Projection Of Life

This morning they didn't use the lights but they were still filming. I just stepped out for a few minutes to step there in the video room to where I could see the little ones on T.V., on video. From up here I don't ever get to see them, you know, as they're singing unless I see it back on video. I just stepped out a few minutes just to kind of see what they were doing. I want to talk with you just a little bit. I don't know just exactly where we'll go in out thoughts, or what we'll say. There are so many things that I'd like to say to you, and from time to time we say some of them. And then there are so many of them I don't get to say and a lot of times I'm disappointed. It is very important that we say these things to you. It's important to the extent that if you are planning to go in the rapture, as they use the terms, or if your planning to go in the translation then you need to know these things. But there is something that is still, I can't say more important, and yet more important in a sense, and that is that you learn to love one another. Love is of God. I'm a minister and have been for quit a number of years. Like I said to my wife. We were talking, today I believe it was. I've been preaching for quit a number of years and of course I've never give out. I've never give out of anything to say, or to preach. To the contrary, as David said, my cup over flows. When you are a true minister of God you don't have to go try to figure out something, or study up something, or see if you can get a sermon together and all these king of things. When you are called of God you don't have to do that. You can do that, you know, if you want to. That's you business. You can write down your notes or whatever. I don't have any objections, but if you are called of God when you go to speak it's not you speaking but Him and He will always have something to say to His people. It will always be brand new. It will always be exciting. It will always have value as to meaning and as to benefit and not just a lot of words, you know. So as like I ask my wife today, I said, Well, Betty. I said, After all these many years of preaching do you have any thoughts about me not being called? She said. No! And I kind of, I don't kid her, you know, foolishness, not like that. Paul said, Bear with me a little bit in my folly. Sometimes I try to be pleasant with my wife, you know, because wives get upset and then they'll tell you what they think. And I was just going on at Betty and she said, I don't doubt your ministry. I said, Do you believe I was called to preach? She said, Definitely. I said, You just don't think I live right. And when she gets upset, you know, she tells me how she feels. No, Betty's a good wife, very good wife. She's got confidence that if I ain't doing right someday I will if she'll keep holding on. This is important, that a wife love her husband. And that the husband love the wife. And it's important that the minister loves the people. No one ever cared for you like Jesus. No one ever loved you like Jesus. No ever will love you like Jesus. Jesus was a man like I'm a man. He had feelings. He had infirmities. He had problems. He got hungry. He got tired. He got nervous. He had problems just like you and I. He had to look. He had to hear. He had to taste. He had to see, feel, whatever, but though He was a man; yet he loved with such great love, such great concern that there has never been an equality or never will be an equality of that kind of love. And though I love you and though I want to love you and I love all of humanity, and I'm concerned even about that that has been since the foundation of the world, but I can't do anything about it. They are gone, see? And all I can do is try to help them that are still here and them that are still coming. Whereas, maybe, and you wouldn't understand me and my praying, but I pray, you know, Lord, I say, Lord, help Pete. Lord, help Vince, Brother Taylor, Brother Jerry, I pray. And I pray for these that are here. I pray for my natural children, my wife, my brother, sisters, Betty's family, and I pray, I pray for you. I pray for the different ones, and I'm really concerned. I pray for all of the requests that come in, but I pray like this a lot of times. I don't just pray for the requests that are coming in that we have, that Betty leaves there for me to pray over, but I pray, O God, out in the future, whether tomorrow, or next week, or next year there will be someone that is sick, there will be a request that is coming in for a little child, there will be someone, Lord, that could die. So I pray ahead for this. I pray before they are ever born into the world. I pray for them that are in the world and all of them across the world and whether it be kings and dignitaries, or whatever, whether it be our enemies, or whatever, you know, I pray for them. I pray for the Russian people and the German people. I pray for the papacy of Rome, for those that are in the Catholic Church. The Bible said offer prayer for all men, and them that are in rule, them that are dignitaries, I pray for them. And I pray, Lord, remember these requests when they come in. Lord, remember them. Lord, do something about them. Whenever they come, whatever it might be, whether I'm here or not here, Lord, when these things happen throughout the world remember the people, help the people. Strengthen the people, stand with the people, save the people. Not only, Father, save these that are now in our generation, but if you tarry another generation, or if you tarry for x amount of years, Lord, for here on out to the end I pray for all of them that are to be born into the world that you would save them, that you would help them, that you would heal them, that you would guide them, that you would teach them that they might find a consolation and a help in that time and that age. So, it is important that you love the people, that you be concerned about the people and a lot of times we don't love the people like we ought to and we're not concerned about the people like we ought to be. We're not concerned about them. You know, you would pray like this, Lord, all of the future help the people. Then you think, O, my God! All of the past, if there's any such thing as helping the people that has been, Lord, help the people. But though you pray that way, still there's nothing that can be done except as He does it, or has done it, or whatever. You can't pray people out of hell. And you can't pray people out of what they call purgatory, because there is no such thing as a purgatory. So you try to pray, and pray according to godliness. But to really love the people means you'll fast for the people, means you'll pray for the people, whether day or night. Samuel said, God forbid that I should sin against God by not praying for the people. So you will pray for the people, at whatever time you'll pray for the people, you'll be concerned. And you'll try to do something for the people. And it's very important that you do that. All right, I want to read just a little bit here, just talk to you a little bit if you'll let me. In chapter 2 out of the book of St. Luke. (Reads verses 1-5.) Now when I read this, this ought to, as the world calls it, ring a bell with some of you, because you were over in Nazareth and you were over in Bethlehem, and you were over in Judea and these different places so you know where He was, you know where He had to go to, you know what the Lord is talking about. Some of you should understand this real well. It says, (Reads verses 6-20.) It goes on to tell of the purification, of the dedication of Simeon, the consolation of Israel that was revealed to him through Jesus, revealed unto by the Holy Ghost that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ. And he came into the temple, he saw the child, blessed the child, and he said, "Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace according to thy word for mine eyes have seen thy salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all people. A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel." And then it goes on to say that Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, came in and also made a fuss over the child and blessed the child. Then it said the child grew. "And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon him." Now some of you stayed right there at Jerusalem, there in the Palace Hotel. You saw Golgotha, you saw where He was crucified, some of you stayed right there in the Palace Hotel that was right there in Bethlehem. You stayed in Bethlehem and just behind the Palace Hotel was the Shepherds Field. You never did go down there. Betty and I have been to it. Down in the Shepherd's Field, it was right behind you, I pointed it out to you. You saw it. You looked at it. Right down there is a cave back under the hill like, and this was where they were at when this great thing took place. The Lord Jesus was born. See? The first thing that we need to remember is that the Lord Jesus was a human being. He was a human being just like I'm a human being and we've got to come to the acknowledgement that God, the great eternal Father, the eternal Spirit, He is the Heavenly Father, but that He did have a son. We don't need to go around trying to preach the Son of God away, and to preach that God didn't have a son. He had a human being son. God had a son. Somebody said concerning Jesus when He resurrected from the dead, said, A spirit. He said, No, not a spirit. Or he didn't use those terms, He said, Feel of me. A spirit hath not flesh and bones as you see me have. See? There is God, the Father. In the fourth chapter of John we're told that He is a spirit. That God, the eternal Heavenly Father, is a spirit. He is not flesh and bones. He is a spirit. His son is flesh and bones. He said, A spirit hath not flesh and bones as you see me have. I'm flesh and bones. See? We've got to believe that. We've got to accept that. If we don't accept that then we can never be saved, because without a human body, without spilt blood, without a human person there is no salvation, there is no redemption. So then, God, our Heavenly Father, had a son. The only begotten son of the Father, full of grace, and full of truth. There is a son of God; a beloved Son of God. Paul said, I therefore give praise to my Heavenly Father, and to his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. So then, we've got to recognize that to be able to understand that God, the eternal spirit, uses a human body. God uses human bodies. What else can God use? After all God can't use a barn. God can't use things that are not agile, that have no motion to them. God cannot use the beast, as to His perfectness, because He must have a human body. He has made a human body, made a brain, made eyes, and hearing and all of these things for the purpose of projecting life, or as a power of that which is a mediator between the tangible substance of life and the invisible world, as to the spirit and that which the spirit has created. So it is a middle realm. It is a physical world. A natural world, a physical world, an angelic or spiritual world, and that is the middle part. That's why that the dispute is over the body. I keep referring back to the dispute of the body, because I want you to thoroughly understand why there is a body, and why everything is out of control, and why this body is in the condition that it's in, and what the preaching is about and why Jesus came in a human body. Why did God make Himself a human body? There is a reason for it. So then, the dispute is over the body. And I explained a little bit this morning of how that God had so allowed a man and a woman and a child to be in the world so that He might show the body and the dispute of the body, and give a type and a shadow, some typical thing of the invisible God who we cannot see with our eyes. So then, we are tutored by coming into the understanding of the allegoric types that we see around us. Paul receiving a revelation was able to tell us there is allegoric types. If Paul had never come into a revelation we would never have known anything about allegoric types, because the Bible doesn't give it. But by coming into that, Paul said, Brethren, all of the invisible things from the creation of the world, that invisible world, those invisible angels, that invisible God, all of the invisible things from the creation of the world are clearly understood by the things which do appear. So then, God, who is an invisible God, has made an invisible world. Great and mighty things are in that world, joy unspeakable and full of glory. And God then took a handful of dust, He made a human body, and He began to raise Him up sons and daughters as to bring about something that could afford life, And He made a tangible creation out here so that this tangible substance could be there. And from that tangible dust He made a tangible being. And God in doing this has made a world, but God is not the prince of this world. Though God made this world he let Satan come in and take it over. Why did He do that? See? Why would God make such great mighty world and everything in the world, the ocean, the birds, the trees, the fish? Why would he make millions, and billions of species, and great and mighty things, and then turn it over into the hands of Lucifer? Why would he do that? Because God has an invisible world. God is an invisible God. God has a spiritual world, a greater plain of living, so far greater than this world. God has it. See? And God was trying to produce life, and project life, and then edify this people with life beyond, so that He could bring this people from a handful of dust into a transitional change that they might enter into an eternal world with eternal power and eternal splendor, and glory. And the only way that God could do that was to make another God. He had to make another world make another God. And that's what He did. He made another world and this world is an allegoric world of the great invisible power of riches. And when God made this world He made it as a reproduction of that world, and as it was in the days of Moses when he was given the blueprint, said, See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown thee in the mount. Whatever I've shown you in the spirit, Moses, go down there in the valley and make this in a typical form. Make all these things out of natural things like Noah did the ark and this will be the power of edification. This will be the things by which I indoctrinate and teach my people. So then, God is building a mind. God is building an understanding. God has built a world, and God has put a people in this world and it is an anti-people. That is, it is a type of the heavenly people. And God has put a God in this world, which is a type of the God that is in the world to come. When I say type; that is, Lucifer rules this world. He has his good times in this world. He does what he wants to in this world. He's the prince of this world, and that is typical of God for God is the great God of that invisible world. He is the power of that world. There is great joy and splendor and life and all of these wonderful things. And God has made this world, made this people, that He, as an invisible source, may reveal Himself to one another through the individuality of mankind. That is to say, God has projected Himself through human beings by allowing suffering, by allowing depression, by allowing the things as a faulty life so that God can project Himself even the greater to show you that He is a healer, that God is the potentiality of health or healing. That God is the power that provides for you, that God heals, binds up, that God is good, that God is always doing something good for you, and that all of these things as to the decaying side of life, and to the receding side of life, all of that is something that is not of God to the extent that God is projected through the weakness of these things that you might see Him in His great wonderful power. God made darkness to reveal light. I say this to you so often. Even scientists say that you cannot see light. There is no way ou can see light. So for God, who is the great light, to reveal Himself to your human intelligence, to me, then God has to make darkness and then God reveals Himself by darkness. All right, let's look. For instance, we've got the video light on up here. They're cutting down on the video light so it won't be so hot in here. There is a video light. Look at the light around here, but look where the shadows stop out here. Can you see the shadow? See, this light is revealed by the darkness. Do you understand what I'm saying? If there was no shadow out there I'd say, Hey, show me the light. You couldn't show me the light. There wouldn't be any light to show me. You could show me where the light is coming from, but you couldn't show me the light. i said, Give me a handful of it. You couldn't do that. See? So then the light is revealed by the darkness. God who is the great wisdom of all ages reveals His great understand, or ability, by the light, by the darkness of intellectual ignorance. By the darkness of the things of this world God is revealed. So then, gross darkness is covering the people. At the evening time great light has sprung up, and the Day Star is coming forth within your heart, which is Christ revealing Himself, or the revelation of Jesus Christ. So, when we understand this we know then that God uses human bodies. God works through human bodies. God has an anti-type world. And this world is only a type. All of the invisible things of God from the creation of the world are clearly understood by the allegoric types, the things that you see. I say this so many times to try to bring it to your remembrance to where you can differentiate. Paul, why did he look at two women and call one woman heavenly Jerusalem, and another woman Earthly Jerusalem. Why did he do that? How can a woman be Jerusalem? He was speaking of allegoric types. He said, which things are an allegory. And he likened these two women unto two nations, or people. How could he do that? Where did he get it? You know, I could say, Paul, you must be crazy. They did say he was crazy. I'd say, Paul, you must be beside yourself. Look. The Jews say, We know God. God is our God. What is this ignoramus? What is he talking about? Talking about two women being some kind of Jerusalem? What is he talking? He must be crazy. But see, Paul had a revelation. He knew that people represented things. He knew that trees represented things. He knew that all of the invisible things of God had an earthly tie as to representation, that if he could find out what it was he'd know what was in heaven. So he moved into the spirit of God, And the great mind of God for three years or more began to talk to Paul. Paul had studied for many years, and Paul had a mind of the knowledge of the Israelite way of life. He knew about the law, all the things of the law. Paul knew every bit of that. So then, knowing that God took him aside. And when God took him aside and began to revelate, all of these natural things that Paul had as a formulated understanding, began to yield fruit. And out of that came the answer of the invisible that was never there, and he began to say two and two, two and two, two and two. We have the little formula two and two. And then he said two and two, four, four, four. Where did he get four? Two and two. See? It come from somewhere, and so it wasn't there to start with, but it came from the formula. So then, God has expressed Himself. I read to you of the little scene of an angel. What was Jesus? He was God expressed in human form. He was the tabernacle of God, not in a measure as you or I or someone else might be, but He was God personified in His fullness. He was the fullness of God. That is, through that one human being, God, who fills all of eternity rules and reigns, and speaks through that human person. God, all of God, from everlasting to everlasting. Every move He makes is through that human body. There is no way I can get to the great eternal spirit of life except through that human body. There is no way that you can get to it except through that human body. So then, it takes God, the eternal spirit, working through the person of Jesus Christ, His Son, to be able to touch base with me, as we use the terms in the world. So then, I can't get to God without the human body and God can't get to me without the human body. That's the only door between heaven and earth. That is the door between heaven and earth. Being made a human form He took the human side of it and fixed it just exactly like it ought to be, which would take me hours to explain in detail, and then went into the spirit, and on the angelic side of it fixed it just right that we could come from this earthly dimension into the heavenly dimension by the way of the door, going through the spirit we go into heaven. So we see this thing, this body being born, the dispute over the body. See? This body is being born. This body is coming into the world. What is it? God using human beings. God making a body. You know, I am a minister of the gospel. God is using my body. Brother Branham was a minister, God used his body. Numbers of other great men, like Paul and Peter and John and Elijah, they're great (Begin tape one side two.)...use their body. He reaches out and if he can get a body, he pulls it in. He uses the body. Like a vision I had. I had a vision. I look and there was a busy street and people were going down this busy street and it looked like little hands running along. And then I'd see a head just with two tiny little old feet or legs running along, you know. And it was just a bunch of freaks. I look out there and I thought, My what a horrible, hideous sight, and then I saw a big hand that went out like this and it got a bunch of those and it pulled it right over to where I was and turned them into whole, solid, great, human beings that stood there in full stature. And I thought, My God! What has he done. See? But I saw it. As I went into the ministry I began to realize that the great hand of God had gone out there and got some of you, and brought you in when you were nothing but freaks. And God has made sons of God out of you, and He's made great people out of you and today you stand as great powers, memorial powers, men and women that are whole, when you were just a freakish thing in the world out there. Just a lying vanity as we say. So then, God uses human being. Now then, God is using you. He made you to use. Maybe it's a little measure, maybe it's a great measure, maybe it's a great thing, whatever it might be God is using you. See? God is trying to use you. God wants to project Himself through you. The life wants to project itself through you. The water, that is the sap that comes out of the ground, it projects itself. It is a form of life. It must project itself. It projects itself through a little rosebud, or through a little flower, some kind of buttercup. or maybe a little honeysuckle. or maybe it might be a sweet shrub. God. See? Life projecting itself, whether it be a little bird, as to the measure of a bird, through a corn stalk, or maybe it be through a human being. God! Life projecting itself! So then, life must project itself. And to project itself it must have a human being. For it to bring itself to a full ultimatum, or bring itself to a finished product, as we say, it must have a human being. And I've said this a number of times; when Lucifer got into a man he thought that he had the highest form of life. And he did naturally speaking. He got into that. He was driven out of the world of light, which means understanding, becomes the prince of darkness, which means ignorance. And in that he tried to get back into the light, into the wisdom, into the understanding. He found the woman and she was weak, so he saw that that was life so he got into the woman. But the woman wasn't the highest form of life, because she was under the rule of man. So then, he knew he had to get into a man. So he worked through Eve to get hold of Adam. Today he's in a man, and to him that is the highest form of life. He thought he had the highest form of life, but see, God caused Adam to fall from him sonship, and God took away his sonship so that Satan could not get into that great state of sonship. See, the highest form of life is sons of God. That's sonship. Satan has never gotten into them, and he never will get into them. So the highest form of life he has found is the woman, which means the flesh. He has gotten into the flesh. That's the highest form of life he can find, is the woman. He cannot get into the sonship. He tried everything he knew to get into Adam, but Adam lost that image. And then when that image came at Calvary he did everything he could to deceive the Lord Jesus to get into the Lord Jesus, but the Lord Jesus made the statement: The prince of this world cometh, but he hath no part in me. He never did get into the Son of God. So he was the beginning of the creation of God, and from this there the first brother or many brothers, and from this comes brethren and we are the brethren. We are sons of God. And he never touches us at anytime. We keep ourselves through that atonement, which is the Son of God, who kept Himself for us and Satan cannot get past that blood to get to the children. So then, God wants to use a human body. I'm a minister. God has used this human body. God has used this human body for numbers of years. Now then, God wants to continue to use this human body, because the further that we go the more that we know, and the more valuable we become to God. So He wants to continue to use that human body and bring forth many other children, many other people. He wants us to bring them forth, let them be born into the kingdom of God to multiply, replenish the earth, and go on with this great thing, and process them until they move on toward the ancient of days to get to great understanding, to come into great knowledge and great power that they might be great angelic beings out yonder in the world to come, as we call it. So then, we see that God is using human bodies. He's used my human body. You know, you should think of it like this: If God is using Brother Pike, he's using my human body, then let us get everything we can from God while He's using that body, because one day He might not use the body of Brother Pike. He might lay this body down to rest. He might move in another body. He's moving in many bodies. It depends on how much time there is left, but right now He's moving in this body. And He's moving in your body. He's moving in this generation. So let us get everything we can from that body while God is using that body. See? It's like this. Marriage comes and the woman uses the man, because she's made for reproduction. So she's after that man to get every bit of the life out of him for reproduction. She has a desire for him. God has put a desire there so that she can get every bit of the life out of him to reproduce. God has made it like that, and so the little ones are born into the world. When the man is no more reproductive she looses interest in him. See, because the desire is not there. As she gets older then she doesn't reproduce, as it was with Abraham and Sarah. See, like the little bee. The little bee he wants to get the pollen. He goes to the little rosebud. He goes over to the little flower and he's after the honey. He's trying to get the honey out of there. See, once he gets the honey out of there he could care less, as we say, for the rosebud. He doesn't care anything about a flower. The little old flower is going to wither up. He wanted that life on the inside of it. He wanted to get that that makes the honey. See, that's what the fallen angels are after, and that's what the heavenly angels are after. We put forth our faces like little poppies, and those angels come around to minister to us, and to minister to God, to go to and fro between us. And the fallen angels that are cut off from the light that are out in the world of darkness, they are looking for a human body to get into. See? They are looking to get into that human body to get that life out of it. Once they get that life out of it they could care less for that body. Like I made a statement up there talking to some of them a little earlier. See? You see somebody going down the street, after awhile they begin to get old. They begin to wrinkle up. They begin to look like a prune. They begin to dry up. All of the life begins to leave the body. Do you understand what I'm saying? Naturally speaking the life is going to leave your body. All of that life is going to leave your body because those little bees, as we say, are out there somewhere and they're taking that life out of you. Jesus said when the woman came by, said, Virtue went out of my body. That woman's angelic being got the virtue out of his body. See? Angelic beings, whether good or bad, they're using your body. They're using it up. They're getting, if it be angelic beings from God that's ministering for you and to you, they're storing it within the kingdom of God. They're taking it to their queen bee. They're going to the church with it. They're putting it in the hive. They're pulling it out of there. See, because the body is going to wither up. The apple comes, and when it comes then the different things start on it to get that life that's in that ripened apple. See? And they are there to get it, because it's going to wither up one day. So you see, a woman going down the street, you know, a man going down the street, you know, you say, like one devil says to another devil, Hey, here's a human body over here, and like I used the terms over there, another one will say, Why that old hag, I wouldn't have her. See? She's all withered up. All the life has gone out. So what happens is, they are looking for a young plump looking person that's filled with life and lust. See? Filled with life. Just like the ripe apple, you wouldn't go by and find an apple all withered up. You want the juice. You want the richness out of that apple. You want one that's just right. See? Those devils and demons, they work through human bodies. Like the Bible speaks of the fallen sons of God, whereas, the Bible says, And the sons of God took to themselves the daughters of men. We say sons of God, why? Adam came from God. He was a son of God. Daughters of men, why? Because the woman come from a man. So then, they married them. They went in unto them, or whatever, and there were great men of renown that were born. A lot of great men were born from the human relationship of those people back there. Men like Moses, men like Noah, great mighty men. Devils and demons desire to take a human body that they may mate together with male and female. Those devils, those fallen angels, see? They are cut off from the inspiration of life and there is no life. They can't get to life, and the only inspiration of life they have is to get into a human body. That's why we have a sinful and an adulterous generation. Those people are taken with devils and demons, and they are working like maggots in a dead dog. These things are working. They are taking the virtue. They're taking the life. They're wrecking humanity. They are bringing spots and blemishes that will cause rot and deterioration, trying to strike the heart, and in doing this the whole world will be gone, because where there is no virtue God cannot come. So the devil has done this. Now let me say it like this: We say, Here is a great potentiality of life. Here is a human body, a great potentiality of life. But let me illustrate, as I did a little earlier today. If you have a body, you have a great potentiality of life. Let's put it to the test to find out how great. You say, Let's eat, let's drink, let's get the beer, let's go out in the boat, let's frolic, let's live it up. Life! The world and the fullness thereof, the sky is the limit! But let's look at it. When you really examine it, say the there is a person here that is a potentiality of life, filled with life, healthy, everything well, so I say, Go put his eyes out. So they put his eyes out. Is he dead? No. Does he still have life? Yes. Is he a great potentiality of life? To some degree. That is, he is not the potentiality of life that he one time was, because he cannot have the joy seeing. The lust of sight, the desire of sight, but he still has that sound of hearing. Beautiful chimes and music. He still has that rich taste of the ice cream, or of eating. He still has that feel, that touch, that human relation, or whatever it might be between the two. See? He's not dead. He's still much alive, but I say, Put out his hearing. Then he doesn't have the potentiality of life he had. Then I say, Do away with his taste. He doesn't have the potentiality that he had, but he still has that feel, he still has that smell. See? So I say, Do away with the smell. So he can't smell, but he still has that touch. See? That thrill of human relation, or whatever. Then I say, Now does he have life? He has life. But see? We say, Thirty-fold, sixty-fold, a hundred-fold. I say, Come on, folks. Let's go on to the full measure of the full stature, let's go on to the full reward of life. Let's not be, you know, in this kind of condition that we can't have the fullness of that light of God, and that blessing of God. See? Let's not be partial in this blessing. Let's go on to the full measure. So then, we say, Do away with the feeling. When we do away with the feeling he is dead. He is dead. The body without the spirit is dead. So we say, Where is life? Is that all there is to life, just them human senses, just five senses? It is a true fact that God, the great invisible spirit of life projects itself through a human body, through those five senses, and God, the invisible God that's made a great tangible creation that's around us, of the water, the stars, whatever it might be, the fruits, all of these things, God, the great spirit cannot get to those things and be partakers of this great wonderful act of creation, as to the inspiration of what He has done unless He has a human body. If He has a human body He can be touched by the feelings of your infirmities, feelings of human senses. I hear by feeling. I taste by feeling. I touch by feeling. So then, it is all feeling, we say. And God, to feel my infirmities I have to have those human senses and be alive in the body. For God to enjoy my drinking and my eating, and those kind of things, it's like a father or a mother looking after a child. You give him the bicycle and then you set back and your cup just runs over as you see him peddle that bike and have himself a time in the little red wagon. So then, God, the only way that God can enjoy His creation, the only way that God can enjoy the tangible powers of matter that's around us, it must be through a human body, or through the human senses. That is why there is such a great dispute in the spiritual world over the body. There is no contact with the act of creation if there is no human body. And the devil who is cut out from life, cut off from life, can't get near life. The only hope of life that he has, which is God, is to be able to get into a human being, to get into a human heart. And then he is back in the presence of the great spirit of life, and for the period of time that the blood is on the seat of atonement he can take full advantage of the human senses and he can just have himself a frolic, whether it's through human relations of whether it's through eating or drinking, or whatever it might be, he's having himself a time. Devils and demons working through the human body. And the human body today is being used up. The parasite is using it up. As I say to you again, your spirit is a little lower that the angels. It doesn't require much inspiration. See? Do you understand what I say? You take a little dwarf over here, he's got him a little bit to eat. Now, it doesn't take very much. It may last him a year. But you take some big old fat man that weighs 500 pounds and he goes over there and he takes a few little bites, and gulp! All that the little dwarf's got is gone. So see? We are little folks. We don't take much inspiration for us. You know, walk by and eat an apple, we eat an apple, you know, and we just grin and we feel so good. We drink a coke, or a milk shake and we feel so good, and then here comes that big old 500 pounder over there. He's got to eat a sack of apples. I eat a bite of chicken, he has to eat a half a dozen chickens. I've know of them where they bring five, six loaves of bread. He eats all of it, you know, at one meal. So the demons, these spirits, these fallen angels, they can't just be satisfied with human relations on marriage basis as to reproduction and it's joy and satisfaction of the human home where they can be in joy and have their little families and be together. They can't do that. They've got to have concubines, and they've got to have numbers of wives, seven wives, and five wives, and they can't be satisfied on a little income of two or three hundred dollars. They've got to have five hundred dollars, and a thousand dollars, and fifteen hundred dollars, and they've got to have more money, and more money, and they work you to death. They work you to death. See? They work your mind. They work your body. They use your body up as to the potentiality of your body. Whether it's as to reproduction, or whether it's to making money, or that is, to your energy, you strength, whatever. It uses the eyes up gazing at television. Got to watch and watch and watch and stare and watch. Greedy dogs that don't never get enough for nothing. One car and two cars, and then a truck, and a car, and got to have this, and got to have that. You know, it's a devil. It's a demon. It's an evil spirit that's oppressing your mind and your body and your soul, and causing you to eat yourself to death, or causing human relation until cancer just comes out. Your body rots until your nerve system is gone. Your brain deteriorates, whatever, see? It is devils and it is demons that is filling the human body. So this is where you're at today. That is why there is such a great time of sickness. You have a knowledge of these things, and where knowledge of these things are it is required. But see? If Brother Taylor comes and says, Brother Pike, you've got to stop eating so much. But I say, Bless Pat, give me another pie. He says, But, Brother Pike, you already weigh three hundred pounds. I say, Man don't bother me, give me another pie. It's like a brother that came down here that got to weigh a few hundred pounds, and he said_ He finally_ They operated on him, and tied up some tubes and he lost weight, but he told me, he said, Brother Pike, when I was like that, said, I could get near a candy counter and I saw all that candy, said, I could barely restrain myself from breaking the case and reaching in there and grabbing that candy. You know, people get into that kind of condition. You can't tell them anything. You say, Don't do that. They say, Well, I've got a problem. It's my adrenal glands. Say, I've got a problem. It's not what I eat. It's not what I drink. Say, It's just one of them things, every thing turns to fat. But, folks, let's be realistic. There can't nothing turn to fat if you don't put nothing in there. So then, the problem us an eating problem. It's a devil problem. It is an habitual eating problem. We eat ourselves to death. We drink ourselves to death. We do these things, we frolic, we won't sleep. We don't have no kind of system for sleeping. We want to stay up all night long and the first news you know our eyes are going out on us. See? You understand what I'm saying? So then, there is a dispute over the human body. We have to get the wisdom of God, the understanding of God, the way of God. Jesus was our example. We have to learn to conduct ourselves like Jesus did. Though we may sacrifice our body to the extent that we're willing to give our all unto God, and to give ourselves in sleepless nights, as to prayer, or to fast and do without food. That's fine because you are sacrificing yourself for God. You've got a refurbishing coming. You've got a reinstating coming. But, Brethren, let me tell you something. Just to get out here and use your life up for the flesh, you don't have nothing coming. You're going to wind up with a belly full of cancer, and you're going to wind up with sorrows and heartaches. You're going to wind up in such a condition that you'd give anything that you could get your hands on if you could just get a peaceful moment. And you're going to go to hell for violating the laws of temperance, in violating the laws of God. You let devils come in and you give place to devils when the Bible said not to give place to devils. And in doing these things and in violating the moderation of life, whatever. Whatever perspective it might be in you violate it and in doing it you're going to become an habitual violator of God's laws, and devils and demons are going to eat you up. All right. Let me say a few more things and we're try to close. I can't ever hardly get started up here I have so many things I need to say. So then, here is a human body. This body is called Jesus. God at different times in the past spoke to the people by the prophets, moving on them, but today we're not aa it was with the Jews or with Adam. We're not as the world with the Shekinah glory over them to the extent of the mercy seat, or the blood of atonement. But we are born of this wonderful spirit, and this life is on the inside of us. God is using human bodies. And Paul said, I travailed until Christ be formed within you. So then, we are human bodies with this treasure, heavenly treasure within our earthen vessel, to grow in the grace and knowledge and to come to the full measure of the full stature of the perfect man Christ Jesus. We have this life within us. Satan can't take it away from us. We've come past Calvary and we're over here. We're born of this life and God, on the inside of you according to your measure, or whatever you'll submit unto Him, He wants to use you. He would like to use man or woman, boy or girl. He would like to use you, but you've got to submit to it. And let me say this, folks. Where our problem comes in, there is that one brain and there is the two extremes of the God mind or the God Spirit, the God life, and the Lucifer spirit, or the Lucifer mind, or the Lucifer life. And those two powers are struggling one against another to get control of your spirit that they can project themselves through your spirit, or your understanding, to control your brain, to have control of the body and to live it up through the human senses. See? These two powers are working to get control. God to live it up in you as peace and joy and happiness and giving you abundance of life. And Satan to live it up in you as to frolic, sapping all of the life of God through you as from the day of grace as to the end of the day of atonement and hoping to over throw God before that blood comes off of the seat of atonement, hoping to overthrow God's kingdom by setting up something in the world as his own kingdom through his own government and having control over all humanity. As long as he can suppress the church and keep the church from coming into perfection, as long as he can stand between the church and God he can keep this world under his control. If the church ever goes out, the day that Lot went out of Sodom and Gomorrah fire and brimstone came down. As long as the church is in this world God can't destroy it. As long as God don't get His children out of here then God can't do anything with the tares without hurting the wheat. So then, God is in a complex situation until you turn to the Lord, and every elect seed turns to Christ. Everyone must turn to God and to draw close to God that God may pull us out from them, and come out from among the world that God may put us in a secluded place like He did those down in Egypt. When He had this certain place over here He hid the children of Israel and He brought His judgment upon the earth. He's wanting to seal us off. So then, they are working to get control of the brain, and you can learn. You can walk so close to God that you tell the difference and differentiate between the spirit of man and the Spirit of God, and the spirit of Lucifer. And you can discern and can tell peoples thoughts. You can tell what's in their life. You can tell what's going on. All these things you can come to by understanding these minds, but you've got to understand these minds. So, this is man's problem. We, instead of walking with Christ, abstaining from the lust of the flesh, giving our spirit to God, becoming one with God, letting God completely possess us and control us with the abundance of living, as in this world and the world to come, protecting us. We lean over here awhile, and we get to fellowshipping this mind over here, and something keeps talking to us, and something says, Ah, make a dollar. Come on, let's do this little thing. There ain't much wrong with this. Ah, that don't matter. You know, God is good. There's plenty of grace. You've got plenty of time, and after all it ain't like he said it was anyway. So, we find ourselves. We're at ease over here leaning to our own understanding, getting over here in the powers of Lucifer, getting over here on his ground, and then like that (claps hands), he smites us. Over here we take cancer, some disease happens. Another dirty devil comes in, you know. And something gets into the blood stream and trouble and heartaches start. And we begin to be eat us with some kind of disease, or have a pain in the heart, because we get over here, our spirit gets into this to Lucifer, when if we'd just left him alone altogether, got the mind of Christ, moved over here with the Word, stayed with what the minister told us. Stayed with the Word of God, stayed with the understanding of God, grew stronger and more powerful, until the devil can't even get near us. And the Bible said not to let him reign or rule in your mortal body, Put him out, get him away from your blood genes, don't let him come there. But somebody said, But, I'm tired, Brother Pike. I'm hungry, Brother Pike. I want these conveniences, Brother Pike. I want something for myself, Brother Pike. I want to think like I want to think. I'd rather toy around with this little old trinket over here, this diamond over here, this jewel over here, this watch over here, this car over here. I'd rather buy some land and have me some cattle, and ride a horse over here, build me a house over here, and fish in the lake over here, and go boating out over yonder. I'd rather get some little old musical instrument over here. I'd rather be something in the world. I'd rather have me a career. I'd rather be a celebrity. I'd rather be a senator. I'd rather be a president. I'd rather be an entertainer. I'd rather be some kind of dignitary. So off we go to the world. But folks, let me tell you something. All of those things, even those natural things of the offices of the dignitaries are only typical of the sons of God. All of the things of the world are only typical of the great mighty things that God has for us of what we are in that spiritual world through the transformating of the mind, and being His sons and daughters in that world. And all of the other is but junk. And the more that you mess with it, the more entangled with the yoke of bondage you're going to be, and the more that the mind of Lucifer is going to get your mind to the gullible desires of the world in that the Bible said if the love of the world is in you the love of the Father is not there. And the first news you know you are going to be bound hand and feet and entangled again with the yoke of bondage, and loose you liberty as to your birthright in God. And then, though you may seek it with bitter tears you're not going to find any place of repentance. Once it's gone it's gone. Keep messing with the world and the prestige of the world, and the monetary values of the world and the feelings of the human senses and you are going to find out that you are bound hand and feet. Everyone that comes to this supper that's invited to the supper of the great Word of the lamb of God, as to the feeding of His body, as to the drinking of His blood, though you be invited, though there is a day of grace, though revival is throughout the world, and religion and churches and whatever it might be, they all are not getting in. Many of them are coming and being bound hand and feet with devils and demons, because the more they come to the understanding of God, the more is required of them, and the less they do and the more the devil has power over them. So the people are now coming into a bondage, and devils and demons are binding them hand and feet and taking them into that intellectual darkness of that gullible desire of the world in the place of don't care, in the world of doing their own thing, of being hippies or whatever they want to be. Some are bound with money, some are bound with all kind of things, but there is the elect of God that is by-passing all of this, listening, having an ear to hear. Trying to be holy, trying to bring the body under subjection that they might be sons and daughters of God, and receive this body as an eternal inheritance forever. So that's the way it is. Angels don't have bodies so they use your body. You are an angelic being on the inside that does have a body, but you loose it to devils. If you possess your being according to the moderation of God and the laws of God then you receive the body as a gift forever. And you as an angelic being living on the inside of a tabernacle can enjoy the tangible creation throughout eternity in it's Celestial state, and God's Celestial regime in that all has been redeemed and reserved for you, because from the very beginning of the world it was made for that purpose that it might become eternal and Celestial, and that you may become eternal and Celestial, and that that world, as we say, to come, maybe your world, while the world moving up to that time will perish altogether. All right, let's stand together. There are lots of things I'd like to say to you. I just say so much to you. That's as far as you can go, and I can always tell just how far as you can go, and that's as far as you can go. So then, think on these things that I say to you from time to time. You just get a little bit here and a little bit there, but hold on to it because it's heavenly treasure. Put it in your earthen vessels. It would be so wonderful if we hungered and thirsted to where we would not be after the vain jinglings of the world, and the things of the world, but had our mind on heaven and the glorious things of God to where we could just move and move on in our study and our desire, our tutoring, our hunger and thirst until we come to the full measure of the full stature to a full reward. It would be so wonderful. But we feed a little bit today, and we feed a little bit tomorrow, and we keep just kind of easing along getting another bite and another bite. And after awhile we have a little more, and we have a little more, and some drop out of school, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, some finally goes on to a diplomacy. Then they are about the Father's business, but it's just one of those things. Some people will never be able to get what other people will be able to get. I mean let's face it. Some people in this life have millions of dollars, some people have billions of dollars. Some people are great and mighty as to their wealth, some are very poor. It depends on their efforts. It depends on their desire. It depends on their sacrifice. One man will lazy around under a air-condition, get up at nine o'clock in the morning and he'll make a few pennies, and another man diligently will get up in the early morning, go out and work, work all day long, work hard, work late, and come in, and at the end of the week put extra money into the back and soon have great riches. So it just depends. In the spiritual world, as to whatever you want to do, whatever your sacrifice and effort is, how much you want to hunger and thirst. All right. Let's sing together. (Leads in singing I Love Him.) I want God to use this body. And I made it my business to be jealous over my thoughts with a Godly jealousy to try to keep my thoughts from anybody, or anything except Jesus to where the more He can project Himself through my body, to use my body to the full extent to the full measure until He uses it up completely in this world. I want God to do that so I seek and search and hunger and thirst after God. So if you want God to use your body you're going to have to make a surrender. You're going to have to make a surrender. We use the terms in the song, I surrender, Lord. I surrender all. All to Thee, Lord, I surrender. I surrender all. You're going to have to surrender that little thing on the side of gossiping, and back-biting and finding fault. You're going to have to surrender that little reservation of heart to do your own thing and to be critical, or to watch things non-virtuous on the side, as to T.V. newspapers, books, whatever. You're going to have to surrender that position in life to have that little business on the side and make you x amount of dollars. Then you're going to have to turn that over into the hands of God to feed the hungry and the poor, and to make your life a ministry for Christ. And make your business a ministry for Christ. You're going to have to surrender that little nest egg that you've got back there, or that that's reserved for the hard day, or that little thing that you've appropriated on the side over here for your convenience. We say, your four and no more. You're going to have to surrender your ideas and ambitions, and all that you think of you, and think more of your neighbor and think more of Him. You're going to have to surrender all of those things that you're holding in reserve back there. You're going to have to surrender that little thing where the wife cheats a little bit in her mind on the husband and the husband cheats a little bit in the mind on the wife. And where you cheat a little bit on God and you want a little worldliness, and you want a little of this and a little of that. You're going to have to surrender that if you have the full measure of the full stature. For everyone that be perfect shall be as his master. I would certainly love to detail some things as to being the bride. I hear people, especially people that belong to the Brother Branham following, or they say that they belong to it. I hear them talking about the bride, and I think, Why you're no ways near being the bride of Christ. You're no ways near being in line to be the bride. Just being a Brother Branham follower doesn't make you the bride. Having Brother Branham's books and reading Brother Branham's book that doesn't make you the bride any more than it would make me the bride if I keep this book and read this book, or you keep this book and you read this book. That doesn't make you a Christian. Lot of people can quote it. That doesn't make you anything. See? Being a bride is far more than that, folks. My bride is one with me. If she isn't one with me then she's not my bride. You say, Now, Brother Pike, you mean if Sister Betty isn't one with you she isn't yours? If she's no one with me, she's not mine. She may be thus and thus with me as to a certain measure, so is she my bride to a certain measure. That is, she relates to me as to the certain measure because I'm married unto her. See? God said, I'm married unto the backslider, but as to the bride of Christ, to be one with Him is to be perfect. To be one with Him is to go on to the full reward. So, when you are talking about being the bride of Christ that's one thing. When you're talking about being the children of Christ, that's another thing altogether. All right. Let's sing again, can we? (Sings Gone.) One more time. (Continues singing) The altars are empty. You have a chance to come down to the altar while we sing another chorus or two. If you'd like to come to the altar you may. Do you love the Lord? Let's sing this little chorus together. (Sings To Be Like Jesus and When the Bridegroom comes.) Can you sing it again? (Continues singing.) Sing it one more time. (Continues singing.) Can you sing it one more time with me, folks? (Continues singing.) I want you to lift your hands up with me, will you? Let's close our eyes. Another weekend is beginning to fall into the past. Where is the past? Nobody knows. You can't find it. It's beginning to fall into yesterday, and again we ask the question, Where is yesterday? Nobody has ever been able to find it. Only the good Lord, only the good Lord knows where yesterday is. Only the good Lord, knows where the past is, and only the good Lord knows where the future is. So, folks, let's face it. As a human being you and I don't have nothing. I mean we don't have anything. The sunset, the sun is about gone for today. It's already dropped behind the horizon. This day is gone. Can't find yesterday and don't know where tomorrow is. So, all we've got left, what have we got left. Just wherever are, when ever you are, how ever you are, that's what you are, and that's all you've got. Because there ain't no tomorrow and yesterday. Somebody says, Well, I'll be here tomorrow. Well, I say again, little difference in the sunset, little difference in the sun rise, a little difference in the sun travel, and you'll just be what you are. You'll still be standing there, a little nearer to the grave, because of time. There's a time to be born and there's a time to die. You'll be a little nearer to the grave, but in that death is the enemy of God, and God has no pleasure in death, then that means that we can do away with time, then death hath no occasion anymore, because there has to be a time for you to die. If there is no time then there is no more death. Death is swallowed up in victory. So are we waiting for death. No. We're waiting for a change. We all shall be changed. Is God then waiting for a certain time to to come back? No, God isn't waiting for a certain time, because with God there is no time. God is waiting for you to get ready, to get ready, so that He can eradicate time. By Calvary He's done away with time. If we can move into eternity by faith, get away from time we'll be like Enoch. We don't have to die. Enoch just kept on believing, was translated, went away that he should not see death. Elijah slipped away. Moses slipped away. So then, we're standing here tonight, creatures of circumstances, gravitationally bound by the earthly things, and yet we can have freedom. We do have freedom through Christ. And our gift is eternal life, for the gift of God is eternal life. To keep on living. You're living. Your names are in the lamb's book of life. Why blot your name out of the land of the living? If you live then are you in the book of life. Someone would say, Nay, Brother Pike. But if this be so then all of those people that are sinners out yonder, they live, then are their names in the lamb's book of life. No. Jesus said they that live in sin and trespasses, they are dead, so their names are not in the lamb's book of life. But ye are the predestinated. Ye are that of the living. Will God then blot your name out of the Book of Life? No. Ye live. Even in your temporal life it only converts over into an eternal extended way of life. Just keep on living. He isn't going to blot your name out of life. You live. You live. Just keep on living, Jesus said. I've come that you might continue your life to have your life. And I want you to have it more abundantly, filled up and overflowing. That's why I come, so that you wouldn't be cut off from life. So, let's keep on living. Let's just keep on living. And let's just get more alive and more alive, and more filled up with life, and more exuberant, and more abundance in living, and keep on living and keep on living, and keep on living. We're going to lift our hands up, close our eyes, and we're going to sing that little song that we sing, Time Shall Be No More. (Sings Time Shall Be NO More.) Sing it again. (Continues singing.) While your hands are up and your eyes are closed. Time shall be no more and time shall be no more. The angel shall stand on the land and the sea, and time shall be no more. While we're standing together tonight thinking about this let's realize what God is telling us, and what God is trying to do to us, and what this wonderful understanding of God means. Words of life. Words of life. How that you're going to benefit from this great marvelous thing when all of the world, religious world, around you is perishing. Just like they are in the things of Jim Bakker and the others, while all of the religious world around you is perishing, all of a sudden this wonderful understanding and knowledge and inspiration of your faith, will begin to come to life, and you'll say, Oh, my God! I know what our Brother was saying. I know now. I know now. All right. While we're standing here together I'm going to ask Brother Richard, the Jew, to come up and dismiss us. And while Richard is coming think on the services, think on Little Bethlehem. Remember the House of God, remember the printing, remember the projection of the Gospel, and this wonderful knowledge that you have as it goes into all the world for a witness that the end may then come. When the Gospel has been published into all the world for a witness then shall the end come. And we're on the verge of that now, Brothers and Sister. So then, let's think on that as our Brother Richard comes to pray.
