Prince Of Peace (#1)

1. The stage is set, the last scene is approaching,

The Master of them all is coming forth,

The ecstasy, the stardom of His glory,

Is the greatest act that heaven can afford.

2. The galaxy, heaven’s high angelic curtain,

Shall unfold upon that mighty scene some day,

He’ll rend the veil as every eye beholds Him,

While ten thousand times ten thousand sings His praise.

3. The Milky Way, the platform of His glory,

Shall tremble as He sounds the last retreat,

The great “I Am” shall blast out on the trumpet,

The dead in Christ shall rise, there at His feet.

Chorus:

There is a door open in heaven,

And by faith friend, I can see the streets of gold,

The Prince of Peace, the mighty God of Jehovah,

I can see Him as His beauty I behold.
