God’s Will

Inasmuch as you have taken time to read these writings, I would like to discuss with you God’s will for your life. The Bible tells us not to be ignorant concerning the will of God, but to know the Lord’s will. Do you know the will of God for your life? First, let me say that God’s will is in His Word, and His Word is Spirit, and the Spirit is love, and love is grace, and grace is that upon which our faith rests. Faith cannot rest upon anything less than the grace of God’s Word. God is the Word.

First, there was the Spirit of love and life. It projected itself into an angelic manifestation of spiritual beings, which was the first step in God’s great master plan to create an eternal kingdom. This was the first act in a three dimensional step toward God’s entire program. Then, it was headed up in Christ. When Christ died, the church was killed out. It was transferred into the printed page, that it might be preserved all down through the years. Now, once again, God desires to make it Spirit through the medium of the written Word, by the translation of our spirit into oneness with His Spirit, so that we might be manifested sons of God in the flesh.

In our spirits, we are already justified, sanctified, glorified, and perfected forever. We are elect according to foreknowledge by God’s grace. Nothing can take us away from the love of God, and we are free from sin, which causes sickness and death.

We have all power over the enemy, and nothing can, by any means, hurt us. God has given us all things that pertain unto life. We have passed from death unto life, and our spirits are in heaven, having been translated into the marvelous kingdom of God. We are hid with Christ in God, whom the heavens have received, and we are sitting together in heavenly places, just waiting to wit the redemption of our bodies, for the creature (body) itself shall also be delivered from bondage into the glorious liberties of the sons of God.

The first step in learning God’s will for our body is to make our calling and election sure. Peter said that if you can produce love in deed and change not, but swear to your own hurt in daily matters, then you are born of God and can never fall. Prove this first! Next, learn God’s will or Word, so that you might see His favor toward man. God said, “Peace on earth and good will toward man.” He said, “I know that My thoughts are good toward you, and I will give thee the desires of thine heart, and a good end.” Now, believe this with your heart, for with the heart man has faith or believes. First, you believe intellectually, and then the Word goes into your heart to become faith, as Spirit.

The world was first natural, a world of water and vegetation. Next, it was physical, a blood world of flesh and human anatomy. Thirdly, it was spiritual, in the spirit of man, or the angelic world. Let us look for a moment, through the eyes of revelation, at what actually took place in the garden of Eden when God first created man. Satan, being an angel (spirit), lost out in heaven. He was made ruler of the darkness, but in seeking a way to return into the presence of Almighty God, he invaded man’s kingdom through the weaker vessel, which was the woman. Christ’s coming to rescue man caused a great conflict or warfare in the physical realms.

This is where our trouble is. Satan has been destroyed by Christ for the believer’s sake. The Bible says, “Woe unto the inhabitants of the earth, for the devil (Satan) is among you.” We are in heaven in our spirits, but in earth in our body. So, Satan works through the carnal mind, which is enmity with God, causing a continual warfare between the body and soul, the inner and outer man. Paul said, “Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? “He said, “I serve God with the mind (spirit of faith and the inner man), but through the weakness of the flesh, I am subject to sin and its practices.”

Paul was pure inwardly, but how to make the good manifest in the flesh, he could not find. His bodily members had to be crucified so that they would respond properly to righteousness. Paul said that Jesus Christ was made a body of sin. So, by faith in His death, our body is dead. As the chief member, the head became our body in death, that through His blood we might become His body in life. So then, from Scripture to Scripture, glory to glory, or revelation to revelation, we are, in part, changed by the Word as it is revealed in its age or season. We are changed into the fullness of the stature of the perfect man, Christ Jesus, the God-man or the Word made flesh, unto glorification.

Sin came by one man, Adam. Righteousness and atonement came by one man, Christ Jesus. We have passed from death unto life, and by His stripes, we are healed. So, when we fully comprehend this, we are freed from the curse of sickness and sin. In all this, we have to wit (recognize) the redemption of our body as did Enoch and Elijah, who were translated by faith. Our spirit (inward man) has already been translated into the kingdom of God, but we must translate our bodies by faith in the Word of God, to make it manifest in our flesh. Now we are the sons of God. God, the Spirit, was manifest in the flesh of Jesus. The sons of God are manifested in our fleshly bodies by faith. This is done in part, until we reach the fullness of the stature of Christ, through the power of comprehension.

Paul said that you might be able to comprehend the heights, the depths, and the widths. So, we must earnestly contend for this faith which was once delivered unto the saints. This means perfection if we don’t waver. Maturity comes by perfect works of obedience, a clear conscience, and works of righteousness.

Works make faith perfect. James tells us that we must be partakers in the sufferings and self-denial of Christ, so that we might become compassionate, enabling us to feel the infirmities of others. By this, we develop a faith sufficient to meet their needs. Faith works by love, which is the bond of perfection, because it fulfills God’s laws by thinking no evil, thus eliminating condemnation from the heart, which, in return, releases faith, so that it might go into action in our behalf as it commands God concerning the work of His hand.

When you fear, you waver. Don’t be weary in thought, and don’t be fearful, but refuse to fear. Fear is faith in reverse. It destroys, for Satan works through unbelief, but right believing is faith, and God’s Spirit works through faith. Let us accept, in all joy and confidence, without fear, God’s promises and grace.

David said, “I will fear no evil,” so don’t be afraid of sudden fear or impulses, nor of dreams, neither of prophecies. Do not fear interpretations of tongues, reports, people, things or happenings. Try to please God and man. By this, you will assure your heart before God, and you will have faith in God to answer prayer. This is what the Bible tells us.

I also believe, that in this age, you will not see death, but you will be translated by faith. Having done all to stand, then stand by grace. Just have faith and stand. To have perfect faith, you must have the knowledge of God. Man’s faith comes by man’s knowledge. God’s faith comes by the knowledge of Christ, the Word. Be ye therefore transformed by the renewing of your mind. You must know God’s feelings toward you, and His desires and abilities, for you to be able to believe. You cannot believe in that which you do not know or understand.

So, meditate upon these things, and give yourself wholly unto them, and show yourself approved. Let your profiting appear unto all.

God has, for Christ’s sake, forgiven our sins and taken away our sicknesses. All of the righteousness of God was fulfilled in Christ. All that God required of man for righteousness, Christ performed in His lifetime, so let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus: the mind of peace, joy, faith, and perfect deliverance. Be ye therefore transformed by the renewing of your mind into the Bible mind of Christ, from your carnal mind of conflict and perplexity, which is enmity with God. This is complete deliverance, for this is the will of God.
