I’ve Changed My Mind

1. I thought about a life of fame,

Of worldly riches and pretty things,

Now I want to leave this world behind,

I thought it over, I’ve changed my mind.

2. I saw the sorrow, here’s what He said,

“They that live in pleasure, are among the dead,”

He showed me heartaches, and tear stained eyes,

I’ve thought it over, I’ve changed my mind.

Chorus:

I’ve changed my mind, friend,

About a lot of things,

Every since I met the king,

I don’t know why, I was so blind,

Since we talked it over, and I changed my mind.
