1. Sometimes we grow weary, when we fail to pray,

Storm clouds then gather, they get in our way,

But if you love Jesus, you can look up and say,

Christ is the answer, He’ll turn night into day.

2. There’s mountains of trial, there’s rivers to cross,

There’s valleys of sorrow, where poor souls have been lost,

But the Lord is my shepherd and He’s holding my hand,

By grace I can make it to Canaan’s fair land.
