The Token

This must be the night to do some preaching. I love you. I want to help you, but I don't want you to ever forget that Brother Pike is always aware that you are not sincere and right with God. I'm ever here to remind you that you are not until you get right with God. Whereas, I know that within our midst__ I'm well aware of the fact that in our midst I have some people that are right with God. I have some people that love Jesus, and I know that they are right with God. You say, Well, you don't know that they are right with God. Yes, I do know. I know that they are right with God because their lives bear the fruits of the Spirit, and the Bible says by their fruits you shall know them. I know that their lives are bearing the fruits of the Spirit and I know that their lives are in harmony with the Word of God. So I know that they are right with God. And I thank God for those because they are pillars in the temple of God, and they are the strength in the temple of God. And they are the ones that work with us. If you've got your Bibles you can turn over into the book of Genesis with me. Let's see. Let's read in the seventeenth chapter of the book of Genesis, the ninth verse. "(9) And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. (10) This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. (11) And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. (12) And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. (13) He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. (14) And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant." Then the twenty-first chapter in the tenth verse. "(10) Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac." You know, it says here concerning the circumcision, the Lord said, I will give this to thee for a token. I'll give it to you for a token. It will be a covenant between Me and you, Abraham. And I'll give it to you for a token. The reason that God did that is because it had a great spiritual significance. I'd like to say we're glad to have Junior's daughter Nita here tonight. I see her sitting here in the balcony with her mother. We're certainly glad to have her here tonight. We pray for Jenny and Junior's children. We pray for your children. I was telling Brother Carnes today that we were praying for his children last night. We're always praying for your children that God will save them. All right, now. There is a reason that God has given this for a covenant. The Lord has given for a covenant these things, whereas, God makes a covenant with His people. Here we find a covenant between Abraham and between God. You know, I love the Lord. I love the Lord because God communicates with me on a basis that I can understand. If God, who is the great power that cannot be seen, that cannot be touched, that cannot be felt except through Jesus, if God that great, that exceeding great power had not made Himself in a human form, into a human form, or placed Himself, personified Himself in a human body, if God had not done that I couldn't feel His presence. He couldn't feel my infirmities. I couldn't communicate with Him, because He would be so far elevated above me I couldn't understand, but because God loved me He made Himself into a human being, came down into this world, walked among us as a human being, expressed Himself through a vocal utterance, stood elbow to elbow with human beings, and walk and ate and slept with human beings. God, the Almighty God that created heaven and earth did that that I might be able to understand Him. Otherwise I could not have understood Him. But I could comprehend God through Jesus Christ. I have the ability to comprehend God through the Son of God. Otherwise I couldn't comprehend God. I wouldn't know anything about God. I wouldn't know what kind of God that He is. I wouldn't know how to serve Him. I wouldn't know His feelings toward me. I just wouldn't understand God. It would be too great, Brother Bill, for me to be able to understand God. But God, willing that I should understand Him and that He should understand me, came down in a human body. Willing that He could feel my infirmities and know my sufferings and oppressions, so He personified Himself in a human body that I might be able to touch Him. Today I understand God. So when He comes down to a man's level and He talks to Abraham like a man, and He says, Abraham, I want to make a covenant with you. Just a man to man talk. Let's you and I make a covenant. You know, just like I'd shake hands with Brother Taylor and say, Let's make a deal, Brother Taylor. God came down and talked to Abraham like that. Now, you say, Brother Pike, I don't believe that God would do that. But He did do it. The Bible says that Abraham set in the heat of the day, there in the door of the tent under the big oak of Mamre. And while he was sitting there, the Bible said that three people, it appeared to be people, three angels appeared to Abraham. They just walked up near the tent. Abraham, being spiritual, right away he entertained those strangers. The Bible said be careful how you entertain strangers; some of them entertain angels unaware. He wasn't taking any chance. Went right up there and he said, My Lord, turn in here. I want to prepare you a meal, a morsel of bread. I want to prepare you something to eat. Let me wash your feet. Getting cool water, you know, for their feet. Wore sandals back in that day in the hot blistering sun, typical of that against the soul, cooling the soul and refreshing it with the washing of the water of the Word. Abraham, the father of the faithful said, Let me cool your feet. Let me wash your feet. Let me give you something here to relax you. And then three measures of meal, or flour, you know, there to make them a cake on the hearth and get everything ready, and give them some milk and butter, and then he fetched a calf, tender, killed the calf and got everything ready. See? He was given to hospitality. Abraham was willing to share everything he had with total strangers. I wonder how many of us would do that today? How many of you when a man comes to the door says, Come on in, and let's have dinner? A lot of times they'll talk about coming over and the wife says, Not them. Oh, my! I'll have to prepare a meal for them and I was planning to go out to the restaurant. All I do is stay in this kitchen. Isn't that right? Sarah didn't say nothing; she did what Abraham told her to do. But look at the great reward that Abraham and Sarah received because they were more interested in finding the will of God than feeding their bellies and having the goods of this world hoarded up to where they could keep it to themselves. Look at the blessing that they received. God came down in a human form, and God talked to Abraham, and God made a covenant with Abraham. And God said, I've given you a covenant, Abraham. I want to make a covenant with you, and this is going to be a token to you. And He said, the sign of circumcision in the foreskin, this is going to be a typical thing that's going to represent the eighth day of the resurrection when the veil of the heart is taken away and I take out of you the heart of stone, place within your a heart of flesh, write my laws upon the table of your heart and bring Christ, the hope of glory into your human body to tabernacle. This is going to be my token with you. You know, it wasn't just the taking away of the foreskin. Whereas the Bible said that we are to circumcise our hearts. The Bible said, Ye uncircumcised in heart. To take away the old heart, to do away with the old heart and have the new heart. That's what it was all about; to take away the old man, take away the outer shell. Let the new man Christ Jesus live. That is the new man from heaven. It wasn't just the taking away of the veil. That wasn't what it was, but it was the spilling of the blood. That's what the token was. It was to be a blood route. God intended for it to be a blood route. Therefore the spilling of that blood, that was the token that God was giving. It is evident that is what it was, because later when they came up out of Egypt God reminded them again at the midnight cry, He said, And the blood I give to you as a token. And then later he speaks of it in Leviticus as the blood being an atonement for the soul, and said, When I see the blood I'll pass over you. Down in Egypt, said, put this blood upon the door post, and when I see the blood I will pass over you. But if I do not see the blood I will not pass over you. This is the thing that we've got to be sure of tonight, and that is that we have the blood of Jesus Christ applied to our hearts. If you don't have the blood of Christ applied to your heart, and I don't have the blood of Christ applied to my heart then you nor I (bad place on tape)...death when he strikes at the midnight hour. So then, the blood was the token. It's evident that the blood was the thing that God was referring to. Again, when Moses started down into Egypt, there when God called him to be a deliverer, there by the way the Inn Keeper was about to slay Moses because he had failed to circumcise a child. He had broken the covenant of God. See? But when the wife perceived it she circumcised the child and then she spoke of the blood saying, a bloody husband art thou, and then passed it off by saying a bloody husband because of the circumcision, and it pleased God. See? Bathed in the blood. Covered by the blood, ready for service because when I see the blood I will pass over you. So then, the keeping of the covenant of the Lord; that's the main thing. Abraham, I will make a covenant with you. Today I must go through the crucifying experience of Christ. I am killed all the day long. Accounted as a sheep for the slaughter. Yea, and in this things, He tells us, that I am more than a conqueror through Christ that loved me, and gave Himself for me, or died in my behalf. But I must give my life. God must see the blood. Now, I don't spill my blood literally, but I spill my life in that I give my life for my fellow man. My life represents my blood because the life is in the blood. If I give my life a service for my fellow man, if I give my life to God, if I continually walk with God, then I am spilling my blood as a lamb and if I do it as a lamb, that is if I live a holy life, a clean, overcoming life it is acceptable in the sight of God. We're killed all the say long to show the life of Jesus Christ, show the circumcision of the heart, to show the application of the blood and to show the spilling of the blood that represents the loss of life as we find grace and favor in the sight of God, and the keeping of the commandments and covenant that God made with Abraham. If I am not living holy, if I am a hypocrite, if I am not living right then my blood will not apply. God will not receive my life. I can come and sacrifice my life as a lamb before God, but if I am not a true lamb then God will not receive my blood. I must be the bone of His bone. I must be the flesh of His flesh. I must be filled with His Spirit, and I must be a lamb to represent the royal blood of Jesus Christ that is flowing through my veins so that God can see the blood and pass over me. He has to see the blood over the door post of my heart. I have to have royal blood flowing through my veins. If that royal blood is not in my heart flowing through my veins then I am not acquitted of my sins I am still guilty and I cannot escape the judgments of God. In the Old Testament all of the purging is by blood. Why does God purge by blood? Because all of the purging is by fire. The Bible teaches that everything can be purged by fire. God has to burn out the chaff. So then, blood represents fire. Christ Jesus went down into the chambers of hell, down into the belly of the earth, into the flames that He might feel the flames. That He literally might feel the fire that you and I were suppose to be burned with. God did that so that we could pass through a typical purging. And when God sees the blood it represents that we have passed through the flames, or we have been put in the fire and we came through the fire, and God has lifted us from the flames as we passed through the fire of that purging. But if He doesn't see the fire, doesn't see that flame of God, doesn't see that life of Christ, doesn't see the blood, then in indicates that we did not go through the purging of the fire. All things are purged by fire. Even Aaron when he would go into the holies of holies, though he took the blood. He would take the blood. He would take the perfume, but the thing that Aaron had to do was take that perfume and drop the hot coals in it. You had to take the coals from the altar, of the little golden altar, he had to take it and drop it into the incense because it was this that caused the steaming effect. Whereas the steam would rise up as he would walk into the holies of holies, walk beyond the veil dropping these little coals into that censer that would billow up into a cloud like. You know how water causes steam. That sweet smelling aroma, that mixture, or that wonderful perfume that God said if anybody makes anything like it I'll cut him off from among the people; which was a type of the Holy Ghost. Today if you get religious you are a hypocrite. If you try to be a Baptist, you try to be a Methodist, you try to be a Presbyterian, you try to be a Catholic, you try to be a Lutheran, you try to be Pentecostal and not a real born again child of God you are a hypocrite. You say, Brother Pike, you mean to tell me that I go to church and I belong to the church and that makes me a hypocrite? It makes you a hypocrite. You'd be better off if you'd go to the ball game, go to the races, do the things of the world, but don't go to church. Don't be a hypocrite. Go out enjoy sin for a season and die and go to hell, because that's where you're going to go anyway. But at least if you'll go out in the world, have a good time, you'll enjoy sin for a season and God will let you live. He said, I would that you were hot or cold. If you're going to be cold go out there and be cold and have a good time in the world. Live it up and then die and go to hell, but don't go to church and be a hypocrite and have God to cut you off in the midst of your days. You go to church and be a hypocrite God will cut you off in the midst of your days. You won't live your days half out. If you're not going to be cold, be hot. Be a Christian. Get born again. Be a real child of God. Get in church, be born again, and do something for Jesus Christ; live a Christian life. Brothers and Sisters, there is one thing in my life that I believe in. If I wasn't going to be a Christian, and a child of God, and a preacher, I'd be out yonder and I'd be in the world. I wouldn't be in between because I don't see the miserable wretched life of living in between God and the world. To me that is a wretched life. Elvis Presley was better off than some of you. You say, Why is that? Because he lived about forty years out there in the world. When he got old enough to enjoy the world he put his whole life into it. At least he got that much of life in the world. As far as I know he's in hell now, and will remain in hell, but he at least did get something out of the world. You are not getting anything out of the world, or out of God either one. So then, why be a hypocrite? Aaron when he would go in there, drop these coals into that perfume, this was the real thing. It was the real thing. He would take that perfume, he would go into the holies of holies, drop the coals in there and that vapor would billow up, come up, cover him and he'd find himself in the midst of that wonderful smelling aroma, that beautiful cloud of sweet smelling aroma that was typical of the great Spirit of God that protected him from the wrath of God that would come upon him as he walked into this great place called the holies of holies which was inside of the tent. He dared not go into that place without blood. He always had the blood for the atonement. Always, because the blood represented the fire from which this great thing could come up. When Jesus, as a man, came down into the world with His blood He spilt that blood, but Jesus went down into the fire, from that fire, going through the fire, going through the wrath of God, from that great, great wrath of God, that great burning place down there, came that wonderful aroma of the Christ, which is the Holy Ghost, that came up in the presence of God that is a sweet smelling aroma. The Bible said a sweet smelling savor of Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament the Bible tells us that Aaron sons, one or two of them, went into the courts there with some kind of strange fire. They walked in there and were going to do something on their own. They weren't going to go it the way Moses told them to do it. They were not going to do it the way the Bible had told them to do it, or the law had told them to do it; they were going to do it on their own. After all they were priests, you know. They could do it. Like Miriam and Aaron, they said, What about Moses? We're just as good as he is. I'll tell you, just as good as anybody else. That's the trouble with the world today. They don't want to listen to the preacher. Oh, I know he's all right. I know he's a preacher, but I think my advice is just as good as his advice, and God wants me to think just like He thinks, and God wants me to say what I want to say just like He says what He wants to say. But God doesn't want you to do that at all. God said, When you come to the house of God be more ready to listen than to give the sacrifice of fools. God tells me that when He's speaking and trying to give you the Word that when you go and give your opinion of it that that is a fool doing that. So then, what we need to do is get in touch with God. Miriam said, Well, it's not so important what Moses has to say. And Aaron said, After all I'm the High Priest, I don't see where it makes that much difference if Moses says it, or I say it. But I want you to know something, children of God. When Aaron made the golden calf and Moses came down off of the mountain it made a difference, didn't it? When God called for Miriam, and God called for Aaron and said come and stand before the door of the Tabernacle now. You know, when that great cloud would move over that Tabernacle that Israel would begin to shake. They would begin to get nervous, because when that cloud was over that Tabernacle it meant that God was in His Tabernacle. Brother when you see the Holy Ghost abiding upon a man, the anointing of God upon a man, that man is called a tabernacle and God tabernacles in him. And when you see that over a man that means that God is in that tabernacle; God is speaking in the tabernacle. It's like a vision I saw where I looked up to heaven and I saw this great cloud. I saw a huge cloud and I saw, as though fire was intermingled in it and I saw this great hand come out, just as a woman had rolled a batch of dough, and I saw this hand come out and tear off a great chunk of this as though it was flour, a great a hunk of this great cloud, and it was just like a balloon filled with gas and down it came from heaven. Just as quick as the great chunk was taken off of this great big mass of cloud, beautiful. The cloud was so beautiful. But just as quick as this great chunk came off of it down from heaven it came. I stood spellbound. I watched it. It was so real. I said, My God! My God! Hear I am a human being looking up to heaven, and I see a piece of cloud having been taken off of the great big chunk of cloud, and here it comes down from heaven. I said, My God! My God! It was real, I said, it's coming down to earth. And I watched it as it came all the way down from heaven. And as it came down from heaven it came down over my head. But, you know, I saw the fire go out of it. I saw the fire begin to leave it. The fire was in it up there but I saw the fire begin to leave it. Now, you say, Brother Pike, what do you think that was? When that cloud got down over my head it burst, and it went out from me__ It went into me and went out from me like that and went into, looked like four, or five people standing around. Now, what do you think that was? I believe that was a message that God gave the revelation of Jesus Christ that he took from Himself. That great cloud was God, and that God took that part of it and brought it down from heaven and put it down here in the five fold ministry for today that we might hear the Word of God and believe that God is in His tabernacle. Hallelujah! I believe that with all of my heart. You say, Well, why do you believe, Brother Pike, that the fire left it. I believe that the fire backed out of that cloud because the Bible said by night it was a pillar of fire and by day it was a pillar of cloud. Hallelujah! The wrath of God is not in it by day, but it's pillar of cloud by day. The Bible said that when that cloud stood there that Israel never moved one time. There was no moving for Israel just as long as that cloud stayed there. If it stayed there a week Israel remained there. If it stayed there a month Israel remained there. If it stayed there a year Israel remained there. But, Brother, the minute that cloud lifted and went on it's way Israel began to move. Now, you say, What do you mean by that, Brother Preacher? I mean that we try to get ahead of the cloud. Miriam and Aaron said, Well, I just don't see where there's any difference in what I say and what Moses says. But I want you to know something. Brothers and Sisters, you listen at me. That was Moses' brother. That was Moses' sister, but that did not make any difference. God spoke to Moses and God was interested in what He had said to Moses, not what He said to Aaron and Miriam. Now, you say, what do you mean by that? I mean that we are all Brothers and Sisters. Isn't that right? All of us are Brothers and Sisters, but God may speak to you and God may not want to speak to me. And if God wants to speak to you I don't have nothing to say about it. Ole Brother Peter said concerning John, said, Hey, what about this fellow? God said, That's nothing to you; what I do with him that's my business. You know, we're too interested in what God is going to do with the other man. Isn't that right? It doesn't make any difference what God does with the other man; it's God's business. God's property. So then, God said, Miriam, I want to ask you something. You've shouted, you've hollered, and you've had a good time. Now, this was the essence of it. Said, Ya'll shouted and had a good time, and you've played the timbrel and all these kind of things, and God blessed you. And, Aaron, you've been doing fine. I've given you a place of leadership, but what was wrong with you? Couldn't be contented; had to gossip a little bit. Somebody says, Oh, well, it don't matter about me, now, but if it's Ole Brother Fontaine he better watch out cause God will burn his field. But now if it's me that makes a difference because that's me, you know, and the Lord knows that's me. But it didn't make any difference, Brother Fontaine. It didn't make any difference. God said, Miriam, wasn't you afraid to speak against my man Moses? (Begin tape one, side two.) Wasn't you afraid to do that? I imagine by that time they were shaking like a leaf on a tree. I don't imagine they could say very much. Do you reckon they could? If I had been in the presence of God like that my teeth would have been chattering like a chip monk. God said, Why did you do it? Then He put them to the test. Now, He said, You feel like you've got just as much right to say something as Moses has, Aaron. And, Miriam, you feel like you've got just as much right to say something as Moses has. I want to ask you something. Do you live the life that Moses lives, Miriam? Aaron, do you live the life that Moses lives? Let me tell you something, He said. There is not a man in all the earth like unto my prophet Moses. Not one anywhere. Said, He is faithful in all of his house, all of his house. Said, Miriam, you're not like Moses, and Aaron, you're not like Moses either. And said, Besides that let me tell you something. Said, If there is a prophet among you, said, I'll give him a dream. I'll speak to him in a vision. But Moses, I'll speak to Moses face to face. I'll come down and talk to Moses. Isn't that right? Abraham, I'll talk with you. Glory to God! You're my friend, Abraham. I'll come down to the tent and I'll visit with you. Is that right? God gave him a covenant. Gave him a token. God gave Moses that token. He carried it on over. And God caused Moses to see that that flame burned continually on that big brazen altar by day and by night, that that blood sacrifice was continually made and Aaron dared not go in the presence of God without that blood. He dared not walk one time into the presence of God without taking that blood. I'll tell you something. You'd better listen to me today. You'd better get right with God. You'd better get right with God. You'd better get the blood of Christ over your life. You better quit gossiping. You'd better quit backbiting. God has taken the hypocrite by surprise. One day God is going to meet you face to face. You'll be going down the road and like that, God will meet you all of a sudden. And He said, Beware ye that forget God, lest I tear you into pieces. You say, Well, Brother Pike, I'm getting along all right; I've been doing it for years. Maybe you have. Just say, God, I thank You for Your mercy but, God, you've looked down on a poor wretch. Help me, Jesus, and forgive me and help me not to do my evils anymore. Because I'm going to tell you something, folks. You're going to reap every seed that you've put in the ground. Some of you are reaping some bitter seeds right now, and I want you to know you haven't reaped anything yet to what you're going to reap, because every seed that you've placed in the ground you're going to reap it. Somebody said, Well, praise God, I know when I come to God He'll forgive me of all of my sins. I agree with you. The preachers of today have literally blinded the people. They say, Well, we know that you're a sinner and God understands, and so they keep on sinning. They say, God loves you. You're a sinner so they keep on sinning. God doesn't love you if you're a sinner. God said, I will pursue you until you perish from off of the face of the earth. God said you are wicked and all of your prayers are an abomination in my sight. All of your offerings are an abomination in my sight. I can't help if you support Billy Graham, or Brother Pike, or Oral Roberts, whoever it might be, God said your offerings are an abomination in the sight of God. And I can't help if you get down and you say, Lay me down to sleep, pray the Lord my soul to keep. I can't help if you go through your silly ritualistics, God is still angry with you. Somebody never takes they're children to church, never teach them about God, and they go through their silly ritualistics and say, Darling, it's time for bed; lay me down to sleep. Mommie's little lay me down to sleep. You hypocrite! You kill that baby, you're a murderer. God put you there to watch over it's little soul and you just as well as stabbed a knife into it. I told my wife the other day, I said, Some day mothers are going to be standing before the judgment of God as murderers, because they don't care where their little ones are at. They don't watch over their little ones. They don't care where they go. They don't care how they're raised up. They set a television before them with all the filth of hollywood on it, all the corruption, and they kill, they murder that little child before it ever has a chance to do anything. Somebody say I love Jesus. What is it? God has given us the covenant. He's given us a token. What is that token? What is that covenant? God's Word. For the Word was the lamb, and the lamb was slain, and the Word was made flesh that it might be a lamb, that it might be a blood atonement. That it might be for your sins, and that we might believe in it. And it's the faith which is in that blood of Christ that sanctifies me today. It's not your faith. It's not my faith. It's not Christ's faith that sanctifies me. The mind of God that was in the blood, that was in that mind, that was in the heart. That mind of Christ Jesus down in here. It's His mind. It's His faith. It's His love. It's His salvation. It's not by works of righteousness. Nothing that you can do. You say, Well, Brother Pike, why do you preach holiness like you do? Because if you've got God you've got holiness. If you haven't got holiness you haven't got God because God is the spirit of holiness. How can you have God when God is the Spirit of holiness? If you don't bear fruits of holiness how can you have God? The Bible says when we get God then we will have our fruits unto holiness. How else can a tree that has an apple nature have any kind of fruits except apple fruits, because it's got an apple nature. Brother, if you've got the spirit of holiness in you, you're not going to drink, and you're not going to curse, and you're not going to smoke, and you're not going to lie, and you're not going to joke. You're not going to go to the filthy places of this world. You're not going to drink in the filth of this world. And you're not going to be partakers in running around to six flags and the frolics of this world. Now, somebody said, wait a minute preacher. Where do you get that? From God's Word. Somebody said, Now, wait a minute. You don't think Jesus would take in six flags for a little relaxation? Everybody that believes He'd take in six flags for a little relaxation you can raise your hand. Even the hypocrites are afraid to raise their hands. They know better than that. Everybody that feels like Jesus would go down to a bar and get Him a beer and relax a little bit by a television show that comes out of the corruption of Hollywood I'd like for you to say amen. You know He wouldn't do nothing like that. See? How can you have the nature of Jesus in you and do it? The Bible said, the nature of Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and for ever. Brother and Sister, if you've got the nature of Jesus in you, you're going to act like Jesus. Isn't that right? If I have the nature of Jesus I'm going to love the things of Jesus. I'm going to talk about Jesus, think about Jesus. Everything I do will be like Jesus, because that's all there is to do. After all it is not you that live but Christ that liveth within you. Therefore it is Jesus that is living. Paul said, The life I now live I live by the Son of God. Christ in me is the hope of glory. I have a token with God. I have a covenant with God. What kind of covenant is it? The blood. When I see the blood I will pass over you. I have that great wonderful understanding with God. You know, the Bible teaches__ I made mention of this on t.v. the other day. Last night, I believe it was. God teaches that that little blood cell that was in Mary's womb brought about a human being that was God manifest in flesh. I know we say, Brother Pike, we're God manifested in the flesh. And I believe that because I teach that. But there is a vast difference between God in Christ Jesus being manifested in the flesh and God being manifested in your flesh, or my flesh. I brought out the other night the Greek words that make the difference where He took part of the same. Meaning not taking part of all. Whereas the other word had to do with taking part of all, in that the children took part of the same. Two words. Koynoneho and Metecho, the two Greeks words for it. Christ Jesus being made a human being. I know when the Word in the beginning spoke that that was a human being come into existence when He said, let there be, and the Word was made flesh. The Word was made a creation because the Word veiled Itself in expression and gave forth life, and all form of life is the Word within in the veil, that the knowledge of God fills the heavens, the seas, the skies, even the stars are there for signs and seasons. Every animal that's in the sea. Every species represents a certain thing concerning godliness. But there is a difference. When God made Adam God made Adam out of the dust. Took him up from the dust and God formed him out of the dust, and God said, I have made a man from the dust and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and he is a living soul. Adam__ But, oh, what a difference! What a world of difference! The breathe of life in his nostrils. He could walk, he could see, he could hear. But, oh, there is so much difference in what God did with Jesus and what God did with Adam. There he was a living soul; walking and talking and seeing and hearing, but God said he is a living soul, and God put the breath of life in him. And when Adam fell, when Adam sinned, God said to Adam, From the dust thou art to the dust thou shalt return. I have taken thee out of the dust and thou shalt go back to the dust. But when God created Jesus He never picked up a handful of dust. Every man that was ever born from the time that Adam came into the world was made out of the dust because he was made from Adam's blood that came from the dust. But when He came down to Jesus, the Bible said, the Holy Ghost over shadowed Mary and Mary literally conceived of the Spirit of God. That's why it's called the Son of God. The Bible says in the Old Testament that there was a divine conception. Somebody would say, Brother Pike, you don't really believe there was a conception? The Bible said, Behold a virgin shall be with child, or conceive, and bring forth a child and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which shall mean that God is with us. Mean that God is with us. Said, When this little fellow comes into the world, said, He's going to be different from that other Adam. Oh, hallelujah! Paul, when he saw that revelation, he waxed bold and he said, Folks, Adam was of the dust, the first man, a living soul but, he said, the second man was the Lord from glory, God with us. God Himself stepped down from glory. Stepped down and made Himself a tabernacle. Paul said that was the Lord from glory. You know, we, as people, we like to define that thing down and say, Well, Mary, she had her little one, too. And sister so and so, she had her little one, and Sarah, she had her little one, and Elizabeth, she had her little one. Are you listening? So we put them all on the plane and God He brought forth His Son. It was one of those little ones that was born down there of a woman. That's what the Bible says. But, oh, my brother, it was more than that. The Bible said God came down from heaven. The Lord from glory came down from heaven. The Lord from glory came down from heaven. He entered a little blood cell. He enter a little blood cell. Somebody would say, But, Brother Pike, He wasn't there until He was born. Jesus said, Father, restore unto Me the joys I had with Thee before the world ever was. Before the world ever was. Have you got time to listen for just a minute? Just for a minute; I want to say something here. What is the difference? There is a world of difference. Nothing less than a world. I like that. People use the term, a world of difference but, beloved friend, here is the truth. There was two different worlds. There was a world of difference. Jesus said, You are of this world; I am not of this world. A world of difference. I didn't come form the dust. God could not say to Jesus, From the dust Thou art; to the dust Thou shalt return. When Jesus hung there at Calvary God couldn't say that to Him. Jesus cried out, No man taketh my life from me. This commandment I have of my Father; I have the power to lay it down and the power to take it up. You can't find anywhere in the Word where God spoke to the second man Adam like He did to the first one. He didn't say, Adam, from the dust thou art; to the dust thou shalt return when it came to the second man Adam. But He said, Oh, God! That's the way the Father spoke to Him. He looked at His Son and said, Oh, God! Thy throne is established for ever, from everlasting to everlasting. Oh, don't that make a difference? Here was a conception. Here was a life. A life that came straight from the Spirit that went into a little blood cell in the womb of Mary. A difference. A world of difference. That life in the tiny blood cell in the womb of Mary, what was it? It wasn't a living soul. The Bible said it was a quicken spirit. Adam, thou art made of the dust; thou art a living soul. But the Bible said the second man Adam was the Lord from Heaven; a quickening spirit. There was no dust to His birth. There was no dust to His creation. He wasn't partaker of the blood of Adam. He was made, created in the womb by the quickening of the Holy Spirit that brought the conception. God said, Thou art not of the dust, my Son. Oh, glory to God, what a difference. What a difference. You say, Brother Pike, why do you get so excited? Because the Bible says, as He is so am I in He. That's what makes me excited. When we see it__ I look back at Adam and I see Adam, but beyond that I see Lucifer. Lucifer the son of the morning, the prophet said. Oh, Lucifer! Thou were the greatest tree in the garden, the most beautiful, but you lifted your head up above the others. Oh, how beautiful thou wast, Lucifer. Now, listen. And in Heaven Lucifer, a covering cherub called the Son of the Morning. God's glory. Just as the sun would break forth over the eastern horizon, and he would catch the first glimpse of it. Lucifer the son of the morning catching the brightness of the glory of God. God's glory. God's brightness catching that glory, that radiance. God, the great light, His wonderful glory. More beautiful than a diamond sparkling in the radiant sunlight. More beautiful than the most beautiful pearl that man ever found. God's glory. And Lucifer, Lucifer the son of the morning, giving that glory out. Giving that glory. Oh, Lucifer, thou son of the morning, thou covering cherub. But, listen. This is where people make their mistake. Lucifer the son of the morning. Mighty Lucifer, how art thou fallen and become like the rest of them? Art thou also become weak and fallen down to the sides of the pit like the other great ones? Lucifer the son of the morning. The Bible said God sat upon the circle of the earth beholding the inhabitants thereof as grasshoppers. Lucifer the son of the morning, catching the radiance of God. But, listen. Though he was great, though he was mighty, thou he had great beauty, such beauty that heaven marvelled, the angels marvelled when they saw the radiance of Lucifer the son of the morning. Angels are beautiful. Angels are powerful. Angels are magnificent, but when they saw Lucifer they marvelled. He was so much more radiant than all the others. But all of a sudden he got it in his heart concerning his beauty. He got to noticing those that were watching his beauty. He got to thinking about all of those that magnified him and he got lifted up in his mind, in his heart, and the Bible said the day that he did iniquity was found within him. But, listen. There was one thing that Lucifer had overlooked, that God is too great, God is too mighty, God is too intelligent to make a slip-up. He knew what He was doing when He placed Lucifer there. He knew what Lucifer would do. When Lucifer got lifted up all of a sudden Lucifer's light went out. Are you listening? All of a sudden Lucifer's light went out. That's why Jesus hung at Calvary. That's why God smote Jesus. Smote Him as a covering cherub. Made Him sin when He knew no sin. But Lucifer caused it. Jesus was reflecting the light of God into this world. Reflecting the light of God into this world until they said, He is God, and God took Him to Calvary. God turned His back on Him and all became dark. All became dark. God He climbs into the regions of darkness saying, My God! My God! Why hast Thou forsaken Me? And the sun turned dark as sackcloth of hair. What was it? Lucifer__ I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. It was the Christ that had exceeded Lucifer in the flesh. It was Lucifer the son of the morning. His light had gone out, darkness had come. Suddenly, too late, he realized that he did not have a light. Oh, beloved friend, listen at me. Listen at me today, or tonight. Listen at me. Too late he realized that he was not that light, that he did not have light. God had made him a reflector, and all he had been doing was reflecting the glory of God. He was reflecting the glory of God. And when God withdrew, when God withdrew then he had no light. He was a creature of darkness and into the darkness he went. And God made him the ruler of the darkness. He was a reflector. He was a reflector. Do you understand what I'm saying? That is the difference between Adam. That is the difference between the first man Adam and the second man Adam. Adam was the son of God. The Bible said he was the son of God. He was there in the garden. Adam walking among the trees in the garden where the tree of life was. He could not die because the glory of God was with him. But, oh, too late he and Eve learned their lesson. Too late you learn your lesson. Too late you won't listen. You get lifted up. You get strong in your own mind. You get to feeling that you can do it. All of a sudden Adam, all of a sudden Eve began to do it on their own, like Miriam and Aaron. All of a sudden Adam learned too late that he was a reflector. He learned too late that he was not born of the Shekinah glory of God. But he was in the presence of God's Spirit. He was in the presence of the Shekinah and the Shekinah was coming down upon him and his wife, and as long as he abode within in it everything was all right. The world today needs to acknowledge that God's grace has been poured out and the Shekinah glory of God today is shining across the world through the medium of grace. But through their intellectual ability, through their knowledge, through their intelligence though they're reflecting the graces of God in a government in types and shadows, and in the things that they are doing and their ways of life and through their pilgrimage of life. But, oh, dear friend, too late they're going to learn. When the blood comes off of the mercy seat too late they're going to learn. As the Shekinah lifts off of them as it did Adam and Eve that they're creatures of darkness and that they are a wondering star that reflects the glory of God, and this religious world is shouting and jumping and confessing and professing Christianity they're going to find themselves as creatures of darkness. You say, Brother Pike, what do you mean, creatures of darkness? I mean the mind of Jesus Christ. The mind of Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Jesus said, Ye are the light of the world because you have that mind. But He said, Paul, turn my people from darkness to light, which means intelligence, human reasoning, education is darkness. It's that old tree of human reasoning where He said, lean not to thine own understanding but for to be carnally minded, or with your own reasoning is to die. There is no life beyond the grave for them that is in the carnal mind because it's enmity to God. Satan's instrument. He uses it. The Shekinah lifted from Adam. God said, The day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Lucifer said, Thou shalt not surely die. But he knows that in the day thou eat thereof your eyes shall come open and ye shall be as Gods. There is some truth in what he said. The ministers of Satan have changed themselves, transformed themselves into ministers of righteousness. Satan changed himself, or transformed himself into an angel of light. Said, Ye shall be as Gods. It was true. They became as Gods. They became as Gods. No doubt Adam and Eve said, Ah ha! Eve probably said, Yes. That's what it is. God has been holding these good things back from us. That's the way it is. Yes. He don't want us to eat of that so that He can keep a yoke on us. (Begin tape two, side one.) .....All she had to do was eat of that tree and she would know like God. But, see? Lucifer didn't tell her that she would not be God. That was a mistake. Did you know that? That was a mistake. Now, listen. No doubt when she got back to Adam she said, Uh huh, Adam, I found out something you don't know. What is it, Eve? I've found out that God is lording over us. Why, I know all kind of things. Now. The Bible said that Adam also partook and ate. Their eyes came open. They knew that they were naked. I say again, Why were they naked? What kind of nakedness? because God said they were naked to start with. They were already naked and they were not ashamed. But what was it? It was the garment of God's glory that kept them from condemnation. It was God's righteousness in their heart covering, as the covering of His glory; the covering cherub of Almighty God. Thou covereth with a covering, the intellectual reasoning of the dark veil of intellectual reasoning. A covering. You cover with a covering but not My covering. That's why the Catholic people over with those dark coverings. That's why they shave their head. The woman has got her covering of the hair, shave it off, dishonor the head. A woman moved the glory from the church. Left the Shekinah and God is gone. Reject the pastor. Reject the Word. Reject the mind of Christ and the covering is gone and you don't have any covering of God, and you are not protected of God. So then, too late they learned their mistake. Look at it for just a minute. What was it? It was gone, beloved friend. It was gone. All of a sudden that covering was gone. That Shekinah was gone. That light was gone. The glory of God had lifted; it was gone. Why? Because he found out that he was a reflector, thus Adam became the head of that serpent because he submitted himself to Eve's mind, which had become corrupted by the beast. The Bible said in Adam all die. For to be carnally minded, beast minded is death, because beasts cannot live eternally, but to be God minded, spiritually minded, not carnally minded. Not in a world of carnality, but to be spiritually minded is life. Adam had lost his spiritual reasoning which was God's word, his spiritual guideline. He had no covering anymore. Like the black widow, Eve had swallowed him up. And today Adam is inside that old fleshly woman called the flesh. All flesh is as grass and the snakes lay in the grass. And today Adam is on the inside of that fleshly woman, that fleshly woman, that human body, that intellectual reasoning, that beast body rules over Adam. Rules over Adam and you follow the passions as Eve did, of lust and human desire. You follow the desire of houses and lands and money and passions and frolics, feeding, making your belly your God because the Bible says all of your labor is for your belly. Being carried away with human sensation, wanting somebody is see you, somebody to hear you, somebody to know what you've got to say when you don't have anything to say. Wanting to be an Elvis Presley. Wanting to play, wanting to sing. Wanting somebody to see you. Wanting to put on a nice frock so they can see your figure, to see your muscles. Mr. America, or Miss America. Do you understand what I'm saying? But, see? Adam was not born of the Shekinah. He was a reflector. In Adam all die, because he lost the Shekinah. But in Christ Jesus we're all made alive because he was a quickening Spirit. He was not a reflector. He was born of the Shekinah. Today in Christ Jesus I'm not a reflector. I'm born of the Spirit. Glory to God, I'm not like those that are our there in grace. I have Him on the inside of me, as Christ on the inside of me. Royal blood inside of me. He is living inside of me; I'm not a reflector. I'm born of the Spirit. I'm born of His Spirit. His mind is in my heart. His mind is inside of me. His life is on the inside of me. The life I have is from Christ. Adam learned he was a reflector, and in him all die. God said, thou generation of vipers. But, Oh, beloved friend, when you are born again you take on the mind of Christ. Let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. Let this covering of the Shekinah be in your heart. For I give you a token, and I take away__ I take away the foreskin of your heart. Circumcise your heart, He said. I give you a covering. Take away the foreskin of the veil of the covering of Satan. Take away the mind of Satan. I give you a covenant. I give you a token, Abraham. Take the veil of death away, for the eighth day will represent the removing of the veil. The morrow after the Sabbath, the first day of the week, the resurrection. We are in the resurrection. I am alive with Him. After Calvary, it is the eighth day. I am born on the eighth day. The veil has been rent in twain and I have the token, and the veil of death that fell over me in Adam is taken away. I buried in it His name beneath the water. Today my heart is unveiled and the token of His covenant is there, the blood application, for the blood of animals and goats could not do it for life from the first man Adam fell unto the goats, into the beasts, and the covering of that life was beast life. And God said that blood won't do for life to run into. It's death. It's death. Ever since that life got into that beast blood you've got a covering but it's beast covering. It's called the red dragon. It's sex life. It's that corruption for human blood corrupts. Life can't remain in it. But today I know that by Calvary that blood was spilt. That human being that sinned, that Adam, God pointed to it killing one beast after another until finally a human beast came forth, which was the son of God made like unto a beast. That's why revelation said, out of the waters came the beast with ten horns. Because Jesus came forth typical of that beast that God will destroy with those ten commandments is that the Bible teaches that sin gets it's strength by the law. Unto you came death by Moses and by the law. The Bible said the law is good. Those ten kings of revelation, that He put it in their hearts to give their strength unto the beast. That is, to the flesh, sin, until they had fulfilled His will and then those same kings, like the commandments of God, shall burn the beast. That is, those that rejected God, the brute beast made to be taken and burned, those that give their selves to the passions of the lust of the flesh. God shall burn their bodies by the ten commandments of the law that have fallen from grace, as unto the law. And the law of judgment demanded the penalty of death, to burn the beasts bodies outside of the camp. Jesus suffered without the walls of Jerusalem. I've been there. I've seen out there at Golgotha where outside the gates of Jerusalem they hung him there on that mount. He suffered outside the gates because in the Old Testament that body was taken outside of the courts of the gates of the tabernacle to show the rejection; God rejecting the brute beast. But that blood was spilt at Calvary. The Red Dragon. The blood life, the covering of beast blood, the prison in which the life had gotten through the beast mind and the weakness of the woman, the flesh, the beast part. That blood was spilt. The Bible said at death the Spirit goeth back to God who gave it. When that blood was spilt out went that life. Back to God at last. A human being. A lamb without spot had spilt it. It could be received because it was pure life the way it was when it went into the beast from Adam. But, beloved friend, the outer man was made sin to pay the penalty of Adam's fall that he might be released. So then, there is much that we could say tonight concerning Jesus and the Jewish people, but I just want to say this hurriedly in closing right here. We have another covering. My life went back to God who gave it for at death my life went back to God who gave it. Reckon yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin by the body of Jesus, alive unto God. Alive unto God. Dead by the body of Jesus. As many as had been baptized into Christ has put on the new body, bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. Have put on the body of Christ. We are baptized into the membership of the body by the life and the mind of the Holy Spirit. My life has a new covering. Today it is the covering of His blood. The covering of His blood, the token God gave them of the covenant of Abraham. The old veil is gone and today it is a spiritual covering, but it was over Adam in the beginning. It is that quickening Spirit covering. I am covered by His Spirit. Grieve not the Holy Spirit whereby thou art sealed; that is your life on the inside. Sealed until the day of redemption, which redemption is of the body, for this seal standeth sure; God knoweth them that are His. So then, I am in the eighth day. I am in the day of jubilance, the day of resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in this resurrection for I am the resurrection, Jesus said. Death is passed. Sorrow is gone. Heartaches are gone. Woe is gone. Poverty is gone. I'm free. My spirit is again with God who gave it. It's not I that liveth but Christ that liveth within me, and the life I now live I live by the Son of God. I today am hid in Christ with God whom the heavens have received. And the Jewish part, the membership, has gone out of His presence through the dark age wandering through the sorrow and the heartaches. Gone is the head that was rejected, Jesus the body, the beast, until the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled and the Shekinah be lifted, and only they that have the Shekinah on the inside, the covering of His glory. Only they will be partakers, for when the Jewish people come back in it will be the resurrection of the dead, and they are already coming in, beloved friend. They're already coming in. For the body of Jesus was down in there. Went down, stayed there the two days. On the third day He arose. And Jesus said a day is as a thousand years. Peter spoke of it as a thousand years with God. A day as a thousand years. If that body of the Jews, the body of Jesus that's hid away, if that body has been almost two days, two thousand years away from God, almost two days hid from the presence of God, then that Jewish body, before it sees corruption must come forth in the resurrection and Paul in the revelation said, if the casting away, the cutting off the Jews be the reconciling of the world, the revival to the Gentiles, what will be the receiving of the Jews but life from the dead, or the resurrection. They're coming in. There is peace. You've heard me speak of what the Pope has done. The blood has been changed. It's not on the Jews anymore. The Pope says they're guilty. The sins are forgiven. Israel is finding peace. The time of the end is here. Where is the covering tonight? I give you a token, God said. Abraham, I give you a token. I give you a token, my friend Abraham. And this shall be unto you as a token. This shall be My covenant with you. But if any of you have not this covenant to be circumcised in heart, ye shall be cut off from the household of God. So, beloved friend, I warn you as one that loves you tonight, you'd better get in the Spirit of God. You'd better get born again. You'd better get in and mean business. Don't be a hypocrite. Get in and do what God tells you to do. Don't be lifted up. Don't think of yourself more highly than you ought to and find out that you are a reflector. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and He will exalt thee in due season. And the Bible said, God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows because thou hast loved righteousness. Give yourself to God and let God lift you up. Let God bless you. Let God do something for you. His eyes are throughout the earth beholding the good and evil, running to and fro in the earth seeking the upright in heart that He might show himself strong in the behalf of those that are upright in heart, wanting to do something special for you that walk upright. I want you to stand with me. I love you. I've kept you long tonight. I didn't mean to try to keep you long. I only wanted to talk with you, because the time of the end is here. I'm trying my best to arouse you, to awake you, to make you to understand that we are the Word of the Lord made flesh, but in Him it was the quickening Spirit. All of God, not part, but God coming through a blood cell to be a human body. But in you, beloved, we're made from the dust and it's by measure that his royal blood comes into us according to our faith as He hath dealt the measure unto us if we can receive it. And through that the measure of the Spirit changes us to the royalty of what He is altogether. Changing us from the dust, from glory to glory, from measure to measure into His royal superiority, into His majesty. But He has no need for that change because He was the Lord from glory. He was the Lord from glory. Let's sing this song together, can we? (Singing) Can you sing it with me. (Singing) From glory to glory. (Singing) From faith to faith. (Singing) From revelation to revelation. (Singing) Oh, listen, friend. The redemption of the body is near. I know you don't believe me. Some of you won't never believe me. You grieve me. I come into the service and you don't have any enthusiasm for God, any respect. You don't have any reverence. You don't have any hunger. You don't have any thirst. The wives aren't true to their companions. You'll never be so. You can't find a woman that's true to her companion. There ain't no such. Men are renegades. But, oh, in Him He is so sweet and so lovely. You never get grieved in Him. You never get hurt in Him. You never feel bad in Him. There is a future in Him. He is everything. You look at your fellow man and they say, Where did you get the nails? In the house of my friends. Who crucified you? Those that I love the most. Where are My enemies? Those that be of My own household. Who broke your heart? Those that I spilt My blood for. Folks, redemption is near. The end of the world is close by. The end of the world is close by. Don't believe me because I'm Brother Pike, because I'm nothing. I'm nobody. I'm just a speck of dust in the universe, not good as you. But believe me because God's Word says so. Because He loves you, and because He is telling you that the end of the world is here. Redemption is close by. He is speaking loud and clear to tell you that redemption is close by. Don't you love Him? Don't you love Him? Let's lift our hands up and love Him, can we? Father, we love You. Lord, we love You. Lord, we see the glory of Your unveiled face. And (speaks in tongues). Hallelujah! Hallelujah! (Tongues) Hallelujah! Have Your way, Jesus. Speak, O Lord, to our hearts and lives. Speak, O Lord, to our hearts and lives. Speak, O Lord, to our hearts and lives in Your love, in Your understanding, Beloved Father. (Tongues) Yea, I have called and no man has answered Me. Yea, My hand has been outstretched to thee. I have stretched my hands forth unto thee. Yea, and I have spoken unto thee with tongues of fire anointed with the coals from the altars of the living God. I have said unto thee that thou art a peculiar people, that I have chosen to bring forth the fruits of God and good works unto Him. Hear ye the word of the Lord, yea, for thy day draweth to a close when God shall reckon with the Gentile people, yea, and the trump of God shall sound, yea, and those that are in the graves shall hear my voice as I speak, saith the Lord, and they that hear me shall hear, yea, and they shall come forth. Even unto everlasting life shall they come forth, all that shall hear me shall come forth from the grave, for yea, I say unto thee that the grave shall not hold them that have died in the faith. Those that have gone on before I shall bring with me at my coming, yea, and ye that are alive and remain shall I exceed them that are dead in Christ, for I say unto thee that the dead in Christ shall rise first, and ye that are alive and remain shall be changed, yea, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump, from mortality unto immorality. Then shalt thou be caught away to be with thy Savior, yea, in the heavens shalt thou come that thou shalt be with me. Yea, throughout the endless ages thou shalt not cease to be blessed. Yea, in the light of the heat of the day it shall never light upon thee for thou art my blessed and thou art my beloved. Yea, and I shall lead thee to fountains of living of waters. I shall water thee, yea, as the heavens water the plants and nourish the little herbs upon the earth, yea, I the Lord God shall lead thee with tenderness; thou shalt grow up as a calf in a stall, and as a tender plant before my eyes. Yea, I shall water thee, and life shall be eternal and ever more unto them that love Me. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Glory to God, hallelujah! Oh, hallelujah! Glory to God. Oh, hallelujah! Glory to God. Let's sing this song, Let Thy Will Be Done, Lord. (Singing) Can you sing it with me? (Singing) While we're singing come to the altar for a few minutes, can you? (Singing) You know, we have a little fragment of life, just a little tad of life, so fragmental, so small, such a fragment of life, though you might have ten more years to live, you might have twenty more years to live. You might live thirty more years, but it's only a fragmental bit of life. Why would we then take a chance saying, We are alive. We are young. We have got a life to live. Why would we do that when we could die tonight. You might not live to be another day old. Though you might be young, it could be a wreck. It could be a heart attack. It could be anything. I had a vision the other day that a woman that wasn't too old went out just like that and immediately John Manley's mother, just like that. They said it was sudden. I don't know whether that was it or not, but it happened. See? Here's the thing. What I'm preaching tonight, oh, this should make you so glad. This should make you so glad because it is life everlasting. This is life everlasting. And God said, Abraham, I shall make with thee an everlasting covenant, and I shall give to thy seed Canaan land for an everlasting inheritance. I like that, for an everlasting inheritance. I'm not going to give it to you for a day, or week, or a month, but for an everlasting inheritance. And my covenant is going to be not for a day, or week, but my my covenant is an everlasting covenant. I love that. I like that. Tonight I have that everlasting covenant. I have Christ in my heart. I have that everlasting covenant. You say, What is that everlasting covenant, Brother Pike? Everlasting life. (Begin tape two, side two.) To live everlasting, on and on and on throughout the endless ages and life shall continue. Life. Why shouldn't I be happy? for what could I have in this world that would substitute for life. Though man gain the whole world and loose his soul what would he profit? What could I exchange in that day for my soul? for the soul that sinneth shall loose life. It shall surely die. What then can I exchange for my soul? I have nothing that He will receive from me to give me back my soul. I couldn't exchange anything with God. Though I might be rich, though I might have everything in life, but there is nothing that I can exchange for my soul. But, Oh, beloved friend, if you have His everlasting covenant, His everlasting blessing in your heart, His everlasting life. If you have in your soul, in your heart, in your spirit tonight His everlasting covenant, His everlasting life you don't have to worry. You don't have to worry. We sing the song, there ain't no grave going to hold my body down. When I hear the trumpet sound I'll get up out of the ground, because there ain't no grave going to hold my body down. I tell you what, we're living now in the hour of the redemption of the body. We don't have to worry about a grave holding our body down. If you'll believe you don't even have to go by the way of the grave. You don't have to go by a casket, just believe. Believe. Somebody said, But that cannot be. But it was with Enoch. Enoch believed God and the Bible said God took him. He believed. He believed. He believed. Paul said without faith it's impossible to please Him. He had the testimony he pleased God. How did he please God? He believed. For believing pleased Him, for without believing it's impossible. Faith, faith. Don't you want to live forever? Don't you want to live forever? If you want to live forever raise your hand. Let me see. Do you want to live forever? I want to live forever. I tell you what, that's why I'm so engrossed in this thing, and that's I'm so caught away in this thing; I want to live forever. I like this. I don't know of any place to go, anything to do, anything that would catch my interest that would replace this one thing, living for ever. Living for ever. If I make this I don't have to worry about the rest of it. Isn't that right? Now think about it right quickly. We're going to let you go, but think about it right quickly now. Who is going to possess all things? Now, listen. The man that lived yesterday and day before yesterday, but he's dead and he's not alive today, the woman that passed on last week, that's not alive today, does she possess anything? Does he possess anything? No, no. but you do because you are alive. Isn't that right? But supposing you die. Supposing you die. Then the one that's left is going to possess it. Isn't that right? But just think, if we're never going to die we are the ones that are going to possess it. All the rest of them are going to die. We're going to stay here. It's going to be ours from now on. Glory to God. I like that, don't you? It belongs to us. It's bound to cause we're going to be here. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. I want you to lift your hands with me again and I want to pray with you. Just lift your hands and your heart to God and I want to pray with you. I want you to tell God that you love me, and ask God to come into your heart. Oh, beloved friend, I want to see every one of you saved. I want to see every one of you saved. I want to see every one of you saved. I hope there's not a little one, I hope there's not a woman, man, boy or girl that's here but what he won't make heaven. I hope you haven't got a son or a daughter or mother or daddy or loved one but what he will make heaven his home. Let's pray, let's pray that they'll make it. I remember the song__ They sang that song, so beautiful is that song where it says, I'll stroll over heaven with you where all things are new. And the other song that says, I know they'll be looking for me, and they'll be so disappointed if my face they don't see. Somebody is going to be looking for you, and you're going to be looking for somebody when you get there. Oh, don't you want to see dad? Don't you want to see Mon when you get there? Don't you want to see Brother? Don't you want to see sister? Glory to God, don't you want to see the friends and neighbors and loved ones? Glory to God, embrace them again. See them and say, Oh, hallelujah! it's over, we made it. Over at last. At last. At last, it's over. Because of Him. Because of His blood. Because He cared. Oh, heavenly Father, as we pray, as we lift up holy hands without wrath against anyone, Holy Father, without doubting anything, Holy Father, as we lift up our hearts to heaven asking Thee to bless us. Asking Thee to heal. Asking Thee to help us and to forgive us. Asking Thee to endow us with the knowledge and faith of God from glory to glory. Translate us into Thy Kingdom and Thine eternal body and flesh and bone, great master of heaven, as a quickening Spirit that he that be born of the Spirit be spirit. Oh, let it be, Jesus. Let it be that thou canst say to us as the first Adam, from the dust thou art to the dust thou shall return, but let it be said of us that thou art a quickening spirit, for he that is born of spirit is spirit, God, that we be born of the second man Adam, Lord, by the washing of regeneration can we be of Him and we cannot pass away, Holy Father. Lord, be with us and heal us, save us, help us. Help us. Glory to God. Let's sing this song together, And We'll Give The Glory To Jesus.
