Things That Remain
In my travels, I have seen many things, and have been privileged to sit and converse with great men, and also church laity. I have seen one great obstacle in the life of God’s people. The Bible tells us that they perish from the lack of knowledge, and this I have seen.
They do not know God’s mind nor His will, and because of this, Satan takes advantage of them. The Bible tells us not to give place to the devil, but to resist him and he will flee from you. Jesus said, “Behold, I give you power over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
David said, “My heart is fixed in God and evil tidings shall not trouble me.” In a dream, I saw Satan. At first, it startled me, but I took faith and resisted him and he blew up like a balloon and went into pieces. Jesus said, “Fear not!” God has not given us the spirit of fear, so why should we accept it from Satan? People fear sickness, poverty, and troubling circumstances. They fear the loss of their children or loved ones, the loss of their minds or of their worldly goods.
Listen and let me share my discoveries and victories with you. First, remember and keep in mind that God is no respecter of persons. As the song says, “What God has done for others, He will do for you.” Remember, God is able.
The angel said that nothing shall be impossible to God. Then, keep in mind that all things are possible to them that believe. So, it is not out of your reach. This does not mean that all things are just brought into the realms of possibility, but it means that now, by Christ’s work and faith at Calvary, you can do anything.
The Bible says that God, without respect of persons, has forgiven us all of our iniquities and healed all our diseases, that by His stripes we are healed. It tells us that God is good and there is none good but God, which means without fault.
The Bible says that Jesus, who was God in human flesh, went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. Did you know that when the Bible says “all,” He did not ask if they were Christians or sinners? He just looked for faith.
Now, He did say that healing was the children’s bread, and that if you climbed up to God’s benefits without the righteousness of the saints, which He called the wedding garment, you would be found there and then cast out of the mind of love and compassion, which is the world of light (Christ’s mind), into the satanic mind of fears and woes, which is the outer world of darkness with its reasoning and theologies, to become a reprobate, to believe a lie and be damned.
He did say, Go thy way and sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you, but if you are born again and become a believer by repenting of your ways and sins, to be filled with His Spirit, then you pass from death unto life and leave everything that pertains unto defeat, sickness, or death behind forever.
We wait for our faith to grow strong enough to change the body into its glorified form. Satan can prog at our faith through the unchanged body" yet, sin cannot be charged against it because its failures and mistakes are not willful, for the outer man is dead by the body of Christ at Calvary. If the love of the world and its ways, or the will to sin, is in you, you have not passed from death unto life. We know that we have passed from death unto life because we love the brethren and God’s ways.
The only proof is to do the things that are contained in the Scriptures, and to always please Him as we grow, in the knowledge and in the light, to the fullness of the stature of the perfect man, Christ Jesus, to be perfect even as He is perfect.
The will of God is to conquer death and change the body so that we may bypass the grave. Remember, God is the Spirit of holiness. That is why the Bible proclaims that without holiness, no man shall see life or the Lord, because the Spirit of holiness is the only Spirit of eternal life, and it is called the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost.
By name, it is Jesus. That is why the whole family in heaven and earth is named after Jesus. All things are gathered into His body. By baptism of one Spirit, we become the members of the body of Christ, which is the church, then we take the bodily or family name and lose our own identity by the death of Christ’s body at Calvary. He became us in death, so that we might become Him in life. He was made our sins that we might be made His righteousness. He bore our sicknesses and infirmities on the tree that we might have His peace and health.
The chastisement for our peace was laid on Him, so when we suffer, it is useless unless it is for His sake. Faith quenches all the fiery darts of Satan. When we fear and worry, it is foolish because it brings defeat by unbelief, which is sin, and the soul that sins shall surely die.
Unbelief limits God in your life in providing for you. That’s why God overthrew them in the wilderness. They limited the Holy One of Israel saying, Can God prepare a place and food in the wilderness? Paul said that many people die or sleep because they fail to wit the redemption of their body, as well as their spirit, from sickness, terror, and sin.
We know in part, and as God reveals the Word of truth in its season or age, we comprehend line upon line, and precept upon precept, unto the fullness, and are changed from glory unto glory into the stature of perfection to overcome death. We know in part, but soon, part will complete perfection.
If you can recognize that you are the body of Christ, and death has no power over you" that God, the Spirit, is tabernacling in man’s body and that there is virtue in this temple for healing, then you can be healed and saved. The prayer of faith shall heal the sick, and if they have committed any sins, it shall be forgiven them.
John said, “The tabernacle of God is among men.” The world and the antichrist shall blaspheme this name of God called Jesus, and this church or body of believers that are called by His name, and not a church name, are called Christians (Christ-like).
To climb up into religion by a church name means to climb up another way, but Jesus, the Word, said, “I am the door to the sheepfold.”
When we give place to Satan through unbelief in God’s promises, we do like Eve. We cause trouble. We may drive out the spirit or cast Satan out, but he will leave a dirty roost of sickness and trouble, which sometimes requires a miracle to restore the losses and heal the bruises of man.
Just remember that God said, “Peace on earth and good will toward man.” God wants His will or Word done on earth as it is in you. Earth is your body, as heaven is your spirit, so He can redeem the earth and the body and change them. God is saying, “Come on! I am with you, and I will never leave you nor forsake you. You can overcome by My strength and faith or My works. You have all power over the enemy. Don’t let him hurt you! Bruise his head, which is that old carnal mind of reasoning, and overthrow it! Lean not to your own understanding, but trust in the Lord and I will bring it to pass. I will supply all of your needs according to My riches in glory, for I have given unto you, in Christ, all things that pertain unto life, purifying you, perfecting you forever and glorifying you, knowing that nobody can lay anything to your charge because you are My elect, and nothing can separate you from My love because you are born of God. You cannot sin, and no one can deceive you. The truth has made you free, and every adversary that rises against you in judgment, I will condemn and destroy. Thus saith the Lord!” I feel His Spirit saying, “Amen!”
You have an unction from the Holy One to know all things. God looked down from heaven and heard the groaning of the prisoners, and loosed them that were appointed unto death. He has, for your sake, destroyed Satan. You have power over death if thou canst believe. All things are possible to them that believe.
Let us be strong in the power of His might, or works by faith, and lift up feeble hands of weakness in our life and in others. Let the weak say, “I am strong by His strength,” so that the lame be not turned aside because of our unbelief, but Paul said, “Let it rather be healed.”
Let us all together rise up, take and establish God’s kingdom and will on earth, so that the angels might rise and proclaim that the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of Christ. Let us strengthen those things that remain, lest He should come and remove our candlestick. Amen.
