Redeeming The Outer Courts

I want to say as always, it's my privilege to be here under the tent tonight. Wherever we go, whether it's under the tent, auditoriums, or whether in the churches, it's always a real privilege to me to be there. Whether we have many people or whether we have few , I always count it a great privilege to be there, because of God's will and God's people. Even though sometimes, as David said, we don't meet with the results we'd like to, yet God took Philip away from a city wide revival and sent him down to one eunuch, because of the great reasons for it. I'm thankful to be here tonight in Monroe, Louisiana, even though it is out of season as far as tent season, and ordinarily I wouldn't set a tent meeting in weather like this, but we've set two or three meetings, as of late, under severe conditions, and God has blessed us with a tent full, and, on a few occassions, and then on some of them, in this weather it's been pretty small crowds, but always a fair crowd to minister to. But we did this for a special reason. The reason, the people of Monroe, Louisiana, of a surety, don't know. If they did know tonight why this tent was setting here in Monroe, you wouldn't have to worry about attendance. I can assure you of that. Every church from the Baptist down to the Pentecostals would be here, and they would be here early enough to make sure that they had a place under the tent, if they had to set on the ground, but they don't know and I'm glad that they don't know, even though I'd like to have people to preach to, but I'm glad that they don't know because that is not the plan and it works out well being like that. So then I'm thankful because I do know tonight. I'm very thankful to be here, and I appreciate those that are out with us tonight to hear the gospel. I don't believe it's so disagreeable under here tonight. I feel like that it's not cold to me. It might be cold to you but to me it's not cold. People go to a football game and they go to all kind of worldly entertainment when it's cold and icy and enjoy it in the biggest kind of way so I don't see that it's out of season for God's work, but it is out of season so far as a tent meeting is concerned. It's out of season, but we were to have a series of tent meetings and this one had to come, so we didn't draw back. The Lord spoke to me when the weather got cold, and He said, he that regardeth the weather shall not sow, neither shall he reap in the time of harvest. So since the sluggard won't plow for the reason of the cold, and He showed me that I was to go ahead and set the tent regardless to the weather condition for this series of meetings because it had to do with a great spiritual thing that the church world knows nothing about, and so then here we are at the last one of the series that we was to set, a series of seven tent meetings ranging from the Carolinas through Florida right on down over to Monroe, Louisiana and it doesn't make any difference about the weather. We're glad to be here and I'm thankful to be here tonight and I'm very grateful that God would open my understanding and let me know what He's doing in the Heavenly world that I might be partakers of the glorious benefits of the Lord Jesus and not look and walk after vain imaginations. People of the world, whether they're in evangelistic work or whatever, are always planning and walking after vain imaginations and doing things that are not profitable to God, even though it has a great show after the flesh, Paul tells us. So I'm glad to be here tonight and do what I can here in Monroe, Louisiana, and as to what God will do thats up to Him, but I know there is a great thing that'll take place here in Monroe, Louisiana. I was praying and the Lord said to me as I was praying, It said a revival broke out in Louisiana and I was kind of groggy. Kind of late in the morning and I was praying and I was kind of weary and I thought at first, it didn't register as to what the Lord had said, and I said, well, Louisiana. Revival broke out in Louisiana, and then all of a sudden it dawned on me that that was where we were headed for, was to Louisiana , and I said , Louisiana, Lord that's where we are going. I know that there's a revival for the people of Louisiana, and I know that even though that we've been here only three days, they couldn't respond in the first two days in what I understood because of the revelational things that was to take place, but I said that tonight, I told some of the Brethren, I said, they'll start responding tonight, and I see that we have a few out. We had some that came out on the first night, the Lord didn't let us have service. He closed out the meeting, didn't let us have service. I felt like it'd work like that and on the second night He held the people up until I finished the sermon and I explained to the people why and just as I finished my message some walked in under the tent which was a positive confirmation of what we had said, and tonight there are some that's beginning to respond. As a matter of fact, we had some people from one of the churches today, back over here somewhere and they came over and wanted to visit around and see what we were doing and they're planning, as far as I know, they are planning to be with us beginning Wednesday, to work with us here under the tent. They already had some things pre-planned and couldn't do anything about it, but they wanted to be a part of it here beginning Wednesday, and then there was another two more churches that want to be a part of it, so there are several churches that want to be a part of what of what we are doing here and I feel sure that they'll get out, from what they told me, before we get to far along in the meeting. But that's not what is important, even though I like to preach to people. I don't like to preach to benches. I like to preach to people, and I'm sure that people who come to the tent enjoy it more when they think something is going on. If they see a crowd, they feel sure something is going on, and if they don't see a crowd, they feel like God isn't doing anything. Whereas, that is poor judgement but nevertheless the world judges after the outward appearance and that is why they continually miss the things of God, but anyway people like to see a crowd. It makes them feel good and it feels like something is taking place you know, but I like to be in the will of God. I have chosen for many years to follow Christ, sidestep the show part that I might be in the will of God and so far He has blessed me to be in the will of God. I'm thankful for everyone of you that's here with us tonight to share in the enthusiasm of what we are trying to do for Jesus. Jehu, on one occasion, said, come and see my zeal for God. So come on out and see my zeal for God, because I have a zeal for the Lord Jesus Christ and doing something for the Kingdom of God. Something great and mighty is taking place and God is imparting some of it here in Monroe, Louisiana. So then, this ends the series of seven tent meetings that is an outstanding thing in revelation. We spoke of it last night and some of them understood last night what we were saying. Some did not understand and I'm sure if you'll come out to these meetings that we're going to have here, some of the things that I'll tell you you'll understand and some some of the things that I say, you won't understand unless you are walking and wading in deep water with the Lord Jesus Christ, but nevertheless, I love to say things to where the babes in Christ can have a little milk and I love to say things to where the ones that have exercised their senses to know good and evil can have a little meat. So then, it takes a little milk and it takes a little meat. The meat is for the strong. The Bible said, they who have by reason exercised their senses to be able to decern between good and evil. So then, if you have exercised your senses in praying, fasting, and studying, and seeking God, then you understand some of the deep things, perhaps that we'll bring out in this meeting. I want to read, first of all, from the Book of Revelation, chapter eleven. If you've got your Bibles you can read with me. I think that even some of them that work with us was so in wonder about this meeting, they wondered what I was doing out here. You know in this kind of weather. Some of them even here in Monroe, Louisiana, said Brother Pike, will you please come back when the weather is warm, but you know, you might not get back when the weather is warm. We have to do it the way Jesus said to do it, because that is the important thing. Christians should not wait until the weather gets warm. If God is doing something in their area they should be ready winter or summer. It doesn't make any difference as long as God establishes His record unto the day of good work. Jesus walked by a fig tree on one occasion, and He was hungry and He asked for fruit. He reached to receive fruit from the tree, but the tree did not produce any fruit, and the Lord cursed the tree and said, No fruit grow on thee, henceforth and forever. So then, it doesn't matter whether it's in season or out of season, if God wants fruit then we should produce fruit and see that God gets fruit out of our lives. Reading from the chapter, from chapter eleven from the Book of Revelation, I'd like for you to turn with me. I'm glad to see Brother Denny make it out to the meeting. I'm a little disturbed when he's a little late getting here, but I figured perhaps he went by his home and this is some of your relatives that's out with you Brother. Is that right? Your Mother and them. We're certainly glad to have them and everyone that comes. Your Brother? Certainly glad to have you folks out here with us. Appreciate so much your coming down to be with us. From Arkansas, is it? From Arkansas. Alright, some of the people that came down from Tennessee went back this morning. There'll probably be other people coming in from some parts of the state later on in the meeting, but lets just get together and have a good time in the Lord. If we have ten we'll have a good time. If we have a thousand we'll have a good time in the Lord, because I'm going to have a good time in Jesus. This little buggy that you see parked out here, over in the hours of the morning, I'm going to be having a good time with Jesus whether you are or not. So when we come here under the tent, I'll be here to minister to you and pray for the sick, and to believe that God will do something for you. You bring the sick out, we'll pray for the sick. I don't care how sick they are, you bring them out and let God worry about the condition of it. You just bring them out and I believe that God will do something for them. In Chapter eleven beginning at the first verse says...( Brother Pike reads all of chapter eleven and chapter 12 through verse 14). Now that's reading quite a bit of scripture. I won't preach as long as you perhaps think it would take to preach on all of that but I would like to have you to absorb that that I read tonight, because during the meeting we'll probably refer back to some of these things. As a rule when we come to a place to have a meeting we try to break in just a little bit along to the people the Revelation of Jesus Christ. A lot of people don't even know what the Revelation of Jesus Christ is. When you speak of the Revelation of Jesus Christ they don't understand what you mean by the Revelation of Jesus Christ, but as I've said so many times in our meetings, if you'll turn to the first chapter of the Book of Revelation, read from the first verse, you'll find out that it starts off reading like this, saying the Revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave unto Him to show to His servants those things which shortly must come to pass. And so then when you say the Revelation of Jesus Christ, you are referring to the invisible things of God that have not been made known to all people, but that is made known to the Holy Apostles and Prophets which God has sent to the world. Now then in Paul's day, Paul spoke of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, for God had taken Paul away from the learning that he had known and Paul had completely given himself to the things of God and begin to preach what is referred to as the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And so then we find when Paul refers back to it he said, and the mystery was made known unto me. And then he spoke on a number of occasions about the mysteries of Christ saying that I am one that has been born out of season and that these great mysteries that God spoke to me is for another generation. And so then here we are in the end of the world and here we are facing the issue that Paul brought forth concerning the mysteries of Christ as to being the people that are to receive the mysteries of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then we say, Brother Pike, why the mysteries of Jesus Christ? Why not the simplicity of the gospel as always? Because the gospel in its simplicity is sent, not to the church, but is sent to the world, that the world may hear the gospel and be converted. But the mysteries of God are sent to the church that the church may hear the mysteries, understand the mysteries and be translated that they should not go by the way of the grave. You follow me? You understand what I'm saying? If so then there is something that God has reserved for the church and it is the mysteries of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, I read to you the eleventh chapter and some of the twelfth chapter and if you'll notice the first thing that it spoke of in the beginning of the eleventh chapter is that God gave a reed unto John. He told John that he should measure the temple and leave out the outer court, because the Holy City was to be trodden under foot by the gentiles, until the time of the gentiles, was to be finished. Now, this is why that I made the statement, if the people of Monroe, Louisiana knew what was taking place tonight they'd be here in this tent meeting and they would not let anything stop them. Weather couldn't stop them, problems couldn't stop them, money couldn't stop them, they'd get here if they had to start early in the morning and walk to this tent, but they don't know that that's why they're not here tonight, but we that are here, there's a specific reason why every individual is here that is here tonight. So then, God said to John, measure the temple, leave out the outer courts, and don't measure the outer courts, for the Holy City must be trodden under foot forty and two months until the time of the gentiles has been fulfilled. The series of these meetings that we've had has to do with the fulfillment of the time of the gentiles. Now, I know that when I say that to some of you it goes way over your head and you can't picture how could a little tent setting in Monroe, Louisiana could have to do with the closing out of the days of the gentile church, but I can assure you tonight that this tent setting in Monroe, Louisiana and us being here tonight definately has a bearing on the closing out of the church ages. And the church ages are so close to being closed out that tonight if some of you that are setting here knew how close it was, they'd have to take you and put you in a straight jacket. You'd loose your mind and there wouldn't be nothing to keep you from loosing your mind, because I can see that there are people here tonight that's not living according to Godliness and not walking according to the rules of Godliness but just belonging to the church and going to church and I can tell you tonight that the things of God have an end, and here the Bible speaks of these two prophets that was raised up right at this particular time at the closing out of the church ages. And we are told here that the outer courts, at the time of John's measuring are not to be tampered with. The reason for this is because there is a spiritual significance in what God is telling John concerning measuring the temple. After that we've looked at it spiritually tonight we would say that we are the temple of the Holy Ghost, that ye are the temples of God, that God is a spirit and God walks on the inside of a human body and we are the temples of God tonight and if He said tonight, measure the temple, measure the alter of the temple, what would we have to do? We would have to go inside of this body. Paul refers to our alters as being better alters than that of the beast back there in the Old Testament, so then, we'd have to go to the inside of this temple tonight and measure the alters of God tonight on the inside of this temple. Is that right? How then could we measure the inside of this temple tonight? There is only one way that you can do it, and that's take the word of God and by the measurements of Gods Word tonight, and God's law, measure the hearts of mankind and see tonight if it measure's up to God's rule and God's measurements tonight that's called the Word of God. So then, we see a great spiritual significance in what God is telling John to do. He said, John measure the temple. Measure the alter of the temple, but He said the outer courts of the temple, He said don't measure the outer courts, just leave the outer courts alone. Then if we look back at it again spiritually what we have to say tonight concerning the outer courts. I'd have to say tonight that the outer courts would be the body of this temple tonight. That is to say that God has by His spirit and by His blood atonement translated the inner man into the marvelous kingdom of God and measured it according to the rule of God and justified it by the blood of Christ, but has left the outer courts which is the body unredeemed, unglorified and unchanged until the gentiles has finished trampling over the church. Isn't that right? So then, tonight, we look at it spiritually and we understand that God said to John that the redemption of the body cannot come until a certain thing has taken place. Is that right? Appreciate these others coming in tonight, here. So then, in the reading of the eleventh chapter we see outstanding things. We who are naturally minded read the natural word and we understand the natural things of God, but we who are spiritually minded, we understand the spiritual significance of the spiritual word of God. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was God. The word wasn't a printed page, but the Word was God, an eternal spirit in the beginning and God came forth, veiled Himself in a human body, clothed Himself in a veil of humanity, and walked in the midst of the people, to manifest the great light and the great understanding of the Almighty God to the world that they might see God within a human being. So then, God said, measure the temple, John. Measure the alter of the temple, and leave the outer courts. Don't measure the outer courts. That's so beautiful tonight, because God has for many years allowed the Jews to be mistreated. Allowed the Jews just to wander to and fro throughout the world. Never bringing them again as a nation. Never regarding them as a people, but rejecting them from Calvary and letting them wander through the darkness of the intellectual reasoning with no friends, with no hope, with nobody to help them, just wandering people that wander from nation to nation, everywhere. God has allowed them to do this for many years, but all of a sudden God is ready to reach down and redeem the outer courts. He said, John, don't measure the outer courts, just leave them alone, but Friend, today we've come to the hour of the measuring of the outer courts. Did you know tonight, everywhere across the world they are preaching the gospel, but the thing they are preaching tonight is just have faith in God. All you have to do is have faith in God. You don't have to do anything special, in living Holy, in preparing your life, in changing your ways, just have faith in God. That's all they teach. They teach that you ought to have faith in God. If you come before the preacher, and stand in the presence of the preacher and make your confession that you have faith in God, then they say, God has saved you. That's been alright for the preaching down through the years. God has accepted us by faith, and God has done something special for us by faith. God has not required any works for us to enter his kingdom, but I want you to know tonight that there is a different thing that is going on in this world tonight because God is ready to redeem the outer courts and when God turns to the outer courts, that means that there has got to be some works unto perfection for God to do what he wants to do. As long as God is not dealing with the Jewish people as a nation, then that means that the Gentiles only have to call on the name of the Lord to be saved. Just simply believe and you can be saved, but in the day that God turned back to the Jewish nation that means that everyone that comes to this salvation must walk circumspectly before God and they must perfect Holiness in their natural body or be rejected to pass through the tribulation period. God has not dealt with the Jewish people because the outer courts, that is to say the body of people, the outer man or church was not to be tampered with. It was not to be redeemed but it was to be buried in a watery grave in the name of the Lord. That is to consider ourselves to be dead for the body of the Lord Jesus Christ and our inner spiritual man alive unto God by faith and by the finished works of Calvary, but the Jewish people from the time of Calvary are a scourged people. They are a rejected people. They are a people that's out of the presence of God. They are considered dead in the sight of God, and it seems that there is no hope. For instance, Paul said, hath God cast away His people. He said, God forbid, for Israel is the apple of God's eye. They that touch Israel touch the apple of my eye. So then, it is God. Has God cast away His people, Israel? God forbid, for it is written, out of Zion shall come forth the deliverer and He shall turn ungodliness away from Jacob. So then as long as Israel is dead in the presence of God and as long as Israel is not a nation in the presence of God, as long as Israel has not returned to the homeland, then they are considered an outcast. And just as long as the nation roams, as Israel is roaming, it simply means that your outer man, or your natural body, has not come into the things of God, that you have never yet been glorified in your outer man. Now, I know that the church has received a translation of the inner man, by faith, we've been translated into the marvelous kingdom of our God, and tonight I'm not waiting to get into the kingdom of God. I'm not trying to do some special work, to be partakers of the benefit of Christ. I've already been translated into the marvelous kingdom of God. I've already passed from death unto life. I've already become an heir with the citizens and saints of the City of God. I don't have to wait. I've passed from death unto life, because I've been translated into the kingdom of God. The Bible tells us that God has already, not going to but already has translated us into the marvelous kingdom of our God. The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached. And men have pressed their way into the kingdom of God, and so then, by faith, we have been translated into the kingdom of God, but when we say that we are speaking of the inner man. We are speaking of the spiritual man. We are speaking of the man on the inside. Now you say, but Brother Pike, I didn't know that there was such a thing as an inner man, or a spiritual man, but the Bible tells us that there is a continual warfare between the inner and the outer man, therefore there must be an inner man. Why would Paul tell us that there was a warfare between the inner and the outer man if there is no inner man. There must be an inner man that is continually warring against the outer man, and the outer man continually warring against the inner man. If that is true that there is an inner and outer man then that means that something marvelous has taken place in a spiritual measure that the world cannot see. I made the statement today, life is passing through the veil. Life comes down to this body and it passes right through the veil. This life is passing through our body veil. Life comes into our body. It comes into our heart. It comes into our being, and we are radiant with youth and radiant with health, radiant with happiness, and radiant with strength and then feel like that's the greatest stage of life, but that isn't the greatest stage of life. That is the most dangerous stage of life. It's when life is blossoming within you. When life is radiant within you. When you are bubbling with life, it's the most dangerous time that there has ever been. The most glorious time of life is after that you have surrendered your heart to God, after you have passed through that life that comes in such an abundance, after that you get on the other side of it, then it's the greatest time of all, because life is passing through the stalk and at that time the stalk is green. At that time everything is radiant because life is passing right through the stalk. Everything is bubbling and everything is joyful and everything is radiant, but see there is no fruit unto perfection. All you've got is life in the stalk. The life is in the stalk and you see the shuck. The life is in the shuck, but see, life is only passing through the veil. It's on the inside of it. It's passing through your veil. It's passing through this veil, but life is not going to stay within the stalk. Life isn't going to stay within the shuck. Down through the church ages from Calvary comes that life passing through the stalk, passing through the shuck. All down through the church ages it's moving. Life is continuously moving. Life is producing it's inner part. It's producing an ear within the shuck. It's producing a power on the inside. It's producing something that will be a fruit unto perfection that will be meet for the master's use. All of the life is passing through the shuck from Calvary right on down to the end of the church ages, but at the end of the church ages there must of necessity come forth a reaping or a harvest for the master's use. Now then, we are coming to the close of the church ages. A lot of you don't understand that, but it's true. A lot of you don't understand that we are at the close of the church ages, which means that when the church ages ends the days of the gentiles will be finished. There won't be anybody saved in the church anymore, because the doors to the church age, or the doors to the gentiles will be closed. God's bowels of compassion toward the gentile people will be over. Now, if this life is passing through the stalk, if it's passing through the veil, then our youthful days are the most dangerous days that we have, because during that time when life's passing through that we can lose our souls. We can seal our doom. We can lose our eternal welfare, but listen, as life begins to leave the shuck, the stalk begins to wither up. The outer crust begins to wither up. The old man on the outside begins to change. He doesn't look as young. He doesn't look as radiant. He doesn't have the strength and the zeal that he one time had, because life is withdrawing from the shuck. What is it? It's the inner man. The fruit. It's the corn on the cob on the inside. It's that fruit on the inside. It's that corn within the shuck. There's something that is taking place. It's drawing the life out of the outer man. It's destroying the life of the outer man. Whereas the Bible says to abstain from fleshly lust that wars against the soul. That is that we must mortify the deeds of the body. We must kill out the outer man. Do away with the outer man. We must crucify him. Take away his joys. Take away his blessings. Take away his raiment. We must fast when he wants to eat. We must stay when he'd rather go ride and see his people round about. We must do something to build up the inner man and crucify the old outer man by mortifying the deeds of the body. What is it? See, it's that inner corn that's drawing that life right out of the shuck, right out of the stalk. What's happening? The outside begins to wither up. The outside is beginning to age. The outside is getting old. The outside is becoming dry, but the inside is growing in great, great, depths and knowledge of God. Growing in radiance of life and becoming greater and greater and greater. Why? When we see the outside withering up, what does it mean? When I was a boy in the country we'd plant great fields of corn and I'd watch the corn as it come up from little bitty seed out of the ground. All of a sudden it'd become a great stalk and I love to walk through the corn fields and the corn fields sometimes, the stalk would be two feet above my head, and I'd walk through there and look at beautiful corn, but see that wasn't really the harvest. After a few months I'd go back and I'd begin to look and all of the green radiance of life, see, it would begin to dry up, the stalk, the life would begin to leave and then we'd wonder where the life had gone to. But see, that's the greatest time of all. You'd see the corn, rich green, the wind blows through it, and you don't hear much noise out of it. It just blows about and there's not much to it, but when it's dry, the wind begins to blow through it, it begins to mourn, crackel, make all kinds of noise. See, that's the way the church is today. The Holy Spirit moves through it and people are grumbling, mourning, crackeling up, all these noises going on. Fussing, fighting, friction, division, malice and hatred. All of these things. Why? It's because life is withdrawing from the stalk. People are drying up. They are miserable. They are wretched. They are blind. The life is withdrawing. Grace is being taken away. And so then the only ones that has the richness of life are those that have the inner part that's rich with life. Those on the inside that have God. Those that have the inner man on the inside rich with the knowledge of God and with the things of God. See, the harvest is close at hand. All of a sudden we'll see the little shell begin to break up. Here if you notice among the people today, some people believe in three Gods, some people believe in one God, some people believe in two Gods, some people don't believe in any God, but if you will notice the shuck begins to split up. One will go off this way. Another will go off that way and another one will roll off that way. Did you ever notice that? See, it'll split up in about three parts. Then you look on the inside and what do you see? Just one ear of corn. Is that right? All of a sudden it's just split off. All the rest has gone it's way, and God has revealed the inner contents, revealed the inner man, or the inner life that Christ has been trying to get to all the time. See, Christ is in you. Christ is the hope of glory. That's why God said John, measure the inner court. I'm interested in the inner man. What does the inner man measure up to? What does your heart measure up to tonight? Out of the heart comes adultery, fornication, lying, cheating, lust, covetousness, all of these Jesus said defileth the man. Don't worry about the outer man. He said take care of the inner man and then will come the fortitude on the inside, then the outside will look alright. Alright. So then as long as those Jews are wandering it means that there is no glorification for the church. Remember Martin Luther's day, there was a justification by faith in the great act of reformation, and then in Wesley's day there came a great sanctification. Faith being the spirit of man. Justifying by the works of Jesus, and then in Wesley's day there came a great sanctification to the soul of mankind, but in our day there is to be a great glorification. You know it's hard for us to accept the fact that God has already glorified us. Isn't that right? We believe that God has justified us for the Bible said that by faith we are justified. We believe that God has sanctified us for the Bible said that God has once and for all sanctified us by the blood of Jesus Christ, but it's hard for us to accept the fact that God has glorified us, but the Bible said that God has justified, God has sanctified, God has predestinated, and God has glorified. So then, it's not a matter of what God is going to do, it's a matter of us coming into the place that we can comprehend what God has already done. Now, I say this so many times. See, the Bible doesn't tell us that we are waiting for the redemption of the body, in the sense that God has not redeemed the body, but it tells us that we are waiting for the time that we can comprehend the redemption of the body. The time when we can wit the redemption of the body. The time we can acknowledge that God has also, concerning the body, which he calls the purchase possession. As long as Israel is wandering. As long as Israel is out of the presence of God the human body will not be glorified so far as the change that Paul speaks of in Thessalonians, because they represent our body, and as long as they are out of the presence of God, that means that our body is out of the presence of God. Our body is considered dead because of sin, and God doesn't see us any more as the human body sins, but it sees us rather as the son of God, as the body of Christ. Paul said, it's not I that live but Christ that liveth within me. The life I now live, he said, I live by the son of God. I am bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh and it's not I that speaketh but Christ that speaketh from within me. So then, God doesn't see us any more as the old body sins. It's dead. It's buried in baptism. It's waiting for the resurrection that is yet to come. So then, we are free from sin in that the outer body is dead because of sin. We are free from sin, and God never sees the spots and blemishes of this old outer man, but rather he sees our inner man in the body of Christ and the outer man without spot, without wrinkle, and without blemish. Thus God has kept us under grace all through the church ages, thus God has kept us without spot by the blood of Jesus but Beloved Friend we've now come to the place to where God is fixing to get the hypocrite out of the church. I've got some hypocrites sitting here tonight. There are hypocrites setting here tonight, and I can tell you you are hypocrites, and there are some hypocrites among the people that are setting here tonight, but see God said He would pluck out old leaven and we would be a new lump. Isn't that right? God cuts out the old leaven and he makes us a new life. God takes away the hypocrite. The Bible said God has taken the hypocrite by surprise. See, there are people in the church today that are hypocrites but God will take them by surprise. They will be going along and everything will be fine. They will feel like they are part of the church. Like Ananias and Sapphira they'll hold back a part of the price. They won't pray with the others, they won't fast with the others. They won't sacrifice and give with the others. They won't seek God. They won't live Holy, but they'll say I'm a saint of God. I'm a minister. I'm a part of the church, but God said they lied against the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Ghost struck them dead. See, you'll find them in a wreck. God said, beware, speaking of the hypocrites, lest I tear you into pieces. God will tear you into pieces. The first news you know, they find you in a wreck. They find your home burned down. They find that somebody has stabbed you to death. They find that something has happened to you. All of a sudden, because you've played the hypocrite God has done away with you. See, it's the hour when God is going to do away with the hypocrite and draw that inner life, that inner life into his garner and going to burn the tare with unquenchable fire. The outer man is fixing to be changed. This tent meeting that we're having here that is so out of season, so unreal, so unreasonable at this time of year is just perfect in the plan of God. It's just perfect in the season of God, and everything is just exactly right for the closing out of the church ages. So then, tonight as we read this in measuring the inner courts leaving the outer courts we are told, the gentiles will trample under feet the outer courts of the temple. I say again that the true Church Of God has been trampled down by the feet of the Gentiles, just as the Jews will be trampled down during the tribulation period. Antichrist, for three and one half years will rule over the world and fight against the Jews and trample down the Jews which is considered God's outer courts, but God has already redeemed the inner life, which is the church down through the church ages. And God is sealing the Bride in and she's without spot, without wrinkle, without blemish and nothing can touch her. The Bible tells us that they that are born of God cannot sin. They keep themselves and the evil one, Satan, toucheth them not. And so then, tonight, it is so wonderful to understand that this meeting is typical, or has to do with the closing out of the church ages, which will bring in everlasting righteousness and seal up the vision that Daniel had. You know, even in this small congregation tonight you could hardly believe how much hypocrisy that there is in this small meeting tonight. People who have no religious affiliation with God. Women that are setting here tonight that's in the church for one reason, and that is Satan has them there to dress wrong, to have the wrong spirit, to try to allure the minister and try to turn people away from the steadfastness of God and to introduce to them frolic and foolishness and worldliness and to talk in such a way as to kill their keen interest in the Holy things of God, to make the things of the church seem as nothing. Always devils and demons in the church The Bible tells us that when the Sons of God come to present themselves Satan comes also. God comes in His temple tonight, the Sons of God are present tonight, but Satan also lives in the beast body and the beast body, which are not Sons of God, but the beast body also comes, and Satan, in the days of grace living in that beast body comes to present themselves, or himself, before God just as the Sons of God do. And so then, it's wonderful to know that we are Sons of God. John said, Now Beloved we are the Sons of God, and it does not yet appear to the glorification of the body, that is what we should be like, but when He appears, we know that we shall be like Him. And everyone that has this hope within him purifies himself, even as He is pure. There are men in the church just as women that have no interest in spiritual things, that have no interest in God, but they are in church just to create foolishness and thoughts, and to pal around, as we say, with the women, with the lady folks, and you can always tell'em because they don't have any interest in the man, they always have something to say to the woman. They are always walking around the woman. Their conversation is always with the woman. They always seem to be happy when they are with a woman. Their interest is not in God. Their interest is to come there by the leadership of Satan to tear people away from the faith and create an interest in the frolics and the things of the world. But in spite of all that there are true christians. There are people who love God. There are people that live Holy and Upright and people who want to know the revelation of Christ that they may not fill a casket and may not go through the tribulation period. Remember this, we are now at the age or the time of the age when we must fill a casket or go through tribulation. You are now at that point. You will either fill a casket or go through tribulation, but the saints of God will do neither one. They won't go through the tribulation nor will they fill a casket, but Paul said they'll be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump, caught away to be with God, so shall they ever be with the Lord. Alright, I want to say again I appreciate your coming here tonight. I appreciate the chance to minister to you and tell you something concerning the Lord. From night to night as we come here under the tent we're going to be praying for the sick. We are going to be telling the things of Jesus. Talking about the things of God, and from night to night we will be saying some things that will be strange to some of you. Very strange to some of you, but if you'll come, listen, give an ear to hear what Christ is saying, what the Spirit is saying to the church, you'll go away from this meeting saying that I'm glad that that tent came to Monroe, Louisiana, and saying that I'm glad that I was a part of the little meeting down in Monroe, Louisiana. Alright, so we are glad to be here. I want you to stand with me. Last night, I don't know why I started to having a little problem with my throat, last night. Since I've been here I haven't had any problems, but all of a sudden last night I started having a little trouble with my throat, but it'll clear up and we'll be able to minister to you the wonderful things of God, but as we preach to you I want you to listen. The Bible tells us to give the more earnest heed to the things that we've heard lest at any time we should let them slip, and then the Bible tells us to take heed how we hear for devils and demons are in the air and Satan, the Bible tells us that the prince or the ruler, over the powers that are in the air and those powers that you can't see. The Bible tells us that the children of disobedience are taken into captivity at the will of Satan, or those spirits that are present in the air. So It tells us to give heed how that we hear what we hear because from the time that I speak it Satan can intercept it and twist it up and when it falls into your heart you will misunderstand unless you take heed how that you hear. Lets sing a little chorus together. I want to say again that I appreciate these that came out to be with us. So far as I know there's another little church that's suppose to come and take part in the meeting and I'm sure that there will be others but in the meantime I'm asking you to come back and be with us and I'm asking you to pray for the meeting. Everybody isn't going to enjoy this meeting, but the Bible tells us in the eleventh chapter of Revelation that the two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth. You know if you look for a message that makes us jump and shout and run and leap the devil likes that because he likes to get in the flesh. He doesn't like the word because the word casts out devils, but he likes the things of the flesh, likes to turn the church into a football game or frolic. Now, I like to see people shout and praise God. I love to see them feel free in the spirit, but I'm talking about a real experience with God. A real experience with God. Growing up into the Word. The Bible tells us that we should grow in the grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We notice that these prophets, they didn't preach a shouting message. The Bible said their message tormented them that dwelt on the earth. That message was so tormenting that they killed them and put them to death. Stephens message was so effective and so tormenting that they stoned him to death. The apostolic ministers were so powerful but so tormenting that they threw them into jail, and they beat them and they drove them out of their cities and out of their synagogues. Pauls message was so tormenting to the people that the Bible said they stoned him to death and left him for dead outside of the city. You can see the great contrast of the true ministers and the show boys of today and of the frolics that are in the church. So then, are we going to be ready? Are we really going to be ready? The Bible tells us to remember the creator in the days of our youth. When the evil days draw nigh, when we look back and say we have no pleasure in them. You say preacher what do you mean the evil days? I mean the reaping days. Remember the creator in the days that you are sowing in your youth. So that you'll be able to reap good things in the reaping days, and they won't be evil days of bad reaping. Let's remember the Lord. Let's love the Lord. Whether you be young or whether you be old. Let's love Jesus and let's do something for Jesus. If you've never had an experience with Jesus you need an experience with the Lord Jesus Christ. Here in Monroe it is not my responsibility to reach the people, but it is your responsibility. The Bible tells us that we should go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, that my house might be filled, Jesus said. And it's your responsibility. I don't live in Monroe, Louisiana, but I've been living in Monroe, Georgia, but not in Monroe, Louisiana, so then it is not my responsibility here in Monroe, Louisiana. It is your responsibility, because you live in Monroe, Louisiana. You are the ministers of Monroe, Louisiana, and you are the youth of Monroe, Louisiana. You are the church of Monroe, Louisiana, and God is holding you responsible for the souls of many here in Monroe, Louisiana. I do not know where God has brought you from. He might have brought you from another state. He might have settled you here in Louisiana from another state, but you are the responsible one. I am here to encourage your faith and help you reach the people of Monroe, Louisiana, that in the day of judgement God will reward us together and you may have your faith strengthened in doing something for our Savior here in Louisiana. You love Jesus?
