Living Words

Let's read from over in the book of Isaiah, chapter fifty-three. It says in the book of Isaiah, the first verse of the fifty third chapter, "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? (Brother Pike continues reading all of chapter fifty-three, fifty-four, and verses one through three of chapter fifty-five.) Now. The Word of God is beautiful. It is so wonderful. I spend my entire life from day to day, whether during the day or at night, or whatever, I'm always talking to God, things on God, wanting to meditate in the laws of God. I love singing. I write songs. I find many things to do. I love to build. I just love to do all kind of things, but the theme of my heart is the Word of Christ Jesus, and the revelation of the Son of God, the revealed mysteries of the great heavenly treasure that the Bible says that we have in these earthen vessels. So it is so beautiful. I can get fascinated with it, and just stay for days. I've done it for many months, just stay for many months, day after day. My wife, she was like a widow, you know. I wanted to be with Christ, and I wanted to think on the word of God. I just love it. It feeds my soul in such a great, mighty way. And these Words are not just Words of expression, these are Words of Eternal Life. On one occasion when different ones was leaving Jesus, Jesus said to the disciples, Would ye also go away, and they said, To whom shall we go? for you alone, you have Eternal life, or the Words of Eternal Life. So then, these are words of Spirit, and they are life. You know, when we say things like that people are so intellectual that they listen to these things, and they accept these things as an expression, because that's all they know to do. See? They hear you say these things, and man can only receive what God will let him receive, so then, when he receives this it's just an intellectual expression as to his concept. See? But that's not what it is at all. That's why that the church world is so bogged down. That's why they don't have the joys of Christian living, and that's why they're not enthused as David was when he said, I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. See? they don't have joy. They don't have the enthusiasm. Their joy and jubilance is taught by the things of the world. They joy out of ball games. And they get joy our of going to the movies. And they get joy out of watching television shows. And reading novels, and they get joy out of riding, and eating, and drinking, and all of these kind of things. But when you come to know God, when you come to understand God, and you really get into the things of God, all of that, all of that is but nothing. I'm telling you the truth. Once you come to know God, and once you get into the great Spirit world, and the world of revelation, and you move out of this world here, once your angelic being that's tabernacling in your little body of clay moves into that great dimension of God you loose sight of the world. You wouldn't give one moment of that inspiration and that relationship for all that the world has to offer. It's no wonder that the world, the church world is all laden down. It's because they are not abiding within the Word. They're not moving with God in the spirit. They don't see these things, and what they see is a fascinating thing as to the natural out in the world. That's why the Bible said pray that God will grant unto you the Spirit of Revelation that your eyes might be enlightened, that you might comprehend the heights, the depth, and the width, and the length of this glorious thing that God almighty has done. What could be more beautiful than God. If things are beautiful how much more beautiful is He that made things? If a diamond is beautiful, if a ruby is beautiful, how much more beautiful is He that hath made it and put it together. The birds, the ocean, the species of the water, the beautiful animals that roam the forest, and the stars in the heaven, all these great things God has made. And as we've said so many times, God, in making these things, it didn't make Him any greater. All of these things He did, it did not make Him any greater. He was great. That's why He made the things. He was already the greatest of the great. Nothing greater than God. But it's the expression of God as in love, and as of His greatness, as the attributes of God to you and me to let us know the greatness of our heavenly Father. And to let us know the strength in witch we trust. That is, the Bible has said no one can pluck you out of the hands of God. There is nothing that can separate you from the love of God. It doesn't matter if it's heights, if it's depths, if it's things to come, if it's things present, things fo the past, there is nothing, not even Lucifer, not even Satan can separate you from the love of God. We ought to remember that. He said, behold, I give unto you all power over the powers of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Not only do we have power over Satan, but we have power over death. The one dread of mankind is death. He doesn't like the thoughts of death. He draws back from death, and he greatly fears death. But, see? We don't have to do that. The Bible said all of our lives we're subject to bondage because of the fear of death, But we don't fear death. We don't have any fear of death, because we are not going to die. Like I said a little bit earlier. I don't have any wants because the Lord is my shepherd, and David said, I shall not want. He supplies all of my needs. See? I don't fear death because I'm not planning to die. The Bible teaches I've already passed from death unto life, and shall never come into condemnation. Because I believe that then I don't have to die. Oh! Somebody would say, Brother Pike, wait a minute. You know that one day they're going to put you in a hole. They're going to throw dirt in your face. I know. You know, Jesus called that sleep. We call it death, and the Bible refers to the second death, which means the first death and the second death, but the first death, according to the bible is a sleep. And somebody would say, Well, six of one and half a dozen of the other. When you're dead, you're dead. But it isn't like that at all. It's not like that at all. I wish we had time to elaborate on it more, but it's not like that at all. Not at all. So then. There is nothing less than a world of difference between the first departure and the second departure. So then, we know, staying with the theme of our thought here, we know that we have passed from death unto life, and we know this because we love the brothers. We love the brethren and sisters of God's work, of His body, of His kingdom. We love one another with a Godly love, an Holy love, a pure love. Not the adulterating lust of the world but the unadulterated Word brings us love and an unadulterated love from God. So then, we see that we have a great opportunity to comprehend, to comprehend the heights, we comprehend the depths, to comprehend the length. We have the privilege to do this. Someone would say, Well, the whole world, Brother Pike, has privilege. But, I want you to know the whole world doesn't have this privilege. The Bible said, This light shined in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. Great light is sprang up unto them that set in the regions of the shadow of death. The Bible tells us that is did. Jesus came, the light of the world, but the Bible said that light shined in the darkness but the darkness did not have the power to comprehend that great light, but He tells us that we have the Power to comprehend that light. Paul comprehended by faith in God until he transformed into the third heaven. John comprehended until he heard a voice saying come up hither. And he found himself in heaven. Elijah comprehended until he found himself in glory and Enoch comprehended until by faith he was translated that he should not see death. So then, when we say death we can comprehend and pass over death. Not only have we passed from death unto life, which means the second death in that our spirit can never be separated from God, or go into the Lake of Fire, in that is says that is the second death, but we have the ability to comprehend coming into this knowledge, this heavenly treasure. In the day that we're living in we have the ability to comprehend this great knowledge of God, and the great love of God. We have this ability to do that that we don't have to sleep. That's the thing that I like. I said, We don't have to sleep. We don't have to go into a casket. We don't have the dirt thrown into our face. We have the ability to move on with God if we'll go on as the church world to come to Thessalonians change where the Bible said, And the dead in Christ shall rise first, and we witch are alive and remain, Not the dead in the casket, but we witch are alive and remain shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, from this dust of mortality to that great, wonderful, Celestial Being of Immortality, changed from corruption to the incorruptible body of Almighty God. We have the ability to come into this knowledge, into this faith, into the transformating of the mind, being transformated, or changed from glory to glory, moving into the mind of Christ, coming out of the world of darkness, out of the intellectual darkness. One thing I'd like for us to really think about and that is, that when you are born into this world as of the first man Adam, all of your understanding is darkness. All of your thinking is darkness. It doesn't matter if you go to college. It doesn't matter how brilliant you might be. You might far excel many people, But you're still in bondage to the beggarly elements of the world, as to the gullible desire of these things, and you are still in the darkness of your intellectual reasoning. And that darkness, which is that mind of Lucifer as to the infiltration of the mind of Lucifer that is in the human spirit. That darkness is so great. The Bible said if that Light within you be darkness how great is that darkness. So, the devil is a light in that he has been in an angelic realm, and though he is a light to the extent he hath understood many things of God. Yet he is the spirit of darkness because he has been rejected and put into the outer darkness, or that is to say anything without the radius of God, When you leave the confines of God you are in darkness because He is the Light. And He is the light of the world. All of the People of the world are in darkness, but we are the children of light and the Bible said the day of the coming of the Lord shall come as a snare upon all of them that dwell on the earth, because Lucifer, Satan, even the God of this world, has blinded their eyes, even the eyes of understanding that they cannot see when good cometh. But you are not children that are blinded. You are children of light, and you know when the day is nigh even at the door. You know when the coming of the Lord is near. And it's near right now. The coming of the Lord is nigh even at the door. The days of the Gentiles is just about finished. So then, we know that we have passed from death unto Life. We understand that we've passed from death unto life, that we can go on with this great understanding of God, and this great knowledge of God, of transformating until it will be like Enoch. By faith he was translated that he should not see death. I've said this a lot of times. Someone says, Well he was translated, but he has to come back and die. One of the greatest Bible scholars of our day teaches that, and I have respect unto him because I think he is one of the greatest Bible scholars in the world, but he's wrong. Enoch does not come back and die. If he does come back and die, I've said this so many times, if he does come back and die then the Scriptures are broken. And the Bible says the Scriptures cannot be broken. It said the Enoch was translated that he should not see death. So then, if he was translated that he should not see death, and then if he comes back to see death then the Scriptures have been altered, or broken, and that can't be that way. So then, Enoch, a type of the church, it indicates to you and I that before the law ever came it was faith in God. Abraham, four hundred and thirty years before the law ever come, he was justified by faith. Here is Enoch before the days of Father Abraham and he's being justified by faith. Walked with God three hundred years and the Bible said he was not for God took him. That means that Enoch was translated that he should not see death, and he went away to be with God, he is still with God. He has never died. He's never going to die. He's never going to die because before the law of sin and death ever came God reached down and took him away and justified him by faith, and the heavens have declared the handiwork of God unto him. He received the understanding of God by faith in those things and went away to be with God. And here we are today on the other side of the law. I acknowledge, as I've said, that Moses and Elijah will come back, and they will die. As two prophets in the streets they will die because they were not before the law. They were under the law of sin and death. Their time was under the law of sin and death, and therefore they have to come back and they have to die. But the thing is, we are over here, beloved friend, on the other side of Calvary. We've crossed over the Jordan, we're beyond death. We've come to this other side and we're like Enoch. We are not under the law of sin and death. We do not have to die. We die because of one reason, and that is, the lack of knowledge. The Bible said, Ye are Gods. Which means ye should live forever. Ye are Gods. He said, I've made you Gods. I've give you eternal life. But, He said, You still die like men. Someone would say, Brother Pike, You know that if you was God you couldn't die. But Jesus was God, and He did die. He did die. He walked all the way up into glory, appeared in the midst of Moses and Elijah, and came back down as a man and went to Calvary and died. He said, You are Gods but ye shall die like men from lack of Knowledge. You don't understand what God has done for you. You don't understand the benefits of God or you wouldn't have to sleep. When we say die speaking of the sleep. You wouldn't have to go to sleep. Paul, says, I know something that will keep people awake. He said, Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep. Jesus said, Lazarus sleepeth. I go to awake him. Paul said, I learned a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but he said, we'll be changed. So then, we don't have to go to sleep. If we come into the knowledge of God, this great wonderful thing that God is wanting us to come into then we don't have to sleep. We can awake the dead from out of the dust the prophets and many others did when they called them out as Jesus called Lazarus out, Peter and the others raised them from dead. We can call them back form the dead. We have the power to do that, to call them out of the grave. For we have all power over all the powers of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us. And you know, this is what I like. We don't sin. I know that some don't agree with this, but we don't sin. We don't sin. Someone would say, Brother Pike, everybody sins. But the Bible says that we don't sin. It said He that is born of God. And you know that this is something that the church world is going to have to get ahold of. It is no wonder that people die, because they believe in death. They believe in death. the Bible said the just shall live by faith, and here Eve is. She doesn't have faith in what God said so she goes to another source of understanding, and partakes of the Tree of Knowledge and she died. But the Bible says faith in the Word translated Enoch that He should not see death. Why there's people in the world today they don't have enough time to study God's Word. They're so busy thinking their own foolish little thoughts, or they're filled up with the gullible desire of every devilish thing that Satan has Got. Everything in the world, you know, until they don't have any place for the Word of God. How could they ever understand the Word of God, or believe the Word of God, to be translated by the Word of God, or believe the Word of God, to be translated by the Words of Life when they don't even know the Words of Life, an they don't give themselves time to learn the Words of Life. They're so busy eating and drinking and going and thinking their own thoughts when the Bible said, lean not to thine own understanding. When the Bible said cast down imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why should I do that? Because I want to live. Why should I do that? Brother Taylor, why should I quit thinking all other thoughts? Why should I leave off with all of the other thoughts that I'm born with? Somebody said. Brain washing me, that's what you're doing. No. I'm soul washing you. Your brain is so dirty you'll never get it clean. God's going to have to do away with that one and give you another one. So then, why would I want to do that? Because I want to live. I want to live. I don't want to die. And the Only way that I can live is by faith in His word. Otherwise I'll die. I'm born with a mind of Man, which there's nothing wrong with that. When God gave it to Adam there was nothing wrong with it, but the only thing is, now there is an infiltration, and that mind is infiltrated and God has to eradicate the infiltration. He's trying to bring the Words of Life to You to use as a filter to Get the death, or the foolishness, or the iniquity out of your system. The Bible said, thine iniquities have separated between thee and thy God. He said, My hand is not short that I can't reach you. My ear's not dull that I can't hear you. He said, but there is a middle wall of partition between us since the days of Adam, and he said that is the flesh, as to the weakness of the woman, pointing to the flesh It is the infiltration. It is the iniquity that came into Eve representing man's flesh. And that must be done away with. And you know, this is the beautiful part of it. At Calvary Jesus rent the veil in two. And the Bible said He made a sure way to the spirit, gave us a more word of prophecy. And rent the veil into. Frank sings the song, Christ rent the veil in two. He rent the veil in two, and the Bible said that is His flesh. remember now. He separated the body from the spirit. He rent the veil in two, and made a sure way through His flesh saying, I am the open door. I am the door. And He separated the spirit, the angelic part from the human being, or the person of the human being, and today it is separated. He rent the veil in two. For the Bible said He made in Himself twain, which means two, both Jesus and the Christ. He made Himself both Lord and Christ, which means the Jesus and the Christ, and made Himself as a human being in the person or image of sin, becoming my sin. Though He knew no sin He become my sin that I might become His righteousness in God. That's why I read to you here. It says, And your righteousness is of me, Your righteousness is not of your ritualistics, or the things that you do through life. You righteousness is of Me. The Jews made the mistakes of thinking is was a personal righteousness, which the Bible says was as filthy rags. And He said, Less your righteousness exceeds that of human righteousness of the Pharisees, of the Scribes, of the religious ritualistics of life, less it be an excelling righteousness. That is to say the great righteousness of the Son of God. Less It be the excellent righteousness even Christ's righteousness. We being found, but with our own righteousness but in His righteousness putting on His body. If we be found with His righteousness, then we have eternal life, But unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees as to the ritualistics as to religion, he said you won't have eternal life. So I've often referred to this. We see an example of this in the temple when the man said, I fast. I pay tithes of all that I possess. Look at me, he says. And the Lord just turned His head. And the other man, he came and he said, I don't have anything. This was about the essence of the things he said. I don't have anything. I'm poor. I'm wretched. I don't have anything. Oh, God! he said, have mercy on me. And the Bible said that man down to his house justified rather than the other man, because as one man stood in the ability of his own doing, his own strength, his own righteousness, and it was an abomination in the sight of God, it was as filthy rags, but the other man stood here having nothing to offer God, and he said, Oh, My God! Have mercy on me. And he took on the righteousness of the Son of God, And excelled the other man. Less your righteousness exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees ye shall not inherit eternal life. So then, this is why that I'm so thrilled over this thing. (begin side two of tape No.1) I want the righteousness of God, and I can't have it except by faith, because God purifies my heart by faith. That is, I must believe in the atonement, and I must believe in the finished works of Calvary, and when I do this then God's Eternal Spirit comes into my heart and washes my heart, and cleanses my heart all by His grace. All by His grace. Through my faith come the wonderful spirit of life, and God cleanses my heart and then the temple is sanctified and life abides there forever. So then, it's a wonderful thing to be a Christian, and it's a wonderful thing to understand. The Bible said, With wisdom get understanding. God give us an understanding heart. God, grant unto us the spirit of revelation. So then, I want to live. I'm willing to get rid of my thoughts, in that my thoughts have been infiltrated as a man, and they've been infiltrated with the thoughts of Lucifer and Lucifer is the power that is over this world. You know, this is the part that we don't like. We like to think of Lucifer as that wretched one that kills and destroys, and makes us miserable. We love to think of him as that wretched one, you know, that causes cancer and causes all of the things of the world, that causes the discomforts, and we love to think of God as the giver of the good things of life, you know. That's right. But we get everything misconstrued. See? I said the other night, the devil can't do anything to you unless you invite him in. The devil can't do anything to you unless you give place to him. Eve had to give place to the devil before he could do the things that he did. You have to give place to the devil, because you have power over the devil. You have power over the devil. And the Bible said draw nigh to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Jesus would just say, thou art an offense unto me, Satan. Get thee behind me. That's all there was to it. I have power over the enemy. All of the enemy. How many of you know that death is an enemy? You know, I say this a lot of times. People, they act like death is a friend of God, but death is not the friend of God. God did not bring death. God did not instigate death. Death plays no part in God's plan as to His desire. The Bible said that God has no pleasure in death. Not even the death of the wicked. So then, man has brought death because of disobedience and unbelief, and the infiltration of the wrong kind of thinking. And God is trying to eradicate, get the death out, get the filth out. Just like a physician would put the needle to your arm and put the serum in there to kill the disease, or the germ, so has God done that. He has sent His Spirit into our heart crying, abba, Father, moving out the disease, trying to eradicate. Get everything out so that we can live forever. He doesn't want to hurt you. You know, somebody said, Well, He wants to kill me, Brother Pike. He doesn't want to hurt your body. The Bible said the body is the temple of the Lord. He tell us it's the temple where He wants to live, but the only way that God can get the infiltration out of you is to put you to the fire, and the devil he'll run. You know, if you're willing to stay to the fire, if you're willing as we say, to put your nose to the grinding stone, and you're willing to stay there the devil won't do that. He'll leave. So God has to put to you through the fire, just like you'd take the gold and melt the gold you've got to get all of the infiltration out so the gold will be pure, so that there won't be anything interwoven with gold. He puts it through the fire. The Bible said the trying of your faith is more precious than gold tried in the furnace. So God is trying to get the impurities out of us to preserve the body, the human image, to take it through the transformating that it might be a glorious God body that will live forever. Bone of His bone and flesh of His Flesh. Give me a few more minutes and let me say a thing or two here and we'll let you go. All right, so then, we think of Satan as the cruel one. We think of him as the one that brings cancer, and whatever. And he is the cause of it. He is the one that brought it. Sin and death and sickness all comes from Lucifer. Came from the garden experience. There was no death. There was no sorrow. There was no sickness until eve listened to the devil, and Adam listened to eve. And since that time there has been a curse upon the world. But we have a chance to escape the curse. God said, The day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. And He brought the curse upon man that man should travail amongst the briars and all of these things. Natural briars? Natural briars. We see them Growing. Physical briars as to these things that attacks our body as to sickness, diseases, and then spiritual briars, as to Lucifer, the fallen angels, unclean spirits, evil powers that that probe at our minds, fears, frustration. We define the spirits by these kind of things. All right. We see the dimensional walk of God. We see God teaching us spiritual things by the natural. Whereas, the Bible said all of the invisible things of God from the creation of the world are clearly understood by the things which do appear, even the eternal Godhead so that we are without excuse. But here is what we fail to see. Does cancer come upon us because of our way of thinking as to Satan, or is it something that is the results of fellowshipping the wrong power? When you fellowship disease you're going to die. When you fellowship health you're going to be happy. So, if you fellowship the devil and you give place to the devil, then you're going to die. Why will you die? Because the judgments of God is; The day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. That is; I am the spirit of life, and I am the spirit of joy. And serving me is joy peace and righteousness in my spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, this is happiness. And the day that you leave this and the day you get out of my presence you're going to die. The day that you withdraw your faith from believing in this spirit of life, this Word of life, you're going to die. The spirit of life. Somebody would say, Give me the spirit, brother Pike. God has poured out of his Spirit. I'm getting all that I can Get. But what we fail to realize is rather the Spirit of God is given to us through the Word of God, which means the knowledge of God, and the only way you have the Spirit of life is to have the knowledge of Life, because It's brought to us through the human instrumentality. That is to say, through ears of hearing I hear what God is saying through the preacher. It's not him speaking bit God speaking, in the Bible says they shall all be taught of God. I hear this Word and I believe this Word, and then I act upon this Word. And this Word that's been an intellectual knowledge, or something that's come from a vocabulary expression that has hit my ear drums as to the human senses. I've taken that into my heart. If I take that Word into my heart then it changes and it Becomes spirit, and it becomes life, and it comes back from a well on the inside. The wells of salvation. And it begins to feed my thirsty soul. And it begins to feed my outer man until the light begins to penetrate this veil until the veil is completely eradicated, and to he dissipation of the image and nothing but light is shining. That is to say, as it was with Stephen when he was so filled with the spirit that His countenance began to light up. The Bible said wisdom maketh a man's face to shine, or that is to say, this that we've taken in on the inside is dropping the seed unto the ground. All of a sudden it breaks forth into life, it tousles out, and it brings forth meat to the eater. Or that is to say, I take the seed of God on the inside of me, and it springs out into my body and moves out into my blood genetics into my chemistry parts. and then it come right out into the brightness of that as it was with Moses when he was so illuminated he had to slip the veil over him. That is over his face. That is to say, typical of Jesus, the human body slipped over God that we might be able to communicate with God through the Son of God, in that God cannot look upon iniquity if He broke forth all of us would be destroyed. The day that the blood comes off of the seat of atonement everyone will be destroyed. Everyone will be destroyed immediately. The process of destruction will set in. So then, we see from on the inside we're drawing out of the wells of salvation, and we're bringing this in our outer being. You know, God has saved us. And God has done without works on our part. It's strictly the grace of God, and the faith of Christ Jesus. Things that we don't merit, things that He gives us by grace of God, this angelic being is translated into the angel of Christ, which is eternal life, or the kingdom of God, but it still tabernacles in this human body. That is to say, we get salvation from God. We don't pay anything for it. It's strictly free. It's not merited of mankind, but there's one thing that God does require of us. When the spirit comes into our hearts, when the spirit comes into our life, when God's eternal life comes into our angelic being it is up to us to redeem the body. This is why I've made the statement a number of times, you've got to redeem the body, and if you're going to redeem the body there's going to be some works. That's why the Bible says faith without works is dead, and you see how that faith is made perfect by works. It's speaking of the human faith and not Christ's faith which needs no works by which we're sanctified. So then, we've got to do something. And that is we've got to apply our bodies to the desire of God as to a conformity of God, having the Knowledge of God, and letting this mind be in us of His understanding. We are coming in to the full measure of the full stature of the perfect man Christ Jesus, or that is, we are yielding our human forms to this glory that's on the inside of us, for the Bible said that's within us, that these things of the world being beggarly elements are not to be compared with the glory that's within us that is to be revealed and His coming as to the intent of out shining this noonday sun. So then, this glory on the inside, we have it from glory to glory. This glory on the inside, Christ in my heart is the hope of that transformating glory. When Christ appeared on the mountain between Moses and Elijah he appeared in glory. And we have a hope of that glory, but it's Christ our hope, because we have no ability to obtain unto it as to human beings because we've fallen to such a place it's not possible. But the thing is, through redemption we have Christ, and He is the hope of that glory. And by having Christ it brings that glory into us, and then we begin to transformate in the mind. Paul said be ye therefore transformed by the renewing of your mind, and we start the transformation of mind as from this human thought to God thought. From this human thought to God thought, like translating a book, or a Bible from one language to another. And we think on Him, and we think on Him, and we cast down imagination. We cast down our thoughts, and we lean not to our own understanding until eventually all of our thoughts are His thoughts, which means all of our spirit is His Spirit. All of our life, has transformated into His mind. And as a result of that, to an ultimatum in God. Our bodily genes begin to transfigure into His body. So then, we're bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh with royal blood flowing through our veins, and we find ourselves taking on our God ship to where we cannot die. Death is then at an end, and we cannot die. That's why Enoch cannot die, is because he was translated by faith. When a person is translated by faith they can't die. It's not possible from them to die, and this is why I say the church would is a rut today. They're going to have to come to one thing, and that is that man that is born of God cannot sin. He cannot sin. Someone would say, I don't believe that, Brother Pike. That's heresy.I don't believe that. I believe everybody sins. Well, that's what you believe, but I'm not talking about what you believe. I'm talking about what the Bible says. The Bible said that he that God sendeth will speak God's Word. I'm not talking about your doctrine, or your background, or something somebody is telling you, but I'm telling you what the Bible said, the Bible said he that is born of God he cannot sin. We've got to get this down in our heart. It doesn't say he may sin, or if he holds on he won't sin, or if he lives a good life he'll overcome sin. It doesn't say that at all. It says that because he is born of God he can't sin. He can never sin. That's why Daniel of old, in the prophecies of the seventy weeks when the angel appeared to him, speaking of the coming of the Messiah, I remind you of this again. That is why that he said, And he shall come and make and end of sin. I like that. Let's give Him a hand. Not us. Not of our works, lest we should boast, but it is the gift of God. The angel said, He shall come and, He shall make and end of sin. And Brothers and Sisters, when He went to Calvary He made and end of sin. That's why the blood is on the seat of atonement, and the Bible said that He shed His blood for the whole world. That's why God doesn't break forth on the world today and destroy the world because all God is looking at is the blood. But when the blood comes off of the seat of atonement, then God will break forth on the world and destroy the world, and the wrath of God will be upon the world and only you and I that have the Blood of Christ on the seat of atonement in our hearts shall continue to live for the life is in the blood, and if we have the Blood of Christ then we have the life of Christ, and that means eternal life. The life that I now live I live by the Son of God. I'm bone of his bone, and flesh of His flesh. It's not me living, Paul said, but it is the image of God. It is the God body. It is the members of the God body. So then, the church cannot be translated, though they are waiting for a Thessalonian change they will never make a Thessalonian change until they come into the knowledge of God because you must have the understanding of God to be translated into the kingdom of God. Now I'm telling you again. you say, Well, Brother Pike, it doesn't matter whether you understand it or not. God loves you. The preacher preaches it. All you've got to do is believe it. You should know better than that. You can't believe something that you don't understand. You can't believe something that you don't know about. How can you do that? That's not possible. you've got to understand. The Bible said the wicked shall not understand. If you don't understand that means you're wicked. For the Bible said, And the righteous shall understand. And the Bible said, With wisdom get understanding. that's what we have to have, is understanding. The understanding is what gives us, gives us the faith to be translated, or to be transformated, or to be transfigured that we should not see death. So, we have to have the knowledge of God. If the world is going to spend their time, you know, listening to songs and all kind of things our in the world, and go to frolics, and sports and all these other kinds of things and not take time to bring every thought under subjection to the obedience of the Word of God, not to take time to hear the Word of God, to understand the Word of God to become a person that's knowledgeable of the things of God, how in the name of reasoning to the ever expect to live. Why you might make it sixty years, seventy years. You're doing pretty good in the day that we're living if you go along fifty or sixty years. you know, and the God drops you in the hole and the worms have a feast. They have a banquet. You know, and you go down and they eat you up. But when you live for God, you live forever. You live forever. You've passed from death unto life, and you shall never come into condemnation. You'll never die, because you can't sin. The law of sin and death is folded up and laid away, and you cannot die. Like Enoch we're on this side of the law of sin and death. We're not like Moses and Elijah under the law of sin and death. We're over the law of sin and death. The Bible said, He that has fallen from grace is under the law of sin and death. And Paul said, I was alive without the law. When the Law came sin revived and I died. Enoch was alive so he was translated, because he got away before the law came, but the law caught Paul, as he said. That is it caught the people that was still in the world. But now we're on the other side. And Jesus has paid the price. Delivered for my offenses, raised again for my justification. Now I'm alive forevermore. There is no offenses from me to God. There is no judgment from God to me. There is nothing that God has against me. Not anything and nothing can pluck me out of His hand and nothing can separate me from the love of God. Oh, somebody said, Well, glory to God. God loves everybody, Brother Pike. That's what I like. That's the kind of preaching I like. That's what we need all over the world. Friend, let me tell you something. God doesn't love everybody. I'm telling you again. God doesn't love everybody. The Bible said God is angry with the wicked everyday. He doesn't have any pleasure in the death of the wicked. He'd rather that they'd repent and turn away from their sins, but if they choose to be wicked, he said, I will pursue you until you perish from off of the face of the earth. And He said. Beware ye that forget God lest I tear you into pieces. Somebody said, Well, I'm wicked, but I pray. He said, all of the prayers of the wicked are an abomination in My sight. This thing about being wicked and dabbling around in the world, doing the things of the world, And coming into some kind of something to where you still think God loves you, God doesn't love you. I tell you again. Can I take a shotgun and go around after somebody, and everybody I say, If I see him I'm going to blow His brains out. And Brother Taylor says, This man loves you. He's got his shotgun on his shoulder. He's looking for you. He's going to blow your brains out. But he loves you. Does that make any kind of sense. God said, I will pursue the wicked until they perish from off of the face of the earth. Beware ye that forget God lest I tear you into pieces. Somebody said, Oh, I give money to God. What does that mean. Just like Saul when he went out there and dishonored God, disobeyed the Word of God, and God said because you've rejected my Word, I've rejected you. Though you are a king I've still rejected you. I told you to kill those things out there that belonged to them. I don't want those people thinking that I'm a robber, I don't want them to think I come out there and took their nation, and took what they had just to make myself rich, and Saul, that's the way you've made it look. I told you to kill, do away with their treasures, let them know this is a visitation from God. I could care less about what they've got. You've reproached me. But see, Saul, he took that of the world. I'm going to give an offering, Samuel. I'll give a big offering. Samuel said, God doesn't want it. It's an abomination in His sight. Because you gave an offering to God, you gave a thousand dollars, you gave a few thousand dollars and you think that God received that. The Bible said it is an abomination in His sight, just like you prayers are an abomination in His sight and He don't want you. He don't need you. All that God is doing for you is through the blood of Jesus Christ. He said, I am angry with the wicked everyday. That's how he feels about the wicked. And I will pursue them until they perish from off of the face of the earth. He said they don't ever have any rest. They're like the troubled waters of the sea ever casting their mire upon the bank. You love the Lord? Let's give Him a hand. So then, to understand, to go the right way, to know the right things, to be able to believe the right way, and to translate in to life. We'd like to say a lot of things this morning, but I had quite a bit singing and I know some of you're wanting to get to lunch. So, we're going to stop. But remember one thing. The reason I stay with the Word of God, the reason I talk about the Word of God, the reason I love the Word of God is, I like to live. I like to live. I want to live. Jesus said, I am the Prince of Life, and I've come that you might have life and you might have it abundant, which means filled up and overflowing. My cup runneth over, David said. So then, I want life. I love life. I want to understand. I want to believe, and to have words that is a little package of life. That is to say, like scientists say, you can't see it. It's so minute. You can't see it. You'd have to magnify it into existence, but all around you is little packets of light. Little packets of light that makes up your environment. See, little packets of light. Every time that Word of God comes it's a little packet of light. That is, it is life. It is life and when I get that Word of God I take it and as Jesus said, Eat of my flesh and drink of my blood, or you'll have no life in you, for I am meat indeed. I am the bread of life. That manna that came down from heaven, your fathers died after eating it. But I am the bread. You eat of this you'll never die. You'll never die. Woman, I'll give you water that isn't from this well. So then, I like that Word of life. I take that Word of life. It comes down and I say. Oh, My, that's a sound. All I'm getting is vibrations. That's a sound. You know, but when that is transferred down into my angelic being, into my spirit, I say, Oooh! I feel good! I feel that going all through me. I'm illuminated. I'm activated with the power of God, and the life, and even to a verbal inspiration because I can feel it all over my human senses as to a sensation. Life. Life. Giving off light as it was with Moses. So then, that's why I love the Words of Life. These are living words. All right. Let's stand together. Just a little something along by the way that might help you. Something to feed on, to think on. It'll get bigger and it'll get greater because it's so wonderful. Let's sing a little chorus together. The Bible says. And He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Prince of Peace, Mighty God. Let's sing that little song. (Brother Pike leads in singing Wonderful.) Can you sing it with me? (Continues singing.) Give Him another hand. Somebody say, Hallelujah! All right, we're going to sing a song or two here, a little chorus or two. The alters are open. You're welcome to come. You're welcome to come. Someone came to me the other day, a sinner, never known anything about God, and they asked that I pray for them for a little some thing about their physical being, and as I prayed I prayed that God would break the yoke. Break the yoke. The anointing will break the yoke, and I prayed that God would break the yoke, all of a sudden I felt this person spirit just go out. You know, out to God, and I knew that they had received Christ. A lot of times that happens. We see the individual continue on just as they was. You know, we think nothing didn't happen, that nothing didn't happen, but all of a sudden a transformating of the mind sets in. Not knowing anything about God, you know, they just couldn't change over, but after awhile like a little baby, life, life in it's little tiny form and yet it can't do nothing. Just dependent on mommy, you know, and it's a little bit here, and a little bit over here like a little tiny bird, and then after awhile it'll flap it's wings a little bit, and the next thing you know it's done stuck it's head up out of the nest and after awhile it's soaring through the air. See, a little, little baby. Jesus said, Feed my lambs. So, a lot of times a person might be aged. A person might be middle aged, they might be aged, they might be old people. You know, that is; they might be young people, but you can't judge them like that. They might be fifty years old, and they might just be a little tiny baby on the inside, and you have to feed them. They are a little lamb of God. You have to feed them. Nourish them. Feed the little lambs. Care for the little lambs. Jesus always instructed the leaders. You know, We're great evangelist. We'll heal the sick, and we'll do that. And Jesus said that's great. That's wonderful, but don't rejoice of that. Because you can cast out devils and work miracles, don't go around rejoicing over that. He said, You just be thankful that you escaped that Lake of Fire. You be thankful that you have Eternal Life. That's what to rejoice about. You know, and he said, Feed my lambs. Consider the little ones. Don't just trample them. Like it was said when Jacob was coming back from across the Jordan and he met Esau, and Esau was wanting him to hurry on. He said, I can't over-drive the little ones. The little ones. Feed my lambs. Feed my sheep, but He said, Feed my lambs. All right. So then, we're going to sing a little chorus here, and you're welcome to come to the alter if you like. (Begin tape two side one.) Today is the day of salvation. Now is the accepted time. God is saying come. The Bride, the bridegroom, all saying come. Now is the time. You didn't have to wait. If you wait, if you procrastinate saying that it's not time it's because Satan has deceived you, for today is the day of salvation. Now is the accepted time. Let whosoever will come. Partake of these water of life freely. Can you sing with me? (Brother Pike leads in singing there Is Room At The Cross For you.) Can you sing it with me? (Sings, At the Cross.) Can you sing it again with me? (Continues singing.) Sings, Sweet Spirit Sweep Over my Soul, And I've Anchored My Soul In The Haven of Rest.) Can you sing it with me? (Continues singing.) Somebody say, Hallelujah! Don't you feel like you could run through a troop and leap over a wall? (Continues singing, and sings Gone.) Sing it with me. (Continues singing, Gone. ) Can you sing it one more time? (Continues singing, Gone.) While we're singing the alters are open. Why don't you just come down to the alter this morning? Everybody. Can you just come down to the alter and renew our covenant in God, and ask God to do something for us? We need the strength. The day's are getting darker and darker. We have need of the strength of God to be able to face the enemy and overcome. Why not come on down this morning. If you love Him say Amen. (Continues sing, Gone.) One more time and.......... (Continues singing.) you know you've got to admit you like that part about over death triumphant. Don't you like that? Could we sing that one more time, and while we're singing it think about that, now. If He said, I once was dead, but now he says. I'm alive forever more. And to think that you are bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh, and as He is so are ye in Him. Let's think about that now, can we? (Sing Gone again.) Do you believe that He made an end of sin? Do you really believe that? If you believe that He made an end of sin, your sin, let's sing it again. (Continues singing.) When we sing that and I look at you, I remember what Solomon said, And who can speak to so great a people seeing that ye are God and made to live forever, that you are Gods and you'll live on and on. How can, then, anybody earthly speak to you. Surely it must not be the minister speaking. It must be God speaking in that all shall be taught of God, and it shall not be him, that is the minister, but it shall be God speaking to you. (Brother Pike leads in singing, I'll Live On.) Let's sing this little chorus and we're going to let you go. Don't forget service tonight. If you've never given you heart to God now is the time to yield you heart to God. If you've never made the great commitment make it now. Paul said, I'm persuaded to believe that God is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that great day, and nothing can pluck us out of His hands. So, if you've never made the commitment now is the time to make it. Just before we sing this little chorus I want you to lift you hands with me. If you've never made a commitment unto God while you're standing here in the pressure of the Lord and you know that Christ is near by I want you to make that commitment, folks. The song writer said, I surrender. Lord, I surrender all. All to thee, Lord, I surrender. I surrender all. Wouldn't it be wonderful if throughout the world today everybody would surrender all. As Betty and I go into the foreign countries so many times, and as we go this time, our endeavor and desire will be toward God's kingdom. To establish His kingdom in the earth, and His will be done in the earth as it's done in heaven. Telling men that they should surrender, that they should surrender all. Paul said, Go on to a full reward. let's not dwarf ourself in the Word. You might be doing something for God, but let's go on to a full reward. Can we do that? While I pray you pray with me. While I believe you believe with me. The Bible says, and it shall come to Pass that whosoever calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I remember in the crusade that we had over in Atlanta, Georgia when we was having the meeting there at the wrestling, boxing arena, I remember one night how that the man that led the way for the wrestling, the man that owns the mask that has the franchise on it. I remember how he made his way to the alter, and his wife made her way to the alter. He's passed on. Passed on a year or so ago, but the made his way to the alter and we're still got some pictures that somebody took of the alter call and they've placed one of his, they've placed the audience on a tract as to a picture and I noticed that he's in there among them right out from with his hands lifted up to God. I'll tell you, if he really turned his heart over to God, Which it looked Like he did that night, if he went on with God he's a happy man today. While I pray for you let's give our hearts to God. Heavenly Father, I'm grateful for your blessing, knowing that all of the nations of the world are as nothing before you, heavenly Father. For we come humbly and sincerely, asking you to forgive our sins, And, Father, the audience that's standing here before us, may there not be a one, Father, but what they will surrender their heart to Thee. May they give their heart to thee. Heavenly Father. May the great heavenly Spirit be poured out upon us. I feel the Holy Ghost, Father. I feel your lovely Spirit, the Holy Spirit. Even as Peter spake to them, Father, you said the Holy Ghost fall upon them, and I feel The Holy Ghost falling upon these people right now. The great, wonderful stimulation of God. Holy Father, as this wonderful, wonderful Word of life, this Spirit penetrates, may it be accepted in the hearts, right down in the soul to clean to wash. May that soul go out to God, and God take up his abode within these hearts as we call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, Forgive our sins, heavenly Father. Accept us in Thy Word. Secure us. Fill us with Thy Spirit. Seal us by your great, wonderful Spirit, heavenly Father, that we might be filled with your love, and with a desire to do something to conform unto you. And, Lord as the Floyds sang this morning, that we may stand upright just like you. May everywhere we go, we stand upright just like you. And as the song Sister Dale sang, Lord, may we go on searching until we find the place where you stay. We're looking. We're searching. Help us. Help us, heavenly Father. Bless the people. Forgive their sins. Help them and heal their bodies, Master. Heal their bodies. Lead them and guide them in the wonderful name of Jesus. Let's sing this little chorus together and we're going to let you go. (Leads in singing, And Time shall be no more. Sing it with me, now. (Continues singing.) Can you sing it one more time? (Continues.) Just one more time with me. (Continues) Lift your hands up and Close your eyes, and sing it with me one more time. (Continues.) Somebody say, praise the Lord. Let's give Him a hand. While you close your eyes, lift your hands up. I want you to search your Hearts. Just search your hearts this morning. Lift your hands up, close your eyes. Search your hearts. See if you be in the faith. Examine yourselves. See if you be in the faith. I'm going to ask our Brother James from out of Macon, Georgia to come up hear and dismiss the service if he will. While Brother James is coming let's think on Jesus. Is there anything sweeter? Is there anything sweeter? Our brother from Jamaica, he use to come over to our camp meetings, and he was always singing that song. When you see me coming you know I've got him on my mind. I've got him on my mind. For when you see me coming I've got him on my mind. Come on, Brother.
