One Day A Stranger

1. One day a stranger, came down from glory,

He stole my heart, friend, and He carried it away,

He proved great love to me, from sin He set me free,

He made me so glad, when I believed.

2. At heaven’s gates He awaits, to welcome me home,

A paradise, a place of rest, where we’ll never more roam,

He came from glory, told me love’s sweet story,

He stole my heart, friend, and He carried it away.

Chorus:

Someday I’ll meet Him there,

On heaven’s golden stairs,

He’ll take hold of my hand,

And then I’ll understand.
