Almighty God

1. Lord, You made the mighty oceans,

Oh, so vast and so deep,

And Lord, You carved out the mountains,

Oh, so graceful and so steep,

As I behold the mighty eagle,

Oh, so lofty and so high,

Almighty God, sometimes I sit down and I cry.

2. When the darkness gathers ‘round me,

With its shadows oh so deep,

When my wounded heart is weary,

Then You lay me down to sleep,

If there is no one to help me,

Lord, You answer when I call,

Almighty God, you will never let me fall.

Chorus:

Almighty God, that placed the stars in the sky,

Almighty God, that hung the moon on high,

When I think about your love, and how great Thou art,

Almighty God, I surrender my heart.
