Evil Thoughts

We're going to change the order of the service a little bit. Well, the Lord apparently was, of course, my brother said that "He said" in the vision. I understood that Junior didn't interpret that as the church, said: the voice said that it was the church. And I remember in the Bible, God spoke of a man's wife, Abraham, and told a king, said: "If you touch her, you're a dead man", and the whole kingdom and all the people were in trouble, got in bad trouble just because he had even thought about touching her. And I also remember Jacob, when Jacob coming out of the land of Laban, even the girls' father pursued and the angel of God spoke to Laban and said, "Don't you touch Jacob, don't you bother his household, not at all." Said, "Don't you speak neither good or bad to him", in the sense of causing him any problem. And so then, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. It is a true fact that God destroyed, killed. When they touched the ark of the covenant, even David, though David was a man after God's own heart and though David was close to God; yet when David sought to bring the ark of the covenant into the city and not going according to the system of God by not letting the priests of the Levites handle it, the Lord killed the men that touched it and it scared David so bad that he wouldn't even bring it into the city. So it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God. That's what the Bible says. And even though some don't feel that way, some feel like that it doesn't mean them, and yet they've wound up in bad sickness and in bad circumstances for mocking in that they have lightly esteemed what God said. They wound up with diseases; they wound up with heartaches, they've wound up with sorrows because they felt like it didn't mean them. That because they had prayed a little, fasted a little, sought God a little, that that made them different. Folks, God's no respect of persons. Jesus said, "What I say unto one, I say unto all." It is a true fact that we need to let Him carry out His business and do what He wants to do and when we do that, then everything will be just right. The Lord apparently must have meant the church because it's for sure that I've never had any thoughts anyway, that felt anything wrong around my wife or my brother. Always been a real gentleman around my wife. Reading from chapter 15, Saint Matthews. Say a few things, it might be of a help to you. You know what we say can be of a tremendous help to you, or it can be judgement to you. Everytime the preacher preaches, not him that speaks but the Heavenly Father speaking from within him. Judgement begins at the house of God as to your faith in what He says. If you believe in what He says, then you are judged according to your faith in what He says. If you doubt what He says, then you are judged according to your unbelief in what He says. If you disbelieve, you are judged accordingly. Because you are either saved by faith, by the hearing of the voice of God as He speaks to you in that the Bible said, "They all shall be taught of God." You are either judged, your sins are remitted or your sins are retained by the man of God. He's set there to execute judgement upon them that do evil. He is God's minister. He beareth not the sword in vain. He's there for the good for you or the judgement depending on which way you go. You believe, your sins are remitted. If you do not believe the voice that speaks from heaven which comes through the minister, then your unbelief causes your sins to be retained. Whatever he binds on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever he looses on earth will be loosed in heaven. Whosoever sins he remits shall be remitted. Whosoever sins he retains shall be retained. It's up to him. St. Matthew, chapter 15 - if you've got your Bibles, you can read with me. (Brother Pike reads St. MAtthew 15:1-20.) You know we have ellaborated just a little bit concerning these things. Some of you have given heed to them and some of you have not given heed to them. But I want you to notice something; "For out of the heart, that which proceedeth out of the heart but those things which proceed out of the mouth." For out of the heart, He says, proceeds evil thoughts - evil thoughts. You know when you speak of evil thoughts, the Bible said, "After the flood that God looked down from heaven and He saw that man's thoughts were continually evil, continually evil." He swore that He would never again destroy the earth for man's sake because even though He had completely destroyed all of mankind and had nobody left but Noah and Noah's wife and Noah's children, still there was nothing but evil thoughts. And He swore that He would never again destroy the earth for man's sake. And He said concerning this, that someday He would do something about it. He saw that all of the punishment that He could inflict upon mankind, all of His wrath, all that He could do would not end evil thoughts. That He might punish man with all of His wrath but man would continually think evil, he would continually think evil. Paul the Apostle comes years later with the revelation after that God sends the atonement, Jesus Christ. And Paul, having the revelation, differentiates between good and evil. He differentiates between the spirit and the flesh, and what he calls the outer and the inner man, and he differentiates between the twins and the wrestling of the twins that were in the womb of Rebecca. He differentiates between the right kind of thinking, which is the mind of Christ and the wrong kind of thinking which is the mind of Satan. And he brings out a revelation concerning it and when Paul brings it out, he explains it like this; he said, "To will is present. To will is present." That is, to get a good idea, to get a good thought or to have a desire, an inner desire to do good, an inner desire to do good, an inner desire to do good is present. I have an inner desire to do good. An inner desire to do good is present. To will is present. But he said, "How to perform that which is good, I find not." I can't make my thoughts think right. I can't control myself in the sense of doing what I want to do without something running an interference. He said, to will is present from the innermost being of what he called the inner man but how to perform that which is good, that is by the instrumentality of the outer being which he referred to as the flesh, to perform that which is good, he said, "I can't find a way to do it. For to will is present but how to perform that which is good, I find not." And he said, "The good that I would do, through the will that is present, the desire to do good, I do not. And the evil that I find that is present that I would not do," he said, "that is what I do." He said, "Oh wretched man that I am. What a wicked, wretched man I am. I am such a wicked, wretched person," he said. "For in my heart, I want to do good," but he said, "I find that there is another law within my members, within my flesh." He said, "For within my flesh there dwelleth no good thing. For I find that there is another law within my flesh, within my members that is warring against the law of my innermost being, my mind, the mind of Christ. I find another mind in my flesh warring against the mind of Christ within me. And one will is an evil will and one will is a pure will. And I find another law within my members warring against the law of my mind. For within my flesh there is no good thing. Oh wretched man that I am. And I find that this law wars against me in such a way that when I would do good evil is always present. It's always present. I don't have to wait for it to come or wait for it to attack me or wait for certain seasons when this comes about." He said, "But there is a continual conflict. There is a continual warfare." He said, "That mind is warring all the time, it's continual." Just like a computer that's out of order. All of the time it's talking to me day and night. He said, "It never ceases. Day and night making war with my mind. It's continual, and my innermost being, Christ, is continually warring against it and throwing it back out and throwing it back out continually." He said, "So I find that there are between the twins, there is a cross up and between the inner me and the outer me, there is a continual conflict or a continual warfare." He said, "This goes on all the time. I feel so wretched," he said. "Oh wretched man that I am." Paul said, "Who will deliver me? I need a deliverance. I need somebody to help me. I need somebody to come and give me a helping hand. It's driving me crazy, so to speak. Oh wretched man that I am. Who will deliver me?," he said. And then as he got into the revelation of Jesus Christ, he said, "Oh wretched man that I am. Who will deliver me from the body of this death? Who shall deliver me from death? I am dying. Something is killing me. Something is pressing the life out of me. Something is driving me out of my mind. Something wars day and night. Something never stops. It never shuts off. It never quits. All the time it's like that. And it tries to force me into a realm of condemnation and tell me that I'm unclean and tells me that God doesn't love me and tells me that I can't have eternal life and I can't have the presence of God and I can't have the blessings of God or the goodness of God. All of the time," he said, "this does this to me. Oh what a wretch I am. I feel so wretched and unclean. Who shall deliver me from this death? Said this mind is a killer. It's killing me. Who shall deliver me from this body?" He said, "the body is what's giving place to it. Within my body, within my flesh, within my members." He said, "Who shall deliver me from this body? Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? This mind that through the weakness of my mother, Eve, that evil, wretched, wicked mind that got into me somehow through birth by my father, Adam." Said, "this thing is so ill-willed and ugly and filthy and degraded and it's so accusing and there's such condemnation that comes with it till there's no peace day nor night." He said, "Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Ever since I turned to God, ever since I started calling on Christ, this thing has come into view. This thing has come present. Before then, there was not any of it, for I went the way of all the world. There was no conflict because there wasn't two of us. There was only that one that was born from the first birth. Eat, drink, and be merry. No conflict, no cross up, no problems, but when I turned to God and I went toward that which I thought was going to give life to me, I found it to be death. And the very thing that I sought life from turned out to be my death. For I was alive without the understanding of God. I was alive without the law but when the understanding of the law came, sin within my members revived. Condemnation came forth and I died. I was crushed. I lost all hope because that which I'd never knew was wrong - all of a sudden, it became so ugly. That which; I never knew that I was guilty of. All of a sudden, became my accuser and it became my condemnation. And that which I never worried about, all of a sudden became so evil and wretched to me until I became crushed. Oh wretched man that I am. I see myself at last. I see myself. I see what a wretch I am. I see how wicked I am. Oh God, I wanted help and now you've crushed me. The only thing that I look to, now it's turned out to be my very death." And Job said, "The thing that I greatly feared which is God, He's come upon me with His wrath." But then as Job took hope, Paul took hope; so, took hope the soul. For though the knowledge of the law crushed Paul, and the knowledge of the wrath of God crushed Job, yet looking far beyond that, looking at the righteousness of Jesus Christ, a voice whispered and said, "Paul, Paul, why persecuteth thou Me? Paul or Saul, he called him. Look unto Me. I am the author and the finisher of your salvation. I am your righteousness. Paul, though you be weak, be strong by thinking about my righteousness. Though you feel crushed and though you feel inadequate, though you can feel you can't do anything, Paul, believe that I've done it for you. And when you've done all that you can to stand and you can't stand, and you know you can't stand and that's the end of you, Paul. Just look up and say, Jesus did it all and take courage in me. ..E EVIL THOUGHTS 5-12-82 Evil Thoughts 5-12-82

PART 2

And said, Paul, when you do, your faith in what I done will bring am unseen visitor and that sweet, loving feeling of the Holy Ghost will begin to come into you. And I'll purify your heart with that spirit by your believing Paul. As you believe by faith in me, I'll come through that faith, and I'll wash your heart clean and I'll move away the condemnation and you'll feel clean all over and you'll feel strong. Trust in me. Said, For the works that was necessary for your salvation, Paul, has been finished from the foundation of the world. Though you are a pharisee, Paul, and though you're blameless as touching the law, the law can never save anyone, Paul. But if you can believe in me, if you'll gave faith and have confidence in me, if you'll get your thoughts right Paul and let your heart think right, it'll think thoughts of faith, Paul, instead of thoughts of condemnation and thoughts of despair and thoughts of fear and thoughts of frustrations. For out of your heart Paul comes faith. With the heart man believeth. Out of your heart Paul comes the thought that constitutes the right kind of believing. Out of your heart comes faith Paul and it's with your thinking, with your believing, the right kind of thinking, the right kind of thoughts, the right kind of confidence that it will bring my presence into your heart. And I'll wash you clean and this wretched body from the first birth,Paul, have confidence that by the death of Jesus Christ that that body isn't seen by me anymore. That because I gave my only begotten son, I killed that body Paul. Oh wretched man that you are, but I killed that body at Calvary, and that Saul doesn't exist anymore and that inner Paul, the new man that's alive forevermore. And Paul, that man that is so wretched, that evil one that accuses, that one that is no good, that one that persecuted the saints, that tone that had them killed and thrown into prison. Paul he is no more. I crucified him at Calvary. I buried him in a watery grave when you went down to the street called Straight. And now Paul, there is nothing between me and you anymore. There is no sin between me and you anymore. There is no condemnation to them that are not in that old body anymore or in the flesh anymore. There is no condemnation to them that walk not after the lust of the flesh and the desires of the world and the human passions and that way of life. Paul, you don't want that way of life. You've forsaken that way of life and you've gone the way I ask you to go. You're not following after the things of the world and you're not working for the things of the world and you're not trying to obtain the things of the world. You've forsaken that and turned your back on that and you're trying to please me with all of your heart,Paul. Therefore because of this there is no condemnation in your shortcomings. There is no, there is no shortcomings in the eyes of God in your life. There is no stumblings; there is no condemnation to you Paul or them that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh that's forsaken the world,Paul, who walks not after the flesh but who walks after the spirit, for you're not in the flesh, because I killed your body at Calvary by the body fo Jesus and I took your sin and made Him your sin and, I buried your sin and I've resurrected Christ from the dead. So then I delivered him for your offenses of your offending in my presence, your offenses or your offending in my presence, your offenses I killed for Him for your sake. I smote Him for your sake. The Bible said, We esteemed Him smitten of God, bruised for our iniquity and the chastisement of our peace was upon him. Though He knew no sin and we, who knew all sin, He was made that sin that He knew no sin that we might be made His righteousness in God, for we are God's workmanship in Christ, or that is what Christ was made by God or God made Christ to be, that's what I am. And what I was in my sinful attitude and my failures, he caused Christ to take that on at Calvary and become that to kill that, destroy that, to bury that, to do away with that, to resurrect the new man which was Christ, delivered for my offenses as Jesus raised again for my justification by faith in His righteousness in the sight of the heavenly Father. Therefore it is not I that liveth in that I am dead and buried with Jesus. Reckon yourselves to be dead in deed by the body of Jesus Christ, alive unto God by the resurrection of Christ our Lord. So then it is not I that liveth, so God doesn't see the wretched man anymore. God doesn't see the evil one anymore. God doesn't see that one of the first birth anymore. God doesn't see that one of condemnation anymore, that one that has the continual warfare and that evil accusation and the evil thoughts that you can't get rid of, that's always plaguing and coming. God never sees him anymore. He's dead, crucified, buried, smitten - God done away with him forever. He is no more. Now it is not I that liveth, but Christ that liveth. I am alive from the dead to die no more. I am without spot. I am without wrinkle. I am without blemish, for God doesn't see me anymore as that man. He sees me as the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, members in particular, bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh and I am alive from the dead forevermore with eternal life to never die again. Therefore sin hath no power over me. That which was ordained unto life which was the law I found to be unto death. Not that the law or knowledge of the law was sinful for that was the thing that let me know that I needed a savior. But in that I had no strength to perform those things that the law required, God personified himself in a human body, called the Son of God,Jesus Christ came down into this world. lived a perfect life, fulfilled the law that I might have the righteousness of the law and he took the judgment of the law. To get the righteousness of the law, you must take the judgment of the law. So He took the judgment of the law and suffered the penalty of death and died out of the presence of the Father when Jesus said, My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me? That I might have the righteousness of the law and live in the presence of God that God might say to me, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So in the beauty of this we see how we exchange places with Christ Jesus and Christ Jesus, that is Jesus, the bodily part is dead today, gone away, God gave his only begotten son that we might live forever in His presence. And so then today, though the accusing mind comes, though that mind that came down through Lucifer in the garden from the tree of knowledge, that old human reasoning that makes me to know my condemnation by Lucifer who points it out and accuses me in that he is the accuser of the brethren that accuses us day and night through our thinking, we are free from that. By the death of Jesus, we are free from that accusation Revelation 12 where he saw the woman with her foot on the moon, the man child born and caught up to the third heaven, Lucifer going our was nothing less than Calvary. Jesus said I beheld Satan as lighting fall from heaven. And so then he cast the devil out, the accuser of the brethren. And from that time on, there is no more condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh bit after the spirit. Therefore through this faith and confidence, Paul said, We conclude that a man is justified by faith of Jesus Christ without any works of the law whatsoever. You know a lot of people get confused because James comes right along, one of the writers, and says, Without faith works is dead,or without works faith is dead, and vise-versa. Without faith works is dead. Without works faith is dead. Either way, he said. Now Paul said, I say that you are saved by faith without any works. James comes along and said, Brethren, can faith without works save you? I say that it can't. And it sounded like that they had a fight right there. It sounded like they crossed swords right there. Here Paul, the great man of God, that had the revelation said, Brethren, I tell you in the name of the Lord that you are saved by faith without works. James said, Brethren, I tell you in the name of the Lore, your faith is dead and you don't have some works. And it sounded like that they were preaching two different messages and the Bible said, They that are unlearned wrest these things as they do other things to their own destruction. But see brethren they were not contrary to one another, they were working together, They were hand in hand, They were preaching the same thing. The only thing that is wrong is our lack of understanding in what they're saying. Paul the apostle was saying, By the faith of the Son of God, by Jesus Christ's faith, we are saved by that faith, and sanctified by that faith and by His believing in God and not wavering. God has imputed that faith unto me by righteousness. TAPE TURNED OVER... your faith, your human faith will not be alive and active unless you turn it in the right direction and walk in the right direction. I cannot go around killing people believing that everything's going to be all right. I got to leave off with murder if I'm going to have the feeling that everything's going to be all right. You take a gin and start killing people, how are you going to believe that the law is not going to bother you while you kill people? James said, That's impossible. You can't do that, But if I get my works right and I don't kill people then I feel like everything's going to be all right between me and the law. You understand what I'm saying? He was simply saying, To believe in the faith that sanctifies us,to believe in the finished works of Jesus Christ, to believe in Calvary, you've got to do your very best to walk with God, talk with God, be like God, forsake the things of the world, do the things that please God and then if you stumble, then if you stagger, then if you feel condemnation, pay no attention to it, because you are not justified by that anyway. You are justified nu the faith of Jesus Christ. It is not your works of righteousness anyway. they are no more than filthy rags so far as justification in the sight of God. It's not by your works anyway. It's by the works of Jesus Christ. For we are God's workmanship in Christ. He made us what He wanted us to me by Jesus. He sees us without spot, without wrinkle, without blemish, without any such thing. Though we may stumble many times, a good man falls seven times, gets back up, he's still a good man. He was a good man when he fell. The first time, the last time, the seventh time, he was still a good man and he got back up. You know why he was a good man? There's none good but God. He was made one with God. He's bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. He did not just go out there and fall to be a comic. He wasn't trying to put on a show. He didn't fall running after the world. He was trying to do something for God. He was trying to stay clean. He was trying to go God's way and trying to do what God wanted, and the devil tripped him all up. That didn't defile him He just got up and started again. So then it is by faith in His righteousness that I am clean and I am holy. It is by faith in the Son fo God and what He did at Calvary that I don't have to put up with the devil's accusing thoughts and with the devil's filthy thoughts. It's for sure I don't want his garbage. I'm not a garbage can and I don't want his garbage. I don't want his filthy thoughts of the passions and of the body and of the flesh. I don't want anything he's got to offer me in this world. I don't want his presence. I don't want his people. I care nothing about him whatsoever. So then when he comes into my presence or he accuses me or he says things to me or says things about me I care little about it because I am sealed away in my innermost spirit, the Holy Spirit and the Bible says, He that is born of the spirit is spirit, or he that is born of God keepeth himself and the evil one toucheth him not. If you are born of the Holy Spirit and if you are born of God not one time from the time that you was born until the time that God calls you out of this world not one time will you ever sin. Not one time will you ever have a spot. Not one time will you ever have a blemish. Not one time will you ever do anything wrong. Not one time will you be under condemnation. Not one time will you ever be accused in the eyes of the father. There is no sin to a christian. There is no condemnation to a christian, You are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. And they said, We find no fault in this just bone and flesh which is Jesus. Therefore God hath perfected or made perfect forever them that are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. God has made perfect forever them that are sanctified and the Bible said, He has sanctified us once and for all by the offering up of the body of Jesus Christ at Calvary. He hath translated us out of the body, out of the world into the spirit into heaven which is His presence and said, Rejoice ye that are in heaven for Lucifer is not in heaven anymore. He is cast down. Rejoice ye that are in heaven for the accuser of the brethren is cast down and God will not hear his accusations anymore because the blood is between you and the accuser. Now is come power. Now is come strength, because God has raised up His Christ. Can you believe that? If you believe that then you've got what He wants you to have. Anytime you believe that, you become that. Anytime you accept that you become that, you become exactly that. If you believe that you're in heaven, then you are in heaven. So then as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. He thinks himself into heaven. He thinks himself into the earth. He thinks himself into condemnation. He thinks himself into freedom. He thinks himself into health. He thinks himself into failure. He thinks himself into happiness and peace. He thinks himself into fear and frustration. Do thy diligence to keep thine heart for out of it comes the issues of life. Whatever your daily life is going to be, whether it be peace, happiness, or whatever, your daily life is going to be according to the dictates and the thoughts of your heart. If thou canst believe, Jesus said, if you can think right, everything will be right. If you don't believe what God's word says, then you'll think wrong and everything will be wrong. So then he invites to think right. If thou canst think right, Jesus said, Don't doubt. Doubt is thoughts of unbelief. Believe. For belief, faith is thoughts of believing. Therefore it depends on what you think in your heart. Jesus said to them when they got real traditional, they said, you better wash your hands because Noses said they're dirty. He said, that's all right. Nothing wrong with washing dirty hands. That's a good practice said, But we're talking about salvation. Said, But well you better not eat that. Moses said, No, don't eat that. Jesus just as if as much to say, that's fine. That's good for your health. But salvation is not in eats and drinks, but it's in the spirit: joy and peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. If you eat your no better to God. If you don't eat your no better to God. It doesn't make any difference Jesus said. It has nothing to do with it. It's what I done at Calvary. They said, Lord, what must we do to work these works? He said, I'm the works. I'm the works. Said, They was finished form the foundation of the world. I'm the works. Believe on me. I'm the works of righteousness. Believe on me. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting or eternal life. So then, it's a wonderful thing tonight to understand. My people perish from the lack of knowledge. Religious people, especially pentecostal people, they spend their entire lives going out here somewhere trying to practice some kind of religious ritualistic practices to get to heaven. That's why God has let the ball game come in and the races come in and all of the worldly practices cone into the pentecostal life. He did the same thing to the Jews. The Jews took the more holier than thou and God let them get frustrated and let them do all kind of ungodly things: to strain at a gnat swallow at a camel. To let them know that there is no righteousness except God's righteousness. And when the man stood in the temple and he looked up to God and he said, I thank thee God that I'm not like those sinners out there. I fast twice a week and I pay tithes of all that I possess. The Bible said, God just frowned on him. And this other man beat on his chest and said, I don't pay tithes. I don't do nothing. I'm a wretch! Oh God! Have mercy on me! Oh wretched man I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I'm a wretch! God said, have faith in the son of God. He looked down from heaven upon that man that done his fasting and done his praying, done all of his ritualistics and he said, That's your righteousness. But I say unto you, Mr. Pharisee, Mr. Scribe, unless there is a righteousness that excels this, it'll never get into the kingdom of God. He said, unless his righteousness excels the self-righteousness, less your righteousness excels your own ritualistic practices and tradition of the elders, he said, Unless your righteousness excels the righteousness of the pharisees and scribes, less your righteousness be the righteousness fo Jesus Christ which does excel that righteousness, ye shall in no wise inherit the kingdom of God. And so then he turned away, He went after the people of the world in the sense of the Gentiles, forsook the Hews as a religious people come and took him a bride out of the Gentile people. Today, God's doing the very same thing to the pentecostal people. They've been so self-righteous until God let the ball games and the wearing of the pantsuits and everything else that's contrary to God, it's coming into the pentecostal church, because they took the more holier than thou outlook and went to the extremes of trying to justify themselves by what they call works. God has rejected them. On the other hand, the Baptist, the Methodist and the other side of the charismatic life has gone to the other extreme and said, It's not of works. We can just be saved because God loves us. They've went out and indulged in the things of the world and violated the Holy Scriptures where James said, Faith without works is dead and faith having no works cannot save you and so both, one going to one extreme and one going to another. While the great elect of God has put it all together and said, Thank God, I'm saved by the righteousness of Jesus Christ, but I'm saved because I believe in it and I cannot believe in it with my own believing less I do that which is right in the sight of God and have the human works and activity and instrumentality toward God that's pleasing to keep out condemnation that faith might work and they put it together and they got salvation. So then both of them are wrong. The jews went one way, to the works and God rejected then, The Gentiles went another way, saying. It's all of faith and we don't have to do nothing and God rejected them. But the church came in and put faith with works and said, Glory to God, we accepted the way the Bible teaches and God accepted them and God rejected both extremes and God accepted the church, and today she's holy without spot, without wrinkle and without blemish. Somebody say, I love Jesus. God just cracked the shell in two and threw one half this way and the other half that way and took the goodie right on out. It's so wonderful to be a christian and to love God, Thoughts, what kind of thoughts do I need? I need the right kink of thoughts. How can I have the right kind of thoughts? This is the secret of the whole thing, I strive always to keep my conscience void of offense toward a man and toward God. I must have the right kind of thoughts toward God from my heart. I must feel that all is well between me and God. I must feel that God loves me and I love God. I must therefore to have that feeling walk in harmony with God and His desire. I f I am to believe that the law is on my side, I must obey the laws to the best of my ability and walk in harmony with it and trust that the law is the right kind of law that makes allowance in the event that I stumble. Now, you know, when the law was given, when the law was given, thou it's righteous, that is God's law, yet, it is a killer to the extent that the devil used that knowledge to bring condemnation into my heart by showing me my shortcomings. He'd say, You don't measure up to this. And this is what it said and you don't measure up to what Moses said, and you don't measure up to what Moses said. That's what they told Jesus. Said, He's a wine-bibber. He don't measure up. But Jesus said, That's not it at all. You misinterpreted what Moses said. I was the one that told it to him. It went through the grapevine and now you got sour grapes He said, Let me explain it to you. Let me tell you what I meant. I made a lot of allowances for you. I said,Moses, give them a writing of divorcement because you can't even keep your community together if you don't. They're going to bust each other's heads open. They're going to split each others throats. Give them a writing of divorcement and if they don't this woman, let them have that woman. And if they want two woman, let them have two woman, if they want ten woman, let them have ten. But I'll put them all in the lake of fire at the end of the way because it wasn't so from the beginning Moses. But to keep peace so that the righteous people can continue on. Let them set up their law. Let them get their judges. Let them get their court. Let them get their governors and let them do what they want to. Moses, you just deep doing what I tell you and be faithful in all of your house. At the time of the crossing of the Jordan,I'll kill everyone of them and take you over, and He did it. I'll raise up their children. We'll start another generation that believes in what I said. So then Jesus said, Let me inter[ret it to you.See, the right kind of thoughts, if I'm going to have the right kind of thoughts, then I've got to do one thing. What is the right kind of thoughts? It's not fornication. It's not adultery. It's not lying. It's not murder. It's not hatred. It's not gossip. It's not these evil, wretched condemnations. The right kind of thoughts is peace, joy, virtue, holiness, righteousness, godliness, all of these wonderful things that make for life. If I'm going to have the thoughts that is confidence in His righteousness and confidence in Calvary that's going to bring me this healing, bring me this eternal life, bring me this strength, if I'm going to have these kind of thoughts, what can I do? There's only one thing that I can and this where the church world and the religious group of people miss out. This is where they miss out. They say, I believe in Jesus Christ, but they lie. They can't believe it. They got an intellectual reasoning in their head that they call faith and they say, I believe. I joined the church. I accept it. You said it. That's it. All of that's a lying vanity. That's will-worship. They will themselves to believe. They will themselves by their intellectual thoughts to go to church. They will themselves to say, I am a christian, but brethren, that can't save you. God is a spirit that goes into your spirit that lives in your heart, not in your head. I must have the right kind of thoughts. Jesus said, From out of the heart comes forth the thoughts that brings you life or death. Therefore, I must have the right kind of thoughts. How can I think right? How can I have the right kind of thoughts? There is only one way that I can do it. There is only one way. There is one way that I can get to heaven and that is think right. And if I don't think right, I can't go to heaven. And brethren, with thoughts accusing me all the time and with thoughts coming to me all the time, it is utterly impossible for a human being to think right. there is no way. So then, how can I think right? One way, the Bible gives us just one way. the Bible said, commit your works unto God. That world that's going to ball games and frolics and beaches and all of the entertainments of the world. They are worldly minded. They've got the love of the world within them. The love of God is not there. They can't think nothing but worldliness. And the only religion they got is a program. They have a building. They may be religious like Cain and they bring their offerings but they're on their way to hell. But if I commit my works unto God instead of unto the ball game. If I want to be a preacher and a son of God and a child of god, instead of being a movie star or some great celebrity or some great athlete. If I want to dress holy instead of dressing like some weight lifter-up and down a bench; if I want to dress godly, if I want to look holy, if I want to talk about God instead of talking about ball games, talk about heaven instead of talk about money, talk about doing something for God instead of talking about who I am and what I an and what I'm going to do, and what I ought to be. And spend my time trying to build Christ in my life, instead of going to college to try to build up my intellectual computer that I might have a brainstorm somewhere to get up enough money to buy me some insurance and have a nice funeral. If I'll go the other way around then I can live forever. I can live forever. All of man's labor is for his belly. The Bible says so,so he can eat and get fat, take a good size coffin. While he's eating, getting fat he's got to remember to put up some money for insurance because when he gets too fat he'll have a heart attack and they have to put him in a box. And if he stays mice and slim they'll put him in a box anyway. He just, might not get there as soon. It just depends. You shorten your days by your disobedience really not getting fat. Some fat folks live longer than skinny folks. Some skinny folks live longer than fat folks. The Bible said, If you see long life, follow God, refrain your tongue from speaking evil. Because long life is not in being far or being skinny like the doctor says, it's in obeying the Word of God, not the doctor. Some people take heart pills and die of heart trouble. Some men take no pills and live on forever. So then how can I do it? By committing my works unto God. If I commit my works unto God, then my thoughts will be established. It will be an anchor to my soul. Truth,my works, my efforts, my endeavors to do something for God, for the poor, for the needy, for world evangelism, to share my time in prayer, my substance with the needy, to give my heart and my thoughts and my desire to God. If I give my everyday deeds to God then my thoughts will become established, and they'll quit running around loose like a boat without an anchor, blown about by every wind of doctrine. I won't be running from corner to corner from a devil of fear and I won't be trying to hide from something that keeps saying,You want to be a millionaire. My thoughts will become settle. The Bible said, Casting down imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Jesus Christ that this si the way that we should do it. For the weapons of our warfare is not carnal, but mighty through the casting down of strongholds and everything that's against God. It's mighty! So then we can conquer our thoughts. We can be holy in this body. Oh wretched body. You can be holy. You can turn away from all of your evil and your wickedness by believing in the righteousness of God and putting that mind to silence, having confidence in the righteousness of Christ, knowing that whatever accusation comes to you or whatever shortcomings you have, it's not charged against you, that you're holy in body and in spirit in that this is the temple of the Holy Ghost and God sees it as the body of Jesus Christ which is blameless. Therefore you can be without sin, without spot and without wrinkle in your body, soul and spirit for Paul said, I seek to present you to God, blameless body, soul and spirit. I can do this and will do this for you and have done this for you at Calvary if thou canst believe in me. Commit your works unto God and your thoughts shall be established. Your thoughts shall be established. You'll think the right thoughts and when these things assail you and when these other things come, God does not even see it. Somebody say, I love the lOrd. Jesus said, Folks you're going at it wrong. You misunderstood Moses. It's not the dirty hands, it's not the tradition of the elders. Out of the heart comes forth evil thoughts that speak. Said, These are blasphemies, these are thoughts of adultery. You commit fornication in your heart. You actually commit adultery in your heart. To look and lust is to commit adultery. You commit it in your heart that the act of relationship between male and female is a divine instigation of God by marriage if it's done in order, according to order it is marriage. It is made to multiply and replenish the earth. It is holy and godly and the bed of the married undefiled and all, nothing degraded about it, nothing at all. But he said, that is not the sin. Human relation is not sin. I made human relation, God said. I'm the one that created that for the purpose of my kingdom. He said, That's not what sin is, He said, Sin is in the spirit. You don't have to touch a woman or a man. He said when your spirit goes to whorring, your spirit goes to desiring, for in the original rendering of lust, it is desire. When you look on someone that you're not married to and you desire them in your heart, male or female, you have become a whore or a whoremonger and an adulterer and you commit adultery in your spirit. It is your spirit that gives place to evil spirits, fallen angels,Lucifer. And that spirit that goes into your spirit, defiles your spirit and your body which is your temple. Because of the conception of that evil thought will bring forth deeds of death. You're enticed when you pass be and then you're drawn away by your desires or lust. Then there is a conception and it takes place in your heart. First eyes and then desires and then the conception of the heart, then an image of a bastard child is born or death comes forth or an evil spirit is born in your heart and I'll hate your image at the resurrection. I'll hate your image the morning because it is the bastard child born of evil and not of the Holy Spirit of God. You're not bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh or that old firstborn of the ball games and of the corruption of the world and the love of the world. You love the things of the world, Satan. You desire the things of the world. You're his image. You're his body and away with him you go. But those that love heaven and have heaven in their heart and heaven in their mind and heaven in their thoughts, you're a heavenly child and up to the throne you go. So then it is a true fact that if you're earth bound then that's what you are. Whatever you're overcome by, to whatever you yield your members,Paul said, that's what you got in your heart. So it is not human relation. Sin is not within the human body. Every sin is without the body. It is not the thing that you do on the body that is sin. You say,I done this and I done that. But there is no sin in the body. God crucified the body, took away the body because the body is here because God allowed it to be here, and the creature is subject to sin, because God allowed ot to be subject to sin. Therefore there is no sin to the body. Every sin is without the body. Every sin. There is not one sin that is of the body. All sin is without the body. Somebody said, except the sin fo fornication. No. It didn't say that. It said, All sin is without the body except the sin of fornication in the sense that he that sinneth the sin of fornication sinneth against his body. Therefore sin is a spirit. The only thing is fornication is an act that takes your body into the evil things and you sin against your body because you defiled your body and God destroys the body. Therefore you sin against your own body when you son the sin fo fornication, in that woman is part of a man's body and the woman comes from the man. And fornication and relation between human beings takes female into it, that means that the man has actually sinned against his own body in that the woman is part of him. So then, it is the thoughts, when you think the wrong thoughts a spirit comes in. You are defiled. The body has nothing to do with it. The transition of human relation has nothing to do with it. It is that God is a spirit. Satan is a spirit. Yo are a spirit. Fallen angels are spirit. Good angels are spirit. And so then in the spirit or in heaven, in the spiritual world, you are all spirits. Somebody would say, But Brother Pike, there is no sin in heaven and the devil is not in heaven. But that's where you're wrong. John said, I saw the devil in heaven. I saw the red dragon in heaven and that is where sin takes place, beloved friend. It takes place in heaven and so then it is in that realm that sin is committed. It is committed. It is in the second heaven, not the third. Paul said, I was caught up to the third heaven. The man child goes up to the third heaven. Lucifer was in the second heaven. John saw him. He was cast out back into the world into the first heaven. So then you understand what I'm saying. It is your thoughts. Therefore Jesus said, You misunderstand. Not being spiritual, you don't understand. Paul said, I'd like to speak unto you as unto spirituals. You don't understand, it's a spiritual thing. Out of the heart comes forth evil thoughts of adultery, fornication, murder, lying all these things, these are they that defile a man. Ye are the temple of the great Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit. If you defile that temple, the temple you defile, God that temple will destroy. So then I trust you understand what I'm saying. Understand the difference between you and the sinner, between you and a religious parasite or a hypocrite, between the church and that which is will worship. I want you to stand with me. You love Jesus? Somebody wants some oil here, to be prayed over. They're also wanting prayer. Let's pray over the oil and pray for the person here that's having the problem. Just stretch our hands out in this direction and let's pray over this oil. You know God said, Moses, the ground wherein thou standeth is holy ground. I say so often, if God can make the ground holy, he can make the oil holy. The handkerchiefs, aprons, that was taken out from Paul's body by those, God did special miracles. If God made the dirt or the dust holy, then we're made out of the dust. This He hath made us holy in body. He also can make the oil holy. But our prayers is not that God will make the oil holy, but that God will save the souls and heal the bodies of these to whom the oil may go, and that their faith may be inspired to believe in the blood and righteousness, healing and power and atonement of the son of God. My they be inspired as they get this oil, or if they are anointed with this oil in that the Bible said, Call together the elders of the church. Anoint them with the oil and the prayer of faith shall save the sick. And their faith be inspired in God as this oil touches them,to think that there's somebody standing with them in prayer somewhere and offering prayer in their behalf. So then, let's pray and ask God to do something. Father, Lord of heaven as I hold this bottle of oil up to you, forgive us my father for all sins. Forgive me of my sins. I look away to Calvary and (He speaks in tongues). Lord, I hold this oil up to you in the name of your darling son Jesus and I ask you to bless it and anoint it with your presence and the people to whom it will go. Save and heal and forgive. May it be anointed of thee, may we get the great, loving reports that we continually get, Lord that these signs shall follow them that believe. That in you name will cast out devils. Lord, we'll speak with new tongues. Lord, God of heaven, if we take up serpents they'll not harm us. Oh God, Lord, we'll tread upon them and dear wonderful God, that we'll raise the dead. These signs, heavenly father, to take up serpents that they might not harm us. To tread upon serpents, to raise the dead, to heal the sick, oh God, to speak with the new tongues. Father, may these signs follow us, to lay hands on the sick, you said they shall recover. Lord, these signs that's followed us down through the years, it's followed the believers down through the years. Heal and save and forgive in the name of the son of God. Cast out devils, deliver us from fear, frustrations, anxieties and all the evils of this world, heal Father the world over. In Jesus name, amen. Let's sing this little chorus together, can we? ( They sing; Come Into My Heart) Don't you love Jesus? Tonight, while we sing this little chorus, I want you to sing it with me. Can You? While we sing it, I want you to consider Jesus. The Bible said, Examine yourselves see if you be in the faith. Oh don't miss eternal life. The most beautiful thing that ever happened is eternal life. You love Jesus? Sing it again. (THey sing again) Do you want to come to the altar? You know we sing that song. (When the saints go marching in) What a beautiful thought, when the saints go marching in. Let's sing that can we? It's a beautiful thought to think about when the saints of God go marching in. (THey sing the song) Don't yo want to be in the number when the saints go marching in? I want to be in that number, I want you to lift your hands with me. Just close our eyes. Call on Jesus. And let's ask God to bless us. Ask God to consider us tonight. Hallelujah! (Brother Pike speaks in tongues) Hallelujah! Father, I praise your lovely name. God, I praise you for Jesus. I thank you for the righteousness of God which is in Christ my Lord. Father I ask you to bless us tonight. I know that you're resurrected from the dead. And oh God, I know that you're done it to die no more. And I know that we are alive forevermore. (Brother Pike speaks in tongues.) I praise your lovely name Jesus. I ask you to heal tonight and save tonight and forgive tonight. Father, restore tonight. Renew our health and our life, our strength, our youth in thee. Move by your power from day to day to heal and to save. And oh God this year give us a great year of soul winning, Father. Father, may we win many souls? May people be healed? I know you're healing right now. I feel faith in God and I feel you healing right now. Heal Father, (Brother Pike speaks in tongues). Heal in Jesus name, in your name,Father, heal. May the power of God be with us, the blessings of God be with us. May you heal in Jesus name. May the people Father think the wonderful thoughts of freedom, the wonderful thoughts of Godliness, the wonderful thoughts of virtue, and if anything be lovely and pure, anything be of faith and be of confidence, free from condemnation and free from sickness, free from oppression and free from poverty, Father may they think those thoughts tonight. Free from fear, free from frustration. Drive out every devil and every demon by the power of the Holy Ghost, drive them out. Satan, the Lord rebuke thee. By calvary I plead the blood against you, in the name of the Son of God. In Jesus name,Father,Lord you said, Whoever we bless would be blessed. These that are looking in this direction that believe in Calvary, we bless them in Jesus name. Father we bless them and they will be blessed, Hallelujah! We remit their sins Father and they will be remitted In Jesus name, the wonderful name of Jesus. Let's sing this chorus together can we? (They sing it again) Can you say amen? Hallelujah! I want Brother Dwight to come over and dismiss us tonight. Every time I think about Dwight, the days of the sounding of the voice. Wonderful, wonderful things are taking place in heaven and at Bethlehem. Praise God! I want Dwight to come over and dismiss us. Let's lift our hands up to heaven one more time and acknowledge God. If there is sickness in your body tonight, cancer in your body tonight, the Bible said, Greater is He, greater is He, greater is He, if there is fear in your life tonight, if there is problems in your body tonight, if there is sickness and frustration, doubt of God meeting your needs, if there is any kind of power of evil. He said, Behold I give you power by Calvary, faith in God over all the powers of the enemy, the Holy Ghost, for ye shall receive power when the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Greater is He, greater is He, do you hear me tonight? The Bible said, Greater is He. Who is He? Jesus. Greater is He that is within you than He that is in the world. Satan has been cast out into the world. Greater is He that is within you than that cancer. Greater is He that is within you than that problem. Greater is He that is within you than that fear. Greater is he that is within you than all of your worries and doubt and despondencies, complications and problems and worries, greater is He. Do you believe that He's greater? Why do you then fear the other? Why do you then fear the other, when Jesus said, Fear not. Fear not. Be of good faith. Be of good cheer. I've overcome the world. Somebody said, Well, I've not overcome that cancer. I've not overcome that problem. Brother, but He already has. This is the faith, this is th victory that overcometh the world, the fact that you believe He done it. Be of good cheer, I've overcome the world. And he that afflicted you is in the world. Greater is He that is within you than He that is in the world. If thou canst believe, Jesus said, you ain't got nothing to worry about. Everything's all right. Do you believe that? Then you're free from sickness, then your free from sin. You're free from problems. Do you believe it? If you believe it, lift your hands up. If you believe it, say Hallelujah!(THey say Hallelujah) If you really, truly believe that down in your heart, if that's your thoughts from the bottom of your heart, Brother, the devil ain't got a chance. God done if all at Calvary. We sing that song, Jesus Paid it All. All to him I owe. Isn't that right? He paid it all. I'm cleansed from sin by that wonderful, crimson flow. Hallelujah! Let's lift our hands and praise God. While Brother Dwight comes to pray with us tonight, let's believe. Let's trust Him. Let's believe him tonight. Let's trust him. Let's believe Him tonight.
