1. Heavenly bliss and a bright tomorrow,

Entered my heart while joy bells sing,

The Lord came near, angels surround me,

They played their harps, and I heard them sing.

2. The love of God that He gave to me,

Raptured my soul to realms on high,

I’m hid with Christ until the dawning of,

That great day I bid this world good bye.

Chorus:

A soul was lost but Jesus found it,

A life was gone but Jesus came,

He wrapped His arms gently around me,

And I found peace when He called my name.
