After Calvary

Let *me talk with *you just a little bit. A number of nights that I have come *here and talked with *you, and truthfully from *my heart, those number of nights I've come *here, I've looked *to find somebody else in the *Spirit *to minister, because night after night I've sought *to find somebody else, even tonight. But somehow or another, the *Lord has seen fit for *me *to talk with *you and inspired *me. And tonight I definitely am not trying *to get out of *my responsibilities or duties, but I was looking for some *brother tonight *to minister *to *us and the *Lord has lead *me into something when I saw that I couldn't find anybody.

I want *you *to turn over into the book of Kings. We just come together and we talk a little bit. We don't try *to build up anything or manufacture anything, we just let the *Spirit bless *us, give *us peace and rest, contentment, and relaxation, take away our tenseness and just try *to enter into *His *Spirit and into *His desire and into the rest of the *Lord. *There is a rest, the Bible says. *There remainth therefore a rest for *God's people, and seeing that they that came out of Egypt, that walked with Christ in the wilderness - that is, the rock that followed them was Christ - those did not enter into *His rest. *He sware that because they would not follow the leadership of them that *He had ordained, and because they murmured against Moses, and because they *were altogether contrary *to *God and *His way of *life, and desired the things of the world and turned back into Egypt in *their heart after *He had brought them out; kept looking back at the natural things of *life, the Bible says *He sware in *His wrath. *He got upset. *He got disturbed and *He sware that they should not enter into *His rest. And *He cut them off. *He never let them go into Canaan. *He cut them off. And raised up Joshua and raised up a new group of people and took them into Canaan. It even went ill with Moses for the sake of the people. Even *he couldn't enter in.

I think about our *Brother Branham. Truthfully, *Brother Branham was caught up and saw the vision. Caught up beyond the *veil as Moses. Looked from the mountain top and looked on the inside and saw the *great things. *He *said *he saw the ladies with the long dresses and the beauty of that which was *to come in the next dimension following *his decease. But *he didn't get *to go in. It went ill with *him as it was with Moses for the sake of the people, though *Brother Branham was bordering on the translation. *He was bordering on it, already *his countenance had began *to glow. They have taken pictures where the *light was glowing through *him like Moses because *he was symbolic of Moses. The *Lord said, "As I was with Moses, I'll be with *you." Gave *him a gift *to deliver the people out of Egypt, that is *to get them out of the world. And *he caught *their attention by mighty signs and *wonders and led them out of the world, only *to lead them into a denominational wilderness that they kept *wondering in until the day of *his death. *He never intended that, but that's the way it sprang up after they turned away from the world and began *to turn *to *God. They got into a denominational wilderness and *wondered in a ritualistic circle of murmurings and complainings against the ministry and against *Brother Branham until finally the *Lord took *him and let them all die in the wilderness out *there. They've all begun *to wear mini-skirts and *their *light has gone out, and begun *to dress in tight form fitting pants, and go *to the beaches, and frolic, and gamble, and drink, dance, and do everything of the world. They've *wondered around until they died.

And now *God is raising up a new move. A new move is coming forth; these are going on into the Canaan land. These are going *to *set up the millennium. These are going *to do what *God wanted done before. It is such a beautiful thing. *It's such a wonderful thing that's taking place. I'm really excited about it and perhaps *you're not, but I am. I'm very excited. I'm tired in *my body. I'm weary in many ways, but not in well doing. The Bible says, "In due season, we'd reap if we faint not."

I don't know what the *Lord will say tonight. I don't know that *He'd say anything. *He usually does. But if we can get into the mind of *God, I believe through this broken feeble utterance of *my *own state of being, that *God will speak. The Bible says, "*It's not *you that speakth, but the *heavenly *Father," and I believe the divine mind of *God, that David referred *to as the pure mind which is in our heart, I believe it will come *to *life and I believe it will project *itself through the human intelligence or mental faculties that *He has placed within *my body and that *God will speak *to *you through an oral expression as we stand *here tonight as the temple of *God. If we will believe and if we will desire *God, *God will come *to *us. Whether it be *Brother Pike up *here ministering or whether it be *Brother Taylor or *Brother Gary, or whoever it is, we are the temples of *God. And that *Holy *Ghost *God lives on the inside of *us. And if we desire *God with all of our heart, then *He will come nigh unto *us. If we believe, really believe. *You know, we get into a state of make believe, we get into a state of something that's not reality. Like we watch television and we see something over and over and the devil seeks *to get *us into an unreal state of mind. A state that's not a state of reality. And we find ourselves believing, but it is just a human or intellectual believing. *It's nothing more than just a brainstorm, as we say. But *God wants *us *to believe from our heart. That's faith. Faith is nothing less or more than believing from the heart. That's what faith is. If *you don't understand faith, *you don't know how *to use faith and *you want *to use faith and *you just don't know how *to define faith, the most simple terms that I could use - *there are a lot of things I could say about it in expressing it, a lot of things I have *said in the past concerning it - but the most simple terminology or expression for it is *it's just simple heart faith. It is the condition of the heart. And when *you get *to where *your heart believes and *you convince *your heart - John *said we do the things that please *Him hereby we convince our heart, then do we have confidence - that is faith toward *God, and we receive of *God what we ask because we know that *He hears *us in that we do the things that please *Him. That same heart believing can raise the dead, open the blind eyes, and unstop the deaf ears, make the lame walk, or *to bring in a new world exactly as it is doing right *here. It can do all of that. It can bring the translation. That's how Enoch was translated, by faith in *word and the *church is going *to be translated by faith in the *Word.

That's why we've got *to have the *Revelation of Jesus Christ. The secrets of *God, the mysteries of *God. I say this again, the *Gospel is a forerunner of the mysteries. The *gospel is given for the simple purpose of repentance and being baptized in *Jesus' name and filled with the *Spirit, but the Bible says it is not given unto the world *to know the mysteries. It is given unto them *to *hear the *gospel. Yes, that's true. But not *to know the mysteries, because the mysteries hold the translating faith of the seven thunders that will translate the *church, and it is not given *to the world *to know that. Peter said, "Why is it *Lord *you speak *to them in parables?" He said, "For it is not given unto them *to know the mysteries of the *kingdom of *God, but unto *you it is given."

So then, *there is something *He has reserved for *us. The best wine until the last, *to drive out the world as it was with Joseph when the Egyptians went out, in that the world is nothing more than Egyptians. They sprang from the civilization of Egypt, and already they are turning back *to *their origin; whereas, we come from the Jews and we are already going back *to the Jews, being spiritual Jews our origin, the *truth in *gospel. Joseph put out the Egyptians and then turned and received *his *own kindred and *his *brethren, signifying that the *church revival *to the world was over, that the revival *to the Egyptian *age was over and *God was turning back *to the Jews. And so it is. The *Lord is doing that for *us *here as *He shuts them out with the *gospel and brings it as judgment against them because they did not believe it. *He brings in the mysteries and cuts *us off taking *us within the *veil *to make *himself known as Joseph *to *his *brethren, that we might receive *Him, and be where *He is.

If *you've got *your Bibles I want *you *to turn over with *me *to the 17th chapter of the Book of I Kings. Now, just let's read a little bit tonight and let's talk and just see if the *Lord will say something *to us.

First Kings 17:1-24: "And Elijah the Tishbite, *who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, *said unto Ahab, As the *LORD *God of Israel liveth, before *whom I stand, *there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according *to *my *word. And the *word of the *LORD came unto *him, saying, Get *thee hence, and turn *thee eastward, and hide *thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that *thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens *to feed *thee *there. So *he went and did according unto the *word of the *LORD: for *he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought *him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and *he drank of the brook. And it came *to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because *there had been no rain in the land. And the *word of the *LORD came unto *him, saying, Arise, get *thee *to Zarephath, which belongeth *to Zidon, and dwell *there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman *there *to sustain *thee. So *he arose and went *to Zarephath. And when *he came *to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was *there gathering of sticks: and *he called *to *her, and *said, Fetch *me, I pray *thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as *she was going *to fetch it, *he called *to *her, and *said, Bring *me, I pray *thee, a morsel of bread in *thine hand. And *she *said, As the *LORD *thy *God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering *two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for *me and *my *son, that we may eat it, and die. And Elijah *said unto *her, Fear not; go and do as *thou hast *said: but make *me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto *me, and after make for *thee and for *thy *son. For thus saith the *LORD *God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the *LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And *she went and did according *to the saying of Elijah: and *she, and *he, and *her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according *to the *word of the *LORD, which *he spake by Elijah. And it came *to pass after these things, that the *son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and *his sickness was so sore, that *there was no *breath left in *him. And *she *said unto Elijah, What have I *to do with *thee, O *thou man of *God? art *thou come unto *me *to call *my sin *to remembrance, and *to slay *my *son? And *he *said unto *her, Give *me *thy *son. And *he took *him out of *her bosom, and carried *him up into a loft, where *he abode, and laid *him upon *his *own bed. And *he cried unto the *LORD, and *said, O *LORD *my *God, hast *thou also brought evil upon the widow with *whom I sojourn, by slaying *her *son? And *he stretched *himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the *LORD, and *said, O *LORD *my *God, I pray *thee, let this child's soul come into *him again. And the *LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into *him again, and *he revived. And Elijah took the child, and brought *him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered *him unto *his mother: and Elijah *said, See, *thy *son liveth. And the woman *said *to Elijah, Now by this I know that *thou art a man of *God, and that the *word of the *LORD in *thy mouth is *truth."

First Kings 18:1-46: "And it came *to pass after many days, that the *word of the *LORD came *to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew *thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth. And Elijah went *to shew *himself unto Ahab. And *there was a sore famine in Samaria. And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of *his house. (Now Obadiah feared the *LORD greatly: For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the *LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.) And Ahab *said unto Obadiah, Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and unto all brooks: peradventure we may find grass *to save the horses and mules alive, that we *lose not all the beasts. So they divided the land between them *to pass throughout it: Ahab went *one way by *himself, and Obadiah went another way by *himself. And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met *him: and *he knew *him, and fell on *his face, and *said, Art *thou that *my *lord Elijah? And *he answered *him, I am: go, tell *thy *lord, Behold, Elijah is *here. And *he *said, What have I sinned, that *thou wouldest deliver *thy servant into the hand of Ahab, *to slay *me? As the *LORD *thy *God liveth, *there is no nation or *kingdom, whither *my *lord hath not sent *to seek *thee: and when they *said, *He is not *there; *he took an oath of the *kingdom and nation, that they found *thee not. And now *thou sayest, Go, tell *thy *lord, Behold, Elijah is *here. And it shall come *to pass, as soon as I am gone from *thee, that the *Spirit of the *LORD shall carry *thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and *he cannot find *thee, *he shall slay *me: but I *thy servant fear the *LORD from *my youth. Was it not told *my *lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the *LORD, how I hid an hundred men of the LORD'S prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water? And now *thou sayest, Go, tell *thy *lord, Behold, Elijah is *here: and *he shall slay *me. And Elijah *said, As the *LORD of hosts liveth, before *whom I stand, I will surely shew *myself unto *him *to day. So Obadiah went *to meet Ahab, and told *him: and Ahab went *to meet Elijah. And it came *to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab *said unto *him, Art *thou *he that troubleth Israel? And *he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but *thou, and *thy father's house, in that *ye have forsaken the commandments of the *LORD, and *thou hast followed Baalim. Now therefore send, and gather *to *me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table. So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. And Elijah came unto all the people, and *said, How long halt *ye between *two opinions? if the *LORD be *God, follow *him: but if Baal, then follow *him. And the people answered *him not a *word. Then *said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the *LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men. Let them therefore give *us *two bullocks; and let them choose *one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: And call *ye on the name of *your *gods, and I will call on the name of the *LORD: and the *God that answereth by fire, let *him be *God. And all the people answered and *said, It is well spoken. And Elijah *said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose *you *one bullock for *yourselves, and dress it first; for *ye are many; and call on the name of *your *gods, but put no fire under. And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, *hear *us. But *there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made. And it came *to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and *said, Cry aloud: for *he is a *god; either *he is talking, or *he is pursuing, or *he is in a journey, or peradventure *he sleepeth, and must be awaked. And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after *their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. And it came *to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that *there was neither voice, nor any *to answer, nor any that regarded. And Elijah *said unto all the people, Come near unto *me. And all the people came near unto *him. And *he repaired the altar of the *LORD that was broken down. And Elijah took twelve stones, according *to the number of the tribes of the *sons of Jacob, unto *whom the *word of the *LORD came, saying, Israel shall be *thy name: And with the stones *he built an altar in the name of the *LORD: and *he made a trench about the altar, as *great as would contain *two measures of seed. And *he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid *him on the wood, and *said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. And *he *said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And *he *said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. And the water ran round about the altar; and *he filled the trench also with water. And it came *to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and *said, *LORD *God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that *thou art *God in Israel, and that I am *thy servant, and that I have done all these things at *thy *word. *Hear *me, O *LORD, *hear *me, that this people may know that *thou art the *LORD *God, and that *thou hast turned *their heart back again. Then the fire of the *LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on *their faces: and they *said, The *LORD, *he is the *God; the *LORD, *he is the *God. And Elijah *said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not *one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down *to the brook Kishon, and slew them *there. And Elijah *said unto Ahab, Get *thee up, eat and drink; for *there is a sound of abundance of rain. So Ahab went up *to eat and *to drink. And Elijah went up *to the top of Carmel; and *he cast *himself down upon the earth, and put *his face between *his knees, And *said *to *his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And *he went up, and looked, and *said, *There is nothing. And *he *said, Go again seven times. And it came *to pass at the seventh time, that *he *said, Behold, *there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And *he *said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare *thy chariot, and get *thee down, that the rain stop *thee not. And it came *to pass in the mean while, that the *heaven was black with clouds and wind, and *there was a *great rain. And Ahab rode, and went *to Jezreel. And the hand of the *LORD was on Elijah; and *he girded up *his loins, and ran before Ahab *to the entrance of Jezreel."

That's reading an awful lot *here. Sometimes I read a chapter, but maybe not this much. But I wanted *to read a good little bit *here. It is *two chapters of reading and I want *to just take *my time and talk with *you just a few minutes *to relate a few little things that's taking place. First of all, the Bible says that *there came a drought. *There came a long spell without any water. Everything was doing fine. The rain of *heaven was coming down. Everybody was satisfied. Everybody was being fed. *There wasn't any problem. But all of a sudden, it just seemed that the *heavens closed up and nobody could find any water any more. It seemed like everything had stopped, and then everybody began *to *wander *to and fro. We made the statement *here a long time back, I *said that *Brother William Branham will come out of the desert about the year of'66 along in *there and then *his ministry will be over; whereas it happened exactly like the *Lord showed *me it would happen, even *to the death that was shown *to *me in Florida. It happened. And then after that *there was *to be a *great drought that was *to *set in. *Brother Branham had been in the desert. *There was *to be a *great spiritual drought that was *to *set in, and sure enough it happened. Everywhere, it looked like that the waters of *God began *to fail. And after *Brother Branham went off the scene it seemed like the churches began *to dry up. And it seemed like all of the evangelists began *to peddle everything from handkerchiefs *to shoe strings, so *to speak. And it looked like that people *were just running everywhere. I had evangelist after evangelist come *to *me in the last few years and they said, "*Brother Pike, what's taking place?" They said, "We just don't understand it." And everything seemed *to be drying up, and then the Bible says, "After this *great drought, after three and a half years of this *great drought, that all of a sudden the *heavens gave forth rain."

Now, I really see something *here tonight. First of all, Elijah prayed. *He prayed that *God would hold back the water because the *church world had become wicked. It had turned into a Jezebel, so *to speak. The day of Elijah had become a terrible day and Jezebel had come on the scene, and *she had everything under *her control and *she was ruling everything. Everything was according *to the way *she wanted it *to be. And old Ahab was just *sitting up, taking it easy, and Jezebel, *she was pulling the strings and the whole nation had fell into the hands of an idolatrous woman. I spoke of it *here *one night, that *she was a woman that was out of a vile country and a vile people and even *her *own daddy was a murderer. *She had gotten into Israel and married into this place and become the leading woman and had taken the thing over. Just like the *church world of today, it seems like today the whole *church world has gone Jezebel. They have turned themselves into a bunch of Jezebels and the *church is more interested in the new frocks on Easter than the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The *great problem was that *there was not water from *heaven because Jezebel had taken over.

It is a true fact that *there has been no spiritual moving among the people because Jezebel has taken over; whereas a few years ago, *there was a *great moving among the people. The waters *were troubled, people *were being saved. People *were being healed and people *were being delivered. I'd *hear people say, "The same thing is happening now." You can't find it now. I traveled across the nation, I go *to the big tents, I go *to the different places, *it's just a show that they are putting on. Something is taking place.

There was a *great drought *set in. Why? Because Elijah called for a *great drought. Elijah said, "According *to *my *word," *he said, "*there won't be any rain." And *there wasn't any rain for the space of three years and six months. I didn't rain. Why? Because *he called for a tribulation. *He called for a period of drought, something upon the people something that was *to stir the people up. Something that was *to snap them *to attention. Something *to wake them up, like those tornadoes that hit. I was something *to stir up the nation. *He called for something. And something began *to take place. And for a long time *there wasn't any water. But then *there came a day after all of the sufferings, after all of the misery, after everything was over, that same *great *God, after several long years began *to move again. The *Spirit began *to come into the earth again. And the *Spirit began *to say, "Elijah." Again, *God began *to talk again after the *great drought *there was a *great thing that began *to take place.

You remember the vision I had of the *great drought that I *said would hit and everything turned *to powder? *You remember the vision while I was standing out, it seemed, in the West, in the dusty area, when the *spirit of Elijah came on *us in the vision? *You remember the vision we had, how that the thing happened when *Brother Taylor and I was out West and when we came *to the *Great Divide that had *to do with those *great tornadoes that started striking the earth? Something was taking place.

It was after the drought that the *Spirit of *God began *to come back in the earth. And the *Spirit of *God began *to call for the same Elijah that walked the earth before. The same Elijah that was *there before, that had hid away and at a certain time *he began *to speak *to *him again. And *He *said *to Elijah, *He said, "Go tell Jezebel and Ahab that it is going *to rain," that *there is going *to be a move of *God in the earth. that something is coming up. Somebody would say, "But *Brother Pike, it is so dead. Everything is so dry." But I *said *here awhile back, not *too long ago, I said, "Watch and see if the *Spirit of *God don't begin *to move." I said, "See if the evangelists begin *to rally again." And people begin *to get up and start being stirred again. And men begin *to try *to pull out of it again. Even Billy Graham. We made a prediction that the end of *his ministry was at hand, and immediately *he published a piece in the paper of how that *he has had *two more meetings and was going *to close out. Then I made the statement, I said, "Watch *him try *to make a comeback." He and Oral Roberts, both. And I found out that Oral Roberts had made the statement that if *he knew that what *he had done was going *to leave the impression upon the *church world that it did, that *he would have never done the thing that *he done. In other *words, trying *to make a comeback. And even Billy Graham is trying *to do the same thing. Those men are trying *to come back and get back on the field. Even our *sister *here, *her *brother that had come off the field, that had been under the tent for many years, all of a sudden began *to move out from the *Church of *God and tried *to carry on evangelistic work again among the people out around the country. Because the thing was *to start back.

The thing was *to come back, but Moses died in the wilderness. Moses saw it. Moses went up *to the top of the mountain. Moses saw it. Those people saw it. The *church world can see it. But *brother, they sinned against *God, and *God has cut them off in the wilderness of *their carnal mind and they will never be able *to be in the move of *God that is coming up now. *God has got a people and this people is a special people. A lot of people say, "Well, I don't believe *there are any special people." But *God said, "I will bring forth *my mighty army, saith the *Lord." He said, "So *great a people that has never been upon the face of the earth before." Somebody would say, "Well, I challenge that." Well, that's all right. I accept the challenge. Let *me tell *you right *here. If *you can show *me a people that has ever been on the face of the earth since the days of the *garden that had the *knowledge of *God in them and the *revelation of Jesus Christ in them, that lived a *holy *life, that was manifested as *sons and daughters of *God, I'd love *to see it. I'd love *to know where the passage of Scripture is, I'd love *to meet the people. This is the greatest people that has ever come forth in the history of the world. *There has never been a people like them. Never before. Moses longed *to see this day. Elijah longed *to see this day. We are *sons of *God. I say again, that Elijah, Moses, Abraham, all of those men, the Bible says *there was none greater than John the Baptist. Abraham wasn't any greater then John. Moses wasn't any greater than John. Elijah wasn't any greater. *He *said, Behold, I send *my messenger before *thy face *to prepare *My way. But nevertheless, *He that is least in the *kingdom of *God, the Bible says, is greater than John the Baptist. Hallelujah! The *sons of *God. Never been a people like this people. So *great a people. I will bring forth *one of the greatest people that has ever been on the face of the earth. It is no *wonder that the devil hates this people. No *wonder.

Old *brother Elijah *here said, "*There isn't going *to be any rain." And *brother, *there wasn't any rain. The *heavens shut themselves up. *God said, "Elijah, go over *here by the brook Cherith, I'm going *to take care for *you." Got over *there by the brook. *He settled down by the brook and *God began *to take care of *him. Hallelujah! Got *there by the brook and *he began *to settle down. Didn't have anything *to eat, but *God said, "Don't worry, *son." During the *great famine, *He said, "While this rain is held back, they aren't going *to be able *to raise any crops." He said, "But just don't worry about it." He said, "I'll take care of it. When meal time comes, I'll feed *you." Old *brother Elijah wasn't used *to three meals a day anyway because sometimes *he'd just eat *one meal. It might be forty days later before *he decided *he wanted another *one. So *he just ate whenever the *Lord sent it *to *him. *You know we have got people around *here if they don't get three meals a day they feel like *they're really in trouble. But old *brother Elijah, *he just ate whenever the *Lord got ready for *him *to eat. Is the right?

And so then, *he settled down by the brook Cherith, and according *to *God's meal time, *here come a raven. I don't know if it was once every three or four, five whatever it was, it came at the right time, didn't it? Hallelujah! In the evening and the morning *God feed *him. Didn't *He? *He knew *he got hungry and *He took care of *him. And *here come the raven and it would drop a little food off. I don't know where *he got it or how *he got it. Somebody *said *one time *he probably got it from Jezebel's table. But I'm almost persuaded *to believe *God had fed *him better than Jezebel ate. Amen! But, nevertheless, whatever it was, *here come the food. The old raven brought the food and old *brother Elijah, *he ate. Though *there wasn't any crops, though *there wasn't any food, *God took care of Elijah. *God will provide for them that trust in *God. Hallelujah! *He'll provide for them. That's *one thing about the people in the wilderness those that *were in the wilderness, *God provided for them. Hallelujah! Like old Billy Sunday *said *one time, *he said, "Before *God would let *me go hungry, *he'd make the *angels divide *their bread with *me." And so it was in the wilderness that *God literally made *angels divide bread with man before *He'd let man go hungry in that they *were *His seed.

God said, "Elijah, everything will be all right. Just stay over by the brook Cherith." And old Bother Elijah just settled down and homesteaded *there until *God got ready for *him *to move. A lot of people, *you know, they are traveling evangelists. They can't homestead nowhere. If they stay for more than three weeks, they say, "Boy, I've got *to get in revival. I've got *to get *me an offering somewhere." I've had them *to tell *me that. I said, "What's wrong with *you?" "Well, I've got *to have an offering." But *you know, Elijah believed *God. *He wasn't looking *to the *church *to take care of *him. I *said *he was trusting in *God. *He wasn't leaning on the arm of flesh. *He didn't have any missionary trips planned *to where *he had *to go from *church *to *church *to take up an offering. *He just trusted *God. Amen! *He settled down by the brook and *he trusted *God. But *God would bring it *to *him at the needed time, and sure enough *here come the raven. *He'd come around and *he'd drop some food. I guess Prophet Elijah and that raven got acquainted pretty good. But nevertheless, *here come the raven and *he'd drop the food. And old Elijah would eat.

And by and by the brook began *to dry up. *You know, a lot of *us don't understand that when the brook starts drying up *God is wanting *us *to do something. A lot of times *He has *to dry up the brook. Old Elijah had homesteaded so long, I guess *he kind of got comfortable. *He didn't have *to go out and work *to make a living. *He could just *sit *there and fish. Or *sit *there and enjoy *himself, *you know, and mediate, praise the *Lord. And *he just got *to where *he wasn't a traveling evangelist anymore. *He just kind of settled down. *He wasn't in pastoral work, but *he was just *sitting, waiting on the *Lord. And while *he was *sitting *there, *you know, the brook began *to dry up. And Elijah, *he decided it was time *to move. *You know, when *you can't get nothing *to drink, *it's a good idea *to shift around. It is a good thing *to start looking a little bit. And so, sure enough, as the brook began *to dry up, old *brother Elijah, *he got up and began *to look around. The brook began *to dry up and Elijah didn't know what *he was going *to do, but *he was still trusting *God.

You know, that's the beautiful thing about faith. The Bible says Abraham so journeyed in a land of promise. *He didn't know where *he was going. *He didn't know *who *he was going *to meet, but *God said, "By faith, Abraham so journeyed in the land of promise." Amen! Believe in *God, believing in faith and taking *God at *His *word. Believe *Him because *God *said it would work out right. That's what *God wants. We are afraid *to leave our denomination. We are afraid *to leave our *church. We are afraid *to leave our doctrine. We are afraid *to leave some idea that the pastor or the preacher or the evangelists have planted in our mind or some concept that we've developed over the years. But *Brother, let *me tell *you. If the *Word of *God tells *me *to do something, I want *to do it. If I see new *light in *God, I want *to go with it. Amen! If I *hear a preacher preaching the *Word of *God and something comes *to the surface that I know is *light, I want *to move on with *God. Hallelujah! *You love the *Lord? Amen!

I'm thinking about the heartaches and the hardships around *here we have a little problem. A while back when the famine hit, the brook dried up. But I noticed the other day, *Sister Anna, the widow gave $500.00 in the offering. That sure did help. Amen! *God said, "Now, after the brooks dried up," *He said, "Elijah, I want *you *to go over *to another place." Hallelujah! *He said, "I'm tired of the raven feeding *you." He said, "I've got a little widow, *she *said *she is going *to take care of *you over *there." Old *brother Elijah, *he probably got up and shook the dust off, *you know, and decided *to became a traveling evangelist again. And so *he was on *his way again. And *he went over *to a little widow's house. Now, isn't that a beautiful scene? When *he got over *to the widow's house, *here *she was. *God had done ordained *her *to feed Elijah, and *she didn't even have enough *to feed *herself. *God done told Elijah that *she was going *to take care of *him, and *she didn't have enough *to even bake bread for *her *own family. Isn't that something? Now, if that would have been *you and I, we would have got over *there and we would have looked and we'd say, "Now, wait a minute, *Lord. We done made a mistake. I know *you *said a widow, but this must be the wrong widow. This woman is in poverty. *She is worse shape than the brook is." So then we would have probably put *God off, *you know, and said, "Now, wait a minute. Something is wrong *here. *There must be a wealthy widow around *here somewhere." And we would have started looking. But not old *brother Elijah. *He had the thing straight in *his mind *to start with. *He knew where *he was going *to start with. *He knew it wasn't just some widow, but it was a widow that *God had ordained. That's right. Over *there when Jesus speaks of that widow, and when *He speaks of the famine back *there throughout all the land, *He said, "In that day *there was many widows in the land." But said, "Unto *one was Elijah sent." Hallelujah! A lot of widows in the land, but *said just *one widow *God went *to in that day. Amen! *There is a lot of churches today and *their heads been cut off from them and they can't get the waters of *life. But I tell *you what. *There is *one widow that *God is sending *to. *There is *one woman *God is interested in. *There is a moving in the *Spirit. Hallelujah! And *God is interested in the widow somewhere today. Hallelujah!

And old *brother Elijah had *his directions right. *He hadn't got mixed-up. *He knew where *he was going, and *he was going over *to the widow's house. When *he got over *there I want *you *to see the beauty of what *God was doing. When *he got over *there, Elijah saw the little widow, and *there *she was preparing a meal. And old bother Elijah said, "I'm hungry." He said, "I'm hungry." And no doubt, *she thought, well that's a familiar sound, everybody in the country is hungry, probably *you're no different from anybody else. But *you know, *she had a tender heart. Now, somebody said, "Well, *she knew that *he was Elijah the prophet." No, I'm not *too sure about that. Because *here, according *to the Bible, *she really didn't accept *him as a man of *God until *he raised the dead, *her *own *son. Even after *he worked a miracle of the cruse of oil, *she still didn't let that substantiate it. Is that right? So then, *she just had a kind heart. But *there *she was, people starving *to death and *there *she was, *she had just a little oil, and the Bible says just a little meal in the barrel. And *here *she had just *two sticks. But *she was willing. *She said, "All I've got is just something *to cook for *my *son." And *she said, "I was going *to prepare *him a little cake and then we *were just going *to give up the *ghost. We *were going *to let that be it." *There are no jobs, *there's nothing. Everything is gone. *There is famine in the land. *You can't raise any food. "No water," *she said, "everything is just in bad shape, everywhere." And old *brother Elijah said, "Well, I'll tell *you what." You know, I imagine *she looked at *him and *she probably *wondered, thought, now well *he looks nice, *you know, *he doesn't look like *he's been fasting. And *he doesn't look like *he's been doing without food. And all of *us people up *here *we're kind of run down. I *wonder where *he's been getting *his food. *She didn't know the raven had been feeding *him. And *he stood *there, and *he *here was, a healthy looking fellow, and *here *she was, a rundown person, *her little boy probably run down. And a big healthy person wanting the last biscuit *she had. Somebody said, "That's the way a holiness preacher is, *he'll take the last dollar *you got." He will. *He will. That's the kind of fellows they are.

And so then the Bible says *she *said *to Elijah, "This is all I've got." Elijah said, "Well, nevertheless, I want it." She could have said, "*You greedy pig." But *she didn't. *She didn't, did *she? *He said, "Nevertheless, bake *me *one first." And the Bible says that *she did what the man of *God told *here *to do. Amen! *You, *too, would be filled with plenty and *your presses would burst out with new wine. Some of *you have got talents and I can't get *you *to use them. Some of *you could help *me *here around the grounds and help *me with the publication of the *gospel, but I can't get *you *to do it. *You're *too busy *wandering the streets, wasting *your time and going *to and fro instead of being interested in the things of *God. Isn't that right? That's why *you get in trouble like *you do. *Your finance, *your time that *you should spend in prayer. All of these things *you just squander them away. Like the prodigal *son.

So then, Elijah got over *there, Elijah *said *to the little widow, *he said, "Give *me first." And so then *she fixed *him a cake. But I want *you *to see the beauty of it. Just *two sticks. That's all it took for Calvary. It just took *two of them. *One upright and *one across this way. That's all it took. Just go *to Calvary. All *he needed was a little widow, a *church, a *son, somebody predestined *to go *to Calvary. *There was somebody predestined *to go *to Calvary. *She just had *two little sticks and that's all it took *to make a cross. Isn't that right? And *here somebody was predestined *to die after the consummation of those *two little sticks. Is that right? Take Calvary, *set those *two little sticks up and the Bible says, "*God is a consuming fire." Drop those *two little sticks right in *there and after that the *son was *to follow as the *lamb, which *he did. *He died, but the man of *God believed in the resurrection. Hallelujah!! Amen! I *said *he still died. But the man of *God believed in the resurrection. Is that right? Hallelujah! *He believed *there was an upper room that was called Pentecost, and if *he could get *us over *there then *there would be a resurrection. Is that right? We all died because of sin and we are dead in sin and trespasses until we come *to Calvary, but *God, when *He gets *us *to the upper room, *there comes forth the resurrection and the *life. It comes right down on the inside of *us. Hallelujah! Dead without the *Spirit. But when the *Spirit comes, *there comes forth the resurrection and the *life.

Brother Elijah said, "Now, look *here. It is a sad case. *There is a famine on. *There isn't any water, *there isn't any food, but if we can just work up a Calvary somewhere everything will be all right." And *he said, "Now, if we just get a Calvary," *he said, "after the crucifixion *there will be a resurrection." He said, "And I'll go over *here and tell Ahab *he is really in trouble and then the rain will come." Is that right? Hallelujah! *He said, "I'll go over *here and I'll tell Jezebel that *there has been a Calvary, *there has been a death, *there has been a burial, *there has been a resurrection and now I *hear an abundance of rain." Is that right? *There had *to be a death *to the *church. *There has *to be a crucifixion, *there has *to be a dying out *to get rid of the parasites so that *God could bring forth the resurrection of *life. Is that right? Hallelujah! Three years of tribulation, three and a half years striking *to kill out the parasites, *to do away with *antichrist, *to get rid of Ahab and Jezebel. Is that right? *To get rid of them, and then after that, *there come forth the resurrection and the *life. Hallelujah!

What a thought. Somebody said, "I thought that old bald-headed Elijah was dead or run off in the wilderness. We searched for *him in every nation and we sat by and looked for *him and couldn't find *him. We thought that fellow done died." All of a sudden *he came from somewhere. Amen! Said, "*God *said *there will be rain." And *he began *to speak, "Thus saith the *Lord." Amen! And things began *to take place and things began *to shape up, and the whole earth began *to break forth in singing. Hallelujah!

Just little widow. *He *said *to her, "Bake *me a cake." And *there it was, like in the Old Testament when they got the meal together, the meal offering they had over *there, represented the body of Jesus Christ, the broken, the ground up body of the *Lord and *here the little cake was, the little meal, *here it was offered up at Calvary over the fire. And *here was Elijah coming in the evening time. *He didn't mess around or come in at a wrong time. A lot of *us don't move when *God says move. But Elijah waited until the evening time. After Calvary, everything's ready. Everything is *set after Calvary. *He knew *there was going *to be a resurrection. Hallelujah! Old *brother Obadiah, I *wonder how *he felt on that road when *he run into Elijah. They looked for three and a half years and couldn't find hide nor hair of *him. And *here *he was, all of a sudden out of nowhere. *Here came that bald-headed prophet walking up the road and old *brother Obadiah looked at *him and *he said, "Art *thou *my *Lord, Elijah?" He said, "I am Elijah." And then *he *said *to him, "Well, where have *you been? Three and a half years we couldn't find *you." And *he said, "I want *to send *you with a message. Go tell Ahab that I am *here, *he's been looking for *me now for three and a half years and *you go tell *him I'm *here." Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

You know, Ahab had talked about what *he is going *to do. *He is going *to kill *him and *he is going *to do this, do everything *to *him, but I imagine when Ahab walked up *to *him that *he was so shook up that *he couldn't do nothing. *He just mumbled and grumbled when *he walked up *to *him. *He probably said, "Uh, are *you Elijah? Are - are - are *you the *one that has been troubling the people?" Elijah said, "I haven't troubled anybody." He said, "It is *you, Ahab, and Jezebel with this rotten teaching and scheming things *you got going." A Trinitarian teaching *God, instead of *one *God. And teaching everybody that *there is a whole lot of *gods instead of the *Lord *God. *He said, "That's what has caused all of the trouble. The Jezebel teaching." And so then *he said, "Ahab." Ahab didn't do nothing. Old Ahab was going *to kill *him, going *to do this, but *he just turned around and made a messenger boy out of *him. *He said, "*You get back over yonder and *you tell that Jezebel *to get these prophets together and meet *me over yonder at a certain place. I'm going *to have a talk with them." And sure enough *he went back, carried it out and did just exactly what that prophet told *him. *He got over *there and *he called Jezebel, the wife, and got them others over *there and got them over at Mount Caramel.

He, in so many *words, *he could have just said, "I met a little widow and *there has been a Calvary and I want *to make a public manifestation of it over *here and show *you what is taking place." So *he told them, *he said, "Now *you get *me some water and *two or three times throw it into the trench and throw the seed in." You know *there is *one thing about it. It takes the *Word, which is the seed; it takes the water, which is the *Spirit; and it takes *God's presence, which is the fire of the *great sunlight *to bring forth a harvest. Isn't that right? And so then, *he said, "When *you plow the field, when *you get the field plowed, throw *me in some seed and when *you get the seed in," *he said, "water it real good and after that I'm going *to pray a prayer and the sunshine of *heaven is going *to come down and we are going *to have a harvest." Is that right? *He said, "*You just get everything ready," *he said, "give *me about twelve stones, so we start off with right foundation *here," and *he said, "I'm going *to take *you over Jordan." Hallelujah. *You know when they went over Jordan, they placed those twelve stones, or those stones, as a memorial. *He said, "I'm going *to take *you over Jordan, I'm going *to get *you out of that Jezebel religion and take *you over that carnal concept of *God and I'm going *to show *you what serving *God is." Amen!

And when *he got everything together *he said, "All right," *he said, "now we are going *to have a contest." He called everybody and *he said, "We are fixing *to have a contest." And sure enough, all of them came together. And *he said, "Now, if *you use the gods (plural) gods (plural)" how many of *you know the *word Baal means *god of the flesh? *God of the flesh. Gods (plural) . Three *gods, 325 AD, the teachings of three *gods, not the *Lord *God, but three *gods. *God of the flesh, an imagination, a theory, a doctrine that came from the Nicene Council. *He said, "Call them together. We are going *to have a test. We are going *to have a contest *here." And sure enough, all of them come running together. About the time they got together, Elijah said, "I'm going *to give *you the first shot." He said, "I'm going *to give *you the first shot." Hallelujah! *He was a good shot. How many know *he was a good shot? Amen! Kind of reminds *me about Robin Hood, *you know. William Tell. Being a good shot. I believe it was William Tell that shot the apple off *his *son's head. Is that right? A good shot. *He had the second arrow back *there and they asked him, "What are *you doing with a second arrow?" He said, "If I would have missed the first, King, I wouldn't have missed a second time." In other words, "I'm a good shot, but when *you forced *me *to shoot the apple off *my *son's head," *he said, "if I would have hit *my *son," *he said, "I would have been a better shot with this second arrow when I aimed it for *your heart."

But old Elijah didn't need but *one shot. That's all. *He is just a *one shooter. It just took *one shot do the job. Amen! The Bible says that *he placed everything in order and got it ready and then *he called for the prophets of Jezebel and gave them the first shot. And they began *to dance and they began *to holler and they began *to have a hoop, and they began *to say, "I'm shouting!" And they began *to jump. And they began *to run the benches and turn flips and everybody get in a circle and march around and around. And they hollered and they screamed and they did everything, and when they got through, somebody said, "What a revival! What a revival!" But *there hadn't been any fire that come down. Somebody said, "What do *you mean, *there hadn't been any fire?" Because the Bible says, "*God would burn the chaff with unquenchable fire." And they *were just as dirty and messy in the *church when it got through with the revival as it was before the revival. Amen! If *God would have come down, *there would have been some changes. The Bible says, "If these men would have stood in *my counsel, it would cause *my people *to turn from *their sins." Amen! *He said, "I'll make *my ministers a flame of fire." Is that right? *He'll burn the chaff like stubble.

And so then they shouted and hollered and jumped, but *there wasn't any fire. *There wasn't any fire. *My *brother, on the day of Pentecost *there was some fire. *God said, "I'll baptize *you with the *Holy *Ghost and with fire." It *said that *His fan is in *His hand and *He shall thoroughly purge *His floor and gather the wheat into the garners. Burn the chaff with unquenchable fire. Is that right? *God is a thorough purger. *His fan is in *His hand. The old winnowing fans out *there, *you know, they would throw the wheat down when it was good and dry and they would get out *there with *their feet and go trampling like that. Have *you ever seen a preacher do that? People do that when they get in the *Spirit. I'm talking about really in the *Spirit and they begin *to trample the wheat. And if *you'll notice back, *there in those days, when they began *to trample they'd start the winnowing fans, like this. The winnowing fans. And every bit of the chaff would jump up, like that, jump up. They trample it off with *their feet then it would jump up and the big fans would just blow it away. Blow the chaff away with the contrary wind of Trinitarian doctrine, just keep on fanning. Amen! Let the Jezebel doctrine get all the chaff away from the wheat and then gather the wheat into the garners. Is that right? What is the garners? Into the secret chambers of *God. *He that dwells in the secret place of the Most *High, the Bible says, *He'll abide in the shadow of the *Almighty. Gathering them in. Preach something real good. Dance and shout and have a good time in the *Lord. Then some of the chaff jumps up and say, "Um, I don't believe it." Whoosh! The wind of doctrine takes them away. Isn't that right? But the wheat just *lays *there. Hallelujah! Established, stable, waiting. Amen. Right ready for the Master's use. Just *lays *there.

Old Elijah got everything ready and then a revival was on. They started a real revival. But it wasn't a *Holy *Ghost revival. It was a *ghost revival, but is wasn't a *Holy *Ghost revival. And they started them a revival and they jumped and they hollered and they did everything else. Have *you noticed *here lately since they can't get anything else *to go they say, Come and see me, "I've got a blood cross on *me. Blood is coming out *my back. Blood is over *here." All kind of things. And finally, finally, the time was up. Finally they *were worn out. The Bible says, "Satan would wear the saints of *God out." Is that right? Finally, everybody was worn out. Everything was just worn out. The *Lord hadn't come. *You know why? Because Elijah hadn't spoke. I *said the prophet Elijah hadn't took up *his parable yet, that's why. They had rejected the headstone. They had rejected the corner stone. They wouldn't accept what *God had give *to them. And so they jumped and hollered and did it without Elijah. If they would have just *one time stopped, and said, "Look, Elijah, I don't feel like we are getting anywhere. Why don't *you come over *here and let's get this thing settled. If *you are right. Well, we will join up with *you and see if we can get the fire down *here." But they didn't do that. They jumped up and down.

And old Elijah, *he was having a good time. *He was fed *to the full. The raven had taken care of *him. *He wasn't hungry. I'm satisfied that they didn't have *too much jump in them because, I imagine they *were kind of worn out after all them years. I imagine the treasure of Jezebel got kind of slim. I imagine it did. So then, jumping up and down. And even the water that they threw around the sacrifice, I imagine that was a *great sacrifice because they probably didn't have a lot of water with the drought. They might had *to take some of Jezebel's water *to do that. But anyway, *here it was. They jumped up and down and nothing took place. So the revival was over. The revival was over. But the translation hadn't ever happened. I *said, they never had been taken into *heaven. They had preached the translation. They had preached Jesus is coming. They said, "*There is going *to be a catching away." But now the revival is over. The evangelists have lost *their enthusiasm, everything was dying down. The *church had done had all kind of suppers and didn't know what else *to do. All the programs and petting parties and everything, even the television in the lobby, still hadn't been a translation. So everybody was just giving up.

But did *you know *God don't even start until the flesh finishes? The Bible says, "Satan would wear the saints of *God out and then they would rise and take the *kingdom." When everybody is wore out. When everybody feels *there is nothing else, then *God will come on the scene. The Bible says when old *brother Elijah was back *there in the cave, that that *great wind rent the mountain, but *God wasn't in it. *There was a *great fire, but *God wasn't in it. But all of a sudden, the Bible says a small still voice. *There came forth a *revelation and *God was in it. It was a small still voice. Is that right? *God was in it. Old *brother Elijah said, "Well, maybe *he is asleep, maybe *he is on a journey." He said, "Something is wrong with *him." He said, "That's what it is. Something is wrong with *your *god." And finally, when they finished, then they got out of the way and Elijah started.

Now, Elijah's was short revival. A quick work, cut short in righteousness. It didn't take *him all day *to do it. It was at the evening time. *He waited until the evening time because it was *to be Calvary and it was the evening time of the sacrifice when the *lamb was *to represent the *Lord Jesus Christ. What was the matter with those people is they kept calling out of season. They kept calling on *God out of season. They *were a ritualistic. It wasn't time for Christ. It wasn't time for the revival. It wasn't time for the breaking forth of Calvary. But *he waited until the *law of Moses was right. Moses said, "In the evening time." He said, "Make this offering up in the evening time." And the prophet said, "It shall come *to pass that in the evening time *there shall be *light in the evening time." Is that right? In the evening time. And when everybody had finished, then the evening time come and *God said, "Elijah, it is time for the offering of the evening sacrifice." Somebody said, "I'm an evangelist, I'm going *to go preach, *Brother Pike." Well, that's good. But I think it is better *to wait until *He tells *you *to go *to preach. Amen! I *said *it's better *to be sent. The Bible says, "How can *you preach unless *you be sent?" All those fellows *were hollering and hooping but it didn't do any good. Amen! It didn't do any good. They *were taken care of. Jezebel feed all of them prophets. *She took care of them and the world will take care of *you. The world loves *its *own. *You can join up with *their organizations and help gather some more people in *to help *their payroll every month. But that isn't going *to do any good. Elijah trusted *God. *He wasn't on nobody's payroll. *He just trusted *God.

And then *there came a time when *God said, "Now, Elijah. I'm sending *you now, Elijah. *It's the evening time sacrifice. *It's according *to *my *Word." The *law of Moses said, "Now is the time." Hallelujah! Today. Now. Now is the time. And old *brother Elijah got up from *there when the *Spirit began *to move and that is what made people shake and tremble. Those other prophets come through town, evangelists hopping and skipping and going on and having parties and having camp meetings and everything. Nobody paying any attention *to it. But when old *brother Elijah came through, they knew that the *Spirit of *God had moved. When *he come through town, *one no doubt *said *to the other, "Hey, hey something's happening." "How do *you know?" "*Here come that Elijah. *You know *he doesn't ever come through unless the *Spirit of *God is on *him." Unless the *God is moving *him. Something is happening. Get all excited. Everybody run out in the middle of the street saying, "What does *he want? What does *he want? Is *he *here for good or is *he *here for bad? What does *he want? *You know every time *he comes something always happens." Isn't that right?

So then, old *brother Elijah got up. *God said, "Get up now Elijah, and go on over *there and take care of this thing." Old *brother Elijah, *he got over *there and *he called on *God. *He started another revival. Those boys had cut themselves and wore themselves out. The ones that *were *sitting over *there probably could recuperate, probably sat *there and laughed and said, "That old foolish bald-headed fellow over *there, well we've done hooped and hollered and *here we are all prophets and nothing happened and *here come that old bald-headed fellow and *he says something is going *to take place." And sure enough *here *he went over *there and *he began *to call on *God. See, the difference is *he never called on the *gods, *he called on *God. *There is a difference on calling on *gods and calling on *God. Jesus said, "If *you ask anything in *my name, I will do it."

And Elijah said, "The *Lord is *God." He believed in the *Lord. And *he called on the *Lord. And the Bible says when *he called on the *Lord, that the *Lord answered *him from *heaven by fire. When *he called upon the name of the *Lord, the Bible says that *great fire, that same fiery chariot that came down and caught Elijah away, that fire came down from *heaven and the Bible says that it consumed everything that was laid *there. *You say, "What do *you mean?" I mean it was a rapture. When they got through they had had a translation and they couldn't find anything. Everything was gone. I'll tell *you, when *God gets through, the false prophets are going *to be looking around and they aren't going *to be able *to find the foundation of the *church, they are not going *to be able *to find the *Spirit which the waters symbolize. And the seed *word is going *to be gone, and *there is not going *to be anything left. I mean *God is going *to take the whole *church out, is that right? Everything. Everything will be gone. Why? Because *God heard at Calvary. Heard *us in a time accepted. Secured *us. *There has been a Calvary.

Now then, *my *brother, if *there has been a Calvary, if *there has been a crucifixion, if *there has been a turmoil, if *there have been storms and earthquakes and turmoil and all these things that are pointing *to the tribulation period, if *there has been already these things for the *church, that means that for the *church, something has come down. *There has been a moving of the *Word, *there has been a moving of the fire, *there is something *God's got that's happening *to the *church. And it is catching the *church out of this world into a *heavenly place. *There is a *God somewhere that is answering. And *He is going *to answer greater and greater and greater until the world will be astounded. But *there had *to be a tribulation period. *There is a tribulation that is coming pretty soon. But that tribulation period is not the Calvary of the *church. It is the three and a half year term of the *antichrist. It does have *to do with Elijah. But it is not the tribulation of the *church. That's the *church of the wilderness, which is always *God's type. Elijah and Moses will be *there. And Jezebel will be *there. And Ahab, the Catholic *church will be *there. All of it. The Pope and the *church will be *there, which is Ahab and Jezebel.

But let *me tell *you something, before that time *there was *to be a typical tribulation period that was *to *set in that had *to do with those storms and those tornadoes that terrified the people *here not *too long ago, *to signify *God listening and coming down by fire. When I told *Brother Taylor the vision I had and what I had seen and spoke of it as we came across it and I said, "*Brother Taylor," I said, "judgment is going *to strike because this is the time of it." The fire of *God came down and begin *to consume and not only shook up Monroe, but everybody around the nation. Everybody was shook up around the nation. Why? Because something was *to happen. Something was *to take place. When we spoke over yonder over in Olive Branch and I said, "*Lord," I said, "If just an earthquake hit right now it would be just right." And the earthquake hit twenty-two different states. Why? Because something is taking place. *There is something that is falling in place. As we pointed out the fall of Herbert W. Armstrong, and the fall of Billy Graham, and the fall of A. A. Allen, and the death of *Brother Branham, and the fall of Oral Roberts, and the different things, *God has answered right down the line *to it. Every step of it has been fulfilled. And not only that, but the coming in of what we are speaking of now is going *to be identically the same and this that we are speaking of is going *to happen right down the line *to the very'T'.

What is it? After this Calvary, *there was something that came forth. What was it? A voice said, "Elijah," *said *to *his little servant, *He said, "Get out *there on the mountain." He went out *there on the mountain. When *he got out *there on the mountain, *he began *to pray. Reminds *me of the time when the *Lord sent *me *to Arizona, after *Brother Branham's death. *He sent *me out *there *to Arizona and we got *there and the *law, being typical, *you know, stopped *me in the valley and said, "Boy, *it's been a long time since we had any rain in this place." I said, "Well, I'm going *to ask *God *to send some rain." And I stayed out *there and I prayed and the cloud would darken up but it didn't rain. And I'd pray again and the cloud would darken up, but it didn't rain. And then we got ready *to leave from Arizona, the *Lord was leading *us on *to California and I prayed and I went down *to the service station *to get *me some gas, and the attendant was all excited and *he said, "Have *you heard? Have *you heard?" I said, "What is it?" He said, "The weather report says *we're getting rain." He said, "*She's going *to rain."

And that little servant went up *there and got on the mountain *he prayed. Nothing happened. *He prayed again. Nothing happened. *He said, "*You just keep on praying, until *you fulfill the *church *ages." He said, "The rain can't come until after the *church *ages. *You just go back and keep on praying." And the Bible says, "Seven times." Amen! And then came forth the hand like unto the five-fold ministry. Then came the right hand of *God, the power of the *church. Then came the hand of *God. That began *to move in the earth. Then *there was a restoration of the *great moving of *God. And the man said, "I see a cloud. *It's like unto a man's hand." That is, it probably meant it wasn't any bigger. Just a little old small thing. Elijah's faith took a sky rocket. Amen! If some of *us had seen a little old cloud about that big up *there in the *heavens, we would have said, "*My lands, *Lord, I've been praying and praying, and praying, and that looks like a soda cracker up *there. Why, we couldn't even get dew drops out of that." But Elijah didn't look at it like that. All *he needed was just *one tiny speck *to appear in the *heaven and *he knew that *God had answered *him. And all of a sudden, that little place in Monroe just busted up and just went all of the nation. Hallelujah! A cloud like unto a man's hand. It just busted it up and went all over the nation. Hallelujah! Somebody say "Amen!" You say, Where did *you see it? I saw it in a vision. Hallelujah! I saw it in a vision. I saw that cloud break off and come down and stand over *my head, and I saw it burst and go into those men and I knew that abundance of rain was coming. I see something coming. This is the latter rain that's breaking forth. The same thing that was previewed at Calvary and it is going *to rapture the *church. If *you believe it say, Amen! I want *you *to stand with *me now. Hallelujah! Let's sing this little chorus, "I Feel Like Traveling On". When the brook dried up Elijah probably began *to think about traveling on. I don't know that *he sung that song, but *he thought about it. All of *us together:

"Well, I feel like traveling on and on, I feel like traveling on. *My *heavenly home is bright and fair, I feel like traveling on. *My *heavenly home is bright and fair, I feel like traveling on. No pain, nor sickness can enter *there, I feel like traveling on."

Do *you feel it tonight? Yes, I feel like traveling on and on, I feel like traveling on. *My *Lord has been so good *to *me, I feel like traveling on.
