God's Independence Day

Wasn't much inspiration to really minister to you. Great inspiration in my heart, my cup is running over but some of you are getting more carnal and I realize why that you are getting more carnal. And if you could understand what I'm saying tonight you would know why you are getting more carnal, but you are not carnal at all as to what you are going to be in just a little while, but take my advice tonight and what you can get, get it as fast as you possibly can because something is fixing to happen. There is a number of things that I would like to talk to you about. During the camp meeting as always we will be singing and clapping our hands, praising God doing all the things we can to worship God and to inspire people and to inspire our own hearts. But I think the thing that's needed more than anything right now is God's Word. You know, I quote the scripture so often where the terms are used; Hear what the spirit has to say to the church. I think the thing that is really needful at this point, is to hear what the spirit is saying unto the church. In the fourth chapter of the Book of Revelation. I've read this many times, and I'm sure that some of you have grasped some of the things that we have tried to say about it and some of you have not. John, in the fourth chapter, the first verse; "After this I looked, and, behold a door was opened in heaven;" A door was opened in heaven. Now, you know, when you read that a door was opened in heaven, most people don't even know what you are saying. You know, when you think about opening the door to this building that's one thing. When you think about opening the door to a ship, that's something. When you think about opening the door to an airplane, that's something, but when you think, you stop and think, and you say. Lord, what did you say? What did you say, Lord? And then you look back and you hear it repeat itself and the Bible said, "Be-hold I looked a door was opened in heaven." Now, there is as we have said a number of times, a door that is open in heaven. There is a door that is open at this time into the heavenly places and into the things of God. A door that was never opened before. At Calvary there was a door that was opened. People never did see it. They never did understand it, even until our day, they still don't understand it. Even down through the years they haven't understood. And I'll have to be honest. I did not understand. For many years of serving God, I did not understand, until one day God spoke to my heart and God caught me up into the splendor and magnificence of His presence and then I was made to know what He meant when He said a door is open in heaven. A door is open in heaven. From Calvary there has been a door open in heaven. And you know, can you imagine a door being open to such a beautiful place, such a great wonderful place, and no body going in to look at it? Could you imagine God opening a door to heaven and nobody going in to see heaven? Could you imagine that? A door standing open in heaven, but nobody going in to look at heaven. You know the vision I had where I looked and in the heavens I saw these magnificent things. You know why that I saw those things in heaven? because in the vision I was suspended between heaven and earth. That is I was up here where the door was and I had gone through that great door of God and I was able to look in on the scene of heaven, and My, at the glorious things that I was beholding in heaven. I was seeing the abundance of things that was in heaven. Now for me to see those things and then for me to tell you about those things, you know it doesn't inspire you very much. Somebody would say well that's good. I hear that. I understand that, but that doesn't do anything to you, but Oh, just one glimpse. If you could just one time see the things that I saw it would do some thing to you, something that like has never been done to you before. See, there is a door that is open in that world. What does that mean to us, Brother Pike? All right, let's just talk for just a few minutes and see if we can find the door and if we can enter into the door and we can find out what's inside once we enter in to the door. Let's just talk about it a few minutes, you know. first of all, at Calvary, was that the door? In other words did the door actually open at Calvary? Is that the place that it was opened? Where is the door anyway? If the Bible said there is a door open in heaven then we know that there is a door open, but then the question is, where is that door? Now, John saw it. John saw the door. Where is that door, Lord? The door is open. I know the door is open, but God where is that door? How can I go into that door? Or how can I get into that place? If there is a door open lead me to it. Let me see the door. Show me the way to it, God. If there is a door open in heaven I want to go through it. I want to get in, Lord. I want to get out of this world. I want to get away from the sorrows and heartaches. Show me the door and let me into that place. See, there is a door that's open in heaven. Let me through there, Jesus. Was it really opened at Calvary? It was opened at Calvary? And then, when was it opened at Calvary? It was opened when the veil was rent in twain. When the veil was rent in twain that was the opened of the gateway. That was the opening of the door, when it was rent in twain, when it was rent in two. That was the opening of the door. That's why John, just a few short years later on the Isle of Patmos, looked and said, Behold, I see a door open in heaven. The reason is because he was in the spirit on the Lord's day and he was looking at the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The Bible said it was the Revelation of Jesus Christ. He was looking at it and he saw the door that was open in heaven. A door that was open in heaven, John saw it, because a few short years later, he was going back through the things of God, looking back at Calvary, and he saw this door was open in heaven. Was that the door? It was the door. Was it open? It was open. Where? At Calvary. What was it? It was the veil that was rent in twain. But you say, but, Brother Pike, you teach that the veil that was rent in twain was the Lord and the Christ, the separat- ion of the Lord and the Christ. How could that be the door? But you remember, Jesus said, I am the door to the sheepfold. I'm the door to the sheepfold. I am the way, Jesus said. There is no other way. I'm the way the truth and the life. I am the way to the Father. Now, we think about that and then we think, but Brother Pike, Jesus isn't here. If Jesus is the door, where is Jesus at? How can I go through Jesus? But, oh, If you could be spiritual tonight. If you wasn't so carnal tonight. Paul said one time, when he come into the Revelat-ion, I would like to speak unto you as unto spiritual's. If you could see tonight. If you could realize tonight that God is a spirit and that you are carnal minded. That your mind is on eating and drinking and the things of this world and you are not spiritual. You know there is nothing wrong with eating. There is nothing wrong with drinking. There is nothing wrong with building the body up to where it will be strong and healthy for God, but it's bad when that's all that you have your mind on. You know you should eat and drink for the body's sake. Isn't that right? But your mind should never be on the eating and drinking. It should be on God. Your thoughts, your worship, your desires should be Christ. It's all right to have an appetite for food. It's all right to have an appetite for drink, but your thinking, beloved friend, and your desire, your thirst, and your hunger, your spiritual awakening should, aware-ness should always be toward Christ Jesus. So then, the door is open. There is a door. What need is there for a door? If there is no door, then I can not get into the glory world. If I cannot get into the glory world, then what will happen to me? I will go to hell. That's what will happen to me. I'll burn in the lake of fire. If I can't pass through the door I will go into the lake of fire. I cannot get into the door. If I cannot get into the door then I die in the lake of fire. Do you understand what I'm saying? Now, only through Christ can I get in through the door. There is no other way. So then, there is a door that's open in heaven. There is a door that's open in heaven. You know, but today you can't show the people the door. You can't tell the people the door. You've got to do something. You've got to, got to be with the group of people and follow them and do the way they want to do, because they are not spirit-ual. They don't understand. They are not struggling. They are not striving. They are not searching. They are not doing their diligence to be hunger after the things of God, and so then, it's just about time for the door to close. Now, somebody said, well, praise God, that door is open. Beloved Friend, it's been open for many long years, but we have been a slothful people. We've been a careless people. We've been an unconcerned people. Oh, but somebody would say, but Brother Pike, the door is open. I'm not worried about it. But I'm here to tell you today that the door has been open, but this revival has to do with the door closing to, Beloved Friend. Some of you have been careless and unconcerned and didn't want it, and didn't want to listen. You'd rather eat and drink and buy and frolic and do the things of the world. And the door has been open all of this time, but it's on the verge of closing right now. You know, you can't tell people. you can't get people to listen. You say, you know, don't do this. Don't break the law, they'll put you in jail. They'll lock you up. I don't believe that, but soon they are in prison. See, you tell them the same thing, and you say, Folks, don't do that. You'll be in a spirit-ual prison. After awhile you'll have a disease. After awhile you'll be in bad shape, but that doesn't matter with them. They are to busy, to high-minded, to lifted up. They can't listen to you, and besides, through they know that you are right, they know that you are right, and they feel it and they understand it, but to follow you, to surrender to you, to honor and obey God on the in-side of you, they are not going to do that. No. They are going to work it out for themselves, you know. But let me tell you something, Friend. You've waited to late. You've waited to late. You've played around on God to long, What you should have done is got down to business with God. You should have got down to business with God. You that have played around out in the world, not listen-ing, not listening, not paying attention. God has give you a chance. God has tried to help you, but you have played around and waited too late. That's what you've done. You've played around and waited too late. America has played a-round and waited too late. The nations have waited too late. No, Brother Pike, that's not true. Yes, it is true. Somebody said No, that's not true. I've still got loved ones. I've still got to do this and I've still got to do that and God understands. God doesn't understand a bit of it. And Your loved ones, or my loved ones, or their loved ones it doesn't make any difference with God when time comes to close the door, God will close the door. Your sons goes to hell. My son goes to hell. Your mother goes to hell. All of them goes to hell. The Bible said, All nations that forget God shall be turned into hell. We've got to work with God. God is merciful. God is long suffering. God is kind. God is compassionate. God's understanding, but God don't play games. God don't set around while you sent your boy and girl to college and say I'm going to give them twelve years in college and God understands that they've got to have a good living and they've got to do this, and then when they get through with all of that, we're going to teach them to serve God. God doesn't play silly games. Let college go where it will, do what it will, but what you need to do is get right with God. Forget about college, forget about everything and get right with God. After you get right with God, if there is time to make money, make money. If there is time to go to college, if God allows it go to college. But Brothers and Sisters, The Bible said, seek ye the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We are not to put everything first. We are not to feather our nest. We are not to have our own way. We are not to blow up and have our temper and do everything we want to and mess around hour after hour and day after day and do everything we want to do and then turn around and say, well, I've decided that I better straighten up. you know, in the last few days I've had some brethren come to me and they said, Brother Pike, I'll tell you right now, Brother, I'm going to get in here with you. I thought, no, you can't get in here with me. You've waited too late. I ask you years ago to get in here with me, but you couldn't. You were too busy. You had things to do. The song said, too busy. Got to make money. Too busy, got to drive a big car. Too busy. There is a door. Thank God, there's a door that's open in heaven. It's still ajar. But there's a door that's open in heaven. Where? Calvary. Open. The door is open. In heaven the door is open. Calvary. The rending of the veil. It's been opened to the world. Jesus said, I'm the door. I'm the door. I'm the door. I'm the way. No man can get to father, but by me, Jesus said. I'm the doorway. I'm the door. There is a door that's open in heaven. Let's talk about it a little more. Let's see what He means. There's a door. There's something that's open. There's an entrance. There's a way to get in. There's a way. Why do you say Calvary, Brother Pike? The Bible said the law and the prophets were until Calvary, until John, and law and the prophets, since that time the door has been opened, since that time the kingdom has been preached, since that time, he said, the kingdom of God is at hand. Men are pressing their way into the kingdom of God. Since that time a door has been opened. Peter, here's a key to it. I've opened a door, Peter. There's a door opened in heaven. John said, I saw it. I saw this great door, That door that's open. I saw it opened and men have been pressing their way into it and this great door to the king-dom has been standing open and men have pressed forward to it and pressed their way into the kingdom of God, trying to get into the kingdom of God, try-ing their best to get into that great wonderful, marvelous kingdom of the living God. What a wonderful thing tonight. What a marvelous thought tonight. There is a door that's open in heaven. Men, those that are chosen of God, those that are righteous of God, those that are holy of God, they have been pressing their way into the kingdom, beloved Friend. Oh, let me tell you something. You that have been playing religion, you that have been playing around, don't you know you can't go through that door. The Bible said nothing unclean, nothing that defileth, nothing shall enter into that city that is unclean and unholy. you've got to clean up. you've got to be holy, for without are dogs and sorcerers and whoremongers and liars and cheats and murderers and all of these things and none of these shall enter into that city. But that door is open in heaven. That door is open in heaven. It's standing ajar. The rent veil come open and they saw the veil rent in twain and they were able to look down into the holies of holies. I spoke of it here a few night ago. They were able to look down on the inside of it. Look at Jesus. The Bible says Him being the door, the veil being rent in twain, being made a sinner, being made like unto sin, like unto corruption, though He knew no sin, but for my sake, for your sake, He was made like unto sin. And the Bible said that He had to suffer without the gates for the body of those beasts were burned without the gates. Had to go without the gates, bearing the reproach for you and for I. See, those beasts, those bodies, that was offered up, those beasts that was offered up back there, the blood was spilt to show the releasing of the blood life that had taken, the blood that had taken the life into captivity to spill that blood, that corruptible part to release that spiritual life, to let it go back to God who had given it. See, and then the body of that beast that had held it in prison, Paul said in his writings referring back to Moses' way of life, said that this beast's body had to be taken on the outside of the camp and burned without the camp. Jesus went without the camp, Golgotha without Jerusalem, without the gates of Jerusalem, suffering on the outside, had to go without the camp bearing the reproach. You know, just outside of Jerusalem, if you have ever been there, you go around and see, you see, the valley of kid-ron. You go around and there you can see the valley and you can tell where they burn the trash. They burn it. All the time, it burns, day and night. Keep a fire going day and night, which is symbolic of those things that are reject-ed from the city that's being burned up. You know, the garbage man, he comes around and he picks that which has been marred. He picks it up. He puts it on the truck. He does away with it. You know, the Lord spoke to me in California one time early in the morning. Woke me up, said I want you to watch. I want to tell you something. Way over in the morning He spoke to me. They come around early, before daylight, out there picking up the garbage. I was setting there and I thought, what are you trying to tell me God? And I was setting there and He said, Look. And I looked and before daylight they come picking up the garbage, and as they was picking the garbage up and putting it in there, I said, Lord, that's nothing but the garbage man. And the Lord said, Look and listen to what I've got to tell you. Said, I want to tell you something. He said, Son, in a house there is great vessels, and He said there are those that have been marred, those that have been bruised and those that have been broken and those that have been rejected. He said, And you see those black man coming around to pick that up. He said, They are taking that garbage, said it goes into the truck and it's crushed. He said, And it's hauled off to the dumps to go into the fire because it's rejected. Suffering without the camps, going without the camps. You know, those that God rejected, there is a great fire called hell. It's without the presence of God. It's without the camp. It's on the outside and the body of those brute beast go down into those flames be-cause they are without the camp. God doesn't accept them. They are on the out-side. They are on the outside. God doesn't have anything to do with them. See, but we who love Christ, there is a door that's outside of the camp for those beast. There is a door for them also that is called the gates of hell. But to us that love Jesus there is another door, We don't go back that way, but we go forward and the High Priest takes control and the veil is rent in twain and we pass through right into the presence of God. Hallelujah. There is Aaron with his beautiful garments, would walk right boldly into the presence of God, an-ointed with that sweet smelling aroma that typified the Holy Ghost and take those hot coals from off of the golden alter, drop them in there an that cen-sor and that perfume that every body was forbidden to make. When that aroma would come up it would cause a beautiful, misty cloud that would cover him over, the Holy Ghost covered him, the glory of God standing between him and the covering cherubims of that ark. And as he would go in there the protection of God would be with him. Going into the holies of holies. When Jesus hung at Calvary that veil was rent in twain and that High Priest, that High Priest, It wasn't a matter of just him going in any more, because He made a door. He made a way for us to where we can boldly go before the throne of God and be in the presence of Christ. Right into the very presence of the Holies of Holies, go right in because God hath rent the veil. Walk right into the presence of the living God. You know, in this world, we was talking about it the other day. There is the Old Testament and the New Testament and the Book of Revelation, and that revelation of John, that's that priesthood, that's the Holies of Holies. In that outer court of the law it's back there in the Old Testament, and in that New Testament, that's that inner court where all the preachers can come to, but when it gets into the Revelation of Jesus Christ only the High Priest can enter in there. Only the body of Christ can go in there, the chosen ones of God, Christ Himself. Bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh can enter into the Revelation of Christ Jesus, into the mind of God. Coming into that place we can rise up to man's mind or that is a beast mind. In that first court out there where they are slain, we could come on into an angelic mind that is a man's mind. You know, we can enter into that part of the mind, which is the second court, which is called the Holy place. You know, the son's of Arron, where the preacher are, where the ministry is, the five-fold ministry, but O, let me tell you something. When we come to that next level, when we get to that next level and we start into the spiritual places, into the High places of God, that's when it takes the transformating power of the Almighty God. That's the mind of Christ, Hallelujah. Entering in to the mind of Christ our Lord and Saviour. Not the first heaven, the second heaven, but the third heaven. Going right up into the very presence of the living God. Watching, looking, praying. Why? Because there has been a door open to the Gentile church. Peter took that key, and the Lord said, Peter, here's the key and he opened that door and three thousand was added unto the church. And there it was, the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. He said, repent of your sins and be bap-tized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Enter into the door for I am the door, Jesus said. And remission of sin is in none other name and it shall come to pass that whosoever calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be saved and the man said, Paul, be baptized, wash away your sins, call-ing on the name of the Lord. As many as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ, entering into the veil. That is to say, within His flesh. with-in His body, that it is no more I that live, but Him. No more me that you see but Him. Entering into the temple of God on the inside, going on the inside of His veil, on the inside of His flesh, that we might be able to see, very clea-rly see, what's going on. Entering in to that place where, when you get in there you see that great rainbow of God over the throne, elders seated around the throne, the Ancient of Days sitting there, the little golden alter. You know, in the days of Moses everything was made just exactly according to the pattern. Moses made it in the veil back over here. And when we look back there we can see it. It is so easy to look back there. When we look back in the Old Testament we see those tribes, three tribes over here to the East, and the North, the West, the South, all around the tabernacle. See, around the tabern-acle, around the ark of the covenant, and then when we come into the New Test-ament we see Peter, James, and John and the four beast still around the coven-ant, around the message, still there. And then when we come on over into the Book of Revelation we find the beast still around the throne, saying, holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. We see them there all gathered around the throne, praising God. We see the beauty of it. We was speaking today of how that in the Old Testament when somebody had sinned and somebody had done wrong, They'd come up before the priest and he'd have on the breastplate and have on the Urim and Thummim and when they'd come up before him and he'd make a test to see if they were lying, to see if it was true. You know, I've made the statement, I believe that the spirit of God which is the spirit of truth, the anointing, that's been down through the years; the Bible speaks of the prophets speaking by the Holy Ghost, thus signifying the time, I believe that God's spirit, God's presence, God's glory, would come over that person that would confess the truth. And as that glory, that Shechinah glory would flash back on that breastplate that was on that priest and in to those beautiful stones and then flash back over his head and that rainbow covenant to say it's the truth that that priest might look and say, this is the glory of God. This man bears the ark of the covenant. From out of the throne of the inner king-dom, the river of life flowing, and the twelve foundations of those precious stones hanging there upon that breastplate of the high priest, the glory of God coming out from the throne of God down the river of life, into the found-ation stones of that vesture, flashing back. That beautiful rainbow, because of that arched way of, the way that God had the thing made in it's panoramic view with the twenty-four elders sitting around, you know.........tape turned ...... you know, like it is here. Everything in this building is typical. You look around and you see them big birds setting over here near the piano, and near the organ. Then you see these things coming over my head with the dang-les. They have to do with the cherub wings and the covering of His glory. They have to do with the rainbow, because that's what the cherubs did. They went over tip to tip, over the ark of the covenant that they had in the tabernacle and the beautiful colors of their wings formed the rainbow and it has to do with the rainbow over the candlesticks that you look and see here, which is the seven spirits of God around the throne. See, and the glory of God being there and God doing something all the time. Something taking place because Christ was there. Something was taking place. The great spirit of the living God was there. The magnificence of His presence was there. His Mind was pro-trayed as it came from the throne of glory. Came down through the river of life, down through those beautiful things. How beautiful. How wonderful as we look and see these glorious things. How that God has so situated them, so fix-ed them to where everything is just perfectly in order. Not one thing missing. Everything is so perfectly in order. When we look, understand. We look up into the heavens and we see the wonderful handiwork of God. We see the beauty and magnificence of His work and we know the things that are taking place. It thrills us beyond the wildest imagination. You know, on the priest's shoulder he had what they called the Urim and the Thummim. Two little golden ouches and a great big stone setting here called the Urim and on this other one a great big stone called the Thummim, then he had in his breastplate of the twelve jewels that represented the tribes on his breastplate here and you know, Alpha and Omega setting here on the shoulder representing those two prophets and them two olive trees there and the rainbow from tip to tip, coming over. The glory of the church coming from Pentecost all the way over the church ages. You know when you see those seven angelic church messengers coming there, the seven spirits of God and the beauty of that rainbow round about that, that throne there coming over the covenant of the church ages all the way over. Co-ming from Calvary over from Jesus over to Jesus. It's so beautiful there as you look and see the beautiful colors of the rainbow. You know, you see there is really three outstanding colors and then you see five colors and then you see seven colors. See, you see the trinity in one. You see the grace of God and then you see the seven messengers. All in the rainbow. All there. The great covenant of God. The same thing that they had. The ark of the covenant. The same thing in the days of Noah. Jesus Christ, the same, yesterday, today and forever. God, Noah, the rainbow, the great big ark. Moses, the little ark of bulrush, carrying it right on down, a rainbow called the ark of the cove-nant. Right on down to even the vision that Brother Parnell saw when he said, I looked and I saw in a vision the ark of the covenant, and Brother Pike, he said, I believe it was in this building at Little Bethlehem. Said, It looked like that was the building that I saw. All the way down, but in our hearts, in our hearts, we carry the ark of the covenant of the living God. We've got it on the inside of us. Now, listen. Something, Precious Friend, is taking place. Something is happening. Here at Little Bethlehem, why has God chosen this place like this? Why is this thing taking place the way that it's taking place? Why is it for about seven years that we have gone through such an awful crisis where people, the police, everybody, the newspapers, the T.V.'s, every-body in the Islands, all across America, everywhere wanted to pounce on us and cause us trouble? Why is that? They don't do that even to a denomination that's spread all across the country side, let alone some little church that's a nobody setting over there somewhere. But why did they do that? Because they knew that the babe of Bethlehem was being born. The devil knew something was taking place. He knew that baby was being born and he wanted to kill it, and he said kill it. Kill the reputation. Kill the effects of it. Kill everything. Do anything you can. Sent the T.V.'s out. Sent the Atlanta Journal out. Sent everything out, but do something. Kill it. Kill it! But he didn't kill it, did he? Glory to God, he didn't kill it. In the days of Herod he didn't kill it. In the days of Moses he didn't kill it. It just kept on keeping on. Hallelu-jah. And the time drew nigh. Glory to God. The Bible said and the time drew nigh for the visitation of God. Hallelujah. They couldn't kill it. They ploughed through. The people have ploughed through and they sought God. See, what is it? It started. Let's just look back there for just a minute. Look back in the days gone by. Let's just consider it for just a few minutes. God working in types and shadows. The pilgrimage of the church in the veil. The historical side of it. The natural pilgrim of the natural side of life. The history recorded day after day, all the way from the civilization of Egypt, all the way from Jerusalem, all the way across the continent, all the way over to the United States. Look at it. There's a record. There's a natural histori-cal school record of it. What is it? Was life within the veil. Life within the veil. Moving. All the time moving. The land of Esau. But then when it got over on this side, what was to happen? Now listen. As long as it moved in a histor-ical thing coming from over there, it meant that it was the woman carrying the child within the womb, because it was life in the veil. God put it in the veil. In the garden from the time that Adam and Eve sinned against God, it went into that intellectual veil, that tree of knowledge and that babe, that life was in the veil. That was the breath of life from God. And that life was in the veil and the woman was carrying it. The flesh was carrying it, that historical pilgrimage and God was merciful, giving a grace from Calvary, giv-ing a grace. Something had taken place. The seed of God had gone there and Paul said, I travailed until Christ be formed within you. And I've said this so many times: To keep from marking that babe, you know, you can mark a little babe before it's born, and to keep from marking that little babe that was carried in the womb there. You remember. Elizabeth said, I felt it. I felt the babe leap in my womb. And Paul said, I travailed until Christ be formed within you. On the inside, that life. On the inside of the veil, traveling all down through the years, coming over. And then when we get over to this side of the ocean, what is it? See, it's not to be a natural historical pilgrimage. That day is over, it's not to be an educational thing. What is it? Life has been within the veil, but Friend, listen. The Christ child is formed. Oh! Glory to God! He's not a babe anymore. He knows his Father's will. He knows His desire. He knows what God wants. Coming over here. You say, but Brother Pike, a baby has got to be born. He's got to be tutored and then grow up to know the will of God. But this is a strange sort of a babe. The Bible said as quick as He was born He was caught up to the throne. A strange sort of a babe. All right. So here He is. He's come over. But what about it? All the way over, from Bethlehem to Bethlehem, all the way over, the woman carrying life. But look at it. Now. What is it? See, it's got to go back, but it can't go back in a intellectual stride. It can't go back as a historical pilgrimage. It can't go back as recorded historically in a Legislative sort of a way. It can't do that. It's got to go back as a spiritual unveiling or rending of the veil. It's got to be a birth. An opening of the matrix for the child to come forth. And it's got to be an unveiling and when it goes back it's got to be caught up from here to the throne over there. That's why that the Jews accepted J.C. You know, Jimmy Carter, Jesus Christ. That's why that they accepted him as bring-ing peace between the two. Caught up from here, God showing us a typical thing. Caught up from here. Over there as soon as the child is born. Caught up. Somebody did say, but Jimmy Carter is not a baby. You didn't see where they put him in diapers when they drawed the picture of him? You didn't see how they mocked him and said he's just a baby and didn't know nothing about the government or nothing else? But he was caught up to the throne. And he is ruling with a rod of iron. And even congress don't know what to do with him. Somebody say, I love Jesus. Foolish and abase things of the world to confound the wise. They say he ain't going to do it, but he's doing it anyhow. We'll never let him do it. But he done it anyway. God creates the good and evil, has His way in both. Put's down one. Raises up another and now let's just look at it for a minute. What is it? It's got to be out of the veil here, the spirit-ual child, the true child. Why? Because when the woman had her foot on the moon, then the baby was born. Isn't that right? America is that woman. Now, you say, that couldn't be Brother Pike, but it is. You say, Where do you get that? Let's just look at it and see. You know that she's had her feet on the moon. You know that. You know Jimmy Carter has come forth. And you see the thing that's happening. But you say, Where do you get such a thing? Look back at it and see. Look at the Catholic Church. Look back there. Just look at it historically for just a minute now. Look at it in the veil. Just look at it in the veil. Back in the old country. Look at the Mother Church back there. Look at Rome. Look at the powers of Catholicism how it dominated the world back there. Look at it. Are you listening? Look at the great beast system back there. Look at it. What happened? What was it? When the government of the United States was born, What was it? It was the man child. It was the man-child. It was a man child. You say, how do you get that Brother Pike? Just look at it for a minute and you will see it. What happened? When that child was born, what happened to America? She went into a wilderness. Isn't that right? Didn't she? Somebody did say, now wait a minute. What are you talking about? The people that come from England went into a wilderness. America was a wild-erness filled with Indians. It was a wilderness, Beloved Friend. The woman came into a wilderness. Do you follow me? You understand? Just come right on in, Folks. They'll help you to find a place here. Right there. Just look at it for a moment now. There it was. A wilderness. What happened to the woman? When the child was born the woman went into a wilderness. America was a wilderness. What happened to it? When she was brought over here something took place. Isn't that right? Something took place. Now, look at it for just a minute and see if something really took place. Look back through history just a few minutes now. And let's compare notes with the spiritual, right on over to the natural and see how it does. Look back there in the days of Washington and we will see something. Look back in the days of George Washington. When the, back there before they put him in as a president, the Nina, the Pina, the Santa Maria. You see the little ships, the voyage of Columbus. You see it back there in that day when King Ferdinand, Queen Isabella, how they set the thing in motion, and how that the three things that Columbus asked for typified Jesus. Columbus being a type of it. I brought some of it out on tape here not too long ago, of wanting a tenth of the income, be a nobleman, you remember that, and being a governor, the same thing Jesus asked for. And then look, when they got over here what took place. Now, I want you to really listen and get this down now, because it has to do with you. What is it? In 1752 here comes the big bell, here comes the big bell over. England let them have the big bell. It come over. Isn't that right? Now, some of you are familiar with history. You know what I'm speaking of. It's not foreign to you. It came over. Weighed a-bout 2000 pound. They hung it up there. Come to Philadelphia. Hung it up on a wooden rack to where they could ring it and in about 53 they began to ring it and it cracked open, melted down poured it, put it in the Hall Of Fame there. God was showing something but it was in the veil. You follow me? It wasn't but about 22 or 23 years later, about 1775 something began to take place. Washing-ton had been in the fight between the Indians and the French, got a little experience and then when Continental Congress came together, they decided to make him commander in chief. They needed a leader. What was it? God was still doing something. Washington represents the spirit of truth. He was known for being a truthful man. How many of you understand what I'm saying? He was a truthful man. In that same year, 1775, on the 18th. day of April, Paul Revere took his famous ride. Now I want you to get this. Paul, the Revelator. You understand what I'm saying? The midnight cry. The Red Coats are Coming. Are you listening? The minute men, because of the little farmers out there. They wasn't fighting men but they had to get ready to fight within a minute, a moment, the twinkling of an eye, at the midnight cry. They had to get ready. Why? Because the red dragon is coming. You understand what I'm saying? See, why is the 4th. of July coming in the middle of the week, this week, this time. Why is it? There is a purpose to it. How many of you understand what I'm saying? And there Washington took his post of duty. He fought. He fought. Crossed the Deleware at Trenton. Went over there and captured about 900 men in 45 minutes. Amazed everybody. Shook up everything. The men took courage and thought. My dear God, what a leader we've got. 900 men in 45 minutes, why we can take the world. You know, they knew something was on the move. Boy, here they'd had problems and couldn't do nothing, but they knew something was on the move and it was. You know what it was? Old Brother George Washington had been down on his prayer bones. Glory to God. He was calling on God. Was known to ride along and catch him out under a tree where he had dismounted, was praying and talking to Christ Jesus. That's the kind of Presidents we need to-day. We had a good nation. God started it. You understand what I'm saying Folks? He went over there, he won a battle. Then stood that hard winter in Valley Forge, and you know what happened. We brought it out how that the food wasn't far away but they couldn't get in for the snow and the angel of God came to him and spoke to him and said, Son of the Republic, look and learn. And Washington saw the end and he saw the great bombing and saw the great pillar of cloud, the smoke that come that apparently was the bomb. He saw America blown to pieces just exactly like the vision Brother Branham saw. Bro-ther Branham said I saw America burn to ashes. The same thing that Washington saw in the beginning William Branham saw in the end. It's the same thing and Washington said, I saw a divine intervention. Isn't that right? He didn't say it was divine. He said, it looked like it was divine to me. Said, From out of somewhere came a source of help. And it lifted them up. It intervened. It done something. And he said, The economy was saved by this divine intervention or whatever it was. And I believe it was Revelation 19, when Christ come back on the white horse. Hallelujah. He saw it. He went on from Valley Forge to York-town, had that great victory and the Revolutionary War ended. A great triumph. A great victory. It was over. He had no other desire after that because he felt like he had done his duty. You know, a man goes through life, he does what he feels he is supposes to do, Whether he's a statesman, whether he's a preacher, whether he's a contractor, whatever he is, when he has done his work he feels like that's all he's suppose to do. And he felt like he had done his work and he was through. But see, God wasn't through with him. Isn't that right? God wasn't through. God still had something going on, Friend. Still had something going on. Wasn't but just a few years later from the time that he was made commander in chief, about 14 years or something. It wasn't long be-fore they decided that that fellow knew what he was doing, that he had some-body with him that they hadn't met. That he had something that the country needed. I wish the world today could see that. I wish they could look today and see there is something Washington needs. It's not a president, but they saw he had something. Something that the nations needed. And about 1789 they decided they wanted him for a president. But after that 1775 ride back over there in Paul Revere's time, they decided to do something before they got him in office. They decided that they were going to get away from that old red dragon. Get away from that old mother harlot. Get away from that old system and a man like Hancock and Adams and Jefferson came together at the little states house. Over there at what we call the Independence Hall over in Phila-delphia, set there in 1776 and begin to write and said it's time for us to have an independency. And ole Thomas Jefferson began to write and about 56 men come up with John Hancock when he wrote that thing down with that beautiful handwrite he had and they put their, we say John Hancock, on it you know. And they got it down there and about 56 men, they wrote it down and risked their lives and put their wealth behind it. Why? They wasn't a bunch of money hogs. Somebody say I love Jesus. They wasn't looking for business and prestige. They wanted a freedom of democracy. They were men, Glory to God, and they had wives that were women. And they were after doing something for humanity. They were after having God, and they were after trying to be something for Christ Jesus and come together and have a little world of their own. You know they called this the new world. See, when they came over they called it the new world. America had to do with the millennium. The new world. There it was. So, see, the Declaration of Independence, they wrote it up. They declared their sepera-tion from the old country of England. They stood up for their independence. And then in '89 there they got him. They wanted them a president. You under-stand what I'm saying? How many of you follow me in what I'm saying. And from then until 1797 he served them. Worked for them and God did a great thing. They established a real government, a real nation, a real country. It wasn't just George Washington, but it was 56 men that put their lives down. England wanted to kill them. There's no telling what kind of bounty they had on their heads. Their lives probably wasn't worth fifteen cent as far as what could have been paid for their lives, but they said, We are standing for something. And they signed it, fearlessly. And stood by it. You know why? Because when George Washington began to fight they knew they had a leader and they wasn't afraid to stand up. And you know why Washington could stand up? He had a leader. His name was Christ Jesus. He tapped on to the heavenly waters. Praise God, and Jesus said, You drink of this water, you won't thirst anymore. Hallelujah. The deep calleth unto the deep at the water spout of God. Out of my innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. Retired and in a couple of years about 1799, December 14th, he died. He went out to meet God. But you know what? He had done his job. Done his job and everything was set in motion for a great move, a great world, a great economy, a great democracy. And men have inserted, and men have put amendments in, and men have done things to wreck and tear down and destroy until today it has come to nothing. Today it's a bunch of confusion. It's a Babylon. Nobody knows anything anymore. They fled from the old country because the taxes was so heavy they couldn't bear up under it. And here we are again and the taxes are so heavy that they can't bear up under it. Somebody brought the report the other day, seventeen of the major operations of the world didn't pay any taxes. The biggest operations. They got around it through legal means, but the little man is being bled to death. He can't get around it. He's not smart enough. He don't know. And while all the money that they should be paying to pay the taxes are taken away, that means that you and I have got to double up, and while the money hogs do away with theirs, and pardon me for my expression, while they do away with it, then the little man has to carry the cross. And you know that's true. But see, they rebelled against it. They fled away from it. They declared their independence. They laid down their lives for it. Why was it? It was God doing that. God had a George Washington waiting. He knew what he was going to do when he got them over there. He raised up Columbus. Isn't that right? God raised up Columbus. He was the one that stirred his heart to move and to challenge the deep, to brave that great unknown out there. It was God that did that. The preparation of man's heart is from God. Later brought back to die in a prison, a beautiful picture of Jesus. Isn't that right? Christopher, Christ, Columbus. Beautiful picture of Jesus having to die. Setting it in order. Bringing us to the new world by the loss of his life. Walking up on the mountain, appearing in glory, saying, here's Moses and Elijah, Peter. We've made it over, but I've got to go back. Went back to Calvary, down into the dungeon like Joseph and died but there arose the Christ. Ole Brother Washington came up on the other side. Hallelujah. And the song said, Truth is marching on. You can't stop it. It keeps moving on and on and on, because God is in His people. So then, we see the thing that took place. We see the beauty of it. An independence. On the 4th of July they wrote their independence. They introduced it. Still up there today. Still up there today. Kept as a memorial to where thousands of people view it. One of the greatest writings in the world, I suppose. But anyway they gave us a great democracy. It was God. God was in it. They escaped the red dragon, that is the red man that pounced on them back there. They escaped it. They escaped all of it. They escaped. They stood. God made them to stand. Are you listening? I'm going to close in just a few minutes. Give me a few more minutes. How many of you've got just a few more minutes? Now, there it was. It was done. Washington and Mount Vernon. Their flag went up. Their flag went up. They hoisted the flag. They raised it into the air. They declared their in-dependence. And you know what it was? The old red dragon went out. The old accuser of the Brethren. They wrote that Declaration of Independence they cut him off. Glory to God. He couldn't get in no more. They said, We are no more connected with England. We are separated from henceforth. That great dragon that caused us problems over there, he can't come to our shores unless he get's our permission. From now on we are a nation of our own. We are people of our own. And that's exactly what's happening today. That's what's happening today. Hallelujah. Glory to God. When Mary was heavy with child they had a taxing. In the days of Ceasar Augustus and they went up to be taxed, and it was a heavy taxing. Today it's back again, but the child isn't born. The woman went into the wilderness but when she had her foot on the moon the child was born, that great child that was to rule heaven and earth. That's why we are down here in Monroe, the city of seven governors, because the Bible said, And the government shall be upon His shoulder. That's why we are at this little Baby Farm, because a child was to be born. Hallelujah. And His name is called Wonderful, don't you think His name is Wonderful. Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father. We got another little Mount Vernon here on the hill side. They just took it in a few days ago. Isn't that right? Had to stretch out from Atlanta and come on out and pick up Mount Vernon. Didn't it ? Had to get it in to that metropolitan area. Why? Because something is taking place. See, there is something happening. That's why this has been, as we would say, a foolish thing. There are so many things that we could say tonight, but that's why that we've got a little currency. That is a script of our own. That's why we've done the things that we have done that's looked so foolish. That's why we have a little way of life of our own. There is some-thing to it. Over there Brother Taylor and I were talking today, we was talk-ing about the inspiration of how God spoke to him. The wings on the four beast. You know, I was speaking the other night about the wings and how that each one of them had their six wings. The twenty-four elders, representing the twenty-four elders around the throne there. We spoke about it. About these beasts having to do with Israel, the twenty-four elders ....Tape changed ..... what I'm saying? We have here, not by chance, but we have twenty-four elders. That's what we instigated. That's what we put in order here. That's the way we set it up here. There is so much that we could say about it tonight. We are not going to do it. We're going to let you go. But there is so much. We're just getting started. But I just barely wanted to touch on it to tie it to-gether tonight, to let you know where we are at. Look at the picture. Here we are. Here we are. Where are we? Will you give me just a minute or two more and I'll close. I promise you I'll try to close. You say Brother Pike, what has that got to do with the door? The dor was opened. The door was opened. The little Nina, Pina, Santa Maria. That was a little trinity. Had to have that to bring it on over. But George Washington was their leader. Do you understand what I'm saying? How many of you understand what I'm saying? See, a door. It was a door that was opened. A door that was opened in heaven. This has been a land of milk and honey. There is a door. Right at this time, this fourth of July, it's the independence. The fire works. I had a vision the other night. I was on my knees praying and I looked and I looked, and we were off in the distance about like we are now and about like Atlanta. It seemed a little closer. I could see it real, real vivid like and I saw the great big sky scrapers. I saw the great big buildings that I know are in Atlanta. I've seen them and I saw them on fire and I saw the blast. I saw the bombs blow them up. I saw them blaze up and the blazes were great and I was made to know that everything was on it's way. I saw the blast reach way up into the heavens as the big buildings crumbled. See, the days of the Gentiles are at an end. The door is fixing to close. It's been open all these many years, from Calvary, but it's fixing to close, Beloved Friend. The days of the gentiles are finished. Oh, somebody did say, now, Brother Pike, you don't have a right to say that. Why don't I have a right to say that? Somebody did say, well, you don't know. The Bible said, we've got an unction from the Holy one. We know all things. What my Father has made known unto me, I've made known unto you, Brother Pike. Somebody say, I love Jesus. Said, it didn't say it like that. The Bible said, All that my Father has made known unto me, I've made known unto you. Is that right? He said, You'll know when it's nigh, even at the door. I tell you it's even at the door and that door is closing. Brother Arthur hung that door yesterday. Now listen. He hung that door yesterday. Well, what's that got to do with it? Well, just another one of them foolish things. You remember that vault coming from California. I spoke of Brother Branham. You remember the experience with Fort Knox, Kentucky, when I had to get Washington stirred up. Had to do with George, Jr. and the gold moving and the different things. You remember that. You say, well, that was just a coin-cidence. Well, look at the coincidence that happened yesterday. About the time that the coincidence was happening yesterday and Brother Arthur was putting that door up with the lock, getting ready to close and I said it was the independence, here come Willie with another coincidence. How many of you remember Willie coming in with that coincidence. Out of all the things that Willie could have brought, not knowing, not thinking, just being a man, just inspired to do something brought me the Declaration of Independence. Why in the world would he do that? And put it in the Little states house. He brought it over. Why would he bring it yesterday? Because those doors had to do with the locking out of the Gentiles. When the door of the Gentiles is closed the red dragon goes off. Goes out. That's the cutting off of the old mother coun-try. Do you follow me? That old mother flesh. That old law that we've been under. That old intellectual reasoning. That's the end of her. Do you follow me? And it's the beginning of our independence. It's the beginning of that which Jesus wrote when He said, I will take out the heart of stone and write my laws upon the table of your heart. Hallelujah. No more. No more of the old natural legislation, but I'll take the heart of stone out and I'll write it on the table of your heart. He wrote my independence, and the Bible said, they shall wear out the saints of God and the saints of God shall rise and take the kingdom and possess it forever and ever and somebody would say, Well, Brother Pike, what do you mean by that? I don't just mean the kingdom of God. We've got the kingdom of God on the inside but the Bible said, in the Book of Reve-lation, and I'm talking about the Revelation of Jesus Christ. When John saw the dragon go out, the Bible immediately stated, now is come power, now is come authority, now is come the independence. Are you listening to me? Now is come. How many of you understand what I'm saying now? Now is come the power for the accuser of the Brother has been cast out. The one that accused them night and day. Cut off. That old blood line. That old life line of blood life cut out. No more mother. No more Mother. No more, Jesus said, not my mother anymore. My mother is new Jerusalem, Paul said. You understand what I'm say-ing? That spiritual life. That spiritual life. Cut off from that old blood life, that old mother flesh, cut off. That old red dragon. Cut off from that old thing there that causes death and corruption, but an independence, a sepa-ration. A separation. God brought it. You know they believe in separation of state and church over here. Isn't that right? You know why? Because that was a state back over yonder. Rome and England that was a country, that was a state work. They made this a church work over here. And then they finally had to get around to separating us over here. Isn't that right? But you know, I praise God for one thing. God don't separate the church and state, He puts them to-gether. See, the body without the spirit is dead and the church is the spirit. Isn't that right? And the state is the body. Isn't that right? And what God said was not just the kingdom of God within us, but said the saints shall rise and take the kingdom. And the voice said, And the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever. All right. That's where we are at today. That's why the flag went up there awhile ago when we rolled in. That's where we are at. Oh, somebody says, you are crazy, Brother Pike. They said, Paul, too much learning has made you mad. He said, it's just a revelation. That's all. Just a Revelation. Something is taking place. Something has taken place. Now we could say a whole lot, but there is one thing about it. Those doors are not locked yet, but they are up. Now, he may have to tinker around with them a little bit. He might have to take them off the hinge, but he's got the locks in them, Friend. Something is about to take place. All right. There are so many more things that I've got on my mind that I'd like to say to you, but I had better not say them tonight. I want you to stand with me. I appreciate your kindness. I love you. I appre-ciate you. You can be sure that something is on it's way. The song said, the answer is on it's way. I believe it. Jesus said it. I believe. And it's so. There has been a door open in heaven for a long time and John said, when I saw this door open in heaven, he said, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, said a voice said, Come up hither. I wish we could really go into those spiritual ties tonight, but we'd have to be spiritual for those things. I just wish we could. It is so beautiful and so lovely, Beloved Friends. It is so fasinat-ing. Oh, Brother Pike, you don't think a little nobody like you is going to stand up and declare the world to be at an end. I'm afraid so. I'm afraid so. It wouldn't be foolish if it wasn't somebody like me. Oh, well, I can't be-lieve that. Well he'll make a believer out of you. Just give him a little bit more time. You say, but Brother Pike, why didn't he use somebody like Billy Graham. Cause everybody would have believe him. See, if he had said it they would have said, Oh, you better get ready. Billy said here she comes. And he knew they wouldn't believe me. Say, but don't God want them to believe? No. He don't want them to believe, because he said, I'll come in an hour that you think not. He knows the righteous is going to believe it anyway. Them others He ain't wanting to believe it. The Bible said He'll let the trumpet give an uncertain sound so they can't prepare themselves for the battle. He don't want them to be ready cause He's coming to cut them asunder and appoint them their part with the hypocrite. There will be weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. He don't want them to be ready. He wanted them to repent of their sins and get ready through salvation. He wanted them to do that, but since they didn't choose Him and wanted none of Him, the Bible said that I will laugh at your calamity. I will mock when your fear comes. Isn't that right? The old church rules ain't good enough, Brother Pike. I don't see why I got to do what you say do. Why should my wife dress the way you feel she ought to dress and my children dress the way you think they ought to be dressed? Do the things that you think they ought to do? It ain't what I think, Folks. That's what the Book says. and I was just sent to tell you what the Book says. That's all. You know, the judge, he ain't up there to tell you what he thinks. He's just tell-ing you what the Book says. I talked to a judge one time. Talked to some people and I found out something. A judge has got, you've heard me say this, about two or three laws, and when a case comes up before him, he's got about three options. He can go, maybe one or two ways. Some of them offer a little leniently. Some of them don't, but as far as changing the law he has no power to do that. He's just a judge. That's all. Did you know that God, Himself, cannot change His law? He cannot change His Word? You say, why can't God change His Word? Because the Bible said, not being able to swear by any greater, He swear by Himself. And confirmed it with an oath and bound His own self, Him own self, to His Word that you might rest with a sure consolation that there wouldn't be any alteration in case the devil tried to trouble you. God who cannot lie swore with an oath saying, You are not able to swear, be-cause you cannot make one hair black nor white. You can't add one cubit to your stature, but I can swear, He said, cause I can do it or undo it. And the Bible said He swear by Himself because He could swear by no greater. Saying, Blessing I will bless thee and multiplying I will multiply thee. Therefore, Paul said, we can rest with a sure hope, having a more sure word of prophecy. Let's sing a little chorus together. Can we? We could start tomorrow morning or we could wait until Wednesday. I think what we'll do, I think we'll wait until Wednesday to start having our morning service to give some of our fel-lows a little break because they didn't know that camp meeting was going to start on a Monday of this week and some of the others will be looking for it to start Wednesday, cause we usually always start right on the 4th, but this is the week of the 4th, so we'll just have service tomorrow night and then Tuesday night and then Wednesday morning. We can start having it Wednesday morning and Wednesday night. What time do we usually have it? O.K. we'll have it, I would think 10 O'clock would be---10 O' clock then Wednesday morning we'll start our morning services. That will give you a little break between now and then to kinda get everything squared away in that you didn't know. So, now, I want you come back, Folks, to service. There will be men ministering to you and telling you about the great things of God. You've got a little change now. You better run for your life and do something as quick as you know how to do it. Just as quick as you can, do something. Don't take any chance. Hurry. Hurry. Hurry. Let's sing a little chorus together and we will. - - - Paul was wanting us to dedicate his little one. I believe this is Sister Lynn's mother back here. Isn't this your mother? I believe this is the first time you have ever been with us. Is it Mrs. Dornish? Third time. Well, praise God. That's wonderful, isn't it? All right. we are so glad to have her here with us. We appreciate so much her coming up and being with us. She is a very fine person and so is the Dad. He is a very fine man, too. Let's sing this little chorus together and then we'll dedicate the little one. Appreciate having these people over here, too. Right near Claudia. Do you know these people, Claudia? Could you talk a little louder. Well, we are certainly glad to have you folks here with us. Appreciate so much you coming out and being with us. Appreciate these people coming out to be with us. If you are here tonight and we didn't see you, didn't acknowledge you I want you to know that we are certainly glad to have you here and, Folks, ----- Oh, yes, right here, in front of Bobby here. Could you tell us your name, Brother? Dale Clark. Dale, have you ever been here before? Where are you from? Conyers? Brother Franklin? Well, we are certainly glad to have you over here. Appreciate having these folks come over. Maybe it'll stir some of those other folks up. Tell them to come over and be neighbors. Really appreciate you folks coming out to be with us. Brother Franklin is a fine man. I guess he works about as hard as anybody I know at the ministry. O.K. If you here tonight and I didn't see you, I want you to know that we love you and appreciate you. May the Lord bless you and help you. I'm looking forward to you being out with us. We are looking for a real won-derful meeting in Church. I believe we are going to have it. And something is happening, Friend. This is the greatest opportunity that the world, the church world now, has ever known. But woe woe, woe, be unto those that are without. Let's sing this chorus together. (Singing) Can you sing it with me? (Singing) Do you really believe that there is? (Singing.) Sing it one more time now. (Singing) Now then, this little fellow has got his little eye just wide open. I mean he's just looking every where. Looks like he's just jam filled with life. Just as pretty as it can be. We want to pray for it, dedi- cate it to God, and as we pray let's keep our minds right on Jesus tonight. Can you? What did you name it, Paul? Laura Carol. All right, let's just pray together as we dedicate it. Precious, Wonderful, Heavenly Father, Lord, we are thankful for this little child tonight. Lord, we are so grateful that it is well and healthy. Knowing all of the sorrows and heartaches there is and children that are afflicted in the world today, I'm so thankful that you would spare Paul and his wife the grief. O, Dear God, tonight even as thou hast given it unto them, they give it unto thee, O God. Lord, they dedicate it to thee tonight, for you to have it, to watch over it. Father, whenever it's hungry through it's life time, feed it. Clothe it whenever it's in need, to stand by it, Father, to see that it has the very best. Make it's enemies be thine enemies, O God. Move the fears, Lord, when bewilderments of life come, Lord Jesus, let the radiance of your light come into it's little heart. Fat- her, drive back the dark night and clouds of fear. Lord God, be with it. In every instance of life watch over it. Father, help Paul and the wife to bring it up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Bless it. Bless them. We ask you to prosper them. In Jesus Name. Amen. Praise God. I tell you it's so won- derful. The Bible said that children, they are an heritage from the Lord. Tha- t's a gift from God. Now, you say, Brother Pike, how do you know that children are a gift from God? Well, I'll tell you what. You try to get a child from another source. I never heard of one coming from another source. Have you? He's the only one that can produce them. So, it must be an heritage from God. Can we sing another chorus and then we'll let you go. (Singing) Sing it with me. Now sing it like this. (Singing) Now, I want you to bow your heads with me. Now, tonight, if it's not right with you and Jesus, I want you to just from within your heart tonight. I want you say, Jesus, maybe I've been careless, and maybe I've been unconcerned, Lord, and maybe I haven't been concerned about your desire as to how I should be, what I should do and what I should look like through life. Maybe I really have been careless. You know, maybe I haven't considered you enough and maybe time really is running out. Maybe the preacher does have some kind of insight. Maybe he has seen some- thing. I don't know. Maybe he has. You know, after all, if preachers spend all of their life with God, It stands to reason that they might. And just say, Lord, I want you to help me. I want you to forgive me. If I've been careless, and if I have overlooked, not willfully, but just neglectfully, Holy Father, be kind and merciful to me and forgive me, and I'll do something about it Jesus. I'll be so careful to do something about it. God wants to help you tonight, Friend, He's not harsh. He's not mean. He's loving, and kind, and sweet and thoughtful. But remember, when the Lord stirs up His wrath, nothing can change it. He said, Beware ye that forget God lest I tear you into pieces. All nations that forget God shall be turned into hell. America is a great nation but she has forgotten God. You know she has forgotten God. Preachers are pleading but the world has forgotten God. I don't want to see people go to hell. God doesn't want to see people go to hell. Jesus gave His blood at Calvary to keep you from going to hell. He doesn't want you to go to hell, Friend. The Bible said God hath no pleasure in the death of the wicked. He'd rather that the wicked would repent and turn away from their sins, so that He could save them. So give Him a chance tonight. Call on Him tonight. Call upon His loving name tonight and ask Him to help you. Will you do that? Will you do that? Will you do that? I want to sing one more chorus and as we sing it I'd like for you to just call on Him out of your heart tonight. And it shall come to pass that whosoever calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be save. (Singing) Can you Praise Him?
