can be in you. The kingdom of God is within you. See? So it is a revelation. It is a Word. It is a declaration. It is a great invisible force. It is that which you cannot see with the natural. You cannot see it in the natural because it does not come by observation. And that's why so many millions will miss it. And so many preachers today are just as carnal as the congregation. They're just as carnal. All the preaching they do, the shouting and dancing, speaking in tongue, in everything they do they're just as carnal as the can be. Let's stand together. Old Saul prophesied and was still just as carnal as he could be. Balaam had the vision; just as carnal as he could be. God killed him because of his iniquity. Rebuked him by the dumb ass and with a man's voice, the Bible said, forbade the madness of the prophets, or the prophet. Do you love the Lord? To them that can see, to them that can understand, to them that can receive then let them receive it because it can only be received by them to whom it is given. Jesus said to some of them that it is not given unto them to know the mysteries of the kingdom because they are not part of the kingdom. Great is the mystery of godliness. It's sad that men spend their lives seeking the great spirit by formalities and ritualistics. Some try to pray their way through. Some try to fast their way through. Some count beads. Some go through other formalities. Some listen at words, as to filling their intellect with learning, and the Bible said, Even learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. But God is a spirit and they that worship God must worship Him in spirit and in truth. This is why many of you, your lives are filled with error because you have not the Holy Spirit but the spirit of error. And God has not given us that spirit of error. Satan gave that spirit and you're always doing the little things that you think don't matter and the little foxes spoil you're vine. You do the little things but, folks, let me tell you, when you get the great Holy Spirit you sell all you've got for that. You don't want to think no thoughts wrong. You don't want to reserve no thoughts to yourself. You're not trying to reserve something to yourself, as to what you can say or what you can do or what you can think. You get rid of every thought and you seek Him first and you fall on Him and you follow Him and you become one with Him and you walk in the spirit because you are in the spirit and you're not in the flesh. Well, glory to God, I'm glad I made it. All right. Let's sing a little chorus together. Somebody says, Brother Pike, what if you wake up to the fact you didn't make it? What do you mean if I wake up to the fact I didn't make it? How could I wake up to the fact that I didn't make it when I did make it? All right. Let's sing a little chorus, Brother Taylor. Brother Taylor sings, He's here, He's here, He's everywhere and He's been here all the time. Sing that song we sang this morning. (Singing) You know, He just waits in line. Can you raise that a little, Brother Taylor? You know, He waits in line. You know, you've got to do this, and then you've got to do this, and they you've got to do this and He just waits patiently in line until you do all of those things you feel like you've got to do. And then after while you get around to say, Well, I guess I'll have to call on Jesus. I guess maybe it is that way after all. (Singing) Can you sing that with me? Let's sing it together. (Singing) (Begin tape two, side one.) Can you sing that with me? Let's sing it together. (Singing) Do you believe that? Do you believe that He was here? Let's sing ;this little chorus together. (Singing) Can you sing it again with me? (Singing) Are you happy all the day? Someone says occasionally to me, they say, Brother Pike, how is it you keep the victory all the time? Well, fist of all, the Bible says, This is the victory that overcometh the world and that is that you never did to anything to start with to overcome it. It's just believing in what I've done. And I don't find that too hard. For this is the victory that overcometh the world, even your faith. And the Bible said, Greater is He that is within you than he that is in the world. That takes care of it right there. If greater is He that is in the world how can he that is in the world over come you? You've got to bind the strong man before you can go into his house and spoil his goods and the devils can't bind Jesus. They can't bind the Holy Ghost. If you don't have the Spirit of Christ, which is the Holy Ghost, the Bible said, if you have not His Spirit you're none of His, they can come into you, like Mary Magdalene, seven devils. Even if you've been washed and cleaned up and not filled with the Spirit they'll go into you. They'll go into you. And then you say, How can you keep the victory, Brother Pike? I look at it the other way around, How can you do anything when you've got the victory. I didn't have anything to do with it. I didn't have anything to do with getting it, how can I have anything to do with losing it? Oh, somebody says, Brother Pike, you know that you can lose out with God. All I know is what the Bible says and the Bible says nothing can separate you from the love of God. Heights, depths, things present, devils, demons or nothing else. And the Bible said, And nothing can separate you from the love of God. So then, somebody said, I'm holding on tight. I'm holding on. You don't have anything to do with it. Somebody said, But, Brother Pike, I had to seek and search this thing out. I tell you right now, the Bible said you didn't seek and search for nothing. You didn't search for me. I came looking for you. How could you see anything? You were lost. He's the only one that knows His way around. God put Moses in the wilderness. Them folks didn't know their way around. They had to do what Moses said. If they'd known their way around they'd never stayed there forty years. They would have gone on into Canaan. Brother Taylor sings, He knows the way through the wilderness; all we have to do is follow. So, folks, this is the victory. Somebody said, Well, what if you backslide and die. Then you'll die, Brother Pike. You'll sin and you'll go to hell. How can I die when the Bible said I've passed from death unto life? And how can I sin when the Bible said he that is born of God can't sin? Do you love the Lord? We won't preach to you. Let's just sing another chorus, can we? Just reminding you of your benefits in the Lord and how great and mighty you really are. See? The Bible said as a child you differ nothing from a servant. You don't know nothing about nothing. You're just under tutors until the time appointed of the Father. But did you know the time of the Father is drawing nigh now? You're lord of all. You're His bone. You're His flesh. There is no sin in your life, Christian friend. There is no sin in your life. Somebody said, Well, you just don't know how I stumble and stagger. Yes, I do. I watch you. I say if the little boy stumble he still belongs to daddy. He's till the son of God. God isn't going to put you out. He that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. There ain't no way you can sin, folks. Somebody said, Well, just suppose I took a notion and just proved it to you. Well, you can tell by those kind of words coming out of a fellow, or those kind of thoughts coming out of his bosom he's a devil. You don't have to worry about him proving nothing to you. He ain't got nothing to start with. When you've got God in your heart all you want to do is love Him. And when you stumble and stagger the Lord will give you a good spanking and that's the end of it. He ain't going to impute no sin unto you. Let's sing a chorus, can we? Let's sing I love Him. Can you sing I love Him? (Singing) The love of God. Can't separate you from the love of God. (Singing) You know, folks, if I spent all of my time worrying about what the devil was going to do to me, I would never have time to preach. And it's for sure I would never have no victory to tell you about this wonderful overcoming life. So many times I see poor, pitiful folks, and I've done it, you know, back in my real early life, slip and slide, you know, get upset and get out of tune. God would have to twist the key a little and I'd say, I ought not to have done that. I ought not to have done that. Whee! Boy it's getting close. I almost sinned. I almost done it. Oh, I'm going to have to watch. God help your poor little self. You just messed up your diaper. Mama can change it and you'll be all right. She'll just put you in the tub and you'll be all right. Do you love the Lord? You still belong to Mama and Daddy. She'll clean you up. Let's sing another chorus together, can we? (Singing) Sing it with me if you're sons and daughters of the Lord. (Singing) Don't you feel safe? Don't you feel safe? How long? (Singing) Little Bethlehem is the home of the soul. Let's sing this chorus. (Singing) Don't you want to be saved? Don't you want to be saved? Wouldn't you like to be in Canaan? Somebody says, Tell me what I have to do? Just believe. Believe what? Just what I told you. Faith cometh by the hearing of what I've told you. You say, What are you talking about, Brother Pike? I told you that we're in heaven? Do you believe you're in heaven? I'm in heaven. That's all it took. That's all it took. Somebody said, Do you mean you don't have to do nothing but that? That don't even seem exciting, does it? I know I've got to do something. I've got to count my beads and drink my holy water, or do something. No. Believe it or not, before the world ever was He chose us in Christ and He sent a preacher to tell you. He said, Hey, folks, did you know that some of you are heavenly creatures? And that God hid you in Christ, or hid you with God in Christ before the world ever was? And that He sanctified and saved and predestinated you? And that He sent me down here to tell you that everything is going to be all right? that you ain't got nothing to worry about, that all of those worries that you had back down through your lifetime was just a bunch of lying vanities, that you ain't never belong to this world to begin with? And that He made you in Christ to be without spot, wrinkle, and blemish? Can't you just see Jesus coming down here in this world marrying somebody that's been a harlot? that's played the harlot? that's done all kind of evil, rotten things and said, That's all right. I'll clean you up and I'll still marry you? Can't you just picture that? No. She never did do nothing wrong to start with. His bride has been a virgin all the time. She never did do anything wrong. He just came down here to bring faith that she might be justified and justified means to prove she never was guilty. When you go before the judge if you're justified that proves you wasn't guilty, just the accusations. Do you love the Lord? Somebody says, But, Brother Pike, didn't He save us from our sins? He certainly did. Saved us from our sins. Somebody says, If we never sinned how did he save us from our sins? That's why He saved us from our sins, so we never would sin. Do you love the Lord? So then, we belong to God. As to the world and the observation of the world, they look on the outward appearance. You've done many things wrong, beloved Brother, and you've done just like all the rest and you're just as guilty and dirty and filthy as all the rest. God wouldn't look at it through the muck, but see? When a little child messes up his diaper I've seen some in some bad shapes. Some of you mothers are acquainted with it. And a little ole fellow he's sitting there and he don't know nothing about it. He's just a splattering around in it, you know. He'll just look at you and goo and splatter the more. And Mama she just feels like She just like this, you know. And it doesn't bother him. You can stick him in the tub and he'll just splatter there, too. My little grand baby Joe, he'll say, Joe, Joe, Mammaw, Joe, Joe. You know, that's all you ever did. You just got down there and messed with the pigs and the dogs. Isn't that what Jesus said? Said there swine and dogs. Somebody said, Well, I one time was a swine and dog and God, He redeemed me and I'm a son of God. You don't believe no stuff like that, do you? Do you believe God's going to change a pig into a son of God and a dog into a son of God? Why would He do that? Why would He make him a son of God instead of a pig to begin with? Why would He go through all of that? Do you think He'd take His Son and send His Son down from heaven and kill His Son and smite His Son and let His Son suffer the way He did and spill His blood and let all the saints of God die as martyrs, and say when He got through, Pig, you're no longer a pig. Somebody says, Well, how does He do it? It works like this: You can go out and get the old pig, and the Bible said after the sow is washed she'll go back to her wallowing in the mire. She's still a pig. And you can get the old dog but when he gets through vomiting he'll go back and lap his vomit. Ain't you glad you ain't a dog, or a pig? All right. So we're children of God, that's why we shout and sing. That's why we praise God, because we love Him and He loves us. Praise God! Let's sing this little chorus, Everything's going to be all right. I feel like it will. Don't you, Brother Taylor? (Singing) The altars are open. (Singing) Wouldn't you like to go overseas and go into all the world and tell those people that are lost, that are wondering around, about this great tidings, glad tidings of great joy? Wouldn't you like to go over there and get them out of the wilderness and frustration of indoctrinations of all kind of a wilderness? Wouldn't you like to get them out of that? Wouldn't you like to go tell them and let them know that they're sons of God and they don't need to be sitting out there in the darkness with all the fear around those houses of horror? And that they don't need to eat out of the hog pens and fill their bellies with the husks of the hogs? That they are children and their Father has a great inheritance that's not corruptible, that will not pass away, and that He's waiting to put a ring on their finger and shoes on their feet? Oh, somebody says, What do you mean, Brother Pike? You bring them over there He's got to wash them and get them all cleaned up. Somebody said they've got to do all these things. The Bible said the father just met him. He didn't ask him to do nothing. He just met him, Brother Taylor. I can just picture him in my mind. He said, Son! Oh, glory to God, you're at home. Hallelujah! Here's a ring for your finger. Here's some shoes for your feet. Somebody say hallelujah! Glory to God! He saw those old raggedy shoes on his feet and there he was a king and he thought, My son running around in rags. Son, here's you a ring and get those ole dirty pieces of shoes off. Somebody say I love you, heavenly Father. Glory to God! Glory to God! Ain't Jesus good? All this time He's been searching for us. Now He's found us. Put a ring on his finger. Put the shoes on his feet. And he said, Son, go out there and get that fatted calf. Glory to God! Let's slaughter it and let's have a revival. I mean a revival because my son that was lost he saved now, he's back at Somebody say hallelujah! How many of you know he was the son all the time? All the time he was messing around with them pigs down there he was still his son, wasn't he? He had just lost his way home, that's all. One day he came to his senses and he said, Away with this stuff, I'm going home. I'm tire of the dogs vomit and I'm tired of these old sows wallowing in the mire; I'm going home. I'm going home! Glory to God, I'm going home. How wonderful it is to be a Christian. Let's sing this little chorus. (Singing) Let's give Him another hand. You know, there was one other thing, folks. The devil will cripple you, he'll hurt you, he'll blind you, he'll put all king of diseases on you. He'll make you uncomfortable and then he'll tell you that you should be very patient and be very willing to suffer for the glory of God. And then when he about half kills you he'll say, You realize that this is for the glory of God? Say, Yes. He'll say, Okay, I'm going to finish killing you and you can have double glory. So we know that he's lying. God don't want you sick and He don't want me sick. God has nothing to do with sickness. Like Sister Frances told me on the phone, said, the devil is trying to kill me and he ain't going to kill me. And he didn't. She's still back there. So. Say, Well, you've got to die sometimes. I don't know. The Bible said we've passed from death unto life. We don't have to die no time. And besides that when Jacob got tired and weary and sleepy the Bible said he just did like Jesus. He yielded up the ghost. Called them all in and told them goodbye. Now, let me tell you something. It is God's will for us to be healthy and whole. God is life and health and happiness and he's grieved when you're grieved. He's weary when you're weary and He wants to enter into you in the abundance of living, which means filled up and overflowing. Jesus said come that you might have life abundantly, filled up and overflowing, for I am the prince of life. And He doesn't want you to think any other way. You mustn't think any other way. You mustn't think any other way. That's a negative observation of lying vanities that causes you in your thoughts not to believe in the truth and forsake the mercies of God that's given you for he that observes lying vanities forsaketh his own mercy. Which means all the benefits that are given him in Christ. So then, just think clear. Stop and think clear and say, My God! I've been a fool. I've been a fool. What kind of fool have I been to think that God is trying to make me sick? The Bible said a kingdom that is divided it can't stand. A household that's divided it can't stand. And if God said, Jesus, go down there and heal them and as fast as you heal them I'm going to kill them. There wouldn't be much to that would there? See? God and Jesus were one. Jesus said, My Father and I are, said, it's just one of us. Isn't that right? One God. Come on, folks. Said, You're looking at me, Thomas. Isn't that right? And that one God, the same yesterday, today and forever to a thousand generations, promises unaltered even in heaven. The Bible said that God went about doing good, healing all. How many of you know that when they wrote that song Whosoever that included me? And when He said all, isn't that you? Let me ask you one question. Let me ask you one question. If Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, if He came by here tonight and there was some sick folks here what would He do? What would He do? Would He say, Be patient, this is for the glory of God? You're half dead and if you'll be patient it won't be long and you'll be You know He wouldn't talk like that, would He? No. So it must be somebody else you're listening too. The Bible said, My sheep know My voice; a stranger they won't follow. Isn't that right? He would heal you because He healed all. He couldn't change; He healed all. Somebody said, Well, I know if He came by here. How many of you know He came by here? We sing that song, Come by here, Lord, come by here. Somebody needs Your healing, Lord, come by here. Can we sing that song, Frank? Give me another key. (Singing. Begin tape two, side two. Singing.) Do you really believe that? Where two or three and gathered together in His name He said He would be in the midst of us. So He came by here. So He's here tonight. So we say, What should we do? Believe what He said. Well, if He'd say something to me I would. He's been talking to you for a long time. Long time. Believest thou this? Do you believe? The Bible said they shall be taught of God. It's not the minister that speaks but God speaking from within Him. How many of you know that this is His body and is bone and that a man's spirit speaks out of his body and his bones. How many of you know that? So then, what did He say? The man said, Good master. He had leprosy. He said, If you would you could make me whole. The man had that kind of confidence in Him. Do you know what He said? He said, Okay, be whole. Wasn't that easy? Be whole, it's okay. Somebody says, Well, bless God, I want to be healed, too. Okay, be healed. Let's give Him a hand. Somebody say hallelujah! You say, Brother Pike, is it that easy? It's just that easy. He did it all. That's why we shout and sing. That's why we get excited over Him. That's why we praise Him. Greater is He that is in you than Satan that's in the world. Somebody say, I love you, Jesus. Let's go home happy, healthy and well and tell the world, glory to God, about this great and mighty Jesus that's resurrected from the dead. Let's lift our hands up and close our eyes and praise Him. I'm going to ask Brother Clyde Cobbs to come up here, if he will, and pray with you tonight. The Lord loves you tonight. He loves us. Whooo, it makes me feel good all over tonight. That old tired heavy weight gone. Sickness and all them ill feelings gone. The oppression gone. Glory to God. Hallelujah! Somebody say hallelujah! Praise God.
