1. Someone will have a birthday,

I wonder if you know who,

The Lord of lords and King of kings,

He has been so good to you,

There’ll be celebrating,

For soon it will be Christmas day.

2. The babe born in a manger,

We’ll celebrate His fame,

The fairest of ten thousand,

King Jesus is his name,

There’ll be celebrating,

There’ll be celebrating,

For soon it will be Christmas day.

3. Perhaps there’ll be some snowflakes,

To fall upon the ground,

To bring the Christmas spirit,

We’ll hear those jolly sounds.

There’ll be celebrating, gonna be celebrating,

For soon it will be Christmas day.

4. I know the herald angels,

Will join in as we sing,

We’ll shout hallelujah,

His promise to proclaim,

There’ll be celebrating,

There’ll be celebrating,

In spirit on Christmas day.

5. T’will be a day of greeting,

Friend will unite with friend,

Friendship and old acquaintance,

Will be renewed again,

There’ll be celebrating,

Gonna be celebrating,

For soon it will be Christmas day.

6. Let’s do away with Santa Claus,

And put the Bible in,

And don’t lie to your children,

You know that its a sin,

There’ll be celebrating,

Gonna be celebrating,

For soon it will be Christmas day.

Chorus:

There’s candles in the windows, decorations on the door,

There’s lights upon the Christmas tree,

It’s just a few days more,

There’ll be celebrating, there’ll be celebrating,

For soon it will be Christmas day.
