Bottomless Pits

Let's go over to the book of First John. First John, the third chapter and the second verse. 

John says, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." 

See? So, Now, beloved, are we the sons of God. I'd love to just kind of go dwell around that thought just a little bit tonight. Now, beloved, are we the sons of God. Now. Then the thought, of course, would arise, What does that mean? What does that mean? We'd say, Well, we know what it means. It means what it says. We are sons of God, but do we know what it means? Do we know what it means to be a son of God? Do we know what it means to be a son of God? Someone would say, Oh, yes. Oh, yes, I'm saved. Well, that's great. That's wonderful. That's wonderful. That's outstanding that you know that. But, folks, let me tell you. There is just tons of things more than that. Even though that is the beginning of it that's where it all starts. Now, beloved, are we the sons of God. To as many as believed to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believed on His name. Are that do believe on His name. For salvation is in the name Jesus. Deliverance. Salvation means deliverance. Deliverance is in the name of Jesus Christ. So then, now, beloved, are we the sons of God. What does it mean to be a son of God? It means that I have passed from death unto life. Like I said to some of them today. We were talking and I made the statement today, I said, Being a son of God, when you say a son of God that means that you have passed from death unto life and it means that there is no more condemnation to you. You shall never come into condemnation. There will never be a time in your life, henceforth and forever, that you shall ever come into condemnation again. That does not mean that the devil won't try to bring condemnation to your mind and try to say things against you. He is a continual accuser of the brethren. But it does mean that not any of that is accepted of God. So, there's not anything that is charged against you because you are a son of God. You know, we come together, we praise the Lord, we sing praises and we praise the name of the Lord and we're happy about that because we should be happy. We should be happy people. Serving God is joy, peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. Some people could never say that, because they don't even have the Holy Ghost. See? And Christ, Christ within you is that Holy Ghost and He is the hope of that glory that creates joy abundantly that's filled up and overflowing, full of life. So then, now, beloved, are we the sons of God. It doth not yet appear what we shall be like because we've never been changed in this body. See? The body has never yet been changed so the appearance of this, as to the eye beholding it, it hath never been seen at as of yet. But that still doesn't mean that we are not the sons of God. That doesn't mean that you are not a son of God. See? You are still a son a God. Now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. That is, right now. Right this minute, here at Bethlehem sitting on these seats, you people that love God, you are already a son of God. You know, this is what the Jews got upset with Jesus about. He came preaching sonship and as He began to preach the sons of God then He said, I came from heaven. I came from heaven. They thought He'd done lost His mind. He said, I came from heaven. He said, Nicodemus, no man has ever been up to heaven but Me. I went up to heaven, I came down from heaven. Came from heaven, I go back to heaven. So then He said, Sons of God. He said, If you had been of God you would have loved Me. And if you had been of Abraham you would have believed Me because I came forth from God. And they got angry and they said, You being a man make yourself God. Make yourself God. And then again, the thing arises in our heart, What do you mean by that? you being a man make yourself God. All He said was, I am the Son of God. I'm the Son of God. And then I said to you, I'm a son of God myself. And somebody would say, Well, you being a man make yourself God. You being a man you make yourself equal with God. What does it mean to be a son of God?. Does that actually mean that you are equal to God? Can you actually say that you are equal to God? Can I say that I am equal to God? Somebody would say, Well, Brother Pike, be careful where you walk. Be careful what you say. So then we say, Well, you know, I have to be careful. I could never say that. I could never believe that. I could never say that. I'm afraid to do that. But then, Paul in his preaching he said, Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. Isn't that what he said? He had the mind of Christ, the Bible says. Let this mind be in you. And someone would say, What kind of mind is that? The mind that thought he was the son of God. Let's give the Lord a hand. Wasn't that the kind of mind he had? Somebody say hallelujah! That's the kind of mind he had, right there. He believed that He was the Son of God. Is there anybody in the audience like that? Let's give the Lord a hand. Somebody say praise God. Hallelujah! Now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. I feel the Holy Ghost already. Don't you? I feel the Holy Ghost already. And Paul said, And, beloved, He thought it not robbery to make himself equal with God. Someone would say, Equal with God? He thought He was equal with God. Let's give the Lord another hand. I'm talking about that mind that's in you today. Is there anybody out there like that? Somebody said, But you, being a man, make yourself equal with God. That's what they told Jesus. No, being a man God made me equal with God. Somebody say hallelujah! Somebody say hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Somebody says, Brother Pike, you don't believe that man is equal with God. I certainly don't. I certainly don't. But I believe sons of God are. Amen. I believe the bride of Christ is. My wife is equal with me. She's my own flesh. Hallelujah! She's my own flesh and bones. Glory to God. She's my own flesh and bones. Do you believe your wife is equal with you? Sure you do, because she is. How could you believe anything else? You believe your body is equal with your body, don't you? Sure. She's your wife, she's equal with you. Well, anyway, we could get off on that subject and it would take all night long. But, nevertheless, now, beloved, are we the sons of God, but it doth not yet appear. That is, the change has not yet come but that doesn't have anything to do with it. God is a spirit and because God is a spirit He's already living on the inside. To as many as believe, even believe in His name, He gave to them power to become the sons of God merely by believing. How do I get to be a son of God? I believe what He said about it. I believe He put His mind in it. I believe He did all the works for me. I believe that I am a son of God. Why? Because that's what He told me. Now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. Let's give Him another hand. I believe what He said about it. Faith made me what He said about it. As a man thinketh in his heart so he is. And God feeds him the fruits of his thoughts, whether it's the old tree of knowledge or whether it's the tree of God. Hallelujah! I feel real good. Glory to God. It makes me feel better all the time. They used to have a little song, let's go on talking about this good old way. Let's go on talking about the Lord. It is a good old way, isn't it? Hallelujah! I can tell that water is still billowing on the inside of you and you can still believe. I can tell that your eyes have come open and you've been born into this glory and you begin to see that glory. Hallelujah! Can the world stand? Can things continue on the way they're going. The government has already fallen and the sons of God are moving on the scene and the Bible says the whole world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Isn't that right? Why? Even the ocean is raging and rolling, restless, waiting for the sons of God. The moon, the sun, the stars, everything is in travail waiting for the sons of God. Why? Because the sons of God are going up to the throne and just like that, Lucifer is cast out. And the curse is gone, all the pressures are gone from the sea. Everything is gone from the world and the world begins to take it's bow, as we would say, to God. Someone would say, Oh, Brother Pike, surely to God you don't believe the world will bow? I know one thing, when I saw that vision of the Lord Jesus Christ I know He made me bow. And He picked me up and set me down on my face and I know He made the trees bow and the trees done obeisance to Him. And I know the great big boulder, that was so tremendously big, rolled up and left an indenture in the ground, a socket, and rolled over and did obeisance before Him. Somebody say hallelujah! I saw that with my own eyes. So, I know one thing. I know whatever He is that's what it is. And when He gets near you it goes something to you. I know that. So then, now, beloved, are we the sons of God. We are the sons of God. Not going to become the sons of God, but we are already the sons of God. Now. And I would say, now, beloved, are you the sons of a billionaire. Now, beloved, are ye the sons of a billionaire. Not going to be, but now, are ye the sons of a billionaire. And if you say, Well now, I don't know about that, I'm just a poor boy. Say, Oh, no. Oh, no. You just haven't been told. See? You are the sons of a billionaire. And somebody would say, Man, what if that is true. Goodness! Could I ever believe that? And somebody said, Hey, I can tell you. I've done been there. I saw it. And I heard your dad call your name. And you are his son; you just got lost off. You are His son. He's been searching for you for years. He's got proofs, affidavits, everything. It shows you are. Man, that man would be hopping like a frog. He'd be hollering. He'd be screaming. If he'd been a poor boy and in rags, all of a sudden he'd be screaming and hollering, He think, That fellow that was so snooty up town, that banker, I'll show him. I'll show these others when I ride back in my limousine, you know. I'll show them. Because that's in a man, you know. That's in a man. And, sure enough, he discovered that he is the son of a billionaire. Hallelujah! Isn't that something? Just think. Put you a whole  Get you a big sack and put you a whole bunch in a sack, a billionaire, you don't have anything. But when you're a son of God and you're a son of the King, and you're the son of the mighty Prince of Life, folks, you are something. I'm telling you. You are something. Now, beloved, are you the sons of God. You outshine the brightness of the noonday. Just as quick as God rends that veil through the knowledge of sonship you're going to be brighter than the noonday sun. And the noonday sun will never shine again. Never. I've said this before. One son of God that there already is, if the veil was rent in twain, as to him comprehending what Christ did for him the sun would never shine again because that son of God would make it so shameful it would never lift its head to come over the horizon again. So, it's not a fairy tale. It's not a make-belief. It's not something that we're going to work our way into. It's not something that we're eventually going to get around it. Now, beloved, are you the sons of God. Now, beloved, are you the sons of God. Ye already are the sons of God. Hallelujah! You don't feel that? You don't feel that? That's because you're not thinking in same channel I am. Hallelujah! You know, when there is four hundred and four forty volts running, you don't have a hold of the same line the other fellow has if you don't feel it. It's for sure and I've got a hold of the line. I've got a hold of the line. Hallelujah! I know I was on a boat fishing one time and we were way out to sea. I'm not much of fisherman anyway, but we were way out there in California out fishing and all of a sudden when my line went in to the water I felt something. And I knew that I had what we call a big one. I mean a big one on my line and everybody around me got excited. And the first news you know my line began to move and wrap around their lines and his lines and her lines and their lines and it was all over the boat and everybody had the big fish. And they were snatching and pulling and I was snatching and pulling and none of us never did get him in. But the thing is everybody got a bite. Somebody say hallelujah! That's the way it is, you know, when you catch that big one everybody begins to yank on the line because they think they've got him, too. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! makes your heart blossom out, you know. Hallelujah! Praise God! Can't you feel the tugging on the line? Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Like a man that went by one time and the little boy flying the kite and he said, What are you doing? He said, I'm flying the kite. Said, I don't even see no kite. Said, There isn't a kite up there. Said, Oh, yes. It's there. Said, Well, how do you know it's there? Because I can feel the tug on the line. Somebody say praise the Lord. Glory to God. I can feel the tug on the line, folks. I know He's on the other end because I can feel the tug on the line. And so then, Now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. Already are the sons of God. There's been a lot of shouting, a lot of praising down through the years, great mighty revivals of great men, and it was God. But, see? A lot of that was on the tare to keep the tare alive, to water the tare until everything was completed, as to the wheat bringing forth it's harvest. And it was something that would keep the world alive and stimulate it. They mixed all kind of things with it; sports and everything else, and still God blessed them. See? Because He could not see their sins because the blood took away the sins of the world, as to this temporal day of grace. But this is a different revival. When the Lord spoke to me He spoke to me in a way that I said, I'm going to keep my people pretty well emotionless until I can indoctrinate them with the truth and they won't be carried away with fanaticism, or they won't be carried away just with the reflection of the Spirit of God, as the rain on the tare. And I'm going t keep indoctrinating, keep on indoctrinating. And this was in my heart. And one day when I see everything just right I'm going to understand that they have come to this great threshold of entering in and that they have come to the understanding of God. And then when we start opening things up and saying what we understanding to say and pressing the issue it's going to be the spirit of God rejoicing, like the Bible says, Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and it going to be the spirit of God and not just a lot of fanaticism, or people that are just jumping up and down like tares in the rain. And that's why I said this morning when I felt this, I said you're blessing me, because a woman goes into travail and she is under great pressure and stress until that child is born and then after that it's over. And the Bible says she's filled with joy so much that then there is no more remembrance of her travail in that she's cuddling that little one in her arms. See? And that's the way it is. We travail until Christ be formed within you. Like the vision I had where I was bringing forth the child when I was praying down in Florida and I was going through a lot of stress trying to work on the boat, trying to fast, trying to pray at night, trying to preach a revival and going through stress and this child being born in my heart, having a divine conception, as to bring this life. We sing the song God is bringing forth His man child, the Christ in you and me. And so then, this thing was working and now it's come to the time when this child has been born. And now that it's been born we can leap for joy. We can sing. We can praise God because it's going to come from our heart, down on the inside. Someone would say, Well, Brother Pike, isn't the tare going to get this rain, too? Sure it's going to get this rain, too. It's the later and it's the former rain. Even the double portion. That of the Jews former house and that light and this, the greater light of this house. That is, the later house, even the light of the world the Gentiles. Even Christ. So then, that first was the former light, in that it was in a veil and that was the former rain because it was moderately. But now Joel said, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh, sons and daughters. That was at Calvary. From Calvary this has been. But people have never been able to comprehend who they are, as to the elect. God has held us back until the end and He's let all of them think about the grace of God and all these other things and they've shouted and they have spoke in tongues and the gifts have worked, and all these kind of things but they never did comprehend who they were, as to the church. See? They felt like they knew and they had that conviction that they were people of God, but to comprehend this thing as this light shining within your midst and to them that set in the regions of the shadow of death great light has sprang up unto them. See? And the world cannot see this light but this light is beginning to blossom. It's beginning to come forth to you and you're beginning to understand. What is this light? This light is to make you know who you are, where you came from, what you are and where you're going, as the world says. Or that is, it makes you to know where you are eternally and where you've always been eternally. And that's in the presence of God. And who you've always been eternally and what you are right now eternally. And what you are forever going to be eternally. Somebody say hallelujah! That's what this light is; it's to reveal to you your great mastery in life and your sonship through the Christ that did all of these wonderful things for you. And as He is so are you in Him. Could you imagine being like Jesus? Could you imagine being like Jesus? We sing the song, to be like Jesus. Could you imagine being like Jesus? Someone would say, Well, I could never imagine that, Brother Pike, of being like Jesus. But, behold, lo and behold, we are Jesus. We are His very body. Somebody say hallelujah! I said we're very bone and flesh of Jesus Christ. It's not you living but it's the Lord Jesus Christ and whatever He is so are you in Him. You are exactly Him to a tee. Not someone else. He gives His glory to you because you are not another but you are His own body. And he said, Father, glorify these with the same glory I had with Thee before the world ever was. Father, make these one even as we are one. And so then, that's why the Bible says in the sixtieth chapter of Isaiah, Arise, shine, for thy light has come and the glory of God has risen upon thee. He has given you His own glory. The glory of God has risen upon you. Is there anybody at all at Bethlehem that the glory of God has risen upon? He's risen upon me. He's risen upon me. Somebody would say, How do you know that? Because my eyes came open. My heart came open. All of these thing are continually revelating themselves to me. That's the glory of God expressing itself. And the glory of God has risen upon me. And I rejoice. I rejoice. The Bible says rejoice. Paul said, And I say unto thee, rejoice and I say again unto thee again, rejoice. Rejoice. Rejoice. Again I say unto thee rejoice, Paul said. For that is your strength; the joy of the Lord. So then, tonight what are we? We are the sons of God. Someone would say, Well, by and by. No, not by and by when the morning comes. It's already happened and the morning came. I said the morning came. And it dawned at Calvary and lo and behold, there they were, the lovely sons of God. See? God saw them. He saw them. So, how beautiful. These He saw by foreknowledge, and the Bible says, And they were leaping for joy. Leaping for joy. I saw some of them do that this morning. I saw them leaping for joy. He said, Job, where were you? Where were you when the morning star sang together and the sons of God leaped for joy. Hallelujah! Where were you? See? Where were you, Brother Pike? I was right there with them. Hallelujah! I was right there with them. Amen. Amen. I was right there in the foreknowledge of God and I was jumping just as high as any of them. Why? Because we've always been. We are and we always will be because we're bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. And He hath made us equal with Himself by His own works. That was the thrust from the beginning, was that God the great Spirit might redeem the body of Adam because he wanted Adam to be equal with the Shekinah light that the spirit and the body might be one. That would be his family and he could dwell forever in it and have offspring and that would be his family. That they would all be equal with him and they could all fellowship together as one great God family, the great wonderful God family of riches and splendor and glory and magnificence. And, of course, when the thing was detoured, or the thing was perverted, then Satan took over, built himself a world and has had a frolic through humanity ever since to corruption and perversion. But now it has come to its ultimatum, even as Sodom and Gomorrah that He will burn. But there was a man down in Sodom and Gomorrah by the name of Lot and the Bible says he was a righteous man. There is still today somebody. And the Bible when it refers back to it, it refers back to him as a symbolic thing of the church. And the very day that Lot went out of Sodom and Gomorrah the Bible says, And the fire came. The very day when the church goes out the fire is coming. See? And so we know that the heavens will roll back and we understand that of a surety that we are the salt of the earth and the only reason that God hasn't done something to the earth already is because of us being in the earth. So then, that means that we are the sons of God. Now, beloved, we are the sons of God. If I am a son of God why should I take a bow to the devil? Can't you just imagine every morning sons of God taking a bow to the devil and saying, I don't want to get you upset. I don't want to get you disturbed for oh, I fear you. I'm afraid of you. Can't you just see that? All the sons of God bowing down to the devil and every time something comes they take a bow to the devil and they get all nervous and frustrated, you know, because they know he's so strong and he's so powerful. Where does that put God? Where does that put the power over all the powers of the enemy? What is the power over all the powers of the enemy? He said, I give you power over all the powers of the enemy. What is that power? It's Christ in you that has defeated the devil and everything that the devil has. And He was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. Whether it's sickness, whether it's poverty, whatever it might be, strong delusions, fear, whatever. See? We are those that are sons of God and why do we fear the devil? Why do we fear the things of the devil? Why do we get ourselves in a complex situation? To begin with sons of God are not in the earth. They don't dwell in the earth. They dwell in heaven. They are not in that body, that image, the bastard child image. That thing is dead. It's buried. It's gone. And it's not even in the sight of God to be accounted for anymore. See? And now you are a new creature. Jesus came up from the grave and the Bible says He appeared to them in another form. He wasn't in the form of a servant, as to that which he came in as in the behalf of you. He eliminated that. When He resurrected from the dead He was not in that form. And if He was your form is going to Calvary. Then why isn't it the same with the resurrection, that you are His form in the resurrection if you're bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh? Isn't that right? And the Bible says He appeared in another form. So then, that means that we're not the same. We are changed. By the washing of regeneration in the sight of God we are the sons of God and he already sees us in a finished product, even as to the change of the body for He already redeemed the body at Calvary. It's the purchased possession and all we're doing is receiving the Spirit of Christ on the inside that we might change from glory to glory through a diplomacy to come to the knowledge that we are already sons of God and that we are already a completed thing in Christ. That we've already been changed into His lovely glory. We are already predestinated. We are already justified. We are already sanctified. We are already glorified and the only thing that God is allowing is the mind of Christ to come into us, the same mind that did this to the body of Jesus Christ, to bring Him from the form of the servant to this wonderful glory, as to that which was on the mount. Now He within you as the Christ that is revealing Himself as the heavenly treasure within earthen vessels to be made manifest in your mortal genes until there you stand as in the glory of God. For when He appears ye shall be like Him for ye shall see Him He is. Everyone that hath this hope within him purifies himself even as He is pure. That is, purifying the heart by faith, the confidence of His righteousness that is, as the Bible says, And My grave is sufficient. So then, we know then we are the sons of God. We know that it is a completed task and as He is in the sight of God, so are we in Him in the sight of God. And how is He? He's perfect, without fault. The Bible says, And I find no fault in this just man. And we've now come to the place, the mount wherein the spirit of just men are made perfect. Are you a just man? Therefore, being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Then are you a just man? It is Christ that died for you and justified you. Then that means that we've come now to the mount of God wherein the spirit, your spirit, your inner being, your angelic being hath thus become perfect and He hath perfected forever, He hath sealed you to where nothing can touch you and you are now perfect forever. And God hath perfected you to the extent that Paul, the overseer of the Gentile church said, I want to present you body, soul and spirit without spot, without wrinkle, without blemish to God. So then, where are we? He hath made us equal to Himself. He hath made us equal to Himself. And not only that but the Bible says everyone that be perfect shall be as his Master, and that perfection comes through believing. And the more you purify yourself, as to faith, the more you clear your conscience, the more you believe in the mastery of Christ in your behalf, the greater you become, and the greater you, and the greater you become until finally, as the church, the Bible says the ministry perfecting your faith, as to the hearing of the Word, then all of a sudden you become perfect and you know what God wants and you know what God's done, and you know what God's going to do, and this mind is in you and you believe it and therefore, the whole thing then, as to the sanctification of Christ's righteousness, you become perfect and everyone that be perfect shall be as His master. And everyone that be perfect has comprehended Christ's perfection in their behalf, that He is as Him. That is, as Christ is so are we in Him. We are complete in Him. There is nothing like Him and we are transformated in our mind into that wonderful glory. Which is by a sanctification of Christ. Turn my people from darkness unto light, Paul, because you've come into the light. The scales have fallen from your eyes. And in that you've come into this glorious light, turn my people unto the faith which is by me, the faith by which they are sanctified. So then, we're sanctified once and for all by the offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that means that we are now, beloved, the sons of God. Now, beloved, are we the sons of God. What does it mean to be a son of God? It means to be perfect. It means to be perfect. Someone would say, Well, I don't feel perfect. I don't feel perfect. Do you believe that you are perfect in Christ? Oh, someone would say, Well, no. Well, that means that you are a non-believer. Because the Bible says faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God and I've preached the Word to you. That's to perfect your faith. The faith by the Word of God. That is to say, my faith comes for my mind and His faith comes from His mind. And the more I get the Word of God the more I get His mind and His faith. And the more that I get His faith the less I have of my faith, or the more my faith is incorporated in His faith, and finally becoming anointed faith it becomes the faith of Christ because I cast down every thought until it's His thoughts. And when every thought comes that's the Word and from the Word comes His mind. (Begin tape one, side two.)  perfect faith because I don't have my mind. So, it's very obvious that I'm free from the mind of the world. I'm free from the human senses. I'm free. I'm not a living soul. I am now a quickening spirit. I've been born again. And I say, as I said to someone today, I would say, Brother Taylor, you're born in to this world. It's very obvious; I see you. But I says, But I'm not pleased. I want you to be unborn. And Brother Taylor would think, Brother Pike, you're eccentric. You've done lost your mind. Who have you ever heard of that could be unborn? Have you ever heard of a person that could be unborn? No. Then is I'm born again why think that I could be unborn? Somebody would say, Well, I don't ever think like that. Well, why is it you say that you're in a backslidden condition and you have to get born again down at the next revival? Someone would say, Well, I'm not really saying, Brother Pike, you had to be born again down at the next revival. It just means you've got to come back in because you're backslid and get renewed. Why bother to get renewed? If you're born again what have you got to go back and get renewed for? If you're born again from this revival to this revival what have you got to worry about all of that for? That's just a lot of problems. Now am I making sense? Sure. See? You are born again once and for all. Somebody said, But you've got to get re-sanctified, Brother Pike. But the Bible says God sanctified us once and for all by the offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus. Now, somebody would say, What does the Bible mean when it says sanctify yourself daily. I tell you again, it is your body, bringing your body under subjection, submitting your body to this heavenly treasure that you already have within the earthen vessel. That must be made manifest in your mortal genes. If I have abundance of life on the inside and I'm just born into the world and I'm a healthy little baby kicking my feet and screaming for the bottle I must make that great power of potentiality which is life. I must make it manifest in my mortal genes until I completely grow into manhood. And I must come into manhood as this life is manifest in my genes and my mind grows, my understanding grow, my faith grows, my ability grows and I begin to believe in all the things that I can do in the world. See? Isn't this what you are? Someone would say, Well, certainly. Then why do you fear death? Why do you fear death? Someone would say, Well, Brother Pike, everybody has got to die. If everybody has got to die then where is eternal life? Let's give the Lord a hand. I said, Where is eternal living? If everybody has got to die where is eternal living? But the Bible says, someone says, that it's appointed unto man once to die. Every man has to die. So then, we say every man must die. I had to die. Less a seed fall into the ground and die it abideth alone. I had to die. Where then did I die? In the foreknowledge of God. When the Lamb was slain I died. I died. Someone would say, Well, you look much alive to me. That's because you're near sighted or something is wrong with you. Someone says, Well, do you mean you're dead? If I was dead I'd be buried and you couldn't see me. Let's give the Lord a hand. Somebody said, Well, what are you talking about? I'm talking about the Word. This good old way. Let's go on talking about this good old way. So then, am I dead; I'm dead in Christ Jesus. I reckon my body to be dead indeed unto sin and to the world. And that body is buried and you can't find it no more that you can find the body of Moses. See? I'm dead. I'm dead to the world. Someone would say, Well, there is where I'm at. Well, why are you always out in the world? If you're dead to the world why are you always out in the world? The people that are dead to the world that they've planted in the ground, putting them in a box, they're not out in the world. They're in the ground. See? If you're dead why are you always going around in the world? All night long, all day long, you've got to buy, you've got to shop, you've got to laugh, you've to talk, you've got to visit, you've got to see this, you've got to go over the hill to this, and the entertainments of the world. What are we talking about, folks? Talking about dead folks now. How many times do you see that happen at the funeral parlor? If you saw it one time that would be your last visit to the funeral parlor. See? So then, we're saying that we're dead. Dead by the body of Jesus Christ. Then it's not me living. If I'm dead then is it me living? Of course not. If it's not me living why do you say you see me alive? Someone would say, Well, now wait a minute. I do, Brother Pike. I'd say, Well, that's fine. You know, the door was open and the voice said come up hither. If you really see me then I know you're up hither. I know that you're with me and I know that I'm in heaven. See? And if I'm in heaven then I'm a quickening spirit because the body without the body is dead and through Christ I died at Calvary. And the spirit was released and it went back to God who gave it and the body was buried in a watery grave. And so then, if you see me then you're walking in the spirit, like John when he saw those angels in heaven. See? Now, if that be so then that's fine, but I'm just simply saying that if my spirit left my body then I don't dwell in the earth. I'm not in the flesh. If I'm not in the flesh how could I be in the earth. I'm made a quickening spirit. I'm one with the Savior. I'm bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. Didn't the Bible say the second man Adam was made a quickening spirit? and the first man Adam was made a living soul? So then, if I'm a quickening spirit and I dwell in heaven then if means if I'm dwelling in heaven then how is it that I'm in the earth? If I dwell in heaven how can I be dwelling in the earth? The heavens have received me. I'm hid with Christ in God whom the heavens have received. I am one of those that dwell in heaven. If I dwell in heaven, how then could I dwell in the flesh? When God sees me how does God see me? He sees me through the blood covered vesture of Jesus Christ at the right hand of the father, and that's me. That's me. And He doesn't see the old worm Jacob, as to the carcass that's gone back to the hole, or that's in the hole that's covered up that crawled out yonder at the tree of knowledge that came out through the beast and that kind of thing. He doesn't see that. That's dead. That's gone. Paul said, And I see within me, in my members, no good thing, for I see another law warring in my members bringing me into captivity. And you get all confused right there. You think, Now, wait a minute, Paul, you say me and then you say me, what are you talking about? That's a lot of double talk. I don't understand that kind of talk. For Paul said, And in my members I see another law warring against the law of my mind bringing me into captivity to the law of sin and death. He said, I'm doing this. Then he said, It is me and then he said, It's not me. He said, If I do that. If I do that that I would not then it's no longer I that doeth it but Christ on the inside of me keeps me from that. See? If is sin that's doing it. If it is not I that doeth it then it's sin within me. So, he uses the terms I and then he gets around to explaining it. I. He said, I do this that I would not do. And then he turns around after that and he says, It's not me doing it. It's not I that doeth it but it's sin dwelling within me. Or that is to say, because of this divided thing, like Siamese twins. See? There is one life, there are two minds. One life. Just one body, but there are two minds. And one of them have got to die. You can't have two heads. One of them is a freak. As a matter-of-fact, I think they're having an operation on some right now. One of those heads had to die. It has to be sacrificed. It might be nice to you but it's got to die. It's a freak; it has two heads. See? And there is only one body. There is only one life. And so that means that in this you've got to sacrifice one or the other. Now in the world they don't know which one that they are sacrificing but we do. And so then, you must die. You must fall into the ground and die or else you abide alone. This life can't come forth until this old crust corrupts, going back to the ground. Then when it breaks forth out of that comes the little twig and out of that comes the stalk and out of that comes the harvest. So then, the fruits of the Spirit, as to what Spirit? The Holy Spirit. The mind of Christ. If that's the spirit in you God feeds you the fruits of your thoughts as to the Holy Spirit for that is the mind of Christ. If not, it is the mind of Lucifer, the tree of knowledge, and out of that comes forth your thoughts as to the fruits of that spirit, which is altogether evil and adulterous and contrary to one that the wonderfulness of Almighty God, as to life. Rather than life it is death. So then, it is very obvious that now, beloved, we are the sons of God. See? And we're in this little tabernacle. So when these things happen, as to the human senses, is it me doing that? No. That's not me. Well, what is I? It is the mind of Satan. My body is born in sin. And it is the mind of Satan that has taken control of my body. And Paul said, I, therefore, with the flesh serve the law of sin. I'm subject to that because of Adam. He hath power over that part, which is the first man Adam. But by Calvary God killed that body. The serpents body; killed it. Now I'm born again. I've recreated. I'm a new creature. And now I'm the body of the Lord Jesus Christ and this body don't do that. I don't allow that to live in this body, not even a thought. I don't allow that because I'm now the body of the Lord Jesus Christ members in particular. I'm flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. There is a terrestrial body, there is a celestial body and I am the body of the son of God, even the risen one, the one that's right yonder at the right hand of my Father. And in this body I have the heavenly treasure, even the mind and life of Almighty God and it's making itself manifest in my mortal genes. So then, it is not I that doeth it. It is sin that dwelleth in me and what I must do, I must eradicate the impurities. God killed the body to the extent I'm free from that body. So I'm free from that sin. Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Oh wretched man that I am, he said. And so then, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh hath done away with that and I'm now dead to the law. When instead of serving the law of sin I'm dead to the law. For the Bible teaches, does the law have any power over them that are dead. The law hath no power over man except as long as he liveth. I am now dead to the law and the law is now dead to me by the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. So then, I'm free from those kind of things. I'm free from those kind of things. And then sin hath no more dominion over me because sin is the transgression of the law and if the law hath no more dominion over me because I'm dead, as to that part that sins. Then that means that the law doesn't have any control and sin doesn't have any control because sin is the transgression of the law. Let me say this right hurriedly. I've said this before but I want to repeat it. The Bible says that sin is in the world today because of lust. Eve, as to the lust of the eyes, looked at the tree, as we would say, and lusted. That is, she saw that it was good for food so she partook and she ate of it. Whereas, God had said, Thou shalt not do that, Eve. Ye shall not eat of that tree. Now, the law was, thou shalt not but Eve's doing was that she did. And when she did that she transgressed God's law, thou shalt not. And when she transgressed God's law what was that? That was sin. It was not imputed unto her until it got to the head which was Adam. When Adam accepted it that showed that was the feminine part and God had gone through the other to only show something typical as a woman and a man, the separation as for the body from the head. That was the feminine part that got into trouble, but in all reality being symbolic, a parabolic approach, it mean that the masculine being the spirit and the feminine being the body they were divided asunder and the image in which Adam was made withdrew, which was the masculine. And there it was, as to Adam being with his wife so is Christ with us in grace, that He forsake not the body to give us this wonderful grace of the Lord Jesus until He can recover the body from the fall because the man was not in the transgression. Now. Since the woman was in the transgression then the Bible says she is to subject herself unto the man, giving us a typical thing in this world that the masculine spirit is made stronger than the woman to subdue the woman because she is the body, as of the man. And so then, this mind, as to the husband's mind in her. And usually a woman winds up being exactly what the husband, a drunkard, a tale bearer, a gossiper, whatever he is that's what she usually winds up being. But I only said that, folks, to say this. That with that masculine part, the great bright dawning of that morning star, that Shekinah that was lost, it's back now. It's inside of you now. It is the light that is almost finished its course, as to the transformating, back to its originality. Coming back, not to be an illumination, as upon the body to protect the body for a moment, but rather changing the body, as to the interwoven being made manifest in your very mortal genes that you might be made the same thing Jesus was as He stood on the Mount of Transfiguration. So, the divine transology, as to translation of your spirit into Christ, or His spirit, and the transformation of your mind, as into His mind, as to let this mind Christ Jesus be in you, and the transfiguration of your body, as to transfigure into the wonderful human figure of Jesus Christ, even that which is resurrected from the dead. Well, anyway, when we talk about this then we know for sure that the fall in the garden, going back to that fall in the garden, we know then that the transgression was God said, Thou shalt not, and the lust was the transgression. And lust brought sin into the world. She lusted and then transgression of God's law was sin. Sin was born into the world just merely by her lusting. So, sin is in the world because of her lust. And then with that sin, with that sin that meant that God's law had been transgressed because transgression of the law is sin. And with that sin it meant death. And so then, men from that time have the sentence of death within their body. In their body they have the sentence of death and because the sentence of death is in their image, as to the first image, as to Adam and the beast, as to the mind of Satan, entered into it. It's depraved. It's separated from God, as to the Shekinah image and therefore it must die. It cannot just be redeemed, it must die. It must die. The sentence of death is in there and the death is sin, the sting of death. It is sin. The transgression of God's law, thou shalt not. And this is where we're all at today. See? By one man's sin came death. One man's sin. But by one man's righteousness, even Jesus Christ, so then came righteousness unto life. So through the righteousness of Jesus Christ we're now all alive. We were dead but now we are alive forever more. So then, comes Calvary (?) of the morning and hates the image and He destroyed it forever to where He can never sin it again. And then He said to you and I, Now you are a new creature, even the resurrected Christ. Now you are covered with the blood, the vesture at the right hand of the Father. And now you are blameless, without fault before the throne. No fault in this just man. Therefore you are perfect in the sight of God. Perfected forever, sanctified once and for all by the offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. No one can gossip, back bite, do whatever, or lay anything to your charge. You are God's peculiar treasure in the earth. You are God's people. You are the apple of God's eye. Ye are God's. Ye are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. You are His children. Ye are now, beloved, the sons of God. Let's give the Lord a hand. Now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. What is this great knowledge for? It is the mind of Christ. What is it for? To reveal this faith, that this faith might translate you. Enoch was translated by faith that he should not see death and when you realize that you are passed death, and that you cannot sin, God will not impute sin unto you, that He imputes you faith, as to righteousness. And that all of these things are gone. And then you say, Well, where am I? Say, You're in heaven. Somebody says, Well, glory to God, I've been translated. Somebody say hallelujah! And the Kingdom of God came  Somebody said, Well, but I thought it was going into the Kingdom of God? It came at Calvary and since then men press their way into the Kingdom of God and God has translated them into the Kingdom of God. It's a spiritual thing. It has nothing to do with your little clay body. It profiteth nothing. It's just a little mold. It was broken open at Calvary and are ye the sons of God. Hallelujah! See? And coming into this wonderful knowledge to know who we are, or what we are, this faith being perfected through the change, or the transformation, all of sudden, Shoo! and there it is. There it is and there is your diplomacy. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. Somebody says, How long? How long? How long? Oh, Brother Pike. And I say this a lot of times. How long? You missed it, it took place. Somebody say hallelujah! Hallelujah! That's how quick it is. So then, are we sitting around waiting for the change? Are we sitting around waiting for the change? It's been the change all down through the ages. It's been the change ever since Calvary. It's been the revelation. It's been the rapture. Ever since Calvary it's been the church ages. Ever since Calvary it's been heaven. That's what God did. He did away with the world and He brought in heaven. And this is heaven. Oh, somebody says, you're crazy. Oh, no. No, I'm not beside myself. As Paul said, This wasn't done in a corner. It's just so overwhelming. It is so great. It is so mighty. While the world is out yonder waiting for Christ to return  I tell you again, when He went in to the temple, or He went into that little place in the tabernacle in the wilderness, that little ten by ten, that was called the temple. If he went in and came out late, or stayed very long it meant wrath upon the people. When did He go in? At the resurrection. Did He come back yet? No. Why? It's bad for the people. When He comes He's going to break the heavens and He's coming in great judgment. It's ill with the people. But did He do the saints that way? Oh, no. He went up. Forty days He was seen of them and then He ascended into heaven and quickly, that quick, ten days, He was right back into the temple. The body, whose temple ye are. And He came right back and He said, All is well: peace on earth, good will toward mankind. Somebody say hallelujah! Is He at home in your temple? He shall suddenly appear in His temple to be glorified within His saints and all the world will come and knell before you and know that God has loved you. So then, where are you today? Now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. Christ in you the hope of glory. That's where it's at today. And through this wonderful revealing, as to the revelation of the son of God, that is the revelation. That is the translation. That is you coming to your understanding to wit the redemption of your body. Somebody says, But, Brother Pike, I believe you go up like that. Well, let's look at it like this. Jesus did go up, didn't He? At the resurrection He did go up. After His resurrection He went up. And you tell me Jesus went up to heaven? Someone would say, Well, of course, He went up to heaven. Well, where is heaven up there? They've been up there and looked around and haven't found it. Somebody would say, Well, didn't He ascend up in to heaven? Sure did. He ascended up in to heaven. That angel that Billy Paul saw, I wonder where he descended from. Then  Somebody would say, Well, what are you talking about? I'm simply saying this. Did He or did He not tell Nicodemus, The Son of Man who came down from heaven, in that He ascended up in to heaven? Or did He tell Nicodemus, The Son of Man which is in heaven, while He talked with him? Was He in heaven? The question arises, What is Heaven? We're talking about the Kingdom of Heaven. Isn't that what it's called, The Kingdom of Heaven? Then what is that on the inside of you? It's the Kingdom of Heaven. And where are you? First, what are you? You are the spiritual man on the inside. One that is now a son of God, Peter said, in this little tabernacle. And where is that son of God? He's in Heaven because you are the ones that dwell in Heaven. God is a spirit. What is God doing? Somebody said, Well, He's got to come back. Come back from where? He's got to come back from Heaven. Well, if the Kingdom of Heaven is within you where is He coming from? Somebody said, Well, the heavens are going to roll back. Ye are the heavens. He will break through that intellect of yours. He will break through the clouds. He will come in the great clouds of witness. He will break forth from Kingdom of God within you, suddenly appearing within His temple as that glory to be made manifest in your mortal genes that will outshine the brightness of the noonday and the whole world will come to the light of your shining. See? Somebody says, Too deep for me; it's over my head. Not for Saints of God. The righteous shall understand. So then, what is this about Him coming back from the heavens, and all of the heavens rolling back? What are we talking about? We're talking about the Jewish people. Everything has to be done to them in the natural. I've said this before. We see all of these things as the man of God on the inside through the spirit. And we're dwelling in the spirit, which is heaven and these things will be made known to us by transformation, as by revelation of mind. Then when the Jews come in what do we do? Why do they call the seven last years the Revelation of Jesus Christ when it's the tribulation period? Why do they do that? Because it is the revealing time to the Jews. To the natural world. To all these things having to be done in the natural to the body, to the Jews, and the body comes in like that at the resurrection as the Jews come in, as to the change. See? So it is the revealing time to the Jews and it's called the revealing to the Jews, or the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which goes to those people. But, folks, at Calvary when the veil was rent in twain Christ revealed Himself unto us. He came unto us. The world didn't see Him. He said, I'll come and the world shall not see Me, for I shall be in you. So then, where is Christ? He's on the inside of you. Somebody said, Well, I know He's coming back. How can He come back when He's already inside of you? If He's going to come back that means He's not inside of you. Somebody said, Yeah, but I believe He's coming back with a body. Sure. To whom? To the Jews. That's the bodily perspective. Somebody says, Brother Pike, do you mean to tell me you don't believe Jesus is going to come to us in the body? Sure, He'll come to you in the body at the change, at the resurrection He'll appear as the body and your membership will unit itself with Him. But, folks, Christ is the life. Christ is the mind. It wasn't the body. That body without Christ in it, it was dead. See? That's the body that's sitting yonder at the right hand of the Father as the blood dipped vesture. And it only comes back to show that the members have reached their diplomacy as to the fullness of the church, as to the change. Jesus being the head of the body He will be coming back to the bodily perspective, back to the Jews. Somebody say Hallelujah! Somebody says, That's over my head. Well, it shouldn't be. It shouldn't be. You've listen a long time. It shouldn't be over your head. So then, where is the Lord Jesus? Somebody said, He's in Heaven. Aren't you glad you're up there with Him? Aren't you glad you're up there? Somebody says, But, one of these days I'm going to get caught away and I'm going to be up there with Him. Well, hallelujah! When you get up there with Him you'll find me there. Hallelujah! Somebody say hallelujah! Come on up hither. Somebody would say, Well, Brother Pike, you know that can't be. Well, when John got up there He found prophets up here. He started to worship one and the prophet said, That's all right; I'm already here. Don't worship me, worship God. When Brother Branham went beyond the veil He saw some people up there and it was angles and it was a resurrection of the dead. Somebody say hallelujah! What are we talking about? We're talking about the sons of God. Now. Why think it robbery to be equal with God? Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. What are we believing for? We're are learning this so that we can believe that we're equal with God. What does that mean? In Heaven you are equal with the angels. God is the great angel and we're equal with the angles because we're in Heaven and angels cannot die. Why do you fear death? It's because you haven't passed from death unto life. Appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. Didn't you die in Calvary? Reckon yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin. Wasn't that your death? Or are we playing a game and just telling people that to make believe. Somebody tell me. Are we just saying we make believe, Jesus died, we're dead. You know better than that. Folks, if you think that's the way folks it is let somebody kill you and see if you're making believe. We're dead. That's gone. That's over. That's eternal. That's gone forever. All of those people that were in the grave that Jesus went down to minister to, as the souls in prison, even as the soul of the rich man cried from hell. This is no fairy tale. See? And we're already dead. They died under the law of the faith of Abraham. They couldn't get away from the faith of Abraham because the faith of Abraham was, I believe that my seed shall bring forth, even as Isaac, the promised child. But, see? This is not the faith, as of Abraham unto Isaac, as to the paradise of God, these all died in the faith, as to that paradise. When Jesus went down there Paul said, Now has come the faith of Jesus Christ, in the bosom of Christ, which is God Himself. And this is the faith that sanctified you and this is why that He was moved, as from the place, and that is why you're where you're at today. You soul and spirit is in the faith of Christ Jesus. The law and the prophets, a school master to bring us unto the faith. But now that the faith is here, Paul, turn them from darkness to light. See? Now that the faith is here. Now that The Faith has come we no longer need the school master, as to the law. If I tutored you in the law for ten years then why would you need the law anymore. You already know the law. And Paul said, In these people, they are a law unto themselves and their thoughts are the means while accusing or else excusing one another. These are a law unto themselves. They don't need a natural law. The law is just to teach them these things. See? And when that comes then the law is done away with. So the law has been done away with. It's folded up and laid away and Jesus Christ fulfilled it in you, every jot and tittle. So then, that means that you are free from the law because faith is now come and your justification by faith. And the Bible says, we therefore conclude that a man is justified by faith of Jesus Christ without the deeds of the law. So then, you're not under the law, so you're not under the curse. You are now children. All children by faith. Then if you are children then are you partakers of the benefit. All right. Let's stand together. We get chastened because the Bible says all sons and daughters are chastened. (Begin tape two, side one) Now, beloved, are we the sons of God. Now, beloved, are we in heaven. Now, beloved. Somebody would say, My God! Have you heard what they're preaching out yonder in that place? Somebody says, Yea. Somebody said, Did you hear them babies hollering hosanna to Christ? Jesus said, Yea. Have you not read in the Scriptures where out of the mouths of babes and sucklings God hath perfected praise? Sure. Do you mean to tell me them folks believe they are in Heaven? Well, the Bible says we're the body of the Lord Jesus Christ whom the heavens have received, and Jesus said the Son of Man which is in Heaven. Somebody tell me, Where is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ? Can you tell me? Can anybody tell me? In Heaven? Then could it be at all that you would be in the earth, in that you're the body of the Lord Jesus Christ? Is Christ divided? Is God divided? Of course not. Didn't Jesus say you are my disciples and wherever I am there my disciples shall be also? You testify he's in Heaven, then you testify that you are one of His disciples. Where are you? Somebody say praise the Lord. Let's give Him a hand. All right. Do you really believe that from your heart? See? That's the thing. Do you really believe that from your heart? It's by faith that Enoch got up there. The heavens declared his handiwork and he just kept on believing until after awhile he was not because God took him. Do you believe that has happened to you? The law and the prophets until John, since that time the Kingdom of God has been here and men have pressed their way in to the Kingdom of God. And we preach to you the Kingdom of God and the entrance into the Kingdom of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the door that John saw open in Heaven, which was the rent veil that Peter, as to looking beyond the veil, said, You're the Christ. And in doing that the door stayed open until the end of the church ages where we're coming to right now. And all of a sudden this change of the body and John went up into Heaven, as to what he saw to be all of those things. He was already in the Spirit on the Lord's Day. See? He went up to Heaven. Now, He said, Come up hither. Why does God do that? Because to you it's up and to you it's down. As to you it's in, as to you it's out. But where is all of that before the world ever was? Where is up and down before the world ever was? Where is in and out before the world ever was? Where was it? Somebody says, Well, now that's different, Brother Pike. What different about it? Jesus said, Father, restore unto me the joys I had before with Thee before the foundation of the world. Somebody said, But that was Jesus. I thought that's what you told me you are. Now, not only that but the Bible says where were you when the sons of God leaped for joy when God laid the cornerstone of the earth? Someone would say, Well, I don't even know what the cornerstone is. Well, let me tell you. The Bible says, And the stone come crying grace, grace, grace. And that cornerstone is what fit the pyramid of that the prophets have done and what Moses has done and lifted it up. What is it this then? Jesus said to the Jews. What is this that the prophets have said? And the stone that the builders have rejected, the same has become the head of the corner. He was before all things. In Him all things were made and by Him all things were made for Him. Without Him was nothing made because He was the cornerstone. When God came forth there was nothing and He said, I'm going to make an earth but I've got to have a cornerstone and Jesus came forth. Let's give Him a hand. Somebody say hallelujah! Where were you, Job, when I laid that cornerstone? Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise God. Let's sing a little chorus together, can we? (Singing) Sing it again now like this.
