Shiloh’s Nigh

1. As the leaves ascend into the wind,

The whirlwind passes by,

And I hear the chant of that heavenly dance,

From the angels up on high.

2. From the briny deep to the heavenly steep,

There arose a mighty cry,

The friend of man is without end,

Now men don’t have to die.

3. The roaring flames of the deep domain,

They’ve lost their ancient pride,

For the Lord of lords and the King of kings,

Gently brushed them aside.

4. There appears to be on the mystic sea,

The host of which I boast,

Through the lofty skies of its billowing tide,

I can see the Holy Ghost.

Chorus:

Allelujah, Allelujah,

Aloha, Shiloh’s nigh,

Allelujah, Allelujah,

Aloha, Shiloh’s nigh,

Aloha, Shiloh’s nigh.
