I’m So Amazed

1. I’m so amazed, as I behold Thy glory,

My heart cries out, in song and praise to Thee,

The splendor of Your love in life’s great story,

That beyond the stars, You’ve prepared a place for me.

2. You’ve sprinkled night, with stardust from Your heavens,

The moonbeams play along the Milky Way,

You slip into the heart of one who’s dreaming,

To thrill the soul, with instructions how to pray.

Chorus:

The thunder rolls, I see the lightning flashing,

You send the light, and turn my night to day,

Your gentle breeze, that ever is caressing,

The hand of God, that scatters them away.

Almighty God, my heart will go on searching,

Until I find the place, Lord, where You stay,

I’ll live for Thee, until my footsteps falter,

Then lie in rest, to awake with Thee some day.
